Mustafa Shakur scores one point in Thunder debut

(3/17/2014) The Thunder have signed guard Mustafa Shakur on Sunday and was limited to just one point and two assists in his debut against the Mavericks. Shakur appeared in 36 games with the Erie BayHawks of the D-League, averaging  16.7 points, 6.1 assists and 4.2 rebounds in 34.4 minutes per contest.

Shakur's first 10-day contract is over, so he's no longer on the roster. That said, the Wizards plan on bringing him back later in the week when his right ankle injury subsides.

(1/29/2011) Washington guard Mustafa Shakur will miss the Wizards' game against Memphis on Saturday after injuring his leg in his previous game, according to the team's website. Shakur hurt his right leg on a screen by Oklahoma City's Nick Collison in Washington's loss to the Thunder on Friday night. He is considered day-to-day.

(1/22/2011) Washington guard Mustafa Shakur, who was called up form the D-League on Saturday, had a shaky start to his stint with the Wizards. With Kirk Hinrich out of action, Shakur was brought up as insurance. The rookie guard went 2 for 4 from the field -- missing both his 3-point attempts -- and hitting his lone foul shot, finishing with five points. Shakur added five assists, two blocks and two rebounds in his 10 minutes of action. Washington would hold Boston to 11 points in the fourth quarter, winning the game 85-83.

(1/22/2011) The Wizards have called up Mustafa Shakur from the D-League, reports AOL Fanhouse. The Wizards have guard Kirk Hinrich with an injury and called Shakur for some insurance. "Hopefully, if everything goes right with my flights, I'll get there and get situated and then be ready to play against the Celtics," Shakur told FanHouse.
