Hornets waive Johnson

(1/27/2012) The New Orleans Hornets released G Trey Johnson on Friday after he appeared in 11 games this season. Johnson posted averages of 1.9 points and 1.1 rebounds per game during his limited playing time with New Orleans, his fourth NBA team in three years.

Johnson enjoyed time with Lakers

(5/11/2011) The Orange County Register reports that Lakers guard Trey Johnson, who was called up from the NBA Developmental League with two games left in the regular season when the Lakers were left short-handed by Steve Blake’s chickenpox and Matt Barnes’ knee problems, played 13 minutes in one regular-season game and three playoff games. He had been the Bakersfield Jam’s leading scorer. “I told Phil (Jackson) and Mitch (Kupchak) that I appreciated the opportunity that I needed, that maybe other teams might think that if they (Lakers) could use him, then maybe we can, too.” Johnson said Kupchak didn’t give him any indication whether the Lakers were going to keep him on the roster, although it’s unlikely.

Johnson set to join Lakers

Johnson to last with Toronto?

(2/5/2011) After being signed to a 10-day contract January 26, Raptors guard Trey Johnson reached a season-high 10 points in Friday's win over the Timberwolves. He shot 3 of 7 from the floor, making all four of his free-throw attempts in the process. Johnson added three rebounds while notching a block and an assist in 18 minutes of playing time.

T. Johnson scores in debut

(1/26/2011) Toronto signed guard Trey Johnson on Wednesday to a 10-day contract and he produced -- slightly -- in his debut with the Raptors. He logged 12 minutes and shot 1 for 4 from the field. He went 1 for 2 from behind the 3-point arc, finishing with three points. He wouldn't contribute anything else in Toronto's 107-94 loss to Philadelphia.
