Pacers declare David West, C.J. Watson, George Hill out Wednesday

(11/18/2014) The Pacers will again be without forward David West (ankle), guard C.J. Watson (foot), and guard George Hill (knee) for Wednesday’s game against Charlotte, the team announced.

The Pacers also listed guard Rodney Stuckey as probable and forward C.J. Miles as doubtful for Wednesday.

Indiana has also listed Rodney Stuckey (sore left foot) and C.J. Miles (sore right calf) as questionable for the game.

Miles questionable, four players out for Pacers Monday

(11/10/2014) The Pacers announced forward C.J. Miles remains questionable for Monday's game against the Jazz due to a migraine. He has already missed two games due to an ongoing migraine issue.

While Miles has a chance to play Monday, the same can't be said for George Hill (knee), Rodney Stuckey (foot), C.J. Watson (foot) and David West (ankle), who were all ruled out. West, Watson and Stuckey could all be back soon, but Hill isn't expected back until December.


Frank Vogel provides update on injured Pacers

(11/9/2014) Pacers coach Frank Vogel provided an update on his injured players to reporters following a 97-90 defeat to Washington, according to Scott Agness of VigilantSports.com.

David West (sprained right ankle) is expected to return at some point near the end of the week. When asked about C.J. Watson (bruised right foot), Vogel indicated that he's on a similar timetable as West, but he may be sidelined beyond next week. Rodney Stuckey (sore left foot) will be re-evaluated early next week, which will likely cause him to miss Monday's game against Utah. George Hill (left knee contusion) is not expected back until December.

(10/27/2014) The Pacers will be without the services of forward David West and guards  George Hill and C.J. Watson to start the season, according to the team's official website.

West will miss approximately the first three games of the season with a sprained right ankle. Hill will miss three weeks with a left knee contusion while Watson will be sidelined two weeks with a bruised right foot.

(10/18/2014) The Pacers will be without the services of guards Rodney Stuckey and C.J. Watson Saturday night against the Mavericks in preseason action, the team announced. Stuckey is dealing with a sore left foot, while Watson is nursing a sore right foot.

The Pacers will start the season Oct. 29 at home against Philadelphia.

(10/6/2014)  Pacers guard C.J. Watson will miss the team's preseason opener against the Vikings Tuesday, as he deals with a sore foot.

At this point, the injury is not considered serious enough to linger into the regular season, but it has kept him out of training camp activities the last few days. Watson is expected to serve as the backup point guard for the Pacers again, after averaging 6.6 points and 1.7 assists per game a year ago. 


C.J. Watson plays limited role off bench

(4/10/2014) Pacers guard C.J. Watson was back in the rotation Wednesday against the Bucks, after missing the team's last 13 games with a hamstring injury.

Watson played 17 minutes off the bench in his return to action, scoring eight points on 3 of 5 shooting. He added one rebound, one assist and two steals, while turning the ball over three times in the 104-102 win.

Watson has appeared in 61 games for the Pacers, 56 of them off the bench. He is averaging 6.3 points and 1.7 assists per game.

(4/3/2014) Pacers guard C.J. Watson rode an eliptical for approximately 10 minutes at the end of Thursday's practice. He has not made much progress from a hamstring injury and remains "likely" a week away from returning to the lineup, head coach Frank Vogel told the Indianapolis Star.

Watson has been sidelined for 15 of the last 16 games because of the injury. He is averaging 6.3 points, 1.7 assists and 1.6 rebounds over 60 games.

(3/14/2014) Pacers guard C.J. Watson returned from an elbow injury Friday against the 76ers, after missing four games in a row. Unfortunately, his return was short lived, as he was forced to leave the game after just eight minutes playing time, due to a hamstring injury.

Watson was unable to return following the injury, and it is not clear whether he will be able to play in the team's next game, Saturday against the Pistons.
