Pacers PG C.J. Watson (sinus) probable Saturday

(12/19/2014) Pacers point guard C.J. Watson is probable to play against the Nuggets Saturday as he continues to deal with a sinus infection, the Indianapolis Star reports.

Watson was questionable for Wednesday's game but was able to score 12 points in 29 minutes of action. He should be back on the court Saturday despite the malady. The guard has averaged 11.3 points and 4.4 assists in 11 games.

(12/13/2014) Pacers guard C.J. Watson scored a season-high 23 points on 8 of 11 shooting, including 4 of 5 shooting from three-point range, in his team's 95-85 loss to the Blazers Saturday.

Watson was on point from the field Saturday, making 80 percent of his three-pointers after entering the game with a 33 percent success rate from behind the arc. He also recorded five assists and one rebound in 33 minutes. The Pacers take an eight-game losing streak into Monday's matchup with the Lakers.

(12/10/2014) Pacers forward C.J. Watson came off the bench Wednesday and scored a season-high 30 points on 11 of 22 shooting during a 103-96 loss to the Clippers. His previous season high was 17 points Dec. 2.

Miles was on fire from behind the arc, shooting 7 of 14 from 3-point range. He also added four rebounds, two assists and one steal.

The Pacers next play Friday at Toronto.

(11/10/2014) The Pacers announced forward C.J. Miles remains questionable for Monday's game against the Jazz due to a migraine. He has already missed two games due to an ongoing migraine issue.

While Miles has a chance to play Monday, the same can't be said for George Hill (knee), Rodney Stuckey (foot), C.J. Watson (foot) and David West (ankle), who were all ruled out. West, Watson and Stuckey could all be back soon, but Hill isn't expected back until December.


Frank Vogel provides update on injured Pacers

(11/9/2014) Pacers coach Frank Vogel provided an update on his injured players to reporters following a 97-90 defeat to Washington, according to Scott Agness of VigilantSports.com.

David West (sprained right ankle) is expected to return at some point near the end of the week. When asked about C.J. Watson (bruised right foot), Vogel indicated that he's on a similar timetable as West, but he may be sidelined beyond next week. Rodney Stuckey (sore left foot) will be re-evaluated early next week, which will likely cause him to miss Monday's game against Utah. George Hill (left knee contusion) is not expected back until December.

West will miss approximately the first three games of the season with a sprained right ankle. Hill will miss three weeks with a left knee contusion while Watson will be sidelined two weeks with a bruised right foot.

At this point, the injury is not considered serious enough to linger into the regular season, but it has kept him out of training camp activities the last few days. Watson is expected to serve as the backup point guard for the Pacers again, after averaging 6.6 points and 1.7 assists per game a year ago.

(4/10/2014) Pacers guard C.J. Watson was back in the rotation Wednesday against the Bucks, after missing the team's last 13 games with a hamstring injury.

Watson played 17 minutes off the bench in his return to action, scoring eight points on 3 of 5 shooting. He added one rebound, one assist and two steals, while turning the ball over three times in the 104-102 win.

Watson has appeared in 61 games for the Pacers, 56 of them off the bench. He is averaging 6.3 points and 1.7 assists per game.

(4/3/2014) Pacers guard C.J. Watson rode an eliptical for approximately 10 minutes at the end of Thursday's practice. He has not made much progress from a hamstring injury and remains "likely" a week away from returning to the lineup, head coach Frank Vogel told the Indianapolis Star.

Watson has been sidelined for 15 of the last 16 games because of the injury. He is averaging 6.3 points, 1.7 assists and 1.6 rebounds over 60 games.
