by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(2/17/2014) Forward Lamar Odom has a deal in place with Spanish team Laboral Kutxa and intends to play in Spain for the remainder of the season, ESPN reports.

Odom had a roller-coaster 2013 that included rumors of drug abuse and a DUI arrest. He met with the Clippers in November but the two sides couldn't work out a deal. It appeared that he may be ready to return in January, but he wasn't able to find any takers, so he'll head across the Atlantic to play in Spain for the remainder of the season.

(12/3/2013) Free agent forward Lamar Odom could be ready to return as early as January, according to CBSSports.com NBA Insider Ken Berger on Tuesday.

Odom spent two weeks of strenuous workouts with renowned trainer Rob McClanaghan and is back home in Los Angeles waiting for his next step in his basketball comeback. The Clippers have been monitoring the process, according to the report.

Odom played last season and averaged 4.0 points and 5.9 rebounds per game last season for the Clippers. He scored in double figures just three times in 2012-13.

Report: Lamar Odom meets with Clippers for two hours

(11/15/2013) The Clippers have a need for frontcourt depth, and as Yahoo.com reports, they could be close to adding some help. According to the report, the Clippers met with free agent forward Lamar Odom for nearly two hours at the team's practice facility.

The report does not indicate that Odom has already agreed to join the Clippers, but appears likely to do so at some point.

Odom appeared in all 82 games for the Clippers last season, averaging 4.0 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game in 19.7 minutes.

Clippers, Lakers monitor Lamar Odom's progress

(11/14/2013) The Clippers and Lakers are continuing to monitor free agent forward Lamar Odom, and both teams would sign him if Odom could prove his issues are in the past, ESPN reports

Odom has begun training with a target of being ready to play in the second half of the season. He dealt with allegations of drug use and an arrest on a DUI charge this offseason.

(3/27/2013) Clippers forward Lamar Odom came off the bench Tuesday against the Mavericks, in the same role he has been in all season. He scored six points on 3 of 5 shooting in 19 minutes. Odom, who endured boos from the Mavericks' fans after a disastrous stint with the team last season, added six rebounds, and one assist, while turning the ball over once in a 109-102 overtime loss.
