Ahearn makes his debut


(4/14/2012) Newly-acquired guard Blake Ahearn made his Jazz debut on Saturday against the Grizzlies, as he played five minutes in a 103-98 loss. He missed his only attempt from the field, a three-pointer, and added two rebounds and an assist.

Jazz add sharpshooter


(4/9/2012) Guard Blake Ahearn, who most recently spent three games with the Spurs in 2008-09, was signed by the Jazz on Monday, according to the Salt Lake Tribune. He spent the past season with the Reno Bighorns of the NBA Developmental League, scoring 23.8 points per game on 46.9 shooting and 40.9 percent from three-point range.

(11/16/2008) The San Antonio Spurs signed guard Blake Ahearn on Sunday, adding a new face in the backcourt with Tony Parker still recovering from a sprained ankle. The Spurs signed the 6-foot-2 Ahearn from the Dakota Wizards of the NBA D-League.

(3/31/2008) The Heat announced Monday that they have signed guard Blake Ahearn and forward Stephane Lasme to second 10-day contracts. Ahearn has appeared in six games for the Heat, averaging 5.7 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 15.0 minutes of action. He scored a career-high 15 points at Detroit last week, and his 94.7 percent (18-of-19) from the free throw line currently leads the team. Lasme has appeared in six games for the Heat, averaging 5.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 1.0 steals in 21.5 minutes of action. He blocked a career-high three shots on two occasions and has recorded 12 blocks in his six games.
