Rockets add Jeff Adrien, Joey Dorsey

(7/15/2014) The Rockets have agreed to deals with center Joey Dorsey and forward Jeff Adrien Tuesday, according to Yahoo.com and the Houston Chronicle.

Dorsey signed with the Rockets after spending three seasons playing in Europe. Adrien played for the Bucks last season, averaging 10.9 points and 7.8 rebounds in 28 games.

 


Dorsey boards up in first start


(4/12/2011) Raptors center Joey Dorsey had one of his most productive games of the season during Monday's 93-86 win over the Raptors. Dorsey, who started in place of the injured Reggie Evans against Milwaukee, finished with 10 points in the defeat on 3 of 12 shooting from the floor. However, he also grabbed a career-high 20 rebounds in the contest to go along with two assists and block while logging 33 minutes.

(3/27/2011) Toronto forward Joey Dorsey was able to play on Saturday night after missing Friday's game with an illness. Dorsey logged 13 minutes off the bench and would shoot 1 for 2 from the field. He finished the night with two points, three boards, two blocks and an assist. The Clippers would hand the Raptors a second loss in as many nights with a 94-90 victory.

(1/22/2011) Raptors forward Joey Dorsey played just 15 minutes on Friday night before his right knee started to bother him. That knee kept him out of Saturday's game in Miami. He tested out his knee with the trainers prior to the game, but seemed to be favoring it too much to be given the green light. He's being considered day to day. X-rays showed he has a strained right patella tendon.

He later went for an X-ray and was found to have a strained right patella tendon, reports the Toronto Star. He got the start over Amir Johnson, but didn't produce much while he was in the game. Dorsey missed his lone shot, but did grab six rebounds and block a shot for Toronto. Dorsey is questionable for Saturday's game against Miami.
