He scored 14 of his points in the fourth quarter and also added eight rebounds, six assists, one steal and one block to his stat line, while logging 36 minutes off the bench. "It's like I'm dreaming," Hudson said when asked if he's afraid he's going to wake up.

Cavs extend Hudson

"I'm pretty sure he'll be in a Cleveland uniform for the rest of the season," Scott said. "He's been fantastic for us."

Hudson’s last stand?

(4/8/2012) On the final day of his current 10-day contract, Cavaliers guard Lester Hudson decided to let it all hang out, turning in the best game of his NBA career with 26 points off the bench against the Nets. Coming off a 23-point showing, Hudson hit 9 of 22 from the field, including 6 of 12 from three-point range with a game-tying three at the end of regulation to send it into overtime. The Cavaliers were unable to take advantage of the extra opportunity, falling 122-117, however Hudson certainly did, notching a career high with his scoring while also adding four rebounds, three assists and two steals. After the game, coach Byron Scott seemed confident that Hudson's time with the team was not done. "I'm pretty sure he'll be in a Cleveland uniform for the rest of the season," Scott said. "He's been fantastic for us. He gave us a chance to win tonight.
