News: Bobcats center Byron Mullens was unable to suit up for the team's season finale Wednesday against the Cavaliers. Mullens will end up missing 10 of the final 11 games for the season, due to an ankle injury.
Analysis: Mullens had a decent statistical season, averaging a career-high 10.6 points and 6.4 rebounds per game, however he missed 29 games and struggled badly with his consistency. Mullens shot 38.5 percent from the field, a pitifully low number for a big man. Mullens is a restricted free-agent this season, and could garner some decent attention on the market due to his unique skills. He is unlikely to be much more than a low-end Fantasy option on Draft Day next season, no matter where he lands.
News: Bobcats center Byron Mullens was ruled out for Monday's contest against the Knicks due to an ankle injury. Mullens, who has now missed nine of the last 10 games due to an elbow and an ankle injury, remains listed as day to day, according to the team's official website.
Analysis: Mullens was a very popular breakout candidate prior to the start of the season and he got off to a decent start, averaging 11.6 points and 7.8 rebounds over his first 26 games. However, he was then forced to miss 19 games after severely spraining his left ankle and has had problems with it ever since. In fact, the 7-footer has scored in double figures in just five of his last 18 games and is averaging 6.0 points and 3.1 rebounds over that span. He is slated to be a restricted free agent over the summer, so it will be interesting to see how much attention he garners. Mullens will need to hold down a spot in the starting lineup for him to be a relevant Fantasy option next year.
News: Bobcats center Byron Mullens missed his third straight game Saturday against the Bucks due to an elbow injury. Mullens has now missed eight of the last nine games due to ankle and elbow ailments. He remains officially listed as day to day, according to the team's official website.

News: Bobcats center Byron Mullens was ruled out for Friday's contest against the Heat as he continues to nurse sprained left ankle. Mullens has now missed five straight games with his injury and the club is considering shutting him down for the season, reports the team's official website.
Analysis: Mullens is likely done for the season, albeit there has still been no official announcement from the team. The 7-footer got off to a great start this season, but he has now missed 23 of Charlotte's last 45 games due to injuries. Even if Mullens is somehow able to return, he likely won't be at 100 percent, so continue to ignore him in all formats at this point in the year.
News: The Gaston Gazette reports that Bobcats center Byron Mullens, who has missed the past four games with an ankle injury, could be shut down for the rest of the year. Mullens was visiting the doctor on Thursday.
Analysis: Fantasy owners should consider being without Mullens even if he isn't shut down. His value is minimal the rest of this season since it's unlikely he will return at 100 percent.
News: Bobcats center Byron Mullens missed his fourth game in a row Wednesday, as he continues to deal with an ankle injury.
Analysis: Mullens dealt with this injury earlier in the season, and it seems to be an issue that will continue to linger. Mullens was averaging 7.4 points per game in his previous seven games, and at this point can just be considered a low-end Fantasy reserve, given his health status.
News: The Charlotte Observer reports that Bobcats center Byron Mullens remains questionable for Wednesday's game against the Sixers. Mullens has missed the past three games with an ankle injury.
Analysis: We'll find out prior to tip-off if Mullens can return against the Sixers, but Fantasy owners in daily leagues should use caution in case he's out again. Even if he does return he might be rusty and has struggled following a good early start to the season.
News: Bobcats center Byron Mullens was ruled out for Monday's contest against the Bucks as he continues to nurse a sprained left ankle. Mullens has now missed three straight games with his injury, but remains listed as day to day. Hes close, coach Mike Dunlap said. A lot of that is just a call between the trainer and him.
Analysis: Mullens appears to be getting close to getting back on the court, but that might not matter much to Fantasy owners. The 7-footer has been very inconsistent when he has been on the court as he is averaging is averaging just 6.4 points and 2.7 rebounds in the month of March. Mullens only has appeal as a low-end option in deeper formats at this point in the season.
News: Bobcats center Byron Mullens was ruled out for Saturday's contest against the 76ers due to a sore right ankle. Mullens, who has now missed two straight games with his injury, remains listed as day to day, according to the team's official website.
Analysis: Mullens will now be considered an injury risk heading into Fantasy Week 23 (April 1-7), but owners should be used to that by now. The 7-footer has now missed 21 games due to a variety of injuries and has struggled with his consistency when he has been on the court. He is averaging just 6.4 points and 2.7 rebounds in the month of March, so consider him merely a low-end option when healthy.
News: Bobcats center Byron Mullens was a late scratch from Friday's contest against the Knicks due to a sore left ankle, according to the team's official website. Mullens is being listed as day to day with his injury.
Analysis: This is the first we are hearing about Mullens' ankle issues, but apparently his injury was serious enough to keep him out of the lineup. The 7-footer has had a hard time staying on the court this season as he has already missed 20 games due to a variety of injuries. He has also struggled with his consistency when he has been healthy, so owners should consider him merely a low-end option at this point in the season.
News: Bobcats center Byron Mullens earned his first start since March 8 on Sunday against the Heat. He scored five points and hauled in two rebounds in the 109-77 loss. Mullens went just 2 for 8 from the field, including 1 for 5 from downtown, while playing 23 minutes.
Analysis: Mullens entered Sunday averaging seven points with 3.7 rebounds in the previous seven contests while coming off the bench. While he has enjoyed a career campaign thus far, the 24-year-old has been too inconsistent of late to trust in Fantasy. Leave Mullens for deeper formats down the stretch.
News: Bobcats center Byron Mullens did not see much of the court during Friday's contest against the Raptors. Mullens, who is dealing with a lower back strain, logged just eight minutes in the 92-78 defeat. He missed his lone field-goal attempt and added one rebound and one assist to his stat line.
Analysis: Mullens is a mess right now as he is dealing with back and ankle issues, which have severely limited his playing time of late. Clearly the 24-year-old is not himself as he has failed to score in double figures in each of his last six games and is averaging 2.2 points and one rebound over that stretch. That is a far cry from the 11.6 points and 7.8 rebounds he put up over his first 27 games this season. Owners should plan on leaving Mullens reserved until he proves to be healthy and productive again.
News: The Charlotte Observer reports that Bobcats center Byron Mullens was limited in practice Thursday with a lower-back strain. He is considered a game-time decision for Friday's game at Toronto. Mullens left Tuesday's contest against the Celtics due to the injury.
Analysis: Fantasy owners in all leagues should keep an eye on Mullens heading into Friday, and hopefully he's able to play against the Raptors. He has been struggling of late and entered Tuesday's game averaging just 4.6 points in the previous five games. You might want to keep him reserved against Toronto and see how he does coming back from the injury before making him active in most formats.
News: Bobcats center Byron Mullens left Tuesday's contest against the Celtics due to a lower back strain and did not return. He scored two points and hauled in three rebounds while playing 11 minutes off the bench. Mullens went 1 for 3 from the field and also posted three assists before the early exit.
Analysis: Mullens has been limited to 44 games this season due to injury and now has a new one to deal with. Keep an eye on his status going forward to see how much time he will miss. Mullens has had a career campaign thus far but entered Tuesday averaging just 4.6 points in the previous five games. Keep the 24-year-old reserved in all but deeper Fantasy formats until he gets back on track.
News: Charlotte center Byron Mullens had been dealing with a knee issue but was fine to play against the Nets on Wednesday, reports the Charlotte Observer. Mullens played just three minutes on Monday at Portland but it is unclear whether or not the injury is what kept him out of action.
Analysis: Mullens' knee is not 100 percent right now, though he's playing through it. He's averaging close to 12 points and eight rebounds per game, when he's at his best. Mullens has center eligibility and that keeps him viable in most deeper Fantasy formats.
News: Bobcats center Byron Mullens endured a rough shooting performance but still managed to stay in double figures Friday night against the Jazz. Mullens went 5 of 13 shooting from the field, including 2 of 5 from downtown as he finished with 12 points and seven rebounds while logging 23 minutes of game action in a 98-68 defeat.
Analysis: After being held to single-digit scoring in a two-game stretch in late February, Mullens has bounced back and stayed in double figures in each of the last two games. He is averaging 11.0 points and 7.0 rebounds while shooting 35.5 percent from the field over that span. Mullens had a tough stretch where he could not find his shot and seems to be getting back on track. Since the center position in so thin in Fantasy, the 24-year-old should be viewed as a viable option in deeper formats.
News: Bobcats center Byron Mullens recorded his third double-double in the last five games on Tuesday night against the Magic. He scored 20 points and hauled in 12 rebounds in the 105-92 win. Mullens went to the locker room briefly due to an ankle injury but returned and ended up playing 41 minutes. He went 8 for 17 from the field, including 2 for 6 from downtown, and made both of his free throws. Mullens also posted an assist and a steal in the victory.
Analysis: Mullens entered Tuesday averaging 19 points with 8.6 rebounds in the previous five contests on 48 percent shooting. He also made 39 percent of his 3-pointers during that stretch and had another solid performance on Tuesday. Given his production at a thin position in Fantasy, owners should keep the 24-year-old active in most formats.
News: Charlotte center Byron Mullens averaged 17.8 points per game -- five points above his season average -- in the six games leading up to the All-Star break. Even more encouraging for coach Mike Dunlap was Mullens' increased production on the boards, averaging 8.6 rebounds per game during that stretch. That was highlighted by a 25-point, 18-rebound performance in a win last week over the Celtics. "I just have to show the league and our organization that I can rebound," Mullens said. "The 18 rebounds, I would rather have that than 25 points. That's because (rebounding) is not what I'm known for. I just have to show I can rebound consistently."
Analysis: The solid six-game stretch for Mullens comes after missing 19 games with a foot injury. He admits being the beneficiary of "fresh legs" when other NBA players were beginning to tire before the All-Star game. But he's also feeling more comfortable in his second season of full action. He sat for two years in Oklahoma City, rarely seeing the floor before being traded last season for a second-round draft pick. Mullens also has range from downtown as he's attempting four 3-pointers a game. Fantasy owners should activate him in most formats for Week 17 (Feb. 18-24) now that he's healthy.
News: Bobcats center Byron Mullens turned in his best performance since returning from an ankle injury during Monday's contest against the Celtics. Mullens, who ended up missing 19 games with his injury, finished with 25 points and a season-best 18 rebounds in the 94-91 win. He made 10 of his 16 field-goal attempts but said he was more pleased with his effort on the glass. "I just have to show the league and this organization that I can rebound," Mullens said.
Analysis: Mullens also added four assists to his stat line and ended up logging 43 minutes -- which is the longest he has played since his return to the lineup. The 23-year-old has finally made his way back into the starting lineup and has responded by averaging 20.3 points and 11 rebounds while shooting 47 percent since the move was made. While Mullens has showed some high-end potential in the past, he has never been able to sustain that type of production for long stretches of time. However, now that he is healthy and playing well, owners should feel free to get him active in the majority of formats moving forward.
News: If Bobcats center Byron Mullens is feeling any ill effects from his ankle injury, he showed no signs Friday against the Lakers. Mullens returned to the starting lineup after two games on the bench, and he played 39 minutes in a 100-93 loss. Mullens scored 20 points on 8 of 18 shooting, while recording his first double-double since returning, with 12 rebounds. He added one assist, one block, one steal and one three-pointer.
Analysis: Mullens has scored at least 12 points in each of his games since returning from the injury, and he is showcasing some uncharacteristic efficiency. The seven-footer is shooting 43.6 percent from the field and 42.9 percent from three-point range over three games, besting his season averages by a considerable margin. He is shooting just 31.8 percent on three-pointers and 37.4 percent overall on the season, so this is likely just a little hot streak. Still, it looks like he is back to playing full-time minutes, and should be considered a viable starting Fantasy option in most formats.
News: Bobcats center Byron Mullens was finally able to get back on the court during Monday's contest against the Heat. Mullens, who had missed the previous 19 games with a severely sprained left ankle, finished with 12 points and nine rebounds in the 99-94 defeat. He made two of his five attempts from downtown and also added two steals, one assist and one block to his stat line, while logging 28 minutes of game action. "I'm still kind of concerned jumping off of it and getting hurt again.," he said, "but I just have to go out there and play with full confidence and not worry about it."
Analysis: Mullens came off the bench Monday night as the Bobcats wanted to ease him back into action. However, he should be moved back into the starting lineup as soon as he proves to be fully healthy, which could come sooner rather than later. Mullens was supposed to be on a 11-15 minute restriction in his first game back, but wound up logging 28 against the Heat. That seems to suggest he is feeling better than most thought, which could lead to him seeing over 30 minutes per game once again. Fantasy owners should keep an eye on how he fares over the next few games. Mullens averaged 11.6 points and 7.8 rebounds prior to his injury, making him a viable start as his position when healthy.
News: Bobcats center Byron Mullens is expected to return from a 19-game absence because of an ankle injury during Monday's matchup at Miami, the Charlotte Observer reports. However, Mullens will be limited to to just 11-15 minutes against the Heat in his first game back since Dec. 22. "I wouldnt say Im 100 percent, but at a point where I can go; where I can take a couple of Advils and play on it," Mullens said Sunday.
Analysis: Mullens was able to participate in practice Friday and Sunday with the Bobcats, but the team will be conservative with the emerging center at first and ease him back into action. He said he is still having difficulty jumping at full force. "Im pretty sure my legs will get tired, so 12 to 15 minutes should be great, and then Cleveland and then the Lakers (at home Friday) -- thats what Im really getting ready for, that big game," he said. Mullens has served as Charlotte's key threat in the paint and is averaging 11.6 points and 7.8 rebounds this year. He should only be activated in deeper Fantasy formats while he works back into game shape.
News: Bobcats center Byron Mullens was ruled inactive for Saturday's contest against the Rockets despite dealing with an ankle injury, according to the Charlotte Observer. Mullens has been sidelined the past five weeks with a sprained left ankle that has kept him out of game action since Dec. 22. Mullens intends to play Monday in Miami.
Analysis: Mullens will sit out another game and will likely need one more practice before he returns to action. The Bobcats won't play until Monday at Miami, so we'll keep an eye on his status moving forward. Mullens, who averaged 11.6 points and 7.8 rebounds per game before the injury, is expected to return to action at some point during Week 15 (Feb. 4-10). Consider him a solid option in deeper Fantasy formats once he returns to action.
News: Bobcats center Byron Mullens (ankle) could return to the lineup during Saturday's game at Houston after being listed as a game-time decision, the team announced Friday. Mullens has been sidelined the past five weeks with a sprained left ankle that has kept him out of game action since Dec. 22.
Analysis: Mullens' return would be a tremendous boost for Charlotte as it has struggled to find production in the middle this season. Finally receiving consistent playing time for the first time, Mullens was enjoying a breakout campaign prior to the injury and registered 11.6 points and 7.8 rebounds per game. He also posted five double-doubles over 27 games. Consider him a fine option in deeper Fantasy formats once he takes the court.
News: Bobcats center Byron Mullens was able to work out with the team for the second time this week Thursday, and he expressed some optimism about the state of his injury ankle. (Based on) today, I felt like I could play on Saturday (at home against the Timberwolves), but I know I cant, Mullens told the Charlotte Observer. Just running around at 10 percent is not like game speed and Im definitely not in game shape. Not after being out for a month. Mullens hopes to return at some point during the teams upcoming five-game road trip, as he will travel with the team throughout the trip. He has been able to do agility drills, but will likely need to take part in at least one full-contact practice before getting on the floor.
Analysis: Mullens has missed nearly a month since suffering his ankle injury, and it is clear he is closer to getting back on the court than at any point so far. He has been cleared for all activity, depending on his pain threshold. According to the report, Mullens he is past the point where swelling and pain are a concern, but he remains limited by the presence of scar tissue. I jacked it up pretty bad, Mullens said of the injury. I probably tore everything you could tear without breaking it. Mullens was not a model of efficiency prior to his injury, but he was averaging 11.6 points and 7.8 rebounds per game, with the latter stat leading the team. We will continue to monitor Mullens status moving forward, as he is a worthwhile Fantasy option in many formats, when healthy.
News: Charlotte center Byron Mullens was seen on the court on Tuesday practicing taking jump shots, reports the team's official site. Mullens is out with an ankle injury but appeared to move fairly well. Charlotte coach Mike Dunlap said Monday, however, that Mullens remains a "long way away" from returning to action.
Analysis: Mullens looked better than we thought he would on the practice court Tuesday. That said, we'd believe coach Dunlap in that it is likely he's still going to need plenty of more time out before he's back for the Bobcats. After earning a shot at extended playing time for the first time in his career last season, Mullens has taken another positive step this year and posted 11.6 points and 7.8 rebounds per game -- both career highs -- prior to the injury. He was cleared last week to participate in shooting drills, but the big man still has plenty of hurdles before returning to full-contact practice. Keep him reserved in most Fantasy formats at this point.
News: Bobcats coach Mike Dunlap said Monday that center Byron Mullens (ankle) remains a "long way away" from returning to action and there is no clear timetable for when he can get back on the court, the Charlotte Observer reports. Mullens, who has not played since Dec. 22 at Denver, has missed the past 14 games with a sprained left ankle. Hakim Warrick has assumed his spot in the starting lineup during his absence.
Analysis: After earning a shot at extended playing time for the first time in his career last season, Mullens has taken another positive step this year and posted 11.6 points and 7.8 rebounds per game -- both career highs -- prior to the injury. He was cleared last week to participate in shooting drills, but the big man still has plenty of hurdles before returning to full-contact practice. Keep him reserved in most Fantasy formats at this point.
News: Bobcats center Byron Mullens, who has been sidelined with a severely sprained left ankle since Dec. 23, has been cleared to start shooting and running on the zero-gravity machine, reports the Charlotte Observer. However, there has still been on timetable announced for his return. Hakim Warrick will continue to see starts in his absence.
Analysis: While it remains uncertain when Mullens will be able to get back on the court, it does appear he is starting to make some progress with his return. Still, Mullens still has several hurdles to overcome before that happens, including going through a few full-contact practices. Fantasy owners should keep an eye on his status moving forward. Mullens was averaging a career-best 11.6 points and 7.8 rebounds prior to his injury and is worth stashing in most formats for the time being.
News: When Bobcats center Byron Mullens fell awkwardly on his ankle last week, the seven-footer instinctively knew he had suffered a serious injury. When I went down I told them it was broken. I looked down at my leg and it was jammed to the side, Mullens told the Charlotte Observer Saturday. Later I looked at (the fall) on TV and it looked bad then, too. Luckily, his instincts proved wrong, as he was ultimately diagnosed with just a bad sprain. He was out of his walking boot Saturday, and has been able to walk without any noticeable limp. Despite his significant progress in recent days, the team still does not have a timetable for his return.
Analysis: It seems like Mullens will likely need to miss at least another handful of games before being able to get back on the court. He will need to participate in at least one practice before the team even considers getting him active for a game. Still, it seems like he should be back sooner than it might have seemed after the injury first occurred. Mullens is averaging 11.5 points and 7.6 rebounds per game, both career highs, and if Fantasy owners can be patient and wait a few weeks, he is worth stashing in many formats.
News: Charlotte center Byron Mullens, who has a severely sprained left ankle, is no longer wearing his walking boot, reports the Charlotte Observer Saturday. That said, Mullens still doesn't have a timetable to return to the court. Mullens suffered his injury two weeks ago.
Analysis: The Bobcats believe Mullens may need at least another week of rehab before he's able to think about getting back on the court for games. He's probably two or three weeks from returning. The 23-year-old is in the midst of a breakout campaign and is posting career highs in points (11.5) and rebounds (7.6) per game.
News: Charlotte center Byron Mullens appears to have suffered what doctors are calling a "severe" left ankle sprain, reports the Charlotte Observer Monday. Mullens was injured on Saturday and his return date is uncertain at this time. X-rays came back negative, but Mullens needed crutches in the locker room. He could miss up to a month of action and is definitely not day to day right now.
Analysis: Mullens may need to make an extended absence in order to recover from this ankle sprain. This may not be a quick recovery. This is definitely a crushing blow for the Bobcats, who have lost 15 straight games. The 23-year-old is in the midst of a breakout campaign and is posting career highs in points (11.5) and rebounds (7.6) per game.
News: Charlotte center Byron Mullens left Saturday's game in the fourth quarter with an apparent ankle injury that required him to be helped off the court. Mullens suffered the injury after taking a hard fall near the basket late in the final quarter and remained on the floor for a couple minutes before being carried to the locker room. He finished with 16 points and 14 rebounds in 32 minutes of playing time before the early exit.
Analysis: If Mullens is forced to miss any playing time, that would be a crushing blow for the reeling Bobcats, who have lost 15 consecutive games, as he has served as one of the team's leading scorers. The 23-year-old is in the midst of a breakout campaign and is posting career highs in points (11.5) and rebounds (7.6) per game. Fantasy owners should keep tabs on his status as he could be an injury risk heading into Week 9 (Dec. 24-30).
News: After taking a seat on the bench for the first time all season last week, Bobcats center Byron Mullens has been back in the starting lineup over the last few games. Mullens played 37 minutes against the Magic Saturday, in a 107-98 loss. He scored 12 points on 4 of 11 shooting, while going 1 for 3 from three-point range. Mullens grabbed just four rebounds in the game, but did add an assist, a block and a steal.
Analysis: Mullens got off to a strong start to the season, averaging 12.9 points and 8.2 rebounds per game through the first month. His production has dipped in December as he has lost playing time -- he is now averaging 9.8 points and 5.5 rebounds in 25.8 minutes per game. At this point, Mullens should be considered more of a low-end Fantasy option moving forward.
News: Bobcats center Byron Mullens was out of the starting lineup for the first time all season Saturday against the Spurs. Mullens suffered a slight sprained ankle in the teams previous game and was limited in the game, scoring just seven points in 14 minutes in a 132-102 loss. He added four rebounds and one three-pointer, going 1 for 5 from distance.
Analysis: Coach Mike Dunlap indicated prior to the game that Mullens would likely be limited, which definitely proved to be true. The question moving forward is whether he will be a permanent member of the teams second unit, after starting the first 18 games. Mullens is averaging just 8.2 points and 6.4 rebounds per game over the last five, and the uncertainty surrounding his role should give Fantasy owners pause about relying on him in Week 7 (Dec. 10-16).
News: Charlotte center Byron Mullens recorded a double-double in Monday's overtime loss to Portland. Mullens scored 12 points and grabbed 12 rebounds and also had a highlight-reel dunk over LaMarcus Aldridge in the game. He played 41 minutes and went 5 of 14 from the field overall with two 3-pointers. Mullens added a block.
Analysis: Mullens does have a 27-point effort under his belt in his last five games but is mostly around what he scored Monday. That said, he's a solid rebounder and his real value is the 3-point shooting for his position. Mullens can be active across the board in Fantasy play.
News: Bobcats center Byron Mullens enjoyed another productive performance Saturday night against the Wizards. Mullens knocked down five 3-pointers and finished with a season-high 27 points in a 108-106 double-overtime victory. He went 9 of 15 shooting from the field, including 5 of 11 from downtown, and converted 4 of 5 free throws on the night. He also added eight rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal in 46 minutes of game action.
Analysis: Mullens was on the court for most of the game and took advantage as he continues to find his shooting touch as of late. He is shooting 42 percent (24 for 57) from the field in his last four games while averaging 17 points per game over that stretch. Mullens continues to see starts at power forward and is averaging over 32 minutes per game thus far. Fantasy owners should continue to view him as a high-end option in all formats for now.
News: Bobcats center Byron Mullens turned in another productive performance during Charlotte's contest against the Bucks Monday night. Mullens poured in 19 points in the 102-98 win, on 7 of 14 shooting from the field. He made one of his two attempts from behind the arc and also chipped in with nine rebounds, one assist and one steal, while logging 40 minutes of game action.
Analysis: After going through a bit of a shooting and scoring slump during the beginning of the last scoring period, Mullens has re-gained his touch the last few games. The 23-year-old has scored in double figures in each of his last three games and is averaging 16.3 points and 10.1 rebounds over that stretch. Mullens continues to see starts at power forward and is averaging over 32 minutes per game thus far. Fantasy owners should continue to roll with him as a high-end option in all formats moving forward.
News: Bobcats center Byron Mullens posted seven points and a season-high 14 rebounds during Charlotte's 101-97 overtime victory over Dallas on Saturday night. Mullens recovered from his lowest rebounding effort of the season in his last game at New Orleans (three) and has now tallied at least 10 boards in two of his five games this season. He made just 3 of his 9 attempts from the field, including 1 of 5 from downtown.
Analysis: Mullens continues to showcase his prowess from long range and has drained at least 3-pointer in each of his past four games. But his accuracy from beyond the arc is a little lackluster as he's connected on better than 50 percent of his attempts only once in that span. Mullens already appears primed to set a career high in rebounds per game (his current mark is 8.4 rpg) and is a useful option in deeper Fantasy formats for now.
News: Bobcats center Byron Mullens showed off his range during Charlotte's contest against the Suns Wednesday night. Mullens made six of his 10 3-pointers in the 117-110 defeat as he finished with a team-high 24 points. He finished shooting 9 of 16 from the field and also added eight rebounds and a steal to his stat line, while logging a season-high 37 minutes of game action. Mullens is shooting 33 percent (8 for 24) from the field over his first three games of the season.
Analysis: Mullens was a very popular pick as a breakout option this season and after his latest performance it is easy to see why. The 23-year-old is one of the few 7-footers in the league who actually has some range from outside and can still post decent rebounding numbers. However, the knock on Mullen is his lack of post game, which means when his shots aren't falling, he can have trouble scoring the ball at times. Still, coach Mike Dunlap is going to continue to give him quality minutes at both the four and five positions most nights, which should give Mullens plenty of chances to get his numbers. Consider him a low-end Fantasy option with some upside as we head into Fantasy Week 3 (Nov. 12-18).
News: Bobcats center Byron Mullens had a quiet performance during Friday's season opener against the Pacers. Mullens missed all six of his three-point attempts but finished with six points and seven rebounds in a 90-89 victory. He shot 3 of 10 from the floor and failed to get to the free-throw line in 31 minutes of game action. He also chipped in with two assists, two steals and two blocks without committing any turnovers.
Analysis: By the way Mullens was playing during the preseason, you would think he was ready for a breakout campaign. The 23-year-old had average 15 points, 7.8 rebounds and almost a block per game during the exhibition season. He'll likely see some solid minutes this year and his ability to shoot from downtown could make him a threat throughout the season. Fantasy owners should view him as a low-end Fantasy option in deeper formats moving forward.
News: Charlotte center Byron Mullens has been able to overcome a knee issue earlier in the preseason and has played the last two games for the Bobcats. Mullens played Friday and went 8 of 25 from the field to score 16 points and grab 19 rebounds. He added two steals and a block over 36 minutes.
Analysis: Mullens is averaging 15 points, 7.8 rebounds and almost a block per game this preseason over six contests and almost 30 minutes per night. He looks to be ready for a breakout year after starting 25 games last season and averaging 9.3 points and 5.0 rebounds. Mullens can hit the 3-pointer and can definitely board. He might immediately be worthy of usage in all Fantasy formats at a thin position.
News: Bobcats center Byron Mullens left Tuesday's preseason game against the Hornets in the fourth quarter due to a hyperextended knee. X-rays came back negative and he is expected to be re-evaluated Wednesday. Mullens led Charlotte with 14 points and also chipped in with six rebounds and two blocks before the early exit.
Analysis: Mullens proved to be productive in spurts in Fantasy last season and would become more valuable in larger formats if he can pick up his scoring. This injury should not keep him out for long but keep an eye on his status going forward just to be safe. Mullens can be targeted in deeper Fantasy formats on Draft Day as a low-end center option.
News: Bobcats center Byron Mullens turned in another big-time performance during Tuesday night's contest against the Raptors. Mullens, who made his second straight start at power forward, finished with 20 points and season-high 14 rebounds in the 92-87 defeat. He went 9 for 21 from the field and also added two blocks to his stat line, while logging 32 minutes of game action.
Analysis: Mullens has been inserted back into the starting lineup for the Bobcats and has delivered two straight 20-point performances since being moved back. Coach Paul Silas said he plans on starting the 23-year-old at power forward for the foreseeable future as Charlotte wants to see what some of its younger players can do. Fantasy owners looking for help at the forward and center spots, may want to take a flier on the 23-year-old in deeper formats while he seeing some extended over the final few weeks of the season.
News: The Bobcats decided to start center Byron Mullens at power forward on Saturday, and their decision paid off with Mullens going for 20 points and 10 rebounds in a 110-107 overtime loss to the Pistons. Mullens led the Bobcats in both categories on Saturday, shooting 8 of 14 from the field and adding a three-pointer. Mullens had a chance to tie the game at the end of overtime, however he just missed a contested three that would have sent the game to a second overtime period.
Analysis: Mullens has been playing better basketball of late, averaging 11.4 points and 7.2 rebounds per game over the last five, which helps explain why the team went with him next to the defensive-minded Bismack Biyombo. Mullens continues to flash a solid offensive game, and if you are in an emergency situation because of injuries, you could do worse than Mullens as a one-week flier for Week 15 (April 2-8), as he should be a mainstay in the starting lineup moving forward.
News: Charlotte center Byron Mullens had a solid performance during Monday's loss to Boston. Mullens scored 18 points off the bench on 8 of 18 shooting including a 3-pointer. Mullens, who played 33 minutes, grabbed seven rebounds and added two blocked shots in the loss for the Bobcats. Bobcats coach Paul Silas said Mullens will start seeing more minutes at power forward going forward.
Analysis: The 23-year-old Ohio State product can close in on a double-double per night when getting at least 25-30 minutes. Seeing as the Bobcats are terrible, they should probably just give him more consistent minutes. Until that happens, however -- he's only averaging 20 per game over his last five -- Mullens' Fantasy value is going to remain on the low-end side in deeper formats.
News: Charlotte center Byron Mullens came off the bench for a mediocre performance on Monday night in a blowout loss to Philadelphia. Mullens played 22 minutes off the bench and scored just four points on 2 of 8 from the field. Mullens added just one rebound in the performance, though he did create three steals with one blocked shot. Mullens also had two assists.
Analysis: Mullens shows potential at times for the Bobcats, but is averaging just 5.2 points and 2.2 rebounds per game over his last five. Playing under 15 minutes per game recently, Mullens only has low-end Fantasy value.
News: Charlotte center Byron Mullens scored 16 points on Wednesday night against Utah off the bench for the Bobcats. More impressively though was his career-high five blocks. Mullens added five boards in his 25 minutes of action. He big man shot 8 for 15 from the field in Charlotte's 99-93 loss.
Analysis: Mullens has been coming off the bench again for the Bobcats, despite working his way into the starting lineup earlier this season. Over his last five games he's averaging 8.0 points, 5.2 boards and 1.8 blocks per outing in around 20 minutes of action. Fantasy owners should view Mullens as a low-end center option at this stage of the season.
News: Bobcats center Byron Mullens had another poor showing on Wednesday night against the Pistons. After missing the previous contest due to an illness, he managed just two points in 14 minutes on the court in the 109-94 loss. He went 1 for 3 from the field and posted two rebounds with an assist.
Analysis: Mullens is averaging just two points with 2.3 rebounds in his last four contests and is seeing fewer than 20 minutes off the bench of late. He showed earlier in the year that he can be a low-end option in Fantasy when playing well but he is not providing owners with much these days. Even at a thin position in Fantasy, leave Mullens reserved in all formats at this point.
News: Bobcats center Bryon Mullens returned to practice on Monday after missing Charlotte's last game due to an illness., reports the Charlotte Observer. Mullens is being considered probable for Wednesday's contest against the Pistons.
Analysis: Mullens broke out earlier this year and earned himself a starting gig for the Bobcats, but has fallen off the map since. He is averaging 5.8 points and 4.0 boards per game over his last five outings, so consider him merely a low-end option in deeper formats, when healthy.
News: Charlotte center Byron Mullens had to sit out Wednesday outing versus Indiana with an illness. The big man saw just eight minutes of action in his last outing but was plagued with foul s trouble.
Analysis: Mullens broke out earlier this year and earned himself a starting gig for the Bobcats. He's averaging 5.8 points and 4.0 boards per game over his last five outings. When he's playing well Mullens holds some Fantasy value, but for now he's better off staying on your bench.
News: Bobcats center Byron Mullens was once again not much of a factor during Friday night's contest against the Raptors. Mullens finished with just four points in the 98-91 victory, on 1 of 3 shooting from the field. He went 2 for 2 from the free-throw line and also chipped in with six rebounds and one assist, while logging 14 minutes off the bench.
Analysis: Mullens continues to struggle coming off the bench for Charlotte, as he has failed to score in two of his last five contests. He is averaging just 5.4 points over that stretch and is shooting 28 percent from the field. While Mullens has proved that he can be contribute when given ample minutes, owners should leave him reserved until he starts producing again. Leave him on the bench heading into Fantasy Week 9 (Feb. 20-26).
News: Charlotte C Byron Mullens registered 10 points and four rebounds during the Bobcats' 111-86 loss to the Clippers on Saturday night. Mullens connected on 4 of 7 attempts from the field and went 2 for 4 at the free-throw line to hit double digits in scoring for the third time in five games this month. His 57.1 field-goal percentage was his highest mark since Jan. 28 against Washington (58.8) as he managed 20 minutes of playing time.
Analysis: Mullens was held scoreless for the first time this season in his previous game against Chicago, but was able to contribute off the bench for Charlotte on Saturday. He has shuffled in and out of the starting lineup for most of the year and is currently in a reserve role where he is averaging 17.5 minutes per game in his past five outings. Consider him a low-end No. 3 Fantasy C in deeper formats while he improves his consistency.
News: Charlotte C Byron Mullens played well in 26 minutes off the bench on Tuesday night during a loss to the Boston Celtics. Mullens shot 5 for 11 from the field in the game to score 11 points as he was only one of two players in double figures off the bench for the Bobcats. Mullens grabbed six rebounds and added two steals in the game.
Analysis: Mullens has been sporadically scoring in double figures as he has topped single digits in three of his last five games. He's averaging 10.2 points per game over that span to go with 3.2 rebounds. The Bobcats have moved him back to the bench but if he can continue to score in double figures, he could regain his starting role. Keep an eye on his progress and continue to view Mullens as a low-end Fantasy C.
News: After scoring just four points his last time out, Bobcats C Byron Mullens had a better showing on Wednesday against Portland. He finished with 10 points and two rebounds in the 112-68 loss. He went 5 for 9 from the field while playing 20 minutes off the bench. Mullens also chipped in with two assists, two blocks and a steal in the defeat.
Analysis: Mullens has been very spotty with his production of late and his rebounding has all but dried up. He is averaging 9.2 points with 1.8 boards in his last five contests, and is shooting 47 percent over that span. The Bobcats have moved him back to the bench but if he can continue to score in double figures, he could regain his starting role. Keep an eye on his progress and continue to view Mullens as a low-end Fantasy C.
News: Charlotte C Byron Mullens scored a career-high 23 points during the Bobcats' 102-99 loss to Washington on Saturday night. Mullens, who played off the bench again, drained 10 of his 17 attempts from the field to pace both teams in scoring while logging 31 minutes of playing time. It was the second straight game Mullens played in a reserve role as he was replaced in the starting lineup on Friday in favor of C DeSagana Diop.
Analysis: The Bobcats might have to reconsider their choice for the starting center. Diop, known mainly for his defense, finished with one point in just 17 minutes as Mullens looked sharp following a lowly performance on Friday night against Philadelphia (four points). Mullens will have to build confidence in coach Paul Silas in order to return to the starting lineup and Saturday's showing certainly helped. Fantasy owners should monitor the Bobcats' rotation while considering Mullens a low-end reserve option in most formats for now.
News: In the wake of a hand injury and some recent struggles, the Bobcats have decided to move Byron Mullens to the bench. He responded with a very uninvolved performance on Friday against Philadelphia, scoring just four points and grabbing a single rebound in 16 minutes as the Bobcats lost 89-72 to the 76ers. It was Mullens fourth straight game without reaching double figures in scoring.
Analysis: Mullens did not make a very convincing argument for his insertion back into the starting lineup, but luckily for him, neither did any of the other options in the middle for the Bobcats; the team struggled across the board. He is unlikely to return to the starting lineup if his recent poor play continues, and coach Paul Silas has obviously lost confidence in him. Mullens had emerged as a useful Fantasy option, but has just as quickly returned to irrelevance. He should be used as nothing more than depth in most Fantasy formats right now.
News: Bobcats C Byron Mullens will play in a reserve role beginning Friday night against Philadelphia, according to the Charlotte Observer. Coach Paul Silas wanted to shake up the lineup because of Mullens' hand injury and to get the larger DeSagana Diop in the starting five.
Analysis: Mullens is listed as questionable for Friday's game at Philadelphia after X-rays on his hand returned negative following Wednesday's injury. The removal from the starting lineup will certainly affect his minutes, but his production had been slipping anyway. The 22-year-old has netted just 13 total points over his past three games combined. Fantasy owners should consider him a declining No. 2 Fantasy C for now.
News: Bobcats coach Paul Silas said Thursday that center Byron Mullens possibly could play Friday against the 76ers. Mullens hurt his hand Wednesday, but X-rays came back negative.
Analysis: It seemed Wednesday night that Mullens wasn't going to miss any time, but it seems the Bobcats could be cautious here and keep him out. After a good run of games that forced him into the starting lineup, Mullens has cooled off and is starting to lose playing time to Bismack Biyombo at center. We hope Mullens can get back on track because we have seen how well he can perform with the Bobcats. He is more of a No. 2 Fantasy center when healthy.
News: Bobcats C Byron Mullens left Wednesday's game against the Wizards due to a hand injury but was able to return after undergoing X-rays. The X-rays came back negative, and Mullens finished with five points in the 92-75 loss. He went 1 for 6 from the floor and made 3 of 4 free throws while playing 18 minutes. Mullens also posted one steal and an assist in the defeat.
Analysis: Mullens has been diagnosed with a right hand contusion and is expected to be fine going forward. But after a some solid performances earlier in the year, the 22-year-old has hit a bit of a wall. He is averaging just 7.6 points with 3.4 rebounds in his last five contests, and is shooting 37 percent over that span. He might see his playing time take a hit if he does not step things up so keep an eye on his progress going forward. But seeing how he plays at a relatively thin position, Mullens still holds value in deeper Fantasy formats.
News: Charlotte center Byron Mullens had been playing extremely well for the Bobcats, even earning the starting center gig. But recently his production has taken a dip. He's scored more than 10 points just once over his last five games. Mullens shot 3 for 8 form the floor on Tuesday night, finishing with six points. He added five boards, three blocks, a steal and an assist. The Bobcats ended up losing the game, 111-78 to the Knicks.
Analysis: Mullens is getting the most run of his young NBA career this season, so perhaps conditioning is also contributing to his recent dip. While he's still averaging 8.4 points and 5.8 boards over his last five, that is not good enough to warrant as much Fantasy attention as he was a few weeks ago. But seeing how he plays at a relatively thin position, Mullens still holds value in deeper Fantasy formats.
News: Charlotte C Byron Mullens started and played well on Monday during a loss against Cleveland. Mullens scored nine points in the loss on 3 of 11 shooting, but grabbed 12 rebounds. He hit a 3-pointer and added an assist and steal over 36 minutes.
Analysis: The former Ohio State standout has taken a few years to find a place in the NBA, but he is in the midst of a breakout with the Bobcats. He is picking up his rebounding of late and is averaging almost 17 points and eight boards over his last five contests. As long as he's playing at that high a level, Mullens can be starting in plenty of deeper Fantasy formats.
News: Bobcats C Byron Mullens made the most of the first opportunity of his career to start on Thursday, scoring a season and team-high 21 points as the Bobcats lost 111-81 to the Hawks. Mullens, who has scored in double figures in eight of the Bobcats 11 games, shot eight-of-16 from the field and five-of-six from the free throw line in a season-high 33 minutes. He only grabbed four rebounds and didnt accrue any other stats in the game.
Analysis: The former Ohio State standout has taken a few years to find a place in the NBA, but he is in the midst of a breakout with the Bobcats. While he doesnt rebound terribly well for a center, he is scoring 11.9 points per game on 49.5 percent shooting in just 20.5 minutes per game. If he can up his rebounding average from 4.6 per game in extended playing time, he could emerge as a legitimate starting Fantasy option in all formats, but as things stand, he has still become a useful low-end Fantasy center now that he is starting.
News: Bobcats head coach Paul Silas told the media Thursday morning that Byron Mullens will start at center on Thursday against the Hawks. DeSagana Diop has started the last few games at center for Charlotte.
Analysis: It's not surprising that Silas is going to give Mullens a shot to see what he can do with more minutes. Mullens is averaging a career-high 11.0 points this season, and he is also getting better on the boards. He has 10 or more rebounds in two of his last three games. It's taken the former OSU standout a few seasons to adjust to the NBA, but now that he is with a new team and gets a fresh start, Mullens seems to be emerging on the NBA scene. If you need help at center, then consider taking a flier on Mullens.
News: Charlotte center Byron Mullens led his team in points -- 15 -- and rebounds -- 10 -- on Tuesday night against Houston. Mullens did so in 26 minutes off the bench for the Bobcats. He shot 5-of-11 from the field and converted 5 of his 6 freebies at the charity stripe. He added a steal, a block and an assist in his team's 82-70 loss.
Analysis: Mullens is having a career season and it's still just 10 games old. He continues to provide a boost off the bench for the Bobcats, but one has to think he's going to play his way into the starting lineup sooner than later. Fantasy owners in deeper formats might as well take a flier on Mullens as big men that contribute are hard to come by.
News: Charlotte center Byron Mullens did it again on Friday night -- he set a new career high. Mullens scored 17 points on an 8-for13 shooting performance and connecting on his lone foul shot. He added five rebounds and a block in his 24 minutes on the court. The Bobcats would go on to lose to the Hawks in overtime, 102-96, despite Mullens efforts.
Analysis: Over his last five games Mullens is averaging 13 points and 3.8 rebounds per outing. He's shooting 53.8 percent over that span as well. He has set career highs in four of last five games for the Bobcats. If he can continue to produce in 20 minute a game, Charlotte will likely give him more minutes as they are thin on the frontcourt. Fantasy owners should keep an eye on Mullens as he could develop into a nice waiver-wire addition this season. Owners in deeper leagues can feel free to take a flier on him in the early stages of the season.
News: Charlotte C Byron Mullens had another outstanding game on Wednesday in a victory at New York. Mullens recorded another career-high in scoring with 16 points on 6 of 8 from the field over 20 minutes. Mullens, who just set a career high with 14 points on Tuesday against Cleveland, added five rebounds in the win over the Knicks.
Analysis: Mullens has set career highs in three of his last four games as the Bobcats have needed his services with Tyrus Thomas injured. Charlotte should give him an extended look and Fantasy owners might consider doing the same, at least in deeper formats. He's certainly proven he can score. If he starts rebounding, watch out.
News: For the second time this season, Bobcats C Byron Mullens scored at least 10 points, this time adding 12 on six-of-12 shooting in 16 minutes as the Bobcats lost 100-79 to Orlando.
Analysis: The third-year center out of Ohio State had scored in double figures just once in his career prior to being traded to the Bobcats just prior to the start of the season. The move to Charlotte has certainly been a good one for him, as hes averaging 15.0 minutes-per game with them after averaging 6.5 minutes-per game in 13 games last season. He is averaging 9.3 points per game through three games, but he does not get enough playing time to warrant a roster spot for Fantasy owners right now.
News: Oklahoma City traded seldom-used C Byron Mullens to Charlotte on Monday in exchange for the Bobcats' second-round pick in the 2013 NBA Draft and cash considerations. Mullens, the 24th overall selection by Dallas in the 2009 draft, averaged only 6.5 minutes per game last year.
Analysis: With Charlotte big men Eduardo Najera and DeSagana Diop questionable to be healthy for the start of the regular season, the Bobcats needed to add some depth in the paint. Mullens appeared in 13 games during each of his two seasons with the Thunder and is a better contributor on the boards than scoring. Still, he doesn't produce sufficient stats to be considered a worthwhile Fantasy option for the upcoming season.
News: The Thunder have picked up the option year on the contracts of Serge Ibaka, James Harden, Eric Maynor, Byron Mullens and Cole Aldrich, keeping them all with the franchise for two more seasons. GM Sam Presti announced the moves Tuesday, extending the contracts through the 2012-13 season.
Analysis: Mullens has minimal Fantasy value heading into 2011-12. Ignore him in all leagues on Draft Day.
News: The Thunder have recalled center Byron Mullens from Tulsa of the NBA Development League the team announced on Sunday. Mullens is averaging 1.2 points and 1.6 rebounds in 12 games with Oklahoma City this season.
Analysis: Mullens was brought up to provide some depth at the center position for the Thunder. Still, with a now healthy Kendrick Perkins and an ever improving Serge Ibaka lurking in the paint, minutes will most likely be hard to come by for the former Ohio State Buckeye. He can be ignored in all formats at this point.
News:The Oklahoman reports the Thunder sent center Byron Mullens back down to the Tulsa 66ers of the NBA Development League Thursday. This is his third stint with the 66ers. In his first two trips down, Mullens averaged 16.7 points per game to go along with 8.2 rebounds and extended playing time.
Analysis: Mullens has had some success with the Sixers, and he will have a chance to build on it as the season winds down. With Kendrick Perkins set to return soon, there is just not enough space on the bench for Mullens. Fantasy owners should avoid him in all formats moving forward.
News: Oklahoma City recalled center Byron Mullens from Tulsa of the NBA Development League on Friday to help boost a roster that has been depleted by trades, according to the Oklahoman. Mullens, a second-year center from Ohio State, will join the Thunder for Friday's game against Orlando.
Analysis: Mullens, who was sent back to the Development League earlier this month, has seen limited action this season. His recall likely serves as a temporary move as Oklahoma City awaits newly-acquired players from Thursday's NBA trade deadline. He's averaging just 1.3 points and 1.6 rebounds and should be ignored in all Fantasy formats.
News: Oklahoma City sent second-year center Byron Mullens to the NBA Development Leagues on Thursday. This moves comes one day after the Thunder recalled rookie center Cole Aldrich from the Tulsa 66ers.
Analysis: Mullens has seen action in just 12 games this year for the Thunder. He's averaging just 1.2 points and 1.6 rebounds per game, while shooting a dismal 26.3 percent from the field. Fantasy owners can continue to ignore Mullens as he's not worth owning in any format.
News: Thunder C Byron Mullens was recalled from the NBA Development League prior to Sunday's game against the Cavaliers and played the final 7:26, compiling five points and five rebounds -- more than his season totals in both categories.
Analysis: Mullens had just three points and two rebounds in five games before being sent to the D-League so it was nice to see him being productive on Sunday. But he still has a long way to go before becoming a viable Fantasy option so continue to ignore the 21-year-old in all leagues heading into Week 8 (Dec. 13-19).
News: The Oklahoma City Thunder have assigned second-year center Byron Mullens to their Tulsa affiliate in the NBA Development League. Mullens has played a total of 14 minutes in five games this season for the Thunder, who recently recalled rookie center Cole Aldrich from the D-League. Mullens, the 24th overall pick in the 2009 draft, played 27 games in the minors last season. He's expected to report to Tulsa in time for a game Friday night at Sioux Falls.
Analysis: Mullens isn't a big contributor for the Thunder -- hence him being sent to the D-League. Even when he's in the NBA, he isn't worth owning in the majority of Fantasy leagues. Continue to ignore him.
News: The Oklahoma City Thunder have exercised their contract options for six players, including starting point guard Russell Westbrook. The Thunder announced Monday that they picked up the fourth-year option on Westbrook and forward D.J. White and the third-year option for guards James Harden and Eric Maynor, forward Serge Ibaka and center Byron Mullens. The moves would allow Oklahoma City to keep all six of the players through the end of the 2011-12 season.
Analysis: Mullens, out of Ohio State, played 13 games with the Thunder last season. He averaged 4.2 minutes per game and scored 1.1 points with 0.8 rebounds. He has low-end value in Fantasy and should not be on rosters at this time.
News: Thunder C Byron Mullens played in just one game during the team's six-game series loss to the Lakers in the first round of the NBA playoffs. He played four minutes.
Analysis: Mullens, ironically, averaged just 4.2 minutes per game during 13 appearances during the regular season. He is a 21-year-old seven-footer with raw ability, but won't be worthy anything in Fantasy until he can find himself playing significant minutes.
News: The Oklahoma City Thunder have assigned rookie center Byron Mullens and guard Kyle Weaver to the Tulsa 66ers of the NBA Development League.
Analysis: Mullens was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks with the 24th pick in this year's draft before Oklahoma City acquired him that night in a trade. He has yet to play in a game this season and has no Fantasy appeal.
News: The Thunder have signed guard James Harden, center Byron Mullens and forward Serge Ibaka. Terms of the deals were not disclosed Saturday.
Analysis: Harden, the third overall pick in the draft, was a first-team All-American and the Pac-10 player of the year after averaging 20.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 4.2 assists during his sophomore season at Arizona State. He can earn about $4 million as a rookie. He'll be worth taking a stab at in the later rounds as a sleeper who could be ready to produce in a significant way in the 2009-2010 season. Mullens was the sixth man of the year in the Big Ten. Ibaka spent this past season playing professionally with Ricoh Manresa of the Spanish ACB League. Mullens and Ibaka won't likely be worth taking on Draft Day.
News: The Mavericks selected B.J. Mullens with the 24th pick in the NBA Draft Thursday. His rights were then traded to Oklahoma City.
Analysis: Mullens is a seven footer who declared as an early-entry candidate after one season at Ohio State where he averaged 8.8 points and 4.7 rebounds. He is not expected to have much Fantasy value.
