Dante Cunningham arrested a second time on Sunday

by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(4/7/2014) Timberwolves forward Dante Cunningham was arrested a second time on Sunday, this time on "suspicion of terrorist threats," Sports Illustrated reports.

Cunningham was arrested on alleged domestic abuse charges on Friday but managed to be starting lineup Saturday against the Magic. Cunningham's legal issues are unlikely to be resolved until at least the offseason, so he will likely not face discipline from the league.

"The situation with Dante Cunningham is very fluid and we continue to monitor all available information," the team said in a statement. "We reiterate that the Minnesota Timberwolves do not condone the behavior described in the accusations. We continue to wait for the legal process to run its course and will have further comment when appropriate."

Cunningham's legal issues are unlikely to be resolved until at least the offseason, so he will likely not face discipline from the league. He has appeared in 75 games, averaging 6.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per game.

Timberwolves backup bigs doing little

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
