News: Wizards forward Trevor Booker was back on the floor Tuesday against the Raptors, after leaving the team's previous game with a bruised tailbone. Booker played seven minutes in the game, scoring two points on 1 of 2 shooting. He added a pair of rebounds, in a 120-99 loss.
Analysis: Booker has been largely a nonfactor this season due to injuries, so his return does not mean much. He is averaging 5.0 points per game in 45 appearances this season, and can be ignored in most Fantasy formats heading into the final games of the season.
News: Wizards forward Trevor Booker was forced to leave Sunday's contest against the Celtics with a bruised tailbone. Booker sustained the injury during the first half of the 107-96 defeat and was unable to return. He finished with two points and five rebounds prior to leaving the contest and is being listed as day to day.
Analysis: Booker has only appeared in 44 games this season due to injuries and it sounds like his latest ailment could keep him sidelined for a few more tilts. However, that shouldn't matter much to Fantasy owners as Booker is averaging just 5.0 points and 4.8 rebounds on the year. At this late stage in the season, Booker does not hold much Fantasy value, even when healthy.
News: Wizards forward Trevor Booker was once again not much of a factor during Tuesday's contest against the Bulls. Booker finished with two points in the 90-86 win on 1 of 3 shooting from the field. He missed both of his free-throw attempts and also added three rebounds, two assists and one steal to his stat line, while logging 21 minutes off the bench.
Analysis: Booker was expected to play a large role for the Wizards this season, but it has taken him longer than expected to work his way back in coach Randy Wittman's rotation as he has missed 34 games on the year thus far due to injuries. While the 25-year-old continues to see around 20-25 minutes off the bench most nights, he is averaging just 5.8 points and 6.8 rebounds over his previous 10 games. At this point in the season, Booker should not be owned in the majority of formats.
News: Wizards forward Trevor Booker turned in another solid effort on the glass during Friday's contest against the Hornets. Booker pulled down a season-high 13 rebounds in the 97-86 win, with five of those coming on the offensive end. He also added one block to his stat line to go along with three points on 1 of 3 shooting from the field.
Analysis: Booker had some lofty expectations -- for his standards -- entering the season, but a knee and wrist injury have forced him to miss 36 of Washington's 66 games on the year thus far. However, he is now healthy and starting to slowly work his way in coach Randy Wittman's rotation. Fantasy owners should keep an eye on his stat lines over the next few games. Booker could end up being a nice late-season pickup off the waiver wire if he continues to produce.
News: Washington power forward Trevor Booker (wrist) was available off the bench on Monday against the Clippers, reported the team's official site. Booker did not come off the bench, however, due to a coach's decision. Booker missed Saturday's game against the Spurs with the injury but is now available to play for the Wizards going forward.
Analysis: Booker has played just eight minutes in each of his last two games played for the Wizards. The 25-year-old isn't seeing much run lately and has low-end Fantasy value in all leagues.
News: Wizards forward Trevor Booker was held out of Saturday's contest against the Spurs due to a sore left wrist injury, according to the team's official website. Booker is listed as day to day with the injury.
Analysis: Booker has been held out two of the last three games and has only averaged 4.9 points and 4.8 rebounds this season. We'll continue to keep an eye on his status moving forward. He is a marginal contributor and is not expected to see many minutes, even when healthy. Booker has marginal value in the deepest of Fantasy formats when he returns to action.
News: Washington power forward Trevor Booker has accomplished little in his last three games since returning from an injury. Booker scored three points and grabbed one rebound over 10 minutes on Monday in a win at Portland.
Analysis: Booker has scored a grand total of nine points in his three games since returning to action. He's not seeing many minutes and he has low-end Fantasy value for as long as this continues.

He played 17 minutes in the game but scored just two points on 1 of 3 shooting. Booker did grab eight rebounds and one blocked shot in the game, a 112-108 win.
Analysis: Booker has been limited to just 11 games this season due to injuries, and there seems to be little room for him in the rotation consistently. Booker is averaging 6.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game on the season, and can be ignored outside of the deepest of Fantasy formats.
News: Washington power forward Trevor Booker was supposed to return to action on Wednesday at Sacramento after sitting out the previous game, but never got off the bench. Reports prior to the game said Booker was available, but he did not see minutes as a coach's decision. Booker missed Monday's game against Orlando with a sprained left ankle.
Analysis: Booker has played in just 10 games this season for Washington and is averaging just a meager 6.3 points with 5.2 rebounds. Fantasy owners could use production like that in deeper formats as long as he could remain healthy. That hasn't happened to this point, however, so Booker only has low-end Fantasy value.

Analysis: Booker has played just 10 games so far this season and is averaging a meager 6.3 points with 5.2 rebounds. Hopefully this injury will not keep him out as long as the previous one did so keep an eye on his status going forward. The 25-year-old proved last season to be a decent low-end option in Fantasy but leave Booker for the deepest of formats at this point.
News: Wizards forward Trevor Booker was able to play, as expected, Saturday against the Hawks, after being sidelined since Nov. 19 with a strained patella tendon. Booker came off the bench for the game and played just eight minutes, in a 93-83 win. He scored two points on one field-goal attempt, while grabbing two rebounds and blocking a pair of shots.
Analysis: Booker was averaging 6.8 points and 5.6 rebounds per game prior to the injury, however the Wizards frontcourt seems to have more depth right now, with the return of Nene. Booker will likely be the fourth big man in the rotation, and should be considered just a low-end Fantasy reserve for deeper formats.
News: Wizards forward Trevor Booker said he is slated to return for Saturday's game against Atlanta after being sidelined since Nov. 19 with a strained right patella tendon, the Washington Examiner reports. Booker has played in only nine games this season because of the knee issue and admitted Thursday he was experiencing pain in those outings. "It was a slight tear," Booker said. "I think I made it worse by playing on it, so I had to sit out and just let it heal."
Analysis: Booker also missed time during the preseason with a hamstring issue as injuries have crippled his brief NBA career. Prior to this year, he had missed at least 15 games in each of his first two seasons. "His time in the league has been marred by a lot of injuries," Wizards coach Randy Wittman said. "I think maybe, hopefully, he's learned some lessons through what he's gone through." Booker was averaging 6.8 points and 5.6 rebounds per game prior to his latest setback, and could be a worthwhile addition in deeper Fantasy formats upon his return.
News: Washington forward Trevor Booker, who is out with a strained knee, is targeting a return date of Jan. 12 for a game against Atlanta, reports the Washington Post Wednesday. Booker underwent PRP treatment on his knee in mid-December. Booker plans to return to practice next week.
Analysis: Booker was considered out indefinitely until this latest news. This is definitely a positive spin for the Wizards, who will get Booker back in a matter of days. Unfortunately, Booker will return to a crowded front court in Washington. The forward is averaging 6.8 points and 5.6 rebounds over nine games this season and was a helpful option in deep Fantasy formats before getting hurt.

I think it depends on how my body responds and how its healing.

News: Wizards power forward Trevor Booker is scheduled to undergo a PNP injection on his problematic right knee, according to the team's official website. Booker, who has been sidelined since Nov. 11 with his injury, is hoping to get back on the court sometime in January.
Analysis: Booker will have to stop working for a few days once he gets the injection, but should, be able to get back on the court shortly thereafter. Obviously, things can still change, so Fantasy owners should keep an eye on his status moving forward. Still, Booker was only averaging 8.1 points prior to his injury and should only be stashed in deeper formats at this point in the year.
News: Washington power forward Trevor Booker practiced Monday, though he was limited, reports the Washington Post. Wizards coach Randy Wittman would not speculate as to when Booker might return from his knee injury. Hes not done any contact stuff, Wittman said of Booker, who the Wizards picked No. 23 overall in the 2010 NBA draft. So again where does that translate into days? He did today get on the floor and do non-contact stuff.
Analysis: Booker is making slow progress for the Wizards but it sounds like he's still going to need some time. We'll continue to monitor his progress moving forward. Analysis: Booker has started seven of the Wizards' nine games this season and generated a scoring average of 8.1 points per game. But the talented 24-year-old has endured a cold stretch recently which has resulted in him coming off the bench the past two games and netting just four points combined in that span. Analysis: Booker has already one double-double and has scored more than 10 points in three games already this season. He has averaged a little over 23 minutes per game this season as he is looking for a bigger role on offense especially with Nene sidelined with an injury. He is not a big threat to deliver a double-double on a nightly basis and should be viewed as more of a low-end option in deeper formats at this point.
News: Wizards forward Trevor Booker bounced back from a poor showing in the season opener to post his first double-double of the season Saturday against the Celtics. Booker scored 11 points on 5 of 10 shooting, while grabbing 10 rebounds -- three offensive -- in 29 minutes. He added a block and a steal, while turning the ball over twice in an 89-86 loss.
Analysis: Booker averaged 8.4 points and 6.5 rebounds per game in 25.2 minutes last season, so he could probably approach close to double digits in both if given a bigger role. Booker is never going to be a nightly double-double threat, but the Wizards are in need of front-court depth right now, so hell have minutes. Booker has some upside, but he should remain more of a low-end Fantasy option in deeper formats.

Analysis: Booker is an intriguing Fantasy option for the first week of the season as he's starting with the Wizards dealing with injuries to Kevin Seraphin and Nene. Booker's value will go down once Washington gets healthy, but he could be a worthy off the bat after he averaged 9.7 points and 7.8 rebounds in 32 games as a starter last year.
News: Wizards forward Trevor Booker told the Washington Post that his injured left hamstring is getting better daily and he should be ready in a few days. Booker started to feel some soreness in his leg during the second practice last Friday and has been sidelined ever since. He did not play in Washington's preseason game against the Knicks Thursday. Its a little strain, Booker said. Its just tight right now, its not sore. So they say thats a good sign.
Analysis: Booker's injury is not being considered serious and he should be back on the floor well in time for the start of the regular season. The 24-year-old is expected to see major minutes at power forward this season, especially in the early going with Nene sidelined indefinitely with a case of plantar fasciitis. Booker emerged as a viable low-end option last season after he averaged a healthy 9.7 points and 7.8 rebounds in 32 games as a starter. Fantasy owners should keep an eye on his health over the next few weeks. Consider Booker worthy of a late-round pick in most formats on Draft Day.

He was starting to play better as the season went on, as well, averaging 10.5 points and 8.6 rebounds in 17 games after the All-Star break. Booker has now missed 13 straight games with his ailment. Im not sure if its going to happen this season, Booker told the Washington Post Im going to see how it feels in warm-ups today and go from there. Hopefully I dont have any pain. If I feel good, Im going to give it a go.
Analysis: Booker did try and give it a go in warmups, but he was still in too much pain to play. With only two games left on the schedule after Monday, it seems highly unlikely Booker will be able to make it back this season. The 24-year-old averaged a 8.3 points and 6.5 rebounds 50 games for the Wizards and had a nice run for Fantasy owners back in late February and early March. Fantasy owners should keep tabs on his status throughout the summer to make sure he will be at 100 percent at the start of next year. Booker could find himself as Washington's starting power forward next season, in which case he would be considered a solid low-end Fantasy option in the majority of formats heading into 2012-13.

Analysis: Booker is officially being considered day to day, so Fantasy owners in daily formats will have to continue and monitor his status moving forward. Booker can be considered a low-end option in deeper formats when healthy.
News: Both Nene and Trevor Booker are out again on Monday against the Bucks, after sustaining twin plantar fasciitis injuries on Friday. This is Bookers second game missed because of the injury.
Analysis: Booker remains day to day, however there havent been many updates regarding his status from the team. Analysis: Booker has been playing well recently, averaging almost a double-double per game in the month of March, however this injury keeps bothering him. At this point, he would be a solid, low-end Fantasy option when healthy, however you simply cannot rely on him until he is healthy, so continue to monitor his status.
News: After missing the teams game on Monday and practice on Wednesday, Wizards forward Trevor Booker was back on the floor on Thursday against the Pacers, and he was back to doing what he does best in the game, as he did not do much scoring, but did the dirty work in grabbing 11 rebounds. Analysis: Booker had been struggling to produce of late, but was able to get himself back on track against the Bucks. The 24-year-old saw a few extra minutes with JaVale McGee getting benched and took full advantage, notching his second double-double of the season. Hopefully his latest effort can get him going moving forward, but owners should continue to view Booker as merely a low-end option, until he proves otherwise.
News: Wizards forward Trevor Booker continued his recent scoring struggles on Friday night against the Jazz. He finished with just four points and four rebounds in the 114-100 loss. He went 1 for 5 from the field and made 2 of 4 free throws while playing 26 minutes. Booker also posted two steals and an assist in the defeat.
Analysis: Booker continues to start with Andray Blatche out but his production has been lacking of late. He is averaging 8.2 points with eight rebounds in his last five contests, and is shooting 46 percent over that span. JaVale McGee has been supplying the scoring in the low post for Washington recently and the 24-year-old has not been able to get his numbers. Keep an eye on his progress and continue to view Booker as more of a low-end option in Fantasy at this point.
News: Wizards F Trevor Booker was able to notch his first double-double of the season during Friday night's contest against the Heat. Booker finished with 13 points and a season-high 15 rebounds in the 106-89 victory, on 6 of 13 shooting from the field. He went 1 of 2 from the free-throw line and also chipped in with four steals and one assist, while logging 39 minutes of game action.
Analysis: Booker has started each of the last four games for the Wizards and has been taking advantage of his increased playing time. The 24-year-old has scored in double figures in each of his last three contests and is shooting 62 percent from the field over that stretch. Booker excelled last season when filling in for Blatche and looks to have secured his spot in the starting lineup for at least another few weeks. As long as he can maintain his current production, Booker can be considered a more than viable Fantasy F in the majority of formats heading into Week 8 (Feb. 13-19).
News: Wizards F Trevor Booker was able to find his scoring stroke during Monday night's contest against the Raptors. Booker, who continues to start for the injured Andray Blatche, finished with a season-high 19 points in the 111-108 victory, on 7 of 10 shooting from the field. He went 5 of 6 from the free-throw line and also chipped in with four rebounds, three blocks, three steals and an assist, while logging 43 minutes of game action.
Analysis: Booker earned his second straight start on Monday night and arguable turned in his best performance of the season against Toronto. However, this shouldn't come as much of a surprise for most Fantasy owners. Booker excelled last season when filling in for Blatche and looks to have secured his spot in the starting lineup for at least another few weeks. While the 24-year-old needs to be a bit more consistent on the boards, Fantasy owners seeking help at the forward position may want to scoop up Booker.
News: Wizards forward Trevor Booker saw 32 minutes of action in Friday night's blowout loss to the Raports, but made the most of his time on the court. He shot 6 for 11 from the field and went 1 for 2 a the foul line, finishing with 13 points. Booker got off the bench early with JaVale McGee getting into foul trouble. Booker also grabbed seven rebounds, two blocks and had two assists.
Analysis: Booker is making the most of his opportunity with Andray Blatche out of action for a few more weeks. Over his last five outings, Booker is averaging 10.6 points, 1.8 blocks and 6.6 boards per game. He's scored in double figures in three of the five outings as well, just missing a double-double twice. Fantasy owners in deeper formats can feel free giving Booker a look while Blatche is out. Also monitor this situation in Washington as Blatche has been mentioned in trade rumors again this year, which would keep Booker's value up.
News: Wizards F Trevor Booker just missed recording his first double-double of the season during Monday night's contest against the Bulls. Booker finished with 14 points and nine rebounds in the 98-88 defeat, on 7 of 9 shooting from the field. He did miss his only free-throw attempt in the loss, although he was able to add three steals, two blocks and a pair of assists to his stat line, while logging 26 minutes off the bench.
Analysis: With Andray Blatche expected to be sidelined for 3-5 weeks, Booker could be one to benefit the most from his absence. He has scored a combined 30 points over the two games that Blatche has been out, on 13 of 15 shooting from the field over that stretch. While Jan Vesely continues to start, Booker has still been seeing over 20 minutes per contest and was extremely productive last season when Blatche went down with an injury. Fantasy owners should keep an eye on his production and playing time over the next few games. If Booker continues to produce, owners should think about scooping up the 24-year-old heading into Fantasy Week 7 (Feb. 6-12).
News: Washington PF Trevor Booker responded to seeing more playing time on Saturday night at Charlotte. With the Wizards taking the victory, Booker saw 19 minutes off the bench with Andray Blatche still dealing with an injury. Although he didn't start, Booker went 6 of 6 from the field to score 16 points. He added three rebounds, one block and one steal in the performance for the Wizards.
Analysis: Booker only managed four points and five boards over 23 minutes in Friday's loss at Houston, however. Although given opportunities, Booker appears unable to consistently step up to the challenge. Booker only has low-end Fantasy appeal at this time.
News: Wizards F Trevor Booker was not much of a factor during Friday night's contest against the Rockets. Booker finished with just four points and five rebounds in the 103-76 victory, on 2 of 3 shooting from the field. He also added two blocks and a steal to his stat line, while logging 23 minutes off the bench.
Analysis: Booker has started five games for the Wizards this season, but has since been moved back to the bench. He is averaging just 2.6 points and 3.0 rebounds since being moved back to a reserve role, which isn't going to help many Fantasy owners. Unless he sees a major increase in production, owners can leave the 24-year-old on the bench moving forward.
News: Washington started PF Trevor Booker on Tuesday in a win over Toronto as they had Andray Blatche, the usual starter, coming off the bench. The Wizards could stick with that rotation after beating the Raptors for the team's first win of the season. Booker went 4 for 4 from the field over 32 minutes Tuesday to score eight points. He grabbed seven rebounds and had three steals and one block in the game. Blatche had nine points and eight boards in his time in the game.
Analysis: Booker may remain in the starting lineup after shooting 18 for 26 (69 percent) over his last four games and averaging in double figures over that span with around six rebounds and two blocks per game. If Booker can keep that up, he'd become a decent Fantasy option in the deeper category-based leagues. That said, we doubt he's going to remain this high in the rotation for an extended period with the Wizards just tinkering with the lineup.
News: Second-year Wizards F Trevor Booker hasnt had many opportunities to play extended minutes this season, but he got 20-plus minutes for the second-straight game on Friday night against the Knicks and scored eight points while grabbing seven rebounds and two assists in 21 minutes as the Wizards lost 96-99 to the Knicks. This performance came off an eight-point, six-rebound game against the Magic on Wednesday night.
Analysis: Booker has struggled to find a consistent role with the Wizards, averaging just 14.3 minutes per game in his second year. He showed flashes of potential in his rookie season before a foot injury ended it early, but thus far he has been unable to take the next step in his game. He has plenty of sleeper potential, but right now that potential hasnt awoken yet though it does seem to be stirring somewhat, so he should be kept on waivers in all Fantasy formats.
News: Wizards forward Trevor Booker, who missed the team's final 11 games because of a foot injury, announced via his Twitter account that he had the cast removed from his foot on Monday and is expected to be in a walking boot for three to four weeks. He is expected to make a full recovery. As a rookie, Booker made some noise late in the year when players ahead of him in the frontcourt went through some injuries of their own. In the month of March, when Booker saw nearly 30 minutes of playing time per game, he was a force down low averaging 10.3 points and 7.5 rebounds to close out the season. The Clemson product recorded four of his six double-doubles in the month, including a career-best 26 points and 13 rebounds March 18 against the Raptors.
Analysis: Booker didn't get a lot of playing time early in the season, but he stepped up mightily when bigs like Andray Blatche missed a string of games. The increase in production came as a bit of a surprise, considering Booker stands as a 6-foot-8 power forward. But his strength in the post and explosive athleticism made up for the height disadvantage and he made some consistent plays as the starting four. Booker then suffered the foot injury late in March, and would be shut down for the remainder of the season. Still, he flashed enough potential that should entice the Wizards to get him more involved next season depending on their roster situation. Fantasy owners should continue to monitor his progress over the offseason. If Booker can come back healthy and is able to play 20-plus minutes on a nightly basis, he could be a sleeper Fantasy option for the 2011-12 season.
News: Washington forward Trevor Booker, who missed the team's final 11 games because of a foot injury, is expected to make a full recovery heading into his second season in the NBA. As a rookie, he made some noise late in the year when players ahead of him in the frontcourt went through some injuries of their own. In the month of March, when Booker saw nearly 30 minutes of playing time per game, he was a force down low averaging 10.3 points and 7.5 rebounds to close out the season. If Booker is able to play 20-plus minutes on a nightly basis, he could be a sleeper Fantasy option for the 2011-12 season. Owners in deeper leagues should keep an eye on his progress, as the stout Booker may be worth a late round pick on Draft Day.
News: Washington forward Trevor Booker will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a fractured sesamoid bone in his right foot, according to several reports. Booker will be placed in a walking boot and re-evaluated in six weeks to determine if the promising rookie needs surgery. Booker hurt his foot in Washington's game against Denver last Friday and limped off the court.
Analysis: Booker is averaging 5.3 points and 3.9 rebounds this season, but increased those numbers dramatically when he replaced Andray Blatche in the starting lineup. The Clemson product had posted five games in double figures during the month of March after racking up five total in the first four months of the season. He can now be released in all annual Fantasy leagues.
News: The Wizards report Wednesday that forward Trevor Booker will not play Wednesday night against Miami and "might be out for the season." Booker has missed the past two games with a foot injury.
Analysis: Fantasy owners should keep an eye on what happens with Booker, but he should not be used in any leagues at this time. Hopefully he will return prior to the end of the season, but ignore him until he returns to the court and proves he is 100 percent healthy.
News: The Washington Post reports that Wizards forward Trevor Booker attempted to play Monday at Utah, but his injured right foot was still too tender for him to play. He will have an MRI on Tuesday, but coach Flip Saunders said the team is hopeful that Booker will be able to come back and possibly contribute when the Wizards host the Heat on Wednesday. Booker had averaged 11.4 points and 7.6 rebounds in eight starts in March before getting injured late in the fourth quarter in Denver. Its just real sore. The last couple of days, its been real sore to walk around, Booker said of his foot, adding that he was uncertain when he could come back. Well know more after the MRI.
Analysis: Keep Booker reserved in all leagues, and hopefully he can return prior to the end of the season. When healthy, he is a low-end Fantasy option in the majority of leagues, especially if Andray Blatche (shoulder) is able to play against Miami.
News: The Washington Post reports that Wizards forward Trevor Booker tried to get his injured foot ready for Monday's game against the Jazz, but ultimately could not, so he was unavailable. The team is hoping four days off will be enough to heal the issue before Wednesday's game against the Heat.
Analysis: Booker has now missed a pair of games with the issue, after limping off of the court in Friday's game against the Nuggets. All signs point to a Thursday return, so Fantasy owners in daily leagues should take advantage. Still, Booker is just a low-end option in the majority of formats when healthy. The rookie is playing the best basketball of the year, averaging about 10 points and seven rebounds per game in March.
News: The Washington Post reports Monday that Wizards forward Trevor Booker is in treatment and hopes to play Monday night at Utah. Booker missed Sunday's game at Golden State with a foot injury.
Analysis: Booker remains a risky option for Fantasy Week 23 since he's already missed one game with the injury and could suffer a setback. The Wizards have four games in this scoring period, but Booker should be considered a low-end Fantasy option in the majority of leagues.
News: Washington forward Trevor Booker (foot) missed the Wizards' game against Golden State on Sunday night and Wizards coach Flip Saunders was non-committal about Booker's timetable to return. "I dont know how long its going to be," he told The Washington Post. "Could be days, could be weeks, could be a month." Booker hurt his foot in Washington's game against Denver on Friday and limped off the court. X-rays came back negative.
Analysis: Booker had been taking advantage of an injury to starting power forward Andray Blatche to average 12.4 points and 7.6 rebounds in his last five games. He has also posted two double-doubles in that stretch, including Friday before leaving with the injury. Blatche's return this season is questionable so the Wizards would like to keep Booker in the lineup. Fantasy owners in all formats should keep track of his status as he makes for a decent injury-replacement -- if he's healthy himself.
News: The Washington Post reports that Trevor Booker will be listed as day-to-day by the Wizards. An X-ray revealed no fractures in his right foot after suffering an injury in Friday's game against Denver. Booker is considered questionable for Sunday night's game at Golden State. The Wizards did not practice on Saturday and did not have a morning shootaround on Sunday.
Analysis: Booker had 10 points and 10 rebounds on Friday with three blocks prior to getting hurt. He is averaging 12.4 points and 7.6 rebounds per game with Andray Blatche's injury being the reason for the increase in minutes and touches. Blatche's return remains questionable, at best, for the remainder of the season and Booker will have a chance at significant Fantasy appeal down the stretch if he can prove healthy. Monitor his progress on Sunday for any possible setbacks and continue to monitor the health of Blatche. The Wizards are slated for four games in Fantasy Week 23 (March 28-April 3).
News: Wizards F Trevor Booker left during Friday's 114-94 loss to the Nuggets with a foot injury. Booker sustained the injury during the fourth quarter of the defeat and did not return to the contest after limping off the court. He had X-rays taken after the game, although the results were not released by team. Booker finished with 10 points, 10 rebounds, three blocks, and two assists prior to leaving with the injury.
Analysis: The severity of Booker's injury was not released by the team after the game, so Fantasy owners will have to stay tuned for the latest update on his status. There is no reason to speculate at this point, but if this does turn out to be a serious injury, it could end the 23-year-old's season. Booker has been seeing more playing time over the final few weeks of the season and can be considered a solid low-end Fantasy option, when healthy.
News: With Andray Blatche still sidelined with a shoulder injury, Wizards F Trevor Booker yet again shouldered the inside load in Friday's game against the Raptors. He scored a career-high 26 points on efficient 12 of 15 shooting. Booker also matched a career-high with 13 rebounds on the night as well, with five on the offensive end. "He's great. A very athletic person who can rebound," Wizards guard John Wall. "He's showing that he can score around the basket and finish, so guys are getting out of his way."The rookie even assisted on three baskets in the loss to go along with a pair of steals and a block defensively in 36 minutes of playing time.
Analysis: Booker is a physical specimen, and he's using his wide frame to become better and better in the paint even though most power forwards and centers in the NBA stand much taller than the 6-8 rookie. Still, he is somewhat of a raw talent, though he is impressing mightily with an increased role. Booker sure hasn't packed it in despite playing on the lowly WIzards, and Fantasy owners should take advantage of his solid play. He's nearly averaging a double-double in his last handful of games, though his minutes have fluctuated a bit over the span. Booker could be a sleeper option for the remainder of the season if he continues to see significant playing time.
News: With Andray Blatche still sidelined with a shoulder injury, F Trevor Booker took full advantage of his extended minutes in Monday's 116-89 loss to the Thunder. Booker, who made his eighth start of the season in the contest, finished with 14 points on 4 of 11 shooting from the field. He also grabbed a career-high 13 rebounds to go along with two blocks, a steal and an assist while logging 41 minutes in the defeat. Booker is now averaging 9.9 points and 7.9 rebounds in his eight starts this season.
Analysis: Booker turned in another solid outing during his spot start on Monday and continues to prove he can be productive, when given quality minutes. The problem has been getting minutes when both JaVale McGee and Blatche are both healthy. The 23-year-old usually only sees around 20 minutes a game as a reserve and just hasn't been able to produce as much coming off the bench. Until he starts seeing more consistent minutes, Booker can be ignored in the majority of Fantasy formats at this point in the season.
News: Wizards forward Trevor Booker barely made it through a couple minutes of playing time in the first half before illness sent him to the locker room. The rookie forward came back to make some of the biggest plays in the game. Booker took some medicine and then played just about the entire fourth quarter, scoring six points in a crucial 1 1/2 minute span. "It was real tough," Booker said. "I didn't know if I was going to make it or not. Most of the minutes in the fourth quarter, I was hurting but I fought through it." Booker finished the night going 3 for 5 from the field and 1 for 2 at the charity stripe. He ended up with seven points and seven rebounds in 17 minutes of action. The rookie added a block, an assist and a steal for the Wizards. Washington went on to beat Minnesota, 103-96, on Saturday.
Analysis: Booker hasn't had a poor rookie year, but he's definitely being outshined by his teammate John Wall. Booker is averaging 5.9 points and 5.6 rebounds over his last 10 outings. He is shooting 59.5 percent and blocking 1.1 shots over that span as well. At this time he doesn't hold much Fantasy value, but is worth watching as owners start thinking about next year.
News: Washington forward Trevor Booker tied teammate John Wall with a game-high 21 points in the Wizards' 117-94 loss to Philadelphia on Wednesday night. Booker connected on a sparkling 9 of 10 from the field and 3 of 3 from the free-throw line to post his highest scoring total in the last 11 games. The rookie also pulled down five rebounds and had a block while playing 18 minutes for the Wizards, who lost their third straight game.
Analysis: Booker finally turned in the type of performance that made him a first-round pick in last year's NBA Draft. He had one of the best shooting outings of the season (90 percent) and nearly surpassed his point total in eight games this month combined (27). The Wizards could give the 6-foot-8 post force some more playing time as the season enters the second half. Still, Fantasy owners should leave him for deeper leagues until he averages more than 3.8 points and 3.0 rebounds per game.
News: Wizards center Trevor Booker's scoring troubles continued in Sunday's 115-100 win over the Cavaliers. Booker shot just 1 of 5 from the field in the contest and finished with two points in 17 minutes off the bench. He did grab eight rebounds in the victory and also added two blocks and steal to his statline as Washington earned it's first road victory of the season. Booker has failed to score in double figures in seven straight games.
Analysis: Booker grabbed everyone's attention when he posted two straight double-doubles in late January when JaVale McGee was out with the flu. The Wizards even left him in the starting lineup when McGee returned, but the honeymoon was short lived. He has now moved back to the bench and has been really struggling on offense of late. Booker is averaging just 3.2 points over his last five contests and hasn't scored in double figures since Jan. 29. While he can be a decent source for blocks and rebounds, his limited offense and minutes make him a tough player to start in the majority of Fantasy leagues. Leave him for the deeper formats, until he can produce with a bit more consistency.
News: Washington rookie Trevor Booker blocked a career-high six shots on Friday night against Orlando. He returned to the bench and JaVale McGee was inserted back into the starting lineup. Booker showed some hustle as he blocked one shot over his own teammate and another by running down Gilbert Arenas so he could swat the ball away. Booker shot 3 for 5 from the floor, finishing with six points. He also grabbed six rebounds and handed out one assist in his 24 minutes. The Wizards would lose to the Magic, 110-92.
Analysis: Despite coming off the bench, Booker played more minutes and was more productive than McGee. It seems the rookie may continue coming off the bench though, as he seems to do better in that role. In his previous two starts, Booker scored four points, had seven rebounds and blocked one shot. Fantasy owners in deeper formats should watch Booker as the season continues. He has potential, but until he shows some consistency he won't be worth using in many Fantasy leagues.
News: Wizards center Trevor Booker, who continues to start despite the return of JaVale McGee, was not much of a factor in Tuesday's 97-89 loss to the Hornets. Booker scored just four points in the victory on 2 of 3 shooting from the field. He also chipped in with four rebounds and a block while logging 14 minutes.
Analysis: Booker has remained the starting center for Washington, despite the return of McGee, however, has been logging reserve minutes over his last two games. Many anticipated a big boost for the rookie from Clemson when it was announced he would continue to start, but unfortunately that has not been the case. Unless he sees a major increase in production and minutes, Booker will not have much Fantasy value putting up the numbers he has over the last few games.
News: Washington PF Trevor Booker remained in the starting lineup for Monday's game in Dallas with JaVale McGee back from the flu. McGee came off the bench because coach Flip Saunders didn't want to mess with Booker after he's had back-to-back excellent performances. Booker, however, didn't perform all that well on Monday. He only played 11 minutes and didn't take a shot from the field. He missed his only two free throw attempts and failed to score altogether. He added three rebounds and had four personal fouls. McGee only played 13 minutes and scored two points with three boards and two blocks.
Analysis: Booker scored 21 points with 12 boards over 45 minutes at Oklahoma City on 9 of 11 shooting and followed that by scoring 12 points with another 12 rebounds on 5 of 8 shooting over 35 minutes at Memphis. Both of those games came with McGee out, however. Fantasy owners will want to see how Booker's numbers look now that McGee is healthy again and if Monday was any indication, they won't be great. The good news is that Booker is still starting, for now, at least. Booker could be worth some pickups in deeper Fantasy leagues if he continues to see minutes.
News: With JaVale McGee (flu) out of the lineup, Wizards rookie forward Trevor Booker started in Friday's double-overtime loss to the Thunder. He did all he could to help Washington try to win their first road game of the season, putting up a career-high 21 points on 9 of 11 shooting from the floor. Booker was strong on the glass as well, achieving another career-mark after hauling in 12 rebounds. He even fouled out for the first time in his young career, but played 45 minutes -- also the most he's seen as a pro.
Analysis: Booker certainly made the most of his opportunity to start, and ended up with a night he won't soon forget. The only thing that would have made it more unforgeable would have been a Wizards win. Still, Booker had his best game of the year, and even when McGee returns, the Clemson product may have bought himself some extra minutes off of the bench. If that ends up being the case, Booker might become a low-end Fantasy option. For now, leave him on the bench/waiver wire in most formats.
News: Center Trevor Booker continues to see limited playing time during his rookie season for the Wizards. Booker saw just six minutes in garbage time during Friday night's 97-77 win over the Nets. He missed both his shots from the field while failing to score in the contest. Booker has only appeared in three of his last five contests and is averaging 4.7 minutes over that stretch.
Analysis: Booker has shown flashes of his potential this season, but continues to see very limited minutes off the bench. He is averaging just 3.8 points and 2.4 rebounds on the season and should be ignored in the majority Fantasy leagues until he sees an increase in minutes and production.
News: Washington center Trevor Booker registered 11 points and nine rebounds in the Wizards' 97-89 loss at New Jersey on Thursday night. It was the second game in a row Booker has tallied nine rebounds and just the second game this season he has scored in double figures.
Analysis: Booker had one of his best outings of the season while making his second start in the last four games. The rookie out of Clemson posted his second highest scoring total of the season after shooting 2 of 8 from the field but also sinking 7 of his 8 shots from the free-throw line. Washington has too many scoring options to make Booker a worthwhile Fantasy play and he should be left on the waiver wire in all leagues.
News: Wizards F Trevor Booker got a chance to make his first start of the season on Wednesday night. he played 30 minutes, but attempted just two shots. He finished with four points and five rebounds. Booker had scored 14 points with four rebounds in 21 minuets off the bench on Tuesday against the Lakers.
Analysis: Booker got a chance to start with Andray Blatche out due to injury and JaVale McGee moved to the bench. We do not anticipate Booker getting many more chances to start this season and given how little he produced with such significant playing time on Wednesday, he is not a player we recommend adding in Fantasy.
News: Wizards rookie F Trevor Booker has seen limited action over the first two games of the season. Booker only played six minutes in the opener against Orlando and has limited two three minutes in Saturday's 99-95 loss to the Hawks. Booker failed to score against Atlanta, missing on his lone shot attempt.
Analysis: Booker is trying to find his niche with the Wizards, but appears to be buried at the end of the bench thus far. He has great size and was a force in the paint for Clemson, however, will most likely see very few minutes early in the season. Booker doesn't have much Fantasy value at this point, although he is a player Fantasy owners should monitor down the road as his minutes and production could increase later in the year.
News: Wizards rookie forward Trevor Booker logged almost 20 minutes in Thursday's preseason win over the Cavaliers. Booker shot 2 for 6 from the field for four points and grabbed four rebounds -- three offensive -- as well as dishing out three assists and getting two steals.
Analysis: Booker is trying to carve out a role in Washington, but the Wizards are trying to reinvent themselves after a messy 2009-10 season. Booker could be a contributor down the road for Washington, but as of right now Fantasy owners should not target him on Draft Day.
