(4/16/2012) The Raptors signed guard Ben Uzoh for the remainder of the season the team announced on Monday. Uzoh is averaging 9.0 points and 5.6 rebounds in three games as a starter.

(4/6/2012) The Raptors signed guard Ben Uzoh to a second 10-day contract the team announced on Friday. Uzoh is averaging 2.9 points, 2.1 assists and 2.0 rebounds over seven games with Toronto.

(3/28/2012) Newly-acquired Raptors guard Ben Uzoh scored his first points for the team on Wednesday against the Nuggets, finishing with five points on 2 of 4 shooting while also adding one assist, one steal and one rebound in 13 minutes as they defeated the Nuggets, 105-96.

(3/27/2012) The Toronto Raptors signed guard Ben Uzoh to a 10-day contract on Tuesday, the team announced. This is Uzoh’s second stint in the NBA this season. He signed a 10-day contract with Cleveland on Feb. 10. He spent last season with New Jersey after signing as a free agent. He averaged 3.8 points and 1.5 rebounds in 42 games.

(2/20/2012) The Cleveland Cavaliers did not extend guard Ben Uzoh another 10-day contract and he is now a free agent, according to the Akron Beacon-Journal. Udoh signed with the Cavaliers on Feb. 10, but appeared in just two games and scored a combined four points.

(4/11/2011) Nets guard Ben Uzoh, playing behind Jordan Farmar because of the injury situation, saw 17 minutes of playing time Monday against the Bobcats despite a knee issue of his own. He scored eight points on 4 of 7 shooting from the floor, and added a pair of assists and a rebound in the last-second loss to Charlotte. Uzoh didn't commit a single turnover, but he committed three fouls in the short time on the floor.

(4/11/2011) The team's official site reports that Nets guard Ben Uzoh, who left during Sunday's game against the Pistons with a knee injury, said he's ready to play Monday against the Bobcats. The team called the injury a bruised knee, and they consider him to still be a game-time decision.

(4/10/2011) Nets guard Ben Uzoh left during Sunday's game against the Pistons with a knee injury. Uzoh sustained the injury early in the fourth quarter when he slipped while playing defense and appeared to bang his right knee. He was able to walk off the court under his own power but did not return to the contest. The team announced Uzoh has been diagnosed with a bruised right knee and will be considered day to day. He finished with six points and a rebound prior to leaving with his injury.

(3/24/2011) The Newark Star-Ledger reports that the Nets will decide Friday if Deron Williams, who has missed the last three games to rest his sore right wrist, is fit to play against the Magic. If Williams plays, then he will start and Jordan Farmar will be the backup. If Williams -- who is meeting the team in Orlando on Friday morning -- does not play, then Farmar will start and rookie Ben Uzoh, who was recalled from the D-League on Wednesday, will back him up. Uzoh joined the team in Orlando on Thursday.

(3/15/2011) The Nets have assigned rookie point guard Ben Uzoh to their D-League affiliate, the Springfield Armor. Nets GM Billy King announced the move on Tuesday. Signed as a free agent, Uzoh played 32 games with the Nets, averaging 3.4 points and 1.4 assists.

(3/14/2011) The Nets announced that they intend to send guard Ben Uzoh to the Springfield Armor of the NBDL for a four-game stint. Coach Avery Johnson said he's hoping to get Uzoh down there to play a lot of minutes and improve. "I think they want to get me playing, just to showcase me & get me better, because I can’t get better if I don’t have game-like reps."

(2/27/2011) New Jersey guard Ben Uzoh registered a career-high 18 points and five rebounds in the Nets' 123-108 loss to Houston. The rarely-used guard knocked down an efficient 6 for 8 attempts from the field and was a perfect 6 for 6 at the free-throw line. It was only Uzoh's second game of the season with double digits and first since Jan. 8 against Milwaukee (11). He added two assists and a steal as New Jersey surrendered its second-highest point total of the season.

Uzoh could see a boost in minutes


(2/1/2011) Nets guard Ben Uzoh appeared in his third straight contest during Monday night's 115-99 win over the Nuggets. Uzoh logged 13 minutes in the victory and finished with six points and four assists on 1 of 3 shooting from the field. He made his lone attempt from behind the arc and also chipped in three rebounds and three steals.
