Donald Sloan away from team to handle personal issue

by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(3/14/2014) Pacers guard Donald Sloan is not with the team in Philadelphia on Friday and won't rejoin them until after the weekend due to personal reasons, according to the team's official website. Sloan is averaging only 1.4 points over 33 games.

Pacers reserves see some late run

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(1/16/2014) The Pacers cleared the bench Thursday, in a blowout win over the Knicks.

With the game clearly in hand, little-used reserves Chris Copeland, Donald Sloan, Orlando Johnson and Rasual Butler all saw playing time. Copeland was the most productive of the four, finishing with four points and four rebounds in five minutes of action, while Sloan and Johnson added two points apiece. Butler was scoreless on three field-goal attempts in five minutes.

The Pacers have a pretty set rotation, so these four rarely see the floor. Though all four have appeared in each of the last three games, none have played double-digit minutes in that span.

Sloan debuts in big, easy win

(1/11/2013) Hornets guard Donald Sloan appeared in his first game for the Hornets Friday, in a 104-92 win over the Timberwolves. Sloan failed to score in the game, but did dish out one assist in five minutes.
