Two candidates that seem to be on Fisher's short list are Lance Thomas and Langston Galloway

"To come in and do what they've done -- they've changed our team," Fisher said, per Newsday. "They've changed our culture because they're great young men. They come to work with the same attitude every day and the same mind-set, and despite our record this season, we're better off for having had them."

(3/22/2015) Knicks forward Lance Thomas scored 24 points on 9-of-12 shooting during Sunday's 106-89 loss to the Raptors on Sunday.

Thomas was also 2 of 2 from 3-point range and 4 of 6 from the free-throw line. He added two rebounds, one assist and one steal. It was his first time scoring 20 or more points in a game this season.

Thomas is averaging 6.8 points and 3.4 boards while shooting 41.0 percent from the field through 36 games this season.

Thomas signed a pair of 10-day contracts before New York locked him up for the remainder of the season late January. He is averaging 6.8 points and 3.4 rebounds in 34 games this season between New York and Oklahoma City.

(1/29/2015) Thunder coach Scott Brooks praised Knicks small forward Lance Thomas after New York's 100-92 win Wednesday, in which Thomas scored 17 points on 8 of 13 shooting.

''Lance plays hard. He plays every possession like it's Game 7 of a championship series.'' Brooks said after the game, per the Associated Press. ''That's why he's in the league and that's why he's going to play another 10 years. When you have guys like that, you win.''

Thomas, who signed a second 10-day contract with the Knicks last week, has scored 49 points in his last three games combined, making 23 of his 37 shots during that stretch. He played 22 games (13 starts) with the Thunder before joining the Knicks, averaging just 5.1 points on 35.7 percent shooting.

The Knicks will host the Hornets on Saturday.

(1/6/2015) The Nets and Thunder recently talked about a trade involving center Brook Lopez, according to ESPN reporter Ohm Youngmisuk. Thunder center Kendrick Perkins, forward Perry Jones and forward Lance Thomas were discussed as part of the deal headed to Brooklyn, but the Thunder chose not to make a trade because they liked how the trio has played as of late.

Thomas was dealt to the Knicks on Monday in a three-team trade involving New York, Oklahoma City and Cleveland.

NetsDaily.com confirmed through a league source the two sides had discussions, but the talks didn't advance to any formal offers.

(1/5/2015) The Cavaliers have officially sent shooting guard Dion Waiters to the Oklahoma City Thunder, the teams announced Monday.

In exchange for Waiters, the Thunder sent a protected first-round pick in the 2015 draft and Lance Thomas, who is averaging 5.1 points and 3.4 rebounds per game, to the New York Knicks. The Cavs received guards Iman Shumpert, who is averaging 9.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game, and J.R. Smith, who is averaging 10.9 points and 3.4 assists, in return while the Knicks acquired Lou Amundson and Alex Kirk.

Waiters is averaging 10.5 points and 2.2 assists in 33 games for Cleveland.


Arinze Onuaku, Lance Thomas waived by Pelicans

(11/12/2013) The New Orleans Pelicans waived forwards Arinze Onuaku and Lance Thomas Tuesday.

Onuaku played the first two games of the season before he was buried in the back-end of the rotation. He had three points and seven rebounds while logging 25 minutes of that span. Thomas only played 35 minutes with the Pelicans this season and totaled six points and six boards.

Thomas appeared in 59 games with the Hornets a year ago, averaging 2.5 points and 1.9 rebounds per game. Onuaku is a product of Syracus who has spent the last two seasons in the D-League. He averaged 12.6 points and 9.5 rebounds for the Canton Charge last season.
