Kings, Knicks agree to four-play trade

(8/6/2014) The Knicks and Kings pulled off a minor trade involving four players Thursday, USA Today reports.

The Kings will acquire guard Wayne Ellington and forward Jeremy Tyler in exchange for forwards Quincy Acy and Travis Outlaw, according to the report. The Kings will also receive a second-round pick in the 2016 draft.

The Kings are likely to waive Tyler, according to the report, and might not keep Ellington around for long either. The Knicks have opted to guarantee the $915,000 salary for Acy next season, while Outlaw enters the final season of a contract that will pay him $3 million for 2014-15. 


Quincy Acy garbs 13 boards in loss to Thunder

(3/29/2014) Kings forward Quincy Acy returned from an ankle injury on Friday, logging 30 minutes off the bench in a 94-81 loss to the Thunder.

Acy scored six points on 2 of 7 from the floor, including 0 of 1 from downtown, and 2 of 4 from the free throw line. He also added 13 rebounds, two assists and two steals. He's averaging 4.0 points and 8.5 rebounds over his last two appearances.

(2/11/2014) Kings forward Quincy Acy put together a solid effort Tuesday against the Cavaliers, as he has carved out a consistent role on his new team.

Acy played 15 minutes in the game and scored five points on 2 of 2 shooting. He added five rebounds and one assists, while turning the ball over once in a 109-99 loss.

Acy is averaging 16.7 minutes per game in the month of February, with 3.7 points and 5.2 rebounds per game.

(1/21/2014) The Kings got solid minutes from forward Quincy Acy Tuesday, though he did not light up the box score in the 114-97 win over the Pelicans.

Acy scored just 3 points on 1 of 4 shooting, and also went just 1 of 4 at the free-throw line. He added a season-high 10 rebounds in 23 minutes, while tossing in one assist and one block.

Acy has appeared in all but one of the team's games since being acquired from the Raptors. He is averaging just 3.2 points and 3.8 rebounds per game for the Kings. 


Kings acquire Quincy Acy, Aaron Gray in Rudy Gay trade

(12/8/2013) In addition to Rudy Gay, the Kings will acquire forward Quincy Acy and center Aaron Gray in a seven-player trade between the two teams.

Acy has played just 61 minutes over seven gamest his season, scoring 2.7 points and grabbing 2.1 rebounds per game. Gray has played just 20 minutes over four appearances with the Raptors this season, scoring five points and securing eight rebounds.
