Report: Arron Afflalo headed back to Denver

by Joe Polito | CBSSports.com
(6/26/2014) Orlando looks to be maneuvering for a roster overhaul, as Yahoo Sports reports that the Magic will send guard Arron Afflalo to the Nuggets in advance of Thursday's NBA Draft.

The deal is said to include Denver's Evan Fournier and a second round pick. This move is likely an attempt to clear space for flexibility needed in future deals.

Afflalo enjoyed a career-year in Orlando, averaging 18.2 points per game on the season. He played three seasons in Denver prior to arriving in Orlando. Afflalo also has a player option for the 2015-2016 season.

Evan Fournier does little with start

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(3/20/2014) Nuggets guard Evan Fournier got the start in Wilson Chandler's place Wednesday, but failed to make much of an impact in a 118-109 win over the Pistons.

Fournier played just 24 minutes despite earning the start, not far off what he usually gets off the bench. He scored 11 points on 5 of 9 shooting, but added just one rebound and one steal, while turning the ball over twice.

Fournier has taken a small step forward in his second season in the league, though it hasn't always been easy. He is averaging 7.7 points and 2.6 rebounds per game, while appearing in 62 of the team's first 68 games.
