Thunder G Jeremy Lamb delivers sharpshooting line vs. Jazz

(11/27/2014) Thunder guard Jeremy Lamb scored 21 points on 7 of 8 shooting, including 3 of 3 shooting from three-point range, in his team's 97-82 win over the Jazz Wednesday.

Lamb played just 24 minutes off the bench but nearly led the team in scoring in Wednesday's win, easily eclipsing his previous best of 58.8 percent shooting from the field. However, he did foul out in the game while also racking up four rebounds, three steals, two assists and one block. The Thunder snapped a six-game losing streak with the win, and they'll look to build upon Wednesday's success Friday against the Knicks.

(11/18/2014) Thunder shooting guard Jeremy Lamb scored a team-high 19 points in Tuesday's loss at Utah, but he shot 5 of 15 from the field. He's now 9 of 38 (23.6 percent) in three road games, compared to 25 of 50 (50 percent) in four road games.

Lamb, who had four rebounds and four assists Tuesday, visits the Nuggets on Wednesday.

(11/14/2014) Thunder guard Jeremy Lamb scored a season-high 24 points on 10 of 17 shooting, including 4 of 7 shooting from three-point range, while grabbing 10 rebounds in his team's 96-89 overtime loss to the Pistons Friday.

Lamb opened his season with back-to-back 17-point efforts before scoring a total of 10 points over his last two games, but he came back with a vengeance, racking up a season-high 10 rebounds while also posting a season-best scoring performance. He also added three assists and three steals in 45 minutes of action. Lamb will square off with the Rockets Sunday.

(11/7/2014) Thunder shooting guard Jeremy Lamb made his season debut Friday, scoring 17 points on 8 of 15 shooting and playing 41 minutes in his team's 91-89 loss to the Grizzlies.

Lamb was sidelined for the first five games of the season while recovering from a back injury, but his return to action helped alleviate some of the team's injury woes. Lamb made just one of his six three-point attempts while adding three rebounds and one block, which doubled as the only block of the game for the home team. The Thunder will hope for a better result Sunday against the Kings.

Lamb has missed the first five games of the season after tweaking his back during the preseason. The team has been starved for healthy players at the shooting-guard position, with four players on the shelf.

The Thunder have suffered numerous injuries and are in need of fresh players.

Lamb has not made his 2014-15 season debut. He averaged 8.5 points and 1.5 assists during the 2013-14 season.

(11/3/2014) Thunder point guard Reggie Jackson traveled with the team to New York and could be available to make his season debut against the Nets, per the Oklahoman. Coach Scott Brooks told reporters if Jackson is healthy to play, he'll start.

Meanwhile, shooting guard Jeremy Lamb did not accompany the team on their road trip and will likely miss Monday at Brooklyn and Tuesday at Toronto. His next opportunity to play will come Friday against Memphis.

Lamb injured his back and Jackson twisted his ankle and was on crutches following practice. The status of both players are know uncertain for the team's opener Wednesday at Portland.

(2/12/2014) Thunder guard Jeremy Lamb was stuck in a bit of a slump entering Tuesday's game against the Blazers, but broke out in a big way in a win.

Lamb played 31 minutes off the bench and could hardly miss. He shot 8 of 11 from the field for 19 points, and added five rebounds and two assists in the 98-95 win.

After barely playing as a rookie, lamb has put together a very strong sophomore season. He is averaging 9.9 points and 1.7 assists per game for the season.

(1/29/2014) Thunder guard Jeremy Lamb got hot from deep Wednesday and dropped 18 points in a 112-95 win over the Heat.

Lamb scored 18 in a season-high 35 minutes, his most playing time since he logged 40-plus minutes in last year's season finale. Lamb shot 7 of 10 from the field and added four 3-pointers, while also chipping in three rebounds and four assists in the win.

Lamb has been playing well recently, scoring at least 14 points in three of the last four games and averaging 14.0 points in that span. He has become a key member of the bench rotation after barely playing in his rookie season.

(1/24/2014) With Kevin Durant sidelined with a shoulder injury, Thunder guard Jeremy Lamb came off the bench and made his presence felt on Friday, scoring 19 points on 9 of 17 shooting, and 1 of 4 from behind the arc in his team's 101-83 victory over Boston.

Lamb's lone 3-pointer came from the right wing in the opening period. He did all of his damage in 30 minutes of game action, also adding six rebounds, three assists and two steals. He has averaged 11.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists over his last five games played.

Lamb scored just five points in 22 minutes, the sixth time in eight January games he has been held to single digits in scoring. He shot just 2 of 9 from the field and 1 of 6 from three-point range, while adding only one rebound in the game.

Lamb is averaging 9.3 points per game in the month of January, while shooting 33.3 percent from the floord.

(10/5/2013) Thunder guard Jeremy Lamb is expected to play a bigger role this season in the wake of Kevin Martin's departure, and that proved true in the team's first preseason action. 

Lamb played 31 minutes off the bench in an exhibition game against Fenerbahce Ulker in Turkey. Lamb scored nine points on 4 of 9 shooting, with one 3-pointer and four assists. He added two steals and two blocks, while turning the ball over three times in a 95-82 win.

Lamb is expected to be the sixth man for the Thunder this season.
