Report: Kings win the Quincy Miller sweepstakes

by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(1/17/2015) Former Nuggets forward Quincy Miller has been called up by the Sacramento Kings, according to Yahoo! Sports on Saturday.

Miller was currently playing for the Reno Bighorns in the 2015 NBA D-League Showcase in Santa Cruz. He averaged a NBDL-best 26.3 points per game for Reno.

Miller was initially scheduled to meet with the Clippers on Sunday before the Kings locked him up. The Thunder, Hawks and Pacers were also interested in his services. Miller averaged 4.9 points in 52 games last season for Denver.

Nuggets waive three to insure roster spot for F Alonzo Gee

by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com
(10/22/2014) The Nuggets have waived swingman Marcus Williams and forwards Quincy Miller and Jerrelle Benimon, which will result in fellow forward Alonzo Gee landing a roster spot for the regular season.

Gee had been a starter with Cleveland before losing substantial playing time last year. He has struggled throughout his career to make an offensive impact.

Shooting struggles continue for Quincy Miller Tuesday

by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(2/26/2014) Nuggets forward Quincy Miller had a night to forget for the second straight game Tuesday, scoring two points on just 1 of 8 shooting in his team's 100-95 loss to the Trail Blazers.

Miller's 1-for-8 performance was preceded by a 1-for-7 game Sunday, and he's failing to take advantage of his increased playing time, having played 20-plus minutes in back-to-back games for the first time since early January. He also chipped in four rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal in 23 minutes Tuesday. Miller has averaged 4.6 points and 2.7 rebounds over 30 games played.

Quincy Miller posts career-best performance Saturday

by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(1/11/2014) Nuggets forward Quincy Miller set several career bests in Saturday's 120-94 win over the Magic, scoring 16 points on 5 of 13 shooting and grabbing 11 rebounds in 31 minutes of action.

The Nuggets were already down three forwards before Darrell Arthur strained his groin, leaving him with just 11 minutes of action in the loss. That paved the way for Miller to set career highs in points, rebounds, minutes and blocks (two) while also recording one assist and one steal. He entered the game with just 43 points in 74 minutes over 11 games played.

Miller remains a project

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(3/21/2013) Nuggets forward Quincy Miller generated some first-round buzz during his freshman season at Baylor, but ultimately fell to the second round, where he was taken with the 38th overall pick due to questions about his readiness. He has been unable to prove those questions wrong this season, as he has appeared in just three games. Miller has spent much of the season in the D-League, where he is averaging 11.3 points and 6.8 rebounds per game.
