News: 76ers forward Arnett Moultrie has been seeing a bigger role on the team recently, as he topped the 20-minute mark for just the fourth time all season Thursday against the Nuggets. He scored eight points on 3 of 6 shooting, with eight rebounds and two assists, in a 101-100 loss.
Analysis: The Sixers invested a first-round pick in Moultrie, but have been hesitant to rely on him so far. The 22-year-old has reached double figures in points just two times, and is unlikely to have any impact in Fantasy down the stretch, unless the Sixers begin tanking.
News: 76ers power forward Arnett Moultrie enjoyed a solid performance off the bench as he scored in double figures for the second time this season Tuesday night against the Celtics. Moultrie went a perfect 5 of 5 shooting from the field as he finished with 10 points, four rebounds and a steal while logging 20 minutes of game action in a 109-101 defeat.
Analysis: Moultrie was starting to crack the rotation in February, but has only averaged 11.3 minutes per game over the first three games in March. He is averaging just 6.7 points and 1.7 rebounds per game over that span. He is obviously a marginal contributor off the bench for the Sixers and should be ignored in all Fantasy formats moving forward.
News: Philadelphia power forward Arnett Moultrie had a nice game in a losing effort on Monday night against the Clippers. Moultrie scored eight points off the bench over 26 minutes as he was 4 for 5 from the field. He grabbed six rebounds and added two steals in the game for the 76ers.
Analysis: Moultrie has only played in 18 games this season for Philadelphia and is averaging right around two points and two rebounds per game. He's seen a bit of a boost lately, but shouldn't garner any Fantasy attention for the time being.
News: The 76ers have waived rookie guard Maalik Wayns and have recalled rookie Arnett Moultrie from D-League Sunday, according to the team's official website.
Analysis: Moultrie was the 27th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft and averaged 9.7 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 26.3 minutes per game with the team's D-League affiliate before getting called up. Moultrie is not expected to see enough playing time to make any sort of consistent Fantasy impact. Continue to ignore the 22-year old in all formats moving forward.
News: The 76ers sent forward Arnett Moultrie to the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA Development league the team announced Friday. Moultrie averaged 1.3 points and 1.5 rebounds in 11 games with the Sixers.
Analysis: Moultrie wasn't seeing much court time in Philadelphia so the team sent him down to the minors so he could play everyday. However, coach Doug Collins is very high on the rookie so we wouldn't be surprised if he was back up in a few weeks. However, Fantasy owners should continue to ignore the 22-year-old in all formats at this point in the year.
