Arnett Moultrie suspended five games for violating NBA/NBPA drug policy

(3/31/2014) 76ers forward Arnett Moultrie has been suspended without pay for five games for violating the terms of the NBA/NBPA anti-drug program, the league announced Monday. Moultrie has been with the team's D-League affiliate for the last three weeks, after failing to gain any significant playing time with the 76ers.

(2/10/2014) 76ers forward Arnett Moultrie made his season debut on Sunday against the Clippers, after missing the first 51 games of the season while recovering from offseason ankle surgery.

Moultrie did very little offensively, as he was held scoreless, missing all three of his shots. He chipped in with two rebounds, one block and three steals while logging 16 minutes of game action in a 123-78 blowout loss.

Wroten was seen walking around with ice on his injured ankle during the team's shootaround Wednesday, making him nearly certain to miss his second straight game with the injury. Moultrie has yet to make his season debut after September ankle surgery. Davies is missing his second straight game after dislocating a finger Sunday.

Moultrie appeared in just 47 games last season, averaging 11.5 minutes per game after being the 27th overall pick in the draft. He averaged 3.7 points and 3.1 rebounds per game as a rookie.
