(3/13/2014) 76ers center Henry Sims has blossomed as a starter, and put together his finest performance as a professional Wednesday against the Kings.

The big man filled up the box score well, with three assists, two blocks and three steals in a 115-98 loss.

Henry Sims seeing more run

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(2/2/2014) With Anderson Varejao limited by a knee injury, little-used reserve center Henry Sims has been seeing more playing time in recent games.

Sims played 21 minutes off the bench Saturday against the Rockets, his second game in a row with 20-plus minutes played. He scored seven points on 3 of 7 shooting in the game and added six rebounds, both of which are season-high totals. The Cavaliers lost the game, 106-92.

Sims has appeared in 15 games this season, and has never had a consistent role before now. He will likely return to the bench when Varejao is healthy enough to return.
