News: New Jersey waived forward Ime Udoka on Friday, trimming the roster to 15 players.
Analysis: Udoka has been a backup everywhere he's played in his seven-year career. Even if he finds a new team he won't be worth owning in any format this year.
News: The Spurs waived backup SF Ime Udoka on Wednesday.
Analysis: Udoka played sparingly in 20 games after being brought back to San Antonio in November and logged just three minutes in Tuesday's loss at New York. Continue to ignore him in Fantasy play.
News: The Spurs signed SF Ime Udoka on Wednesday. Udoka played 69 games for the Kings last season, averaging 3.6 pints and 2.8 rebounds.
Analysis: Udoka spent a couple seasons with the Spurs before joining the Kings but was just a modest contributor off the bench. His role won't be any bigger now at age 33, so you can leave him on waivers in Fantasy.
News: Sacramento F Ime Udoka returned to the lineup Friday against Portland after missing the previous two games with ankle and knee injuries. He scored zero points in just four minutes and recorded no other stats.
Analysis: Friday's statline should tell you just about where Udoka stands in Fantasy. It is safe to leave him on waivers in all formats.
News: Kings SF Ime Udoka could not play for the second consecutive game on Wednesday night against Toronto due to a sore left knee and ankle sustained in Sacramento's 108-102 loss to Oklahoma City on Sunday. He remains day to day.
Analysis: Udoka has minimal Fantasy value when healthy. If you've been using him in daily leagues, we'd recommend benching him until he actually gets back on the court.
News: Kings forward Ime Udoka, a former Blazer, did not play Tuesday night at Portland because of a sore left knee and ankle sustained in Sacramento's 108-102 loss to Oklahoma City on Sunday.
Analysis: Udoka has minimal Fantasy value when healthy. Ignore him in all daily leagues for Wednesday's game against Toronto.
News: Kings SF Ime Udoka went off on Friday over 35 minutes on the court at Golden State. Udoka, averaging 4.9 points per game on the season, scored 19 points on 7 of 10 shooting with four threes. He added 14 rebounds for a double-double, his first of the season, and added two steals and a blocked shot.
Analysis: Friday's monster game sees Udoka's averages move to 8.2 points, 4.2 boards and a three per game over his last five nights. Those numbers are still minimal, however. He clearly has some upside but right now is only worth a look in deeper leagues.
News: Kings SF Ime Udoka scored a season-high 17 points, more than doubling his previous season high, to help rally his team to victory after trailing by 35 points at Chicago on Monday. He also had three rebounds and shot 3 for 5 from 3-point range in 23 minutes off the bench.
Analysis: Udoka usually averages only 15 minutes per game and probably only got so much playing time because the Kings trailed by so many points. He ranks low in the team's rotation and isn't worth using in Fantasy.
News: The Sacramento Kings have signed swingman Ime Udoka to a contract. The team did not release terms of the deal announced Wednesday. Udoka spent the preseason with Portland before being waived last month.
Analysis: Udoka is averaging 6.0 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game in his five-year career. He has played 227 games for the Los Angeles Lakers, New York, Portland and San Antonio. We don't consider him a viable Fantasy option.
News: The Portland Trail Blazers have waived forward Ime Udoka and center Jarron Collins. The moves Thursday bring the Blazers' roster to 15.
Analysis: Udoka has played five seasons in the NBA, including a previous stint in Portland. He averaged 6.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 18.8 minutes in five preseason games.
News: San Antonio SF Ime Udoka led all Spurs bench players in points on Sunday against the Kings, scoring 11 points and adding six rebounds and two assists in a 95-92 win.
Analysis: This is the second straight game that Udoka has been able to reach double digits as he is making a bigger impact off the bench. He is doing more because of the absence of Manu Ginobili but is not going to be a relevant Fantasy option looking ahead to the 2009-2010 season.
News: San Antonio F Ime Udoka hasn't had the second season he hoped for after finishing off his rookie season in the rotation. Things may be turning around. Udoka scored 11 Sunday against the Suns after netting 13 on Friday -- his first double-figure scoring outings since Nov. 21.
Analysis: "I've been a little inconsistent," he admitted. "It's something I'm working on every day, so I can continue to contribute. All it takes is one game with Pop (coach Gregg Popovich), and you'll be back in the mix." Udoka doesn't do enough statistically to be relevant in Fantasy, so leave him on waivers.
News: According to The Sports Xchange, F Ime Udoka said he's fully recovered from a bout with the flu that kept him in San Antonio while the team traveled to Denver. He's put in some extra conditioning work in the meantime to stay in shape. "I feel good now," he said. "I was a little winded (Saturday) night, but I had another day of rest, so I feel good. I'm ready to go now." Udoka played one minute against the Mavericks on Tuesday.
Analysis: Udoka doesn't do enough statistically to even worth thinking about in Fantasy. Leave him on waivers.
News: Spurs G F Ime Udoka contributed just two points to go with five rebounds and an assist in Wednesday's season opener against Phoenix. He played 15 minutes off the bench.
Analysis: The Spurs have a big scoring void to fill with Manu Ginobili out until at least mid-December. On Wednesday, Tony Parker and Tim Duncan scored 32 points and it seems they may have to do a lot of the heavy lifting. There is still room for players like Udoka to step up, but he will have to play a lot better than this.
News: The Spurs head into the regular season without one of their big three options as Manu Ginobili will be out until at least mid-December with an ankle injury. That will give a few players a chance to step up in his place in Fantasy Week 1 (Oct. 27-Nov. 2).
Analysis: Michael Finley is the logical choice, but at 35, he will need some help to fill Ginobili's 20-4-4 void. Roger Mason could step up off the bench as could Ime Udoka. Consider both players to monitor and not start for a two-game scoring period in Week 1. Tony Parker and Tim Duncan will have to do their part also to step up on offense to fill the void, they are the only two Spurs players worth starting in most leagues in Week 1 and beyond. Finley has some low-end appeal in deep leagues that use four or five guards. Bruce Bowen remains a starter, but is a defensive specialist without much offensive upside. Kurt Thomas and Fabricio Oberto will continue to split time at center and neither player has any upside beyond that of a No. 3 center.
News: Spurs F Ime Udoka averaged 18.1 minutes in 73 appearances during the 2007-08 regular season. He averaged just 5.8 points and 3.1 rebounds in those games.
Analysis: Udoka was one of many role players for the Spurs and saw just around five shots per game. Fantasy owners should not consider him a viable option in Fantasy leagues while with the Spurs as his upside will be limited in their rotation.
News: Spurs F Ime Udoka played 29 minutes in Sunday's win at Dallas, but he finished with just seven points and four rebounds off the bench.
Analysis: Udoka continues to see around 20-25 minutes on most nights, but just isn't enough of a focal point in the offense to be considered useful in Fantasy play for the moment.
News: Spurs G/F Ime Udoka was back Monday against Boston after sitting out two games with tarsal tunnel syndrome in his right ankle. He played 24 minutes and finished with six points and one rebound.
Analysis: Udoka has minimal Fantasy value at this time and should only be used in deep scoring formats.
News: Spurs forward Ime Udoka went for five points, 11 rebounds and three assists Tuesday against the Nets.
Analysis: Udoka played 31 minutes off the bench. He is a low-end Fantasy option at this time, but keep an eye on his performance to see if he can keep this up on a consistent basis.
News: Spurs F Ime Udoka had just 2 points with 3 rebounds in Thursday's game at Minnesota, just one game after he brought down a season-high 10 rebounds.
Analysis: Udoka had scored 12 points in each of his previous two games, but this is why you can't rely on him in Fantasy. In his current bench role, starting him is like trying to catch lightning in a bottle.
News: Spurs F Ime Udoka pulled down a season-high 10 rebounds Tuesday against the Bobcats. He also scored 12 points, giving him his first double-double of the season, and dished out five assists. He played 32 minutes off the bench.
Analysis: Udoka has now scored a dozen in each of the last two games. He's actually played pretty well since midway through January, though he still doesn't produce consistent enough statistics for us to recommend him in Fantasy.
News: Spurs F Ime Udoka had 10 points with nine rebounds and two steals off the bench in Thursday's win at Phoenix. He played 31 minutes, his highest total of the regular season.
Analysis: Udoka has been a virtual non-factor in Fantasy play this season and one solid game doesn't change that. However, if you take a look at his last four games, he's starting to pick up his production. He's scored in double figures in three of four of those game and has also ad five-plus rebounds in three out of four of those games. Think about taking a flier on him.
News: One game after his hot streak seemingly ended, Spurs reserve F Ime Udoka scored 13 points and pulled down seven rebounds Saturday against the Hornets. He has now scored in double figures in three of the last four games.
Analysis: The Spurs have begun to see Udoka as more of an offensive weapon lately, using him to spell defensive specialist Bruce Bowen more and more often. Still, he merely has low-end Fantasy appeal.
News: Spurs SF Ime Udoka scored just two points in 14 minutes off the bench Thursday against the Heat. Udoka had scored in double figures in the previous two games. Udoka also had two rebounds and one assist Thursday.
Analysis: Udoka has scored in double figures just six times this season. He had a bigger role last season with Portland, but he plays a position in San Antonio that is occupied by defensive specialist Bruce Bowen. Udoka remains a low-end Fantasy reserve.
News: Spurs F Ime Udoka had 13 points and four rebounds in 24 minutes off the bench Monday at Golden State. He had gone five straight games without scoring in double figures.
Analysis: Udoka has only four double-digit scoring games this season, and he plays fairly good minutes. Leave him on waivers in Fantasy.
News: Spurs SF Ime Udoka played just seven minutes in Thursday's loss at the Lakers. He scored just two points and two assists with a rebound.
Analysis: Udoka currently finds himself buried in the Spurs' depth chart and is not a player that should be owned in Fantasy. Leave him on the waiver wire in all leagues.
News: Spurs SF Ime Udoka played just eight minutes in Thursday's loss at Dallas. He is averaging 13.7 mpg in six appearances this season.
Analysis: Udoka currently finds himself buried in the Spurs' depth chart and is not a player that should be owned in Fantasy. Leave him on the waiver wire in all leagues.
News: The San Antonio Spurs signed free agent swingman Ime Udoka on Thursday.
Analysis: Ukoka, who was undrafted out of Portland State, averaged 8.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 75 games with the Portland Trail Blazers last season. Consider him in the late rounds in Fantasy formats, although his numbers may take a hit in San Antonio.
News: Portland Trail Blazers forward Ime Udoka will miss the rest of the season because of right knee soreness. The Blazers had five games remaining, starting Wednesday night against the Houston Rockets.
Analysis: Udoka was averaging 8.4 points and 3.7 rebounds in 75 games. The Portland native was a training camp invitee considered a long shot to make the roster, but Udoka impressed coach Nate McMillan, and not only earned a roster spot but became a starter. Next season, he'll be worth a pick in the late rounds if he can retain a starting job.
News: Ime Udoka returned to the starting lineup Wednesday after missing two games with a concussion. He looked a little foggy Wednesday, too, making only 1 of 9 shots while scoring three points in 26 minutes.
Analysis: When healthy, he is just a low-end Fantasy guard. It appears safe to activate him as a No. 4 guard in leagues of 10-plus teams if necessary.
News: Trail Blazers G Ime Udoka (concussion) was not in the team's lineup Saturday against the Clippers.
Analysis: Udoka is still listed as day to day. Continue to keep him reserved in all Fantasy leagues while he is out. When healthy, he is just a low-end Fantasy guard.
News: Blazers G Ime Udoka (concussion) was on the team's inactive list for Thursday's game against the Grizzlies.
Analysis: Udoka is still listed as day to day. Continue to keep him reserved in all Fantasy leagues while he is out. When healthy, he is just a low-end Fantasy guard.

Analysis: Udoka will have a couple of days to shake the cobwebs out before the Blazers return to the court on Thursday against Memphis.
News: Ime Udoka has been on a roll, and he had one of his best shooting games of the season Friday at the Lakers, knocking down five of seven three-point attempts en route to a 19-point, four-rebound, four-assist performance.
Analysis: The Portland native is a sparkling .604 from three-point range (29 of 48) over his last 16 games. Consider activating him as a No. 3 forward in leagues of 10-plus teams.
News: Blazers guard Ime Udoka doesn't shoot often, but he's been effective when he does. Udoka has shot .573 from the field (59 of 103) and .585 from three-point range (24 of 41) over his last 15 games.
Analysis: Udoka is worth keeping an eye on to see how he performs as the season comes to an end. For now, keep him reserved in all scoring formats.
News: Blazers guard Ime Udoka, the only Blazer to start every game (and only one of 20 in the NBA) this season, had a nice game Sunday, sinking 6-of-9 from the field, including 3-of-4 from three-point range. He finished with 15 points, five rebounds and three assists in 29 minutes. In his last eight games, Udoka has made 36 of 56 shots (.636).
Analysis: Udoka is worth adding in deep leagues. He can be used as a No. 4 Fantasy guard with the way he's playing recently.
News: Portland's Ime Udoka has spent time guarding all the great perimeter players in the NBA this season -- Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Tracy McGrady, Manu Ginobili, and on and on. On Sunday night in the Rose Garden, Udoka will get another opportunity to test his mettle when he goes up against Golden State's high-flying Jason Richardson. The 6-6 Richardson, who has missed about half the season due to injury, is averaging only 13.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.0 assists. In his last two games, though, Richardson has gone for 28 and 29 points while averaging 8.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists.
Analysis: On offense, Udoka is playing OK also. He is averaging 8.8 points and 3.8 rebounds for the season. He had 13 points and four rebounds Tuesday against San Antonio. For now, consider him a low-end Fantasy option.
News: Ime Udoka was solid offensively with 10 points on 4-of-7 shooting, but he had trouble moving laterally in defending Ron Artest. Udoka has been playing through a sore knee that was aggravated in last week's Seattle game.
Analysis: Udoka is not expected to miss any time as a result of the injury and continues to start for the Blazers. He deserves to be owned in most leagues of 10-plus teams. He's a low-end option, but an option nonetheless.
News: Despite playing with a sore knee, Ime Udoka quietly had a perfect shooting night on Thursday vs. Charlotte -- 11 points on 4-of-4 from the field, 2-of-2 from three-point range and 1-of-1 from the line. He also had four rebounds, three assists and two steals in 19 effective minutes.
Analysis: Udoka continues to start for the Blazers and as such deserves to be owned in most leagues of 10-plus teams. He's a low-end option, but an option nonetheless.
News: Blazers guard Ime Udoka had 14 points and seven rebounds Tuesday against the Heat.
Analysis: Udoka is too streaky to warrant using on your Fantasy team, but he could be a useful injury replacement.
News: Blazers G Ime Udoka had 14 points and eight rebounds in a win over the Bobcats Friday.
Analysis: Udoka is merely a low-end Fantasy reserve at this time. Despite starting, Udoka is a less than desirable Fantasy option because he does very little from a statistical standpoint on most nights.
News: Ime Udoka scored a career-high 21 points on 8-of-10 shooting Saturday vs. Memphis, and also had seven rebounds, four assists and three steals in 40 minutes in a double-overtime game.
Analysis: Consider that it took two overtimes and more minutes than he normally plays to put together this solid line. Despite starting, Udoka is a less than desirable Fantasy option. He does very little from a statistical standpoint.
News: Ime Udoka, who has guarded bigs, smalls and everyone in between for the Trail Blazers this season, will likely get the initial defensive assignment on LeBron James on Wednesday when Portland plays host to the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Rose Garden. "I normally like to guard bigger guys because they think they can post me up with their size, but I'm pretty good at not letting them do that," said Udoka, who will be giving away three inches to the 6-8 James. "But LeBron's a different breed. He's tough for anybody to guard." James scored 32 points as the Cavs breezed to a 100-87 victory over the Blazers in the teams' first meeting Nov. 15 at Cleveland.
Analysis: Udoka has been a solid starter for the Blazers this season, but he is more valuable to his team, then he is to Fantasy owners. He should only be considered a reserve Fantasy guard in the deepest of Fantasy leagues at this time. He is averaging 8.4 points and 3.7 rebounds per game.
News: Blazers G Ime Udoka shot 3-for-5 from the floor Sunday vs. Denver, finishing with seven points. He played just under 14 minutes despite starting.
Analysis: Despite his starting status, Udoka is a less than desirable Fantasy option. He does very little from a statistical standpoint.
News: Blazers G Ime Udoka has shot just 3-for-9 from the floor over his last two games, totaling six points.
Analysis: Udoka is averaging 8.4 ppg, 3.7 rpg and 1.4 this season and should be considered a low-end Fantasy forward in leagues of 12-plus teams at this time.
News: Ime Udoka has started at small forward every game this season despite being a veritable rookie at 29. Udoka had been Portland's most consistent shooter until going 1-for-8 and 1-for-7 in the previous two contests. The Portland native snapped out of it Wednesday by hitting 4-of-8 and collecting 11 points and 10 rebounds for his second double-double of season. "It was good to see Ime come back so strong after a couple of bad shooting games," coach Nate McMillan said. "When he's knocking down shots and playing that way, it helps our whole game."
Analysis: Despite his starting status, Udoka is a less than desirable Fantasy option. He is averaging 8.7 points and 3.8 rebounds per game and should be thought of as a reserve Fantasy G/F at this time.
News: On a night when his "Coat Drive for the Homeless" was featured, Trail Blazers G Ime Udoka had his worst game of the season on Friday. The Portland native made only 1-of-8 from the field and 0-of-3 from three-point range, finishing with four points and three turnovers in 21 minutes.
Analysis: The third-year journeyman out of Portland State seems to have found a niche in Portland. He has scored in double-figures 10 times this season and is giving the Blazers some quality minutes. He's become more useful of late, but the rookie should still only be thought of as a stopgap option in leagues of 12-plus teams.
News: Ime Udoka, the 29-year-old rookie who does a lot of the dirty work for the Blazers, scored a season-high 15 points on Wednesday at Memphis, including the game-winning basket with 53 seconds left. He hit six of nine shots in 39 minutes.
Analysis: He's become more useful of late, but the rookie should still only be thought of as a stopgap option in leagues of 12-plus teams.
News: Blazers G Ime Udoka shot just 1-for-5 from the floor in Friday's game at Indiana, finishing with six points.
Analysis: He's averaging 8.4 ppg and 3.7 rpg in 21 starts this season. Unless you find those numbers useful, keep him reserved as a possible stopgap option.
News: Blazers G Ime Udoka played for 23 minutes on Friday and went 2-of-7 from the field. He scored six points and had four rebounds.
Analysis: Udoka has proven to be a useful Fantasy G in leagues of 12-plus teams. He should begin to draw more attention even in smaller leagues now that he's seeing regular playing time.
News: Ime Udoka is one of coach Nate McMillan's favorites, and he came through with 14 points and six rebounds Friday night at Boston.
Analysis: Udoka has proven to be a useful Fantasy G in leagues of 12-plus teams. He should begin to draw more attention even in smaller leagues now that he's seeing regular playing time.
News: Blazers F/G Ime Udoka has started all seven games, averaging 7.7 ppg and 3.7 rpg.

Analysis: He also grabbed two huge offensive rebounds in the final 36 minutes to help secure the victory. Udoka hasn't garnered much Fantasy attention, but will begin to do so. Consider him a decent option as a short-term replacement option in leagues of 12-plus teams.
News: Zach Randolph scored 16 of his 22 points in the first half, rookie Brandon Roy added 19 points as the Trail Blazers beat the SuperSonics 103-95 on Friday night for their first preseason win. Roy, an All-America at Washington last season, was 4-of-7 from the field and 11-for-12 at the free throw line. Udoka, a non-roster invitee out of Portland State, added 16 points, 11 in the second half. Udoka scored 16 points on Thursday night against Utah, just two days after his father passed away in Portland. Reserve guard Juan Dixon added 17 points for Portland. Reserve guard Juan Dixon added 17 points.
Analysis: Randolph dominated his matchups with Seattle forwards Chris Wilcox and Nick Collison in the first half. He went 6-of-9 from the field and grabbed five rebounds as the Blazers (1-3) shot 61 percent in the first half. They shot 62 percent for the game. Randolph returned in the game's final minutes, as Portland coach Nate McMillan went with his starters to keep the lead. Before the game, McMillan said it was important his young team won in the preseason. Consider Randolph and Roy worthy of middle-round picks on Draft Day. As for Dixon, he'll be someone to keep an eye on off the waiver wire. Udoka is not someone Fantasy owners should be concerned with at the moment.
