News: The Orlando Sentinel reports the Magic have no plans to play healthy veterans Hedo Turkoglu and Al Harrington for the rest of the season with their minutes going to younger players.
Analysis: Harrington's best days are behind him, and it's unlikely many Fantasy owners will count on him again. Keep an eye on what happens with Harrington after this year, but he has a lot to prove before he will be Fantasy relevant in the majority of leagues going forward.
News: Orlando power forward Al Harrington has been available for the Magic but has not seen minutes in each of the team's previous three games. Harrington did not play Wednesday night once again and may not play again this season, reports the Orlando Sentinel. With the Magic wanting to play its young forwards, there are few minutes remaining for the aging 33-year-old veteran.
Analysis: Harrington has fallen out of the rotation and has played just under 12 minutes per game the entire season in only 10 contests. He's struggled since returning from an extended injury absence and may have no more Fantasy value remaining as the Magic go younger.
News: Magic forward Al Harrington played just seven minutes Friday against the Pacers, as he continues to play just a small role since returning from a knee injury. Harrington scored two points on 1 of 3 shooting in the game, with a pair of rebounds in a 115-86 loss.
Analysis: It not particularly surprising that Harrington has struggled since his return, given his age and the extended layoff. He is shooting just 38.1 percent from the field in seven games, while averaging 5.4 points in 12.3 minutes per game. At this point, Fantasy owners should not have Harrington on their rosters.
News: Magic forward Al Harrington made his long-awaited season debut during Tuesday's contest against the 76ers. Harrington, who missed the team's first 56 games this season while recovering from offseason knee surgery, finished with nine points on 4 of 7 shooting from the field in the 98-84 win. He made one of his two attempts from behind the arc and also added three rebounds and two assists to his stat line, while logging 12 minutes off the bench.
Analysis: After months of sitting on the sideline, Harrington was finally able to get back on the court Tuesday night. The veteran actually looked pretty good in his debut as he moved well and posted a very respectable stat line. However, the Magic will likely be very cautious with the oft-injured veteran moving forward, so we would expect his minutes to be very limited right off the bat. While Harrington can be a decent source for points, rebounds and 3-pointers when he is going well, owners should leave him reserved until he proves to be healthy and productive on the court.
News: Magic forward Al Harrington (knee) told the Orlando Sentinel that he expects to make his season debut during Tuesday't contest at Philadelphia. Harrington has yet to play this season after undergoing knee surgery in the offseason.
Analysis: Harrington also had a staph infection in his knee, which delayed his return a few weeks, but he is finally ready to go. However, we would expect the veteran to play very limited minutes right off the bat as he slowly works his back into a rhythm. Despite finally being healthy enough to get back on the court, owners should plan on leaving the 33-year-old stashed for another week or two.
News: Magic forward Al Harrington was held out of Saturday's contest against the Cavaliers as he continues to recover from knee surgery. Harrington has yet to play this season.
Analysis: Harrington has suited up as of late, but does not appear to be ready off the bench just yet. In fact, reports surfaced earlier in the week indicating that he could be ready to play at some point in Week 18 (Feb. 25-March 3), so we'll continue to monitor his progress moving forward. Still, Fantasy owners should continue to leave the 33-year-old on waivers in all formats until he is ready to return.
News: Magic forward Al Harrington was listed as active for the first time this season, but did not see the court Friday night against the Grizzlies. Though the Magic had just eight players on the roster, Harrington, who is coming back from knee surgery, earned a DNP - coach's decision.
Analysis: It appears as if Harrington was listed as active because the team needed to list some players available for the game after shipping away J.J. Redick, Gustavo Ayon and Ish Smith before Thursday's deadline. This may have definitely been the case since some reports surfaced Thursday indicating that he could be ready to play within a week. Harrington's timetable has been pushed back a few times already, but it certainly looks like he is on the right track. Still, Fantasy owners should leave him on waivers in all formats until he back at 100 percent.
News: Magic forward Al Harrington will be active for the first time all season Friday against the Grizzlies, however it is not yet clear whether he will play. Harrington has been out since the end of last season, as a result of knee surgery and then complications from that surgery. The Magic have just eight players on the roster for Fridays game due to a flurry of trades Thursday that have not yet gone through, so Harrington may end up being active in name only.
Analysis: The Magic need to list some players as active for the game, even if they do not end up actually playing. That might be the case with Harrington, though reports surfaced Thursday indicating that he could be ready to play within a week. Harrington's timetable has been pushed back a few times already, but it certainly looks like he is on the right track. Still, Fantasy owners should leave him on waivers in all formats until he proves himself healthy.
News: The Orlando Sentinel reported Thursday that Magic forward Al Harrington could be available to play sometime in the next week, after missing the entirety of the season so far due to complications from knee surgery. Harrington has been able to push himself harder in practice recently, having missed 54 games and counting after developing a staph infection in the knee.
Analysis: Harrington has had his timetable pushed back a number of times already, so we will continue to take any news with a grain of salt. Harrington had a solid season in 2011-12, but the 33-year-old could struggle whenever he returns, given the nature of his injury and extended layoff. Still, the Magic do not have much going for them offensively, so Harrington could play a solid role. For now, he should be left on waivers until he proves healthy.
News: Magic coach Jacque Vaughn that there is still no timetable for forward Al Harrington's return to court this season, Harrington, who has yet to play this year after developing a staph infection in his surgically repaired left knee, said he is starting to feel a bit better.
Analysis: Harrington had a solid season in 2011-12, scoring 14.2 points per game for the Nuggets in just 27.5 minutes per game. The 32-year-old might take a while to get into shape, but Fantasy owners need to watch how he performs before considering him an option in any leagues. He has a long way to go before he can be considered a starting forward in most formats.
News: Magic forward Al Harrington told NBA.com Friday that he feels like he is on the verge of returning from a knee injury that has kept him off the floor for the entire season so far. "I'm just going to keep rehabbing, he said. There's light at the end of the tunnel. Im not exactly sure when Ill get to go out there, but I feel like it should be soon." Harrington has not played since last May, due to complications stemming from knee surgery.
Analysis: Harrington had a solid season in 2011-12, scoring 14.2 points per game for the Nuggets in just 27.5 minutes per game. The 32-year-old might take a while to get into shape, but the young Magic could use a solid presence at power forward. It is not clear what kind of role Harrington will have, but he could be worth a look in deeper Fantasy formats, upon his return.
News: Magic forward Al Harrington, who has yet to play this season due to a staph infection on his surgically repaired right knee, was working out with team trainer Ed Manalo prior to Tuesday's game at Detroit, report the Orlando Sentinel. Harrington has also been taking part in some team practices, but there has still been no timetable announced for his return.
Analysis: Harrington appears to be making steady progress in his rehab, but the Magic are still not saying when he will be ready to make his debut. The 32-year-old, who was acquired from the Nuggets in the deal that landed Dwight Howard in Los Angeles, is expected to provide another scoring option at the power forward position for Orlando. He averaged 14.2 points on 44.6 percent shooting from the field during his final season in Denver and can also be a decent source for rebounds and 3-pointers when he is healthy. Still, with Fantasy Week 14 (Jan. 28-Feb. 3) on the horizon, only owners in deeper formats should continue to stash Harrington at this point.
News: Orlando power forward Al Harrington participated in practice on Sunday, reports the Orlando Sentinel. Harrington, who is coming back from knee surgery, has been behind schedule since his surgery back in July. Getting back on the practice court is a solid step in the right direction for him.
Analysis: Orlando could really use Harrington back as the veteran should provide a solid scoring presence at the power forward position. He's finally making some solid progress in his recovery but we still doubt he'll be back before February. Harrington doesn't have a ton of upside at this point in his career and should only be reserved in deeper Fantasy formats.
News: Orlando power forward Al Harrington (knee surgery) is improving, reports the Orlando Sentinel Monday. That said, Harrington's return is not imminent for the Magic. He is aiming to play before the February trade deadline.
Analysis: Harrington still has several hurdles to climb before he can think about returning to action for the Magic. Harrington was acquired from Denver as part of the Dwight Howard deal and has averaged 13.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per game over his 14-year career, making him an attractive piece for a playoff contender. Still, with his return not expected until February, Fantasy owners should keep him stashed only in deeper formats if you have space.
News: Magic forward Al Harrington continues to take gradual steps in his recovery from knee surgery and was limited to shooting and light jogging during Tuesday's practice. He has yet to play this season, but said he will return to the court by the NBA trade deadline on Feb. 21 as he anticipates being on the move again. "I'm gonna play," Harrington told the Orlando Sentinel. "I know the only way they can move me is to show I'm healthy. I haven't been on the court yet ... but wherever I am, I'm going to give 100 percent."
Analysis: Harrington remains out indefinitely with a staph infection that developed in his knee following the procedures he had over the summer. He said he has a target date to return, but did not provide further details and said, "everything is top secret. But I'm on schedule." Harrington was acquired from Denver as part of the Dwight Howard deal and has averaged 13.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per game over his 14-year career, making him an attractive piece for a playoff contender. Still, with his return not expected until January, Fantasy owners should keep him stashed only in deeper formats if you have space.
News: Orlando forward Al Harrington said Monday he is growing frustrated by the arduous process he has dealt with in his recovery from knee surgery. Harrington, who was obtained by the Magic as part of the deal that sent Dwight Howard to the Lakers, has yet to play this year and there is no clear timetable for his return. "It's been tough," he told the Orlando Sentinel. "I've been hurt before, but I've never been hurt in the beginning of a season. I've played in every home opener my whole career. The fact that I'm not playing yet is just frustrating for me, because I know how much I could help this team, and I just love to play the game of basketball."
Analysis: Harrington was expected to return to the court six weeks after having arthroscopic surgery to repair torn meniscus cartilage in his knee. But he started feeling sick two days after the surgery and doctors discovered he had developed a staph infection in the knee, which has kept him sidelined ever since, including practice. "I know he wants to play," Magic coach Jacque Vaughn said. Harrington averaged 14.2 points and 6.1 rebounds as a bench player for Denver last year and could help Orlando's inconsistent offense that ranks 27th in the league in scoring (91.7 ppg). But without a timetable for his return, he should be reserved only in deeper Fantasy formats at this point.
News: Orlando power forward Al Harrington has yet to be cleared to resume basketball-related activities, reports the team's official site Tuesday. Harrington continues to miss time with a knee injury and has yet to suit up this season. Harrington was acquired from Denver in the blockbuster deal for Dwight Howard during the offseason.
Analysis: Harrington served as a solid bench player for the Nuggets last season (14.2 ppg) and is expected to fill that role again this year with the Magic, when healthy. The 32-year-old has had issues with injuries before in his career and has played 80-plus games only twice in his 14 NBA seasons. Harrington still contributes a decent clip on the glass and is worth reserving in deeper Fantasy formats as he could return within the next couple weeks.
News: Magic general manager Rob Hennigan said Monday that forward Al Harrington (knee) remains at least two weeks away from participating in on-court drills, the team's official website reports. Harrington, who did not play during the preseason following four knee surgeries, is scheduled to visit a specialist in mid-November.
Harrington still contributes a decent clip on the glass and is worth reserving in deeper Fantasy formats as he could return within the next four weeks.
News: After playing the final 11 games of the regular season and the first round of the playoffs with a torn meniscus, Nuggets forward Al Harrington had surgery on Wednesday to repair the damage in his right knee. He is expected to recover over the summer and be ready for the start of the season.
Analysis: Harrington bounced back from a poor first season in Denver, taking on a larger role and stepping up his game as the teams sixth man. He averaged 14.2 points per game on the season despite playing just 27.5 minutes per game. He also added 6.1 rebounds per game, and he should continue to be a major part of the teams rotation going forward, as he is a perfect fit as a stretch power forward in the teams fast-paced offense. At 32 and coming off knee surgery, he might be expected to take a back seat, especially with the emergence of rookie Kenneth Faried, however Harrington still offers a unique blend of long-range shooting and rebounding that makes him worthy of targeting in the middle rounds on Draft Day.
News: Nuggets forward Al Harrington was on the court as expected for Sundays Game 4 against the Lakers after suffering a fractured nose during Game 3, and while he began the game wearing a protective mask, he tossed it off after his first few minutes on the floor, as it seemed to be causing him problems on defense. He would put it back on and finish the game, managing to avoid taking a hit and re-aggravating the injury, playing 24 minutes and scoring nine points on 4 of 11 shooting. He also added six rebounds, two steals and an assist, as the Nuggets lost, 92-88.
Analysis: Harrington has been dealing with a knee injury as well, however neither seemed to affect him much in this game. He should continue to occupy a similar role for the Nuggets moving forward, however that might not be for too long, as they face elimination on Tuesday in Los Angeles. Fantasy owners should consider Harrington a solid low-end Fantasy option for postseason formats.
News: Nuggets forward Al Harrington suffered a fractured nose during Friday's Game 3 against the Lakers. While he did not play in the fourth quarter due to the injury, he told reporters after the game that he plans on playing in Sunday's Game 4, though he will likely wear a mask. Harrington played just 17 minutes on Friday, scoring seven points on 2 of 4 shooting, with just two rebounds and two assists.
Analysis: Harrington has been dealing with a knee injury as well, which was limiting his minutes in the postseason as is. The nose injury should not trouble him too much as long as he is wearing the mask, however he might not be fully comfortable wearing it. He had scored in double figures in each of the first two games of the series before Friday, so Fantasy owners should consider him a viable low-end option for postseason formats.
News: After being diagnosed with a meniscus tear on Monday, Nuggets forward Al Harrington is going to be on a minutes limit for the rest of the season, according to coach George Karl. Prior to Wednesdays game against the Timberwolves, Karl told NBA.com, I think keeping his minutes minimal, or on the low end, and maybe saving his minutes for the second half is kind of what Im thinking. Id rather have him at the end of a game. Karl was true to his word on Wednesday, limiting Harringtons minutes to 22 in the game. Harrington did play well, scoring 11 points on 4 of 8 shooting with four rebounds, as the Nuggets won, 113-107.
Analysis: Harrington has been playing right around 28 minutes per game on the season, so he is going to see his numbers take a hit here for the rest of the year. That will definitely limit his value, so Fantasy owners will need to consider this moving forward. While this is better than losing him for the season, Fantasy owners cannot like the loss of almost one quarter of his minutes. As long as he is one the floor, Fantasy owners should consider him a starting option, however keep in mind that he isnt going to give you the same production you have been used to. Consider him a low-end starting option now.
News: Nuggets forward Al Harrington was forced to leave Mondays game against the Warriors at the end of the third quarter, and after the game he told the Denver Post that he has been dealing with a meniscus tear in his knee. He said that, while doctors and trainers are considered a couple of different options, Harrington hopes to be able to continue to play with the injury, something he said he has been doing already. Harrington finished the game having played just 12 minutes, scoring 10 points on 4 of 7 shooting, as the Nuggets defeated the Warriors easily, 123-84.
Analysis: Harrington going down this late in the season would be a terrible outcome for both the Nuggets and his Fantasy owners, as Harrington has continued to play at a solid level all season long. The veteran is averaging 15.7 points per game over the last 10 games, so we will continue to monitor this injury moving forward. He seems optimistic that he will be able to continue to play, however the training staff may have something to say about that, so keep a close eye on his progress.
News: Nuggets forward Al Harrington finished with 17 points off the bench during Monday night's contest against the Bulls. Harrington made six of his 14 field-goal attempts in the 108-91 win, including going 3 of 6 from downtown. He also added five rebounds to his stat line, while logging 29 minutes of game action.
Analysis: Harrington continues to be one of the more pleasant surprises in Fantasy this season. He has been able to bounce back from a dismal 2010-11, thanks in large part to his ability to stay relatively healthy. As long as that trend holds true, Fantasy owners should continue to roll with the 32-year-old as a viable option in most formats over the final few weeks of the season.
News: Nuggets forward Al Harrington did not seem bothered by a right knee contusion on Saturday night, as he played 28 minutes as the Nuggets defeated the Celtics, 98-91. Harrington, who averages 27.9 minutes per game on the season, was in his usual role, scoring 11 points on 4 of 12 shooting off the bench. He also had four rebounds and an assist in the game.
Analysis: While 4 of 12 isnt a great shooting night, you cant put that on the injury, as Harrington is a streaky shooter who is prone to nights like that every once in a while. Based on what we saw on Saturday, it seems safe to say Harrington is not going to be bothered by the injury moving forward, however Fantasy owners should continue to monitor Harringtons status in case there is a setback, however it appears safe to keep him in the lineup moving forward.
News: Nuggets forward Al Harrington is available to play in Saturday night's contest against the Celtics. Harrington left Thursday night's contest against the Thunder after suffering a knee contusion.
Analysis: Harrington continues to be one of the more pleasant surprises in Fantasy this season. He has been able to bounce back from a dismal 2010-11 season and is a big reason why the Nuggets are where they are. The 32-year-old continues to see just over 30 minutes off the bench for coach George Karl and he seems much more comfortable in that role this year. As long as he can maintain his current production, owners should leave Harrington active in the majority of formats heading into Week 12 (March 12-18).
News: Nuggets forward Al Harrington went to the locker room midway through the fourth quarter Thursday night against the Thunder with a left knee contusion. The team said he is day to day. He finished the game with 26 minutes played off the bench, shooting 1 of 8 with five points and eight rebounds.
Analysis: Fantasy owners should keep an eye on Harrington's status heading into Saturday's game against Boston. When healthy and active, Harrington is a quality Fantasy option in all leagues, and his value could rise with Nene now traded to Washington even with JaVale McGee coming back in return.
News: Nuggets forward Al Harrington was forced to leave Thursday's game against the Thunder with a leg injury in the fourth quarter, and he was unable to return to the game. He finished the game with 26 minutes played off the bench, shooting 1 of 8 with five points and eight rebounds as the Nuggets lost to the Thunder, 103-90. There have been no reports as to the extent of the injury after the game.
Analysis: Well keep you updated on Harringtons status moving forward, however with a day off on Friday, you should know more before the Nuggets play again. The Nuggets shouldnt miss him too much on the whole, as they are remain one of the leagues deepest teams, however Fantasy owners would certainly miss Harringtons production. Fantasy owners will obviously need to keep an eye on his status moving forward, as he remains a viable Fantasy option in all formats when healthy.
News: Nuggets forward Al Harrington turned another big-time performance during Friday night's contest against the Hornets. Harrington notched his seventh double-double of the season in the 110-97 win, finishing with 20 points and 10 rebounds. He went 8 for 16 from the field and also added two steals and an assist to his stat line, while logging 26 minutes off the bench.
News: Denver forward Al Harrington notched his sixth double-double of the season on Wednesday night versus Portland. He shot 5 for 11 from the field, hitting one 3-pointer, and nailing both his foul shots. Harrington finished with 13 points and 10 boards off the bench. He added two assists, a block and two steals in his 31 minutes of action. Denver would go on to win the game, 104-95.
Analysis: Harrington is averaging 14.8 points and 9.0 boards per game over his last five outings, logging two double-doubles over that span. He has been a bit streaky with his shot from downtown, going 3 for 9 one game and then 0 for 6 his next, but he's never been too consistent. Once Danilo Gallinari returns to the lineup it will be interesting to see how much playing time Harrington loses -- if any. But as long as he can produce with the time he's given, Harrington should be viewed as a low-end forward option in larger Fantasy formats.
News: Nuggets forward Al Harrington had his most productive performance of the year on Monday night against the Timberwolves. He scored a season-high 31 points and hauled in nine rebounds in the 103-101 overtime win. He went 14 for 29 from the floor, including 3 for 9 from downtown, but missed all five of his free throws. Harrington also chipped in with two assists and a steal while playing 40 minutes off the bench.
Analysis: Harrington stepped up in a big way on Monday as the Nuggets have been very banged up of late. He is having a bounce-back campaign in his second season in Denver and has become a solid option off the bench. He is averaging 14.2 points with 6.8 rebounds in his last five contests, and is shooting 40 percent over that span. Harrington has the talent to be a viable start in Fantasy but based on his inconsistencies, consider him as more of a low-end option in larger formats.
News: Denver forward Al Harrington notched 11 points and 11 rebounds during the Nuggets' 124-118 overtime loss to Oklahoma City on Sunday night. It was the fifth double-double of the season for Harrington, who connected on 3 of 9 shot attempts, two of them coming from 3-point range. He has now finished with at least two treys in two of his past three games. Harrington also committed two turnovers for the fourth straight outing.
Analysis: Harrington's overall production had been sporadic since his last double-double on Feb. 6 against Houston as he has struggled with his shooting. He has received time in the starting lineup with several Denver players hobbled, but has converted more than 50 percent of his attempts only once in 11 games this month. And if Wilson Chandler returns, Harrington's minutes could take a hit. Consider him a No. 3 Fantasy forward for now.
News: Denver forward Al Harrington continues to struggle with his shot as he went 0 for 3 from the field on Friday night in Memphis. He managed to go 4 for 6 at the charity stripe, finishing with four points. Harrington added three boards and two steals in his 25 minutes on the court. The Nuggets would lose to the Grizzlies, 103-102.
Analysis: Harrington is in a bit of a rut for the Nuggets. He's averaging just 10.0 points and 4.2 rebounds per game over his last five outings. Harrington has been getting some starts with Nene and Danilo Gallinari out of action. But Harrington is more productive coming off the bench for the Nuggets. If Wilson Chandler comes back to Denver, Harrington's minutes might take a hit as well, which is something to keep an eye on. For now, Harrington should be viewed as a low-end starting forward -- while getting plenty of action.
News: Denver forward Al Harrington has struggled to find the mark over his last two games. He's scored 11 and 10 points in those games, respectively. Harrington shot 4 for 18 on Saturday night versus the Pacers, missing all six of his 3-pointers. He did nail both his foul shots though. Harrington grabbed six boards, blocked two shots, had a steal and dished out one assist in Denver's 113-109 win.
Analysis: Harrington has been having a good year for the Nuggets, giving them a boost off the bench. He's averaging just 11.8 points over his last five games though, along with 6.6 rebounds. He's struggling from long range as he's hitting just 18.2 percent of his 3-pointers. Still, Harrington will continue to get plenty of court time with Danilo Gallinari out of action. Fantasy owners should continue to view the 31-year-old veteran as a viable forward option in most leagues.
News: Nuggets F Al Harrington did some serious work on the boards in Monday's contest against the Rockets. He hauled in a career-high 15 rebounds, including four on the offensive glass, and scored 12 points in the 99-90 loss. He went 5 for 16 from the floor, including missing all four of his attempts from downtown, and made 2 of 6 free throws. Harrington, who played 33 minutes off the bench, also recorded a steal in the defeat.
Analysis: Harrington is having a resurgent campaign for the Nuggets this season as he has been able to get his scoring and rebounding back on track. He is averaging 15.2 points with 8.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists in his last five contests, and is shooting nearly 43 percent over that span. The injury to Danilo Gallinari could mean more playing time for the 31-year-old so keep an eye on the situation going forward. While he can be inconsistent at times, Harrington remains a viable option in the majority of Fantasy leagues.
News: Denver forward Al Harrington led his team with 23 points on Tuesday in Memphis -- 21 coming in the second half. He also grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds in his 38 minutes of action off the bench. Harrington shot 50 percent from the field, connecting on 3 of his 7 shots from downtown, and knocked down all four of his freebies at the charity stripe. He added two steals and four assists in Denver's 100-97 overtime loss.
Analysis: Harrington has been coming up with big minutes and contributions for Denver off the bench this year. He's averaging 16.4 points and 7.0 boards per outing over his last five games. Harrington should be viewed as a viable forward option in most Fantasy formats at this time, as he is posting steady numbers across the board.
News: Denver forward Al Harrington came off the bench on Friday night to score a season-high 29 points. He was on fire as he connected on 10 of his 16 shots from the floor -- converting 5 of his 8 3-points -- and nailing 4 of his 6 foul shots. "I feel like I can shoot every night like that. It just doesn't always happen that way," Harrington said. Harrington logged 30 minutes for the Nuggets as he always seems to do well against the Wizards, scoring a combined 67 points in his last three versus Washington. Harrington added seven rebounds, two assists and a steal during his time on the court. The Nuggets held on for the 108-104 win.
Analysis: Harrington has been playing extremely well for Denver lately. Over his last five outings he's averaging 16.4 points, 5.8 boards and 1.2 assist a game. He's also knocking down almost three 3-pointers a contest over that span, while shooting 50 percent from beyond the arc. Harrington has scored in double-figures in all but two of the Nuggets games this season and he doesn't seem to be slowing down. Fantasy owners should view Harrington as a viable forward option in the majority of formats at this time.
News: Denver forward Al Harrington nailed some big 3-pointers on Tuesday night in Milwaukee as the Nuggets beat the Bucks, 105-95. Harrington's shots from the corners put the end to some rallies by the Bucks. Harrington shot 5 for 9 from the field and knocked down 4 of his 6 attempts from long range. He also hit both his foul shots en route to 16 points. The veteran grabbed five rebounds, made one steal and recorded one assist in his 20 minutes off the bench.
Analysis: Harrington has scored in double-figures in all but two of the Nuggets games this season as he continues to contribute off the bench. The veteran has found his niche with the team and seems comfortable with his role. He's averaging 11.2 points and 3.6 boards per game over his last five contests, while shooting 41.2 percent from downtown. Fantasy owners should view Harrington as a viable forward option in the majority of formats at this time.
News: Nuggets F Al Harrington continued his scorching start to the season, scoring 15 points on six-of-nine shooting, making three shots from three-point range in 18 minutes off the bench. He added a steal, two rebounds and one assist in the game, and Harrington has now scored in double-figures in all but two of the Nuggets games this season.
Analysis: Harrington has upped his production across the board in his second year in Denver, and is now scoring 14.3 points per game with 4.9 rebounds in just 24.4 minutes per game. He is making a strong second impression in Denver, and has also reemerged as a useful Fantasy option. He has been a key part of the Nuggets bench, and has found a niche for them off the bench. Consider him a solid starting option in all Fantasy formats at this point.
News: Denver PF Al Harrington has been playing at a high level for the Nuggets after six contests this NBA season. Harrington scored 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds on Monday in a win over Milwaukee through 29 minutes on the court. Through the first six games of the season, Harrington is averaging 15.7 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals and well over a 3-pointer per night.
Analysis: Harrington started the season with back-to-back 18-point efforts against Dallas and Utah, but he wasn't really rebounding. He struggled the next game at Portland, but has since woken up with three straight excellent performances. Harrington is averaging 16.7 points and 7.3 boards over his last three contests. The power forward may be coming off the bench, but Harrington has been playing like a solid Fantasy start in most formats.
News: Denver F Al Harrington registered a team-high 21 points and had three rebounds during the Nuggets' 92-89 loss to the Lakers on Saturday. Harrington played 29 minutes off the bench as he outscored all of Denver's starters and finished as the only player to top 20 points. He drained 8 of his 17 shot attempts, including 3 of 8 from 3-point range, while contributing a steal and an assist -- his first of the season.
Analysis: At 31 years old, Harrington will be relied on to anchor the Nuggets' bench this season and he has shined with that responsibility early. He has posted at least 21 minutes in every game this year while averaging more than 15 points per outing. His rebounding totals aren't as impressive as they were earlier in his career as scoring remains his most valuable attribute. Consider him a quality reserve in deeper Fantasy formats for now.
News: Nuggets F Al Harrington was able to play in Monday's season opener against the Mavericks after experiencing tightness in his back during the preseason. He scored 18 points and hauled in five rebounds in the 115-93 win. He went 7 for 13 from the floor, including 2 for 5 from beyond the arc, and made both of his free throws. Harrington, who played 22 minutes, also had a steal in the victory.
Analysis: Harrington has always been known as a scorer but his all-around production can be spotty at times. He looked good in the season opener so keep an eye on his progress to see if he can keep it up. He is a rare big man that can shoot the 3-pointer so if he can see some solid playing time for Denver this season, and produce, he will gain value in larger Fantasy formats.
News: Denver F Al Harrington was removed from Tuesday's preseason game against the Suns due to tightness in his back. Harrington logged 13 minutes prior to leaving the contest and finished with 12 points, two rebounds and assist in the 127-110 win.
Analysis: Harrington will be re-evaluated over the next few days, although his injury doesn't seem to be too serious at this point. Harrington was one of the bigger disappointments in Fantasy last season, so this is not the type of start most owners were hoping to see. Continue to monitor his status over the next few days to see when he will be able to get back on the court. While Harrington could find himself in the starting lineup once the season starts, he isn't worth drafting in the majority of formats.
News: Nuggets F Al Harrington had one of the least productive seasons of his career this season in Denver. After averaging 17.7 points and 5.6 rebounds with the Knicks in 2009-10, Harrington averaged just 10.5 and 4.5 during his first season with the Nuggets. His best scoring game of the year came back in December, when he scored 31 points against the Raptors. However, Harrington only topped the 20-point plateau seven times on the year and his 41 percent field goal percentage was the second lowest of his career.
Analysis: Everyone expected Harrington to make a smooth transition from the Knicks to the Nuggets because of the similar offensive styles both team's implore. Unfortunately for the 50 percent of Fantasy owners who owned him that was not the case. To his credit, Harrington played most of the season with a case of plantar fasciitis in his left foot that developed over the summer. He still managed to appear in 73 games on the year but only started three games and averaged nearly eight minutes less per contest than he did in New York. While he will almost certainly attempt to bounce back next season -- if there is one -- Harrington's value will likely be determined by the Nuggets free situation. Nene, Kenyon Martin and J.R. Smith are all unrestricted free agents while Wilson Chandler, Arron Afflalo and Gary Forbes are restricted. If some of those players leave, Harrington could find himself seeing a lot more minutes and maybe even a chance to start again. Fantasy owners should continue to monitor how the situation plays out over the next few months. However, he should only be considered a low-end Fantasy option heading into Draft Day next season until he proves otherwise.
News: The Denver Post reports that Nuggets forward Al Harrington, who missed Monday's game against Golden State to rest, could also sit out Wednesday's season finale at Utah. The Nuggets clinched the No. 5 seed in the Western Conference with the victory against the Warriors and have nothing to play for Wednesday.
Analysis: It sounds like the Nuggets will rest Harrington again to make sure he is 100 percent healthy for the playoffs. Fantasy owners in daily leagues should use caution in case Harrington is out. When healthy, he is a low-end Fantasy option in all scoring formats.
News: Nuggets forward Al Harrington was give the night off in Monday's game against the Warriors in order to rest heading into the playoffs. His status for Wednesday's game against the Jazz is still to be determined.
Analysis: Harrington was held out for precautionary reasons, according to NBA.com. We thought it was because of his recent right Achilles' tendon injury, but either way he should have that much more of a chance to play in the season finale on Wednesday. Harrington has had his share of ups and downs this season, but he has picked it up recently before receiving the night off Monday. Still, he is just a low-end option at best in the majority of formats when active.
News: The Denver Post reports Monday that forward Al Harrington won't play in Monday night's game against Golden State due to an injury. Harrington has been dealing with a recent right Achilles' tendon injury.
Analysis: Harrington has been an inconsistent Fantasy option for the majority of the season, so even if he's able to play Wednesday at Utah he should be reserved in most formats. The Nuggets likely want to make sure Harrington is 100 percent healthy for the upcoming playoffs.
News: Nuggets F Al Harrington was able to play through a right Achilles injury during Sunday's 95-90 win over the Lakers. Harrington, who was listed as a game-time decision entering the contest, finished with six points on 2 of 4 shooting from the field. He went 1 of 3 from behind the arc and also chipped in with one rebound and a steal while logging 12 minutes off the bench.
Analysis: Harrington didn't play a ton of minutes on Sunday, but at least he was able to play through his injury. He has been playing very of late for the Nuggets, scoring in double figures in four of his last five contests. However, Achilles' injuries can be a little tricky, so Fantasy owners in daily formats may want to keep an eye on his status moving forward just to be on the safe side. Harrington can be considered a low-end Fantasy option, when healthy.
News: The Denver Post reports, Nuggets F Al Harrington will be listed as a game-time decision for Sunday's contest against the Lakers because of a right Achilles injury. Harrington left during the second half of Saturday's win over the Kings after his right Achilles' tendon tightened up on him.
Analysis: Harrington has been playing very of late for the Nuggets, scoring in double figures in four straight contests. However, he is now dealing with a right Achilles injury that could cost him some games. Fantasy owners in daily formats should continue to monitor his status leading up to tipoff on Sunday. Harrington's recent strong play has made him a very valuable asset in most daily formats over the stretch run of the season.
News: Denver forward Al Harrington had 27 points, including five 3 pointers, to lead the Nuggets to a 115-112 win over the Spurs on Wednesday night. Harrington had been regulated to the bench for two straight games before getting some action on Monday. According to AOLNews.com, Harrington said after the game that he "took some things personal'' when he got a DNP-CD last Saturday at Miami. Harrington would shoot 8 for 12 from the field -- 5 for 6 from beyond the 3-point arc -- and convert 6 of his 9 foul shots on Wednesday. He added three boards, two assists and a steal in his 28 minutes of action.
Analysis: There were rumors Harrington was benched because the team is so deep and also that he was injured. But the fact of the matter is he's back in the rotation and finally producing for Fantasy owners. He hasn't had a great season for the Nuggets, which has dropped his value in all formats. He started the season being owned in 90 percent of CBSSports.com leagues, and is currently owned in less than 50 percent of leagues. Despite his solid performance on Wednesday, Harrington remains a risky start based on his inconsistency.
News: For a second straight game, Denver forward Al Harrington did not get off the bench. He was active, but received a DNP - coach's decision. Harrington is averaging 10.2 points and 4.8 boards in around 23 minutes in his 62 games this year. The Nuggets would end up losing to the Heat, 103-98.
Analysis: It's unclear if there is an injury or if Harrington has fallen out of the rotation in Denver. But one thing is crystal clear -- his Fantasy value just got lower. The big question will come in the next game if Denver is without Arron Afflalo and Raymond Felton. If Harrington doesn't play again and no report of an injury surfaces, one can only assume he's out of the rotation. Another possibility is coach George Karl wanting to see what his new players have to bring to the table. Harrington should not be active in many formats at this stage of the season.
News: Though there hasn't been a report on an injury, Denver PF Al Harrington was an inactive for Friday's game against the Magic. It was also the first game forward Danilo Gallinari was available after missing eight outings with a broken toe. He came off of the bench and finished with 17 points in 26 minutes of playing time.
Analysis: Harrington might not be hurt, but his jump shot has suffered mightily in March after a bad February. He has failed to shoot 40 percent in each month, and is shooting 23 percent from 3-point range. Harrington has also failed to score a single point twice in the last five games, after scoring in every game he played in previously this season. Coach George Karl has been very pleased with the depth on the new-look Nuggets, so don't be surprised if the big man is shelved for a few games with Gallo back. Either way, he has underachieved to a new degree since the Carmelo Anthony trade went down, and Fantasy owners should not rely on Harrington in any capacity at this point.
News: Altitude Television reports Denver PF Al Harrington is listed as inactive for Friday's game against the Magic. He hasn't reportedly suffered an injury.
Fantasy owners have kept him active in 12 percent of CBSSports.com leagues, but he hasn't played at a level worthy of that attention for some time. There might be better options on the waiver wire at this point.
News: Though he's had a trio of 2-point games and a pair of 3-point games this season, Denver PF Al Harrington fell to a new low in Saturday's loss to the Clippers. He failed to score a single point for the first time since donning a Denver uniform in any game he played in. Harrington missed on all eight shots he attempted in 18 minutes of playing time, including four from beyond the arc. To make matters worse, he even turned the ball over twice in the limited playing time. Harrington's only other contribution to the game was four total rebounds.
Analysis: Harrington has seen a major decline in offensive production since his Golden State and New York days, but this is a whole other level. Not only did he put up a goose-egg Saturday, but it was the eighth straight game he failed to score more than eight points. He averages just 10.6 points per game this season, eclipsing that number only twice since January 26. Fantasy owners should not trust him in any capacity at this point unless the team deals with some additional re-shuffling in the lineup, which is unlikely considering their success since trading Carmelo Anthony. Drop him an move on if possible.
News: To put it simply, Denver PF Al Harrington is no longer much of a Fantasy option. Harrington scored just three points over six minutes on Monday night in a win over Atlanta. He shot 1 for 4 from the field and added three boards and a block.
Analysis: Harrington is averaging 15.4 minutes per game over his last five and is putting up 5.2 points, 3.6 rebounds and isn't shooting all that well. He can be avoided in all but the deepest Fantasy leagues at this point.
News: Denver PF Al Harrington continued his woeful shooting on Monday night at Houston. Harrington, after being limited in minutes in his previous two games and shooting 3 for 8 in those contests, took 11 shots over 21 minutes on Monday. He made just four of those shots and scored 12 points. Harrington went 1 for 6 from long range and added two rebounds.
Analysis: Harrington has simply been horrendous over his last 10 contests. He is averaging 6.9 points, 6.3 rebounds and little else over that span of games. Other than the rebounding, Fantasy owners can really start avoiding him in most 10- and 12-team leagues.
News: After dealing with plantar fasciitis at the end of January, Nuggets PF Al Harrington has been hobbled, playing a variety of minutes while testing the foot. After playing 34 minutes Monday, he saw just 21 minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Warriors. Still, Harrington made the most of the time offensively, scoring 18 points on 7 of 15 shooting, including 2 of 6 from beyond the arc. He added eight rebounds and even chipped in an assist and a steal on the night.
Analysis: Harrington scored more Wednesday than in any of the five games since returning to the lineup after a two-game hiatus. He has never been afraid of hoisting up shots from any position on the floor, but they are starting to find the net more than they did once he returned from the injury. His rebounding has also been solid since the return, as he's averaging seven per night -- well above his 5.2 average for the entire season. Harrington appears to be combating the issue as well as he can, and now the numbers are picking up. Fell free to utilize the streaky big-man as a low-end Fantasy option moving forward barring a setback.
News: Nuggets PF Al Harrington played 34 minutes in Monday's loss to the Rockets, the most action he's seen since missing a couple of games with plantar fasciitis.
Analysis: Harrington was a trooper on Monday, as he's clearly bothered by this nagging foot problem that isn't likely to go away any time soon. Harrington went for 10 points and seven boards in the loss, which is about what Fantasy owners can expect from him on a nightly basis, so they should get him back active in deeper leagues.
News: Denver PF Al Harrington played through his left foot strain on Wednesday night against Portland. Harrington said prior to the game that he would "try to play" against the Blazers and that clearly indicates that he wasn't feeling 100 percent healthy. Still, he gave it a go in the game and saw 22 minutes on the floor. He played well, in fact, shooting 3 of 5 from the field with a 3-pointer to score seven points. Harrington added nine rebounds and two steals.
Analysis: Harrington was active but is still not 100 percent healthy, clearly as he was unsure he'd even play earlier in the day. Fantasy owners will likely have to continue to monitor him over the next few games. When healthy, Harrington has been a very inconsistent Fantasy option this season. However, he is capable of putting up good numbers from beyond the arc with decent rebounding and remains a viable play when healthy and going well.
News: According to the team's official website, Nuggets coach George Karl said Wednesday afternoon that Al Harrington (foot) would "try to play" on Wednesday night against Portland. on Tuesday, Karl had said that he did not think Harrington would play.
Analysis: Either way, Harrington is clearly not 100 percent. That makes him a player to avoid activating in daily leagues until he can prove healthy and productive again. When healthy, Harrington has been a very inconsistent Fantasy option this season. However, he is capable of putting up good numbers from beyond the arc with decent rebounding and remains a viable play when healthy and going well. Right now, neither is the case.
News: The Denver Post reports that Nuggets coach George Karl doesn't expect PF Al Harrington (foot) to play Wednesday against the Trail Blazers.
Analysis: Harrington missed back-to-back games on Sunday and Monday with this foot issue, which is plantar fasciitis -- something that won't be going away any time soon. Harrington is worth stashing away in the majority of Fantasy formats, but he shouldn't be starting until he's back on the court and contributing as he should.
News: Nuggets forward Al Harrington's case of plantar fasciitis in his left foot kept him out of commission for Monday's game in New Jersey. Harrington was inactive for Sunday's game as well after aggravating the injury on Friday against the Cavaliers. Harrington is loosely regarded as day to day for the Nuggets.
Analysis: Harrington has a partially torn plantar fascia in his left foot, which he first suffered in the preseason before aggravating it again last Friday. Fantasy owners probably would be best off keeping him reserved for Fantasy Week 15 (Jan. 30-Feb. 6). The Nuggets play four times during the scoring period but Harrington could miss a few of those games. Harrington can be considered a low-end Fantasy option for his ability to shoot from downtown, when healthy.
News: Denver PF Al Harrington (plantar fasciitis) continues to deal with his left foot problem and was inactive for Sunday's game at Philadelphia. Harrington aggravated the injury in Friday's tilt against Cleveland. He is day to day.
Analysis: Harrington has a partially torn plantar fascia in his left foot, which he first suffered in the preseason before aggravating it again on Friday. Although is is listed as day to day, Harrington will now be an injury risk heading into Fantasy Week 15 (Jan. 30-Feb. 6). The Nuggets play four times during the upcoming scoring period, so Fantasy owners should check his status before lineups lock on Monday. Harrington can be considered a low-end Fantasy option for his ability to shoot from downtown, when healthy.
News: According to the Denver Post , Nuggets forward Al Harrington (plantar fascia) is not expected to play in Sunday's game at Philadelphia. Harrington, who aggravated the injury in Friday's tilt against Cleveland, is still considered day to day.
News: Nuggets F Al Harrington left the arena on crutches and in a walking boot after aggravating a foot injury in the fourth quarter on Friday's 117-103 win over the Cavaliers. He scored just two points on 0 for 5 shooting, including missing all four of his attempts from beyond the arc. He converted 2 of 4 free throws for his only points. Harrington, who played 26 minutes off the bench, also had six rebounds and three assists in the victory. Coach George Karl said Harrington is day to day.
Analysis: Harrington has a partially torn plantar fascia in his left foot and has been dealing with the injury since the preseason. He is having a down season in his first year with Denver and is averaging just 10.8 points with 5.4 rebounds over his last five contests. He is shooting 41.7 percent from the field over that span and 35.7 percent from downtown. Fantasy owners should keep an eye on his status going forward as if he is not able to play Sunday against the 76ers, he will be an injury risk for the upcoming scoring period. Harrington has been useful in spurts this season, but should be considered a low-end Fantasy option, when healthy.
News: Denver forward Al Harrington was coming off a solid outing on Tuesday where he went 6 for 8 from behind the 3-point arc. Harrington got the start for Kenyon Martin on Wednesday in Detroit, but struggled with his shot against the Pistons. He would go 4 fro 13 from the floor -- 2 for 9 from downtown -- finishing with just 10 points. Harrington would add two assists, one steal and seven rebounds in his 38 minutes of court time. The Nuggets would prevail, 109-100.
Analysis: Harrington has been streaky for the Nuggets this year, which doesn't really bode well for Fantasy owners. He was coming off a 21-point effort off the bench, but with 11 more minutes, Harrington produced 11 less points. He continues to baffle Denver and Fantasy owners as no one knows what to expect from him on a nightly basis. He is a great source of 3-pointers as he's connected on 89 this year. Owners in deeper leagues should consider using Harrington when the Nuggets play four games, giving him plenty of chances to produce on the court. He's a low-end forward option at this time.
News: Denver PF Al Harrington had an excellent performance off the bench on Tuesday in a relatively easy win over Washington. Harrington played 27 bench minutes and nailed six 3-pointers in eight tries. He went 7 of 12 from the floor overall in the performance and scored 21 points. Harrington added five rebounds, two assists and two steals in the contest.
Analysis: Harrington has nailed 87 3-pointers in 40 games this season and is shooting over 40 percent from deep. That comes over just 25.5 minutes per game as well. Harrington is not an elite Fantasy option because he plays limited minutes and is scoring just 12.1 points per game. Still, games like Tuesday's show he can still fill it up. As long as he's hitting his shots, Harrington can be used in deeper Fantasy formats.
News: Denver forward Al Harrington scored nine points -- all on 3-pointers -- in the Nuggets' 112-107 victory over Oklahoma City on Wednesday night. Harrington finished 3 of 7 in the game, the seventh time this season Harrington has recorded all of his field goals from beyond the 3-point arc. Harrington, whose streak of games with double digits in points ended at six, added two rebounds in 21 minutes.
Analysis: Harrington has been sensational from beyond the arc recently and is now 14 of 28 (50 percent) in his last five games, which includes two outings with four treys. With Carmelo Anthony still uncertain to be traded, Harrington's production will likely continue to hover around his season averages of 12.3 PPG and 5.1 RPG). Fantasy owners should monitor his output and consider him a low-end Fantasy option at forward.
News: Denver forward Al Harrington didn't do too much for the Nuggets on Tuesday night, but he didn't need to. Harrington, who has been dealing with a back strain, played 20 minutes against the Suns. The veteran missed some games last week with this back issue, but was able to take the court on Tuesday. He shot 3 for 9 from the field -- 1 for 3 from downtown -- and going a perfect 3-for-3 at the charity stripe. He finished with 10 points, four rebounds and five assists. Denver would go on to win the game, 132-98, as most of the banged up players got some rest down the stretch.
Analysis: Harrington didn't play awful, but he hasn't been great in Denver either. With his name tied to Carmelo Anthony and some trade rumors, his future is unclear. But with Harrington scoring 12.0 points, 4.5 boards and 1.8 assists over his last five games, he's not doing much for Fantasy owners. Owners should keep a close eye on him moving forward -- for his health and possibility of being traded. When healthy, Harrington is a low-end forward option in most Fantasy formats.
News: According to The Arizona Republic, Nuggets coach George Karl said forward Al Harrington will try to play on Tuesday against the Suns. He's been dealing with a back strain, which caused him to miss some action last week.
Analysis: Harrington's name has been swirling in the trade rumors with Carmelo Anthony, so his Fantasy value is up in the air, much like his future. He's averaging 12.6 points over his last three games, but has not been as effective as Denver was hoping when they signed him during the offseason. He's a good source of 3-pointers, when healthy. Continue to monitor his progress during the week, and also whether he remains in Denver. Harrington is a low-end forward in most Fantasy formats.
News: The Nuggets' official website reports that PF Al Harrington (back strain) is expected to play Tuesday against the Suns.
Analysis: Harrington's scoring is down to only 12.2 points a game this season, but he had 20 on Sunday against the Hornets and could be one of the players who would benefit if Carmelo Anthony leaves town. However, Harrington has been mentioned in the trade talks, so don't read too much into his future at this point. If Harrington makes it through this week healthy, he will remain a decent starting option in the majority of Fantasy formats as a low-end forward.
News: The Denver Post reports that Nuggets forward Al Harrington missed practice Monday with a back strain and is considered questionable for Tuesday's game against the Suns. Harrington is coming off two solid games against New Orleans and Sacramento with 35 points and nine rebounds while playing in 31 minutes in each outing.
Analysis: Keep an eye on Harrington, who is one of several players who could be part of a three-team trade involving Carmelo Anthony and Chauncey Billups. As for his playing status, the Nuggets have four games in the upcoming scoring period, but Harrington should be considered an injury risk since he just missed four games with a dislocated thumb. When healthy, Harrington is a decent starting option in the majority of leagues, as evidenced by his play the past two games. But Fantasy owners should use caution for the upcoming scoring period in case he misses time with the bad back.
News: After missing time due to a dislocated right thumb and struggling in his first game back, Nuggets F Al Harrington played well on Thursday and followed it up with another solid performance on Sunday night against the Hornets. He scored 20 points and hauled in seven rebounds in the 96-87 loss. He went 7 of 13 from the field, including 2 for 4 from downtown, and converted 4 of 5 free throws. Harrington, who played 31 minutes off the bench, also chipped in with two steals in the defeat.
Analysis: Harrington went through a bit of a rough patch towards the end of December but has has scored 35 points over his last two contests and has been shooting well from the floor. He is still playing through the thumb injury but it appears to be getting better with each passing day and it certainly did not effect him on Sunday night. Harrington has always been known as a streaky player but he can fill up the stat sheet like few others on nights that he is on. Continue to monitor his production during the upcoming scoring period but Fantasy owners should continue to roll with the 30-year-old in deeper leagues, especially while he's playing like this.
News: Denver forward Al Harrington returned to the Nuggets lineup Wednesday and scored three points while grabbing five rebounds in a 106-93 loss to the Clippers. Harrington, who missed four games after dislocating his right thumb against Philadelphia on Dec. 26, connected on just 1 of 7 from the field -- a 3-pointer. It matched his second-lowest point total of the season and was the third consecutive game all of his points came on 3-pointers.
Analysis: Harrington told reporters before the game his thumb was not 100 percent healed but the pain was tolerable enough to play through. The veteran played 19 minutes and seemed to still be bothered by the injury as he endured one of his worst shooting performances of the season. With Kenyon Martin back in the lineup for Denver, Harrington will see most of his playing time off the bench unless Martin struggles. Consider him worth owning in deeper leagues as a mid-range Fantasy forward.
News:The Denver Post reports that Nuggets coach George Karl cleared Al Harrington (thumb) to return for Wednesday's game at the Clippers. He had been considered probable. Harrington had missed four straight games with a dislocated right thumb. He was injured on Dec. 26 against Philadelphia.
Analysis: Harrington is playing a very reduced role these days and now that Kenyon Martin is back in the mix his role figures to remain capped. He has averaged 10.8 points and 4.5 rebounds in December and is merely worth owning in deeper leagues at this point for his potential upside if he gets a chance to play a more significant role.
News: According to Denver's official team website, forward Al Harrington said he will play against the Clippers on Wednesday. Harrington has missed four straight games with a dislocated right thumb. He was injured on Dec. 26 against Philadelphia.
Analysis: The Nuggets play three more times in Week 11 (Jan. 3-9), so if Harrington in fact plays on Wednesday, his Fantasy value will go up. Unfortunately, Harrington's value isn't as high as it could be. He's averaged 10.8 points and 4.5 rebounds in December. It may be wise to wait and see how Harrington performs this week before activating. When healthy, Harrington should be viewed as viable forward option in deeper Fantasy formats.
News: Denver PF Al Harrington (thumb) missed his fourth consecutive game on Monday against Houston, reports NBA.com. Harrington has a dislocated right thumb but coach George Karl hopes he'll return Wednesday against the Clippers. He was injured on Dec. 26 against Philadelphia.
Analysis: Harrington should be treated as day-to-day going forward. He has had a shaky role all season for the Nuggets and averaged just 10.8 points and 4.5 rebounds in December. There is no rush to activate him given his current circumstances, especially at less than 100 percent.
News:The Denver Post reports that Al Harrington (thumb) was ruled out for Monday's game against Houston. Harrington tested his thumb during Monday's shootaround to determine his availability.
Analysis: Harrington should be treated as day-to-day going forward. He has had a shaky role all season for the Nuggets and averaged just 10.8 points and 4.5 rebounds in December. There is no rush to activate him given his current circumstances, especially at less than 100 percent.
News: Nuggets F Al Harrington (thumb) told his team's official website that he plans to test his thumb during Monday's shootaround to determine his availability for Monday's game against Houston. He remains questionable for the game.
Analysis: Harrington has had a shaky role all season for the Nuggets and averaged just 10.8 points and 4.5 rebounds in December. There is no rush to activate him given his current circumstances, especially at less than 100 percent.
News: Denver forward Al Harrington missed his third straight game because of a dislocated thumb on Saturday. The Nuggets are considering him day to day and will likely have him test his thumb in the team's shootarounds prior to games to see if he can go.
Analysis: Harrington and the Nuggets play four games in Week 11 (Jan. 3-9), so Fantasy owners should monitor his status closely. If he's healthy enough to play, Harrington should be viewed as a low-end starting forward. He's a source of 3-pointers and points, when healthy. Harrington is averaging 12.0 points and 5.1 rebounds per game for the Nuggets this year in 29 games.
News: Nuggets forward Al Harrington told the Denver Post it "doesn't look good" for him to play on Saturday against the Kings. He's going to test his injured thumb at the team's shootaround before the game. He dislocated right thumb which he injured on Sunday against Philadelphia and has missed two games because of it.
Analysis: Fantasy owners in daily formats should see if Harrington is healthy enough for Saturday's game, but chances are he's going to sit. The Nuggets play three times in Week 11 (Jan. 2-9), so hopefully more is known about his thumb injury before then. Harrington is averaging 12 points and 5.1 rebounds per game for the Nuggets this year in 29 games. He's also made 59 3-pointers, which is a nice plus for Fantasy owners. Monitor him before setting those lineups, but when he's healthy, Harrington is worthy of starting in deeper category-based Fantasy leagues.
News: Denver PF Al Harrington missed Tuesday's game against Portland and will miss Wednesday's game at Minnesota as well with a thumb injury. Harrington has a dislocated right thumb which he injured on Sunday against Philadelphia.
Analysis: The earliest that Harrington can now return would be Jan. 1 against Sacramento. Fantasy owners should keep him out until then. When healthy, Harrington was averaging 12 points and 5.1 rebounds per game for the Nuggets with 59 3-pointers made in 29 games. He is worth starting in deeper Fantasy leagues across the board, when healthy.
News:The Denver Post reports that X-rays on Al Harrington's right thumb came back negative after he dislocated the thumb on Sunday against Philadelphia. The team lists him as day-to-day.
Analysis: Harrington may be listed as day-to-day, but don't be surprised to see him miss a couple of games as a result of the thumb. He remains highly questionable going into Week 10 (Dec. 27-Jan. 2) and is a player we advise reserving in favor of healthy options. In his absence, Chris Andersen managed a season-high 11 rebounds on Sunday.
News: The Nuggets, already playing short-handed without Carmelo Anthony, lost forward Al Harrington to a dislocated right thumb early in the second quarter on Sunday. Harrington was hurt when Philadelphia forward Thaddeus Young tipped the ball away from him as he brought it upcourt. He left the game for X-rays and did not return, another blow to the struggling Nuggets. Philly would win the game, 95-89. He finished with three points on a 1-for-2 shooting performance and one rebound.
Analysis: Harrington isn't having an awful year for the Nuggets, but it's definitely not going as good as they'd like. Over his last five games Harrington is averaging 8.2 points, 1.0 assist and 3.2 boards per outing. Denver plays three games in Week 10 (Dec. 27-Jan. 2), but with him hurting, it's unclear if he'll miss any time. When healthy he's a low-end starting forward. Now that he is a bit banged up and with 'Melo returning, it may be wise to find a healthier alternative for the week.
News: Denver forward Al Harrington has found the range from downtown over his last five games. He's shooting 17 for 39 (44 percent) over that span. He capped it off with a 3-for-6 outing on Thursday night against San Antonio. Harrington would score 12 points off the bench for the Nuggets, but only contribute one assist and was shut out on the glass. The Nuggets would end up losing a wild one, 113-112, as Carmelo Anthony was called for a charge on what would have been a game-winning shot.
Analysis: Harrington has been up and down off the bench for the Nuggets all year. He's averaging 16.0 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists in about 27 minutes of action. He doesn't get as many rebounds as people think he would, but is still a decent contributor on the boards. His streaky play is frustrating, but he does have the talent to be considered a solid option in Fantasy leagues. Until he puts a few more good games together, he'll remain a low-end starting forward option in most Fantasy formats.
News: Denver PF Al Harrington was back to shooting poorly on Tuesday night in a win over Orlando. Harrington, who scored 31 points on 12 of 19 shooting just two games ago against Toronto and had 19 points on 6 of 8 shooting the next game in New York, shot just 4 of 10 from the field against the Magic to score 12 points. All 10 of his shots came from 3-point range in the game. He added seven rebounds and three assists.
Analysis: Harrington set up a tent and started a fire on the 3-point line and didn't leave all night on Tuesday against the Magic. It worked as the Nuggets won the game despite not having the services of starting point guard Chauncey Billups. Still, Fantasy owners have to be maddened by the fact that Harrington can be so good with an all-around performance against the Raptors and Knicks and then come right back down to Earth against the Magic on Tuesday. He's been pretty mediocre all season and really needs to maintain a hot streak. Until then, he's just streaky Fantasy option best used in deeper formats.
News: Nuggets forward Al Harrington broke out of his scoring slump to drop in a season-high 31 points in Friday's 123-116 win over the Raptors. Harrington, who had posted four straight single digit scoring totals prior to Friday, shot 12 of 19 from the floor and grabbed six rebounds in the victory. He went 6 of 11 from downtown and also chipped in with three assists in 36 minutes off the bench.
Analysis: Harrington had really struggling to score prior to Friday's contest, so maybe this will get him back on track moving forward. He is a decent source for 3-pointers and rebounds, but struggles with consistency at times. Still, he has some appeal as a sleeper play in deeper lineup leagues given his track record. Consider him a quality reserve at this point.
News: The Nuggets decided to hold back F Carmelo Anthony for Wednesday's game against the Celtics due to right knee inflammation. Al Harrington was given the start in his place.
Analysis: Harrington averaged 7.6 points and 5.6 rebounds in five games heading into play on Wednesday night. He has some appeal as a sleeper play in deeper lineup leagues given his track record, but is not going to be a recommended play in weekly formats barring a significant increase in playing time on a consistent basis. He is averaging just over 20 minutes per game over the last two weeks.
News: Denver PF Al Harrington has only scored in double figures once in his last five games and could muster just seven on Tuesday in a loss at Charlotte. Harrington played 20 minutes in the game and shot just 2 for 8 from the field with a 3-pointer to score seven points. He grabbed three rebounds and added two steals.
Analysis: Harrington has been pathetic of late, averaging just 7.6 points per contest over his last five games. With 5.6 rebounds and little else to speak of, Harrington is playing like someone barely even viable in deeper leagues at the moment. We figure he'll turn things around soon enough, though. He's too good not to keep on rosters in most leagues through this slump.
News: Nuggets F Al Harrington had a productive game off the bench on Wednesday against the Bucks. He scored 14 points with seven rebounds in 27 minutes off the bench, though he did struggle from the field. He shot 5 of 15 and is just 17 of 48 (35.4 percent) from the field over his last five games.
Analysis: Harrington is averaging just 9.6 points over his last five contests as a result of his struggles. He has had the occasional big game here and there, but is far too inconsistent to trust in Fantasy at the moment. He remains worthy of stashing on your bench as a player with upside for mid-teens scoring and about six boards per game when he's playing well.
News: When Nuggets PF Chris Andersen returns from knee surgery -- which should happen "sooner than later," coach George Karl said Thursday, Al Harrington could become the team's starting power forward, according to the Denver Post, with Shelden Williams moving to the bench.
Analysis: If Karl felt like he had more firepower available off the bench, he'd be more willing to use Harrington as a starter. Harrington is more of a scorer than anything else. He doesn't rebound particularly well for a power forward, but he hits a ton of threes. His production would likely increase with a move to the starting lineup. He's worth using as a No. 3 or 4 Fantasy forward.
News: Denver PF Al Harrington scored 14 points off the bench on Monday in a loss to Phoenix. Harrington shot 6 for 15 from the field over 34 minutes on the floor. He added five rebounds, four assists and two steals in the game.
Analysis: Harrington is only averaging 13.7 points per game on the year and that is below his career scoring average. He's not getting to the hoop as he did in previous seasons and so far hasn't been great for Fantasy owners in Denver. He can continue to be active in the majority of Fantasy leagues, but he's not the player he's been in the past right now.
News: Denver PF Al Harrington hit two 3-pointers on Tuesday in a loss to the Pacers. Harrington and the Nuggets had a poor performance and the first-year Nugget managed just nine points on 2 of 6 shooting over 20 minutes on the floor. Harrington had his lowest scoring total of the season and he added just two rebounds.
Analysis: The Nuggets played terrible in general on Tuesday but Harrington was at his worst for the season. He's actually been doing less and less in his last few games instead of more and more the more he gets comfortable with his new surroundings. Nene has been hurting and it only stands to reason that Harrington plays more minutes. Instead, he got fewer on Tuesday. Pay attention to that development. Still, he could bounce right back. He definitely still belongs active in most Fantasy formats.
News: Denver PF Al Harrington continued to come off the bench as the Nuggets' sixth man with Nene missing the game. Instead starting Gary Forbes to keep Harrington in his role, the first-year Nugget performed well as the sixth man. He scored 16 points on 7 of 15 shooting and hit a 3-pointer. Harrington grabbed just two rebounds and added two assists and three steals.
Analysis: Harrington scored 28 points and grabbed 10 boards in the previous game at Houston but has otherwise performed more like he did on Wednesday. At some point, the Nuggets are going to need him to score more and that is when his Fantasy value will really rise. Until then, however, he definitely still belongs active in most Fantasy formats.
News: Denver forward Al Harrington scored 17 of his team-high 28 points in the second half on 6-for-12 shooting, including a 3-for-4 performance from 3-point range on Saturday night in Houston. He also crashed the boards well as he grabbed four offensive rebounds after halftime. Harrington was self-critical for the 14 missed shots. He was also surprised after the game when he realized he had taken 24 attempts. "I don't need to be that aggressive every night,'' he said. "But once I get into rhythm, I think that will really help us a lot, keeping floor space and giving 'Melo and Nene and Chauncey more room to work.''
Analysis: Harrington played 29 minutes on Saturday, the most action he's had through three games this season, which translated into his best game. Harrington missed the last seven games of the preseason with a left foot injury, and thinks he's still a few weeks away from feeling like himself again. Harrington hit 10 of 24 shots, including 5 for 8 from 3-point range, and grabbed 10 rebounds. "Obviously, missing all of training camp, that cost me a little bit of time,'' said Harrington, who signed with Denver as a free agent over the summer. "I'm this close, I'm feeling good. I just want to keep playing and just get into a good rhythm. It's just going to take some time.'' Harrington will continue to see a lot of action with Kenyon Martin and Chris Andersen hurt, so now that he has a few games under his belt, owners should feel a bit more comfortable starting him in the next scoring period.
News: Denver PF Al Harrington played 24 minutes off the bench in Wednesday's season opener against the Jazz. Harrington did not have a great debut with his new team as he shot just 4 of 11 from the field and scored only 10 points. He went 2 for 7 from long range, though he did grab seven rebounds and block a shot. Plus, the Nuggets played well with him in the game, though they dominated the Jazz all night with any combination of players.
Analysis: Harrington has a partially torn plantar fascia in his left foot and was playing in the game after just one minute in the preseason. His conditioning is admittedly not where it is supposed to be right now and it showed in Wednesday's debut. All that said, he's going to improve and going to get better and he still rebounded the ball well. He'll find his stroke and his points will come. If you want to keep him reserved until it does, go ahead.
News: Nuggets PF Al Harrington, who has a partially torn plantar fascia in his left foot, will play in the season opener Wednesday against the Jazz, according to the Denver Post, but he said his conditioning isn't quite where it should be after playing only one minute the entire preseason.
Analysis: Harrington thinks he should be able to play in 75 games this season despite the pain in his foot. He's a good scorer and 3-point shooter for a big man, but his numbers might take a hit after playing for the Knicks last year. Still, he's worth starting as a No. 3 Fantasy forward.
News: Denver forward Al Harrington played just 79 seconds in the preseason as he injured his left foot in the first game. He dealt with a foot injury over the summer and wasn't even expected to play to open the preseason for the Nuggets. "It's actually a relief now that I actually tore it," Harrington told the Denver Post on Friday. "Now I can just move on, excited about getting some good practices next week and then ready for the opener." The 6-foot-9 forward remains confident that he will be able to make it through most of the season, despite his setbacks. He said he plans on playing 75-plus games and that the foot was just a minor setback. Coach George Karl didn't get to see how Harrington and the rest of the starters chemistry was, but thinks Harrington looked good enough during training camp. "You're anxious to see how that would mesh, but I think almost every NBA team . . . I don't think anybody starts the season in regular-season form anymore," Karl said.
Analysis: Harrington was brought in during the offseason to give Denver some depth on the frontcourt as they deal with some injuries. The Nuggets also hoped signing a coveted free agent would be enough to entice Carmelo Anthony to sign an extension. That hasn't happened yet, and Harrington hasn't had much court time with his new running mate. Harrington averaged 17.7 points, 5.6 boards and a steal per game last year for the Knicks and could be up for a solid year in Denver. Consider him a No. 2 Fantasy forward, despite his minor foot issue.
News: Denver PF Al Harrington has vowed to be ready for the Nuggets' regular-season oepner on Oct. 27 against Utah, reports AOL Fanhouse on Tuesday. "No doubts," Harrington said when asked. Harrington suffered a partial tear of his left plantar fascia on Oct. 9. After an MRI, it was ruled he would miss two weeks. Harrington believes he can return sooner than that. "I really want to play in one of those, so we'll see how it goes,'' Harrington said of one of the two remaining preseason games for the Nuggets. "I'm going to run Wednesday, so we'll see.''
Analysis: While we're happy to hear that Harrington cares enough to vow to return by the beginning of the regular season, somehow we just don't believe his diagnosis. He may return to face the Jazz, but more than likely he's still going to need some more time. Stay tuned to more news on that front. Harrington averaged 17.7 points, 5.6 boards and a steal per game last year for the Knicks. He should be targeted as a No. 2 Fantasy forward option on Draft Day and should be a solid Fantasy contributor.
News: Nuggets forward Al Harrington is expected to miss two weeks after re-injuring his left foot in his preseason debut for his new team. The Nuggets said an MRI on Saturday confirmed that Harrington partially tore the plantar fascia in his left foot during the first quarter of Denver's 109-99 win over Portland at the Pepsi Center. Harrington is expected to start in place of Kenyon Martin, who will likely miss the first couple months of the season while recovering from knee surgery.Harrington, who dealt with plantar faciitis in his left foot this summer, was dribbling at midcourt in front of the scorer's table when he came up limping just 79 seconds into his Nuggets debut.
Analysis: Harrington will have to wait at least two more weeks to get adjusted to his new team. He was originally going to sit out the first two preseason games, so now the Nuggets will have to wait to see how is meshes with Carmelo Anthony, Chauncey Billups and company. Owners should continue to monitor him through the preseason up to Fantasy drafts. He should be targeted as a No. 2 Fantasy forward option on Draft Day. When healthy he can be a solid contributor to both the Nuggets and Fantasy teams.
News: Nuggets F Al Harrington left Friday's preseason opener against the Blazers with a foot injury. Harrington re-strained the plantar fascitis in his left foot early in the first quarter. He is listed as day to day.
Analysis: Harrington was originally going to sit out the first two preseason games, but decided to play after his foot was feeling better. Hopefully he didn't re-injure his foot too badly and will still be ready for the start of regular season. Fantasy owners should continue to monitor his status in the coming days to see when he will be able to return to the court. Consider Harrington a good target as a No. 2 forward again in Fantasy drafts, injury concerns and all.
News:The Denver Post reports that Nuggets F Al Harrington dealt with plantar fasciitis pain in his left foot over the summer. He could miss the team's first two preseason games, but does not expect to miss regular season action.
Analysis: Harrington would miss early preseason games only as a precaution. Fantasy owners should not be put off by the injury, but plantar fasciitis has been an extreme pain for players like Joakim Noah last season and could have some type of effect in the long run. Consider Harrington a good target as a No. 2 forward again in Fantasy drafts, injury concerns and all.
News: Forward Al Harrington's first visit Tuesday to Denver since signing with the Nuggets as a free agent included passing the physical exam that sealed the deal and a frank get-to-know-you session with coach George Karl. "He just told me some of the things he doesn't like about my game," Harrington said with a laugh. "There were more things he liked than didn't like. And the things that he told me about, I can definitely change. I'm not worried about it. I feel like I'm going to fit in great." Harrington was signed last week to a contract guaranteeing him about $26 million over the next five years, contingent upon passing a physical. That formality was cleared Tuesday.
Analysis: The Nuggets are counting on Harrington to give their frontcourt a boost, especially with Nene, Chris Andersen and Kenyon Martin all coming off injuries. The 6-foot-9 Harrington likely will play power forward opposite Carmelo Anthony. He'll get a chance to be the primary power forward in Denver with Kenyon Martin questionable for the start of the season after undergoing offseason knee surgery. Harrington is a far superior offensive weapon to Martin and should see a good share of the playing time up front even once K-Mart does return. His presence will help take some of the offensive pressure off Carmelo Anthony. Consider Harrington a good target as a No. 2 forward again in Fantasy drafts.
News: The Denver Nuggets and free agent forward Al Harrington agreed to terms on a five-year deal. Harrington averaged 17.7 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 72 appearances for the Knicks during the 2009-10 regular season.
Analysis: All in all, this is not a bad move for Harrington's Fantasy appeal. He will leave New York's free-flowing offensive scheme for another team that plays a high volume in Denver.
News: The New York Post reports forward Al Harrington, who underwent shoulder surgery in April, would welcome a return to the Knicks. Harrington will be a free agent and hoped to delay arthroscopic surgery on his AC joint until after the season, but the pain after a collision with Bill Walker prompted him to do it before the year was out. Plus, his rehab will take 3-4 months, and he wants to be healthy come July 1. "As far as my future, I want to finish my career in New York," Harrington said. Coach Mike D'Antoni wouldn't rule out Harrington's return. "There's going to be a thousand scenarios out there and I like Al," D'Antoni said. "He puts his heart and soul into everything."
Analysis: Harrington finished the season averaging 17.7 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists. He is a solid Fantasy option when healthy, but keep an eye where he lands this offseason. Harrington also expressed interest in playing for the Nets. He is a quality scorer and also provides a good source of rebounds when he's 100 percent.
News:Newsday reports that Knicks forward Al Harrington will miss the rest of the season with a shoulder injury. He is not expected to return for any of New York's final five games. It was initially reported that Harrington sat out Tuesday's game against the Celtics due to an ankle injury, but his right shoulder will likely require surgery.
Analysis: It appears safe to release Harrington in all leagues following this report. He is a quality Fantasy option when healthy, and he should return at 100 percent in 2010-11. But Harrington, who is expected to become an unrestricted free agent, has likely played his last game with the Knicks.
News: Knicks PF Al Harrington did not play in Tuesday's game against the Celtics due to a sore left ankle.
Analysis: Harrington averaged 19.6 points and 6.2 rebounds in his five previous games, seeing 30-plus minutes regardless of whether or not he's in the starting lineup. Monitor his status closely in daily formats, as he's a solid Fantasy play if healthy.
News: Knicks F Al Harrington had 26 points with four rebounds and an assist in Sunday's game at the Clippers. He started and played 35 minutes. Harrington had scored just nine points in his previous game.
Analysis: Harrington was able to get back on track after a shooting clunker against the Warriors in his previous game. He is averaging 19.6 points and 6.2 rebounds in his last five games and is seeing 30-plus minutes regardless of whether or not he's in the starting lineup. He's a solid play for the final scoring period of the season.
News: Knicks F Al Harrington (ankle) scored just nine points in a loss to the Warriors on Friday. Harrington shot 3 of 12 from the floor while adding three rebounds in 31 minutes. It was the first time he failed to score in double figures in his last five games.
Analysis: The ankle injury appears to effecting Harrington, who was playing some of his better basketball prior to the injury. With the Knicks out of playoff contention, Harrington's season remains in doubt if he feels unhealthy on the ankle. Consider him a risky option going forward.
News: Knicks forward Al Harrington tweaked his left ankle during the third quarter of Wednesday's game against the Trail Blazers and did not return. He finished with 13 points and two rebounds.
Analysis: Harrington was averaging nearly a double-double over his last five games, contributing 17.6 points and 9.4 rebounds per game despite coming off the bench. When healthy he is a very solid Fantasy option, but this injury puts the remainder of his season in doubt with the Knicks having nothing to play for the rest of the way. Monitor his status.
News: Knicks F Al Harrington scored 26 points with 17 rebounds off the bench in Monday's game at Utah. It was his first double-double in three games.
Analysis: Harrington is still averaging nearly a double-double over his last five games, contributing 17.6 points and 9.4 rebounds per game. Despite coming off the bench, he sees the minutes a starter normally would and remains a very solid Fantasy option.
News: Knicks F Al Harrington scored 23 points in a win over the Nuggets on Tuesday. Harrington shot 8 of 14 from the floor while adding nine rebounds and two steals in 36 minutes. He has now scored in double figures in four of his last five contests.
Analysis: Harrington is averaging 13.8 points and 6.2 rebounds over his last five contests. As long as Fantasy owners can see similar production from Harrington, he remains a quality Fantasy option the rest of the way.
News: Knicks F Al Harrington had just four points and three rebounds off the bench in Sunday's game against Houston. He played 23 minutes, picking up five fouls in the contest. For Harrington, it snapped a string of 14 straight games in double figures.
Analysis: Harrington is still averaging around 15 points and five rebounds in the month of March, mostly while getting 30-plus minutes per game off the bench. He was held down by foul trouble Sunday. He remains a solid play in most formats, but Fantasy owners in weekly cumulative leagues should be aware that the Knicks are the only team in the NBA to play just two games in Fantasy Week 22 (March 22-28).
News: According to the Knicks' official Web site, coach Mike D'Antoni will start ahead of F Bill Walker Friday night against Philadelphia.
Analysis: According to the report, D'Antoni is making the move so that Danilo Gallinari won't be matched up against Elton Brand. This does not appear to be a permanent move and Harrington's minutes likely won't change much anyway. Harrington remains a viable No. 2/3 Fantasy forward in standard formats.
News: Knicks F Al Harrington scored 15 points in a win over the Sixers on Monday. Harrington shot 4 of 10 from the field while adding three rebounds and two assists. He has now scored 15 points in three of his last four games.
Analysis: Harrington has remained fairly consistent in his scoring and is averaging 15.8 points over his last five contests. Unfortunately, he does not provide a good source of rebounds for a power forward. Harrington can be used as a viable No. 3 Fantasy forward.
News: Knicks PF Al Harrington helped his team beat the Pistons on Wednesday night by scoring 26 points on 10 of 17 shooting. Harrington nailed 6 of 8 from 3-point land and added eight rebounds and three assists in the win.
Analysis: Harrington has been on fire of late and has nailed 23 3-pointers in his last five games. Over that span, Harrington is averaging 26 points, 5.2 boards and 1.2 steals per game. He's playing like a must-start right now and you should be obliging.
News: Knicks F Al Harrington scored 31 points in a loss to Memphis on Saturday. With Tracy McGrady unable to play in the second half due to injury, Harrington saw increased minutes and produced. Harrington replaced McGrady in the lineup to start the second half and scored 14 points in the third quarter. It is Harrington's second straight game of 30 or more points.
Analysis: With Tracy McGrady being an enigma with his injury, look for Harrington to see increased minutes with the way he is playing. He is averaging 20 points over his last five games and with four games during Fantasy Week 19 (March 1-7), Fantasy owners should ride him while he is hot and start him across the board.
News: Although his minutes have shrunk with the arrival of Tracy McGrady, Knicks F Al Harrington had his best outing since the T-Mac trade, scoring 26 of his 37 points in the second half on Friday against the Wizards. Harrington shot 12 of 21 from the filed while adding five 3's, seven boards, two steals and four assists.
Analysis: Harrington has scored in double figures in back-to-back games and with McGrady having some slight knee issues, Harrington could potentially see more minutes, therefore increasing his Fantasy value. He is averaging nearly 20 points over his last five contests, but because of his lack of rebounds, is more like a low-end No. 2 Fantasy forward.
News: After two mediocre performances in the Knicks' previous two games, power forward Al Harrington was solid against the Celtics on Tuesday in a loss. Harrington scored 18 points on 6 for 10 shooting and went 3 for 4 from the 3-point line. He added four rebounds.
Analysis: Harrington combined for 14 points in his previous two games but was back in double figures on Tuesday. His mediocre rebounding totals for a big man keep him from being anything more than a No. 3 Fantasy forward.
News: Knicks PF Al Harrington scored 27 points in Wednesday's loss to the Bulls. In 39 minutes he shot 10 of 20 from the field, 4 of 10 from downtown. He added two rebounds, five assists and two steals.
Analysis: Harrington has bounced back after a sub-par January, averaging 19.4 points over his last five contests. His mediocre rebounding totals for a big man keep him from being anything more than a No. 3 Fantasy forward.
News: Knicks forward Al Harrington had 17 points, two rebounds and four assists Tuesday against Sacramento. His rebounding is down of late -- only 4.0 over his past five games -- but he's still averaging 16.8 points over that span.
Analysis: Harrington is always going to do better as a scorer than a rebounder, but he's worth starting in all leagues. Hopefully his rebounding will improve following the All-Star break, but as long as he continues to score at a high level than Fantasy owners will be happy.
News: Knicks F Al Harrington scored 16 points in a 113-106 loss to Cleveland on Saturday. Harrington played 29 minutes shooting 6 of 14 from the field while adding one rebound, steal, and assist.
Analysis: Harrington is consistently scoring in double digits for the Knicks when he is healthy. However, his production in rebounds has dropped over a rebound per game during his last five games. He still is a must-start Fantasy option, but only as a No. 2 Fantasy forward.
News: Knicks F Al Harrington scored 22 points in a 114-107 loss to Milwaukee on Friday. In 31 minutes of play, Harrington shot 8 of 20 from the field and pitched in eight boards.
Analysis: Harrington appears to be feeling better after missing two games earlier in the week with a knee injury. When healthy Harrington is capable of going for 20-plus on any given night and is averaging around 17.8 points for the season. He is a must-start Fantasy option.
News: Knicks PF Al Harrington returned Wednesday against Washington after a two-game absence due to a knee injury. Harrington wasn't his usual dominant self as he managed 12 points and five boards over 23 minutes. Still, Harrington was efficient, shooting 5 of 9 from the field with two threes.
Analysis: Harrington will be just fine going forward and proved that on Wednesday. Harrington can be up and down based on how much New York is using him but is always worth starting in most Fantasy leagues. He averages almost 18 points and six boards on the year.
News: Knicks PF Al Harrington will play on Wednesday against Washington, reports Newsday. Harrington missed the last two games with a bruised knee.
Analysis: Harrington is averaging almost 18 points per game on the season with 5.8 rebounds. In his last two games before getting hurt, Harrington totaled 46 points and 17 boards and is clearly worth using in all leagues once full healthy. Get him back in your Fantasy lineup now.
News: Knicks F Al Harrington sat out a second straight game with a bruised knee. According to The Sports Xchange, he said he is feeling a sharp pain in his kneecap, but hoped to test it out Tuesday to see if he could be ready for Wednesday's game against the Wizards at Madison Square Garden.
Analysis: Fantasy owners will have to keep track of Harrington, but he is a serious injury risk going into the upcoming scoring period. The Knicks play just three games in Fantasy Week 15 (Feb.1-7) and Harrington is highly questionable for Wednesday's game against Washington.
News: Knicks F Al Harrington did not play in Sunday night's game against Minnesota because of a knee injury. It was the second game in a row that Harrington has sat out. He remains day-to-day.
Analysis: Fantasy owners will have to keep track of Harrington, but he is a serious injury risk going into the upcoming scoring period. The Knicks play just three games in Fantasy Week 15 (Feb.1-7) and Harrington is highly questionable for Wednesday's game against Washington.
News: According to the New York News Day, Knicks F Al Harrington will not play in Sunday night's game against Minnesota because of a knee injury.
Analysis: Fantasy owners will have to keep track of Harrington. The Knicks play four games in Fantasy Week 15 (Feb.1-7) and if healthy, Harrington contributes the necessary statistics that make him a good start in all leagues.
News: Knicks F Al Harrington, the team's second-leading scorer, did not play Saturday against Washignton due to a sore right knee. Harrington revealed on Thursday that he was going to the doctor to get treatment on his balky left knee. "It's been bothering me for six weeks," Harrington said. "It's been a while, a long time, but I was trying to hide it, and just keep playing through it. ... This one is sticking with me."
Analysis: Fantasy owners will have to keep track of Harrington. For now, he has been playing with the pain and been productive. In his last five games, Harrington has scored slightly below his season average of 17.9 points per game by scoring 15.8 points per game. However, Harrington seems to have got himself back on track by going for 20-plus in his last couple of games. Keep close tabs on him over the weekend leading to Fantasy Week 15 (Feb. 1-7).

"It's been a while, a long time, but I was trying to hide it, and just keep playing through it. ... This one is sticking with me." Harrington is questionable for Saturday's game against Washington.
Analysis: Fantasy owners will have to keep track of Harrington. For now, he has been playing with the pain and been productive. In his last five games, Harrington has scored slightly below his season average of 17.9 points per game by scoring 15.8 points per game. News: Knicks F Al Harrington scored 20 points and added seven rebounds as New York fell 106-104 to Toronto on Thursday. Harrington played 33 minutes off the bench, going 5 of 16 for the field and adding one assist. It is the second straight game that Harrington has scored 20-plus points.
Analysis: In his last five games, Harrington has scored slightly below his season average of 17.9 points per game by scoring 15.8 points per game. However, Harrington seems to have got himself back on track by going for 20-plus in his last couple of games. He is still a must-start in the majority of Fantasy leagues.
News: Knicks F Al Harrington had seven points and seven rebounds in Sunday's game against Dallas. He played 20 minutes off the bench. He has been held under 10 points in three of his last six games.
Analysis: Harrington did not play poorly, but he did not play too much in a 50-point loss to the Mavericks. He had scored 17 points in his previous game against the Pistons and while he is coming off the bench he should see around 30 minutes per game more often than not. The Knicks have good matchups in Fantasy Week 14 (Jan. 25-31) and Harrington remains a good start.
News: Knicks PF Al Harrington scored nine points and grabbed three rebounds over 18 minutes on Friday against the Lakers.
Analysis: Harrington scored 17 points on Monday against Detroit but managed just eight over 19 minutes in the game before that. One night he gets 30 minutes and scores big and the next he has mediocre stats and sees limited playing time. It is becoming hard to predict but with four games in Week 14 (Jan. 25-31) and a very favorable schedule, we have to recommend using Harrington in the majority of leagues.
News: The Knicks received 31 points from PF Al Harrington off the bench on Friday against the Raptors. He made 11 of 22 shots, including 5 of 11 3-pointers. Jefferson capped his night with five rebounds. The 31 points were his most since scoring 41 on Nov. 27 against Denver.
Analysis: Harrington missed a few games in January with a calf injury, but Friday's performance shows it is not a lingering issue. Harrington's strength is his ability to score. He shoots pretty well for a big guy. He also averages about six rebounds per game, which is pretty much par for the course. Harrington is a decent Fantasy start when healthy.
News: Knicks F Al Harrington returned to action in the New York Knicks' game against the Oklahoma City Thunder after sitting out with a strained left calf. Harrington had missed the Knicks' last two games but coach Mike D'Antoni said the forward had healed enough to play Monday night. Harrington went 2 of 5 from the field scoring nine points and adding one assist in twelve minutes of play.
Analysis: As expected, Harrington had a slow start in his first game back playing minimal minutes. However, the Knicks still have three games remaining in Fantasy Week 12 (Jan.11-17), and Harrington should get back to the 18.4 points per game he was averaging prior to Monday night making him a solid starter in all Fantasy leagues.

Analysis: The Knicks play four times in Fantasy Week 12 (Jan.11-17). This makes Harrington an attractive option to start for this week. Since he is coming back from injury, he might have a slow night his first game, but he can have a bigger Fantasy impact later in the week.
News: Knicks F Al Harrington missed his second straight game Saturday with a strained left calf.
Analysis: The Knicks play four times over Week 12 (Jan. 11-17) but Harrington is now in jeopardy of missing one or more of those contests. The four-games schedule makes him an attractive option, despite the injury, and he's normally worth starting in all Fantasy leagues.

News: The Knicks played Thursday's game against Charlotte without Al Harrington, their second-leading scorer, who had a strained left calf. He is considered day to day.
Analysis: Harrington played just 17 minutes in his most recent game, but the injury was not announced until just prior to game time and he was a late scratch. The Knicks' next game comes Saturday in Houston and owners will get a chance to salvage something out of this two-game week. Keep tabs on him leading up Week 12 (Jan. 11-17). It doesn't sound like too bad of an injury, but it's smart to have alternatives ready.
News: New York Newsday reports that Al Harrington will not play Thursday night against Charlotte due to a strained left calf. He will be day to day after that.

Analysis: Harrington has particularly struggled from ling distance of late, hitting only eight of his last 38 three-point attempts. His scoring has dropped off in a big way of late and Fantasy owners are starting to bench him a bit more often. Harrington is a No. 2 Fantasy option but needs to turn things around soon to maintain that status.
News: Knicks PF Al Harrington, who played through the stomach flu Tuesday, remained in the starting lineup Thursday at Chicago. He had 18 points, six rebounds and three assists, shooting 5 for 17 from the field and 4 for 12 from 3-point range.
Analysis: The move to the starting lineup has made Harrington more consistent, not that he was less than a must-start as a reserve. He's averaging about 20 points per games and is an excellent 3-point shooter. Start him as a No. 2 Fantasy forward.
News: Knicks PF Al Harrington played through the stomach flu on Tuesday night in a loss to Charlotte and it showed. Harrington shot just 4 of 13 from the field, including 1 of 7 from downtown, and finished with 11 points and six boards. He added two blocks over 35 minutes.
Analysis: Harrington was clearly less than 100 percent healthy on Tuesday night and this could turn into him missing the next game, so be careful of that. He's clearly worth using in all Fantasy leagues, when healthy.
News: Knicks PF Al Harrington could miss Tuesday's game at Charlotte due to battling the stomach flu, reports Newsday. Harrington scored 28 points with seven boards and four threes in his previous game at New Orleans.
Analysis: Harrington will likely be a game-time decision for the Knicks on Tuesday. When healthy, he's clearly a No. 1 Fantasy option who can be used across the board. The Knicks play four times during Week 8 (Dec. 14-20) but this could mean that Harrington is down to three remaining.
News: Knicks F Al Harrington returned to the starting lineup for the Knicks Friday in Atlanta. He scored a team-high 27 points with 5 rebounds and an assist.

Analysis: Harrington had averaged 18.9 points per game and 6.1 rebounds coming into Friday's 41-point explosion. He had a few down games lately but clearly was on his game on Friday. He remains a must-start in Fantasy.
News: Knicks PF Al Harrington had five points, six rebounds and three assists in 22 minutes Tuesday at the Lakers. He had scored in double figures in 12 of his first 13 games, averaging 22.4 over his last five.

Analysis: Harrington averaged 24.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists in the first week of the regular season. He has played well off the bench for the Knicks and no matter if he starts or not he could continue to see good minutes for one of the best offensive teams in the NBA. Continue to start him in all leagues.
News: Knicks PF Al Harrington scored 15 points in the season opener against the Heat on Wednesday. Harrington shot 5 of 14 from the field and 1 of 6 from deep. He added a steal but did not get a rebound.
Analysis: Harrington did not play up to snuff in the season opener. He needs to rebound better than zero. He's a low-end No. 1 forward option in standard scoring leagues but let's hope he improves from here.
News: Knicks F Al Harrington averaged 15.2 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game in six preseason contests. He averaged 24.8 minutes per game.
Analysis: Harrington dealt with a bruised knee early in the preseason, but was healthy and strong leading into the first week of the regular season. He's a low-end No. 1 forward option in standard scoring leagues. Fantasy owners should feel comfortable starting him in all leagues for Week 1 (Oct. 27-Nov. 1).
News: Knicks PF Al Harrington (knee) was back in action on Tuesday in a preseason game against the Celtics. Harrington started and played 35 minutes. He shot 7 of 13 from the field and 4 of 7 from three-point range and finished with 20 points. He added eight rebounds.
Analysis: Harrington played in the team's first three preseason games and has been playing well. This knee problem may linger in the regular season, but it shouldn't keep him out. Harrington remains a strong Fantasy pick in all leagues.
News: Knicks F Al Harrington sat out Friday's preseason game against the Nets with a bruised left knee. He is considered day to day.
Analysis: Harrington should not miss much action even in the preseason. He is in no real danger of missing any preseason action and remains a strong pick in all Fantasy formats.
News: Knicks PF Al Harrington scored 21 points and added six rebounds and three assists in a losing effort against the Heat on Sunday. 15 of Harrington's 21 points came during a seven-minute stretch in the second quarter.
Analysis: Harrington has been a nice addition for the Knicks this season although it wasn't close to being enough to get them into the playoffs. He is a player worth keeping active the rest of the season and will likely be a must-start guy next season as well.
News: Knicks forward Al Harrington had 23 points, eight rebounds and one assist Tuesday at Chicago. Harrington is averaging 20.8 points and 6.6 rebounds in his past five games.
Analysis: Harrington remains a solid Fantasy option in all formats. He should continue to play well to close the season and is worth starting in all leagues.

Analysis: Harrington is averaging 25 points, five boards and 2.2 steals per game over his last five contests. Plus, he is good for about three threes per night. The Knicks power forward remains a must-start option in all Fantasy leagues.
News: Knicks PF Al Harrington scored 38 points on Wednesday night in a loss to the Clippers at home. Harrington, who had 18 points combined in his last two games as he worked himself back into shape from an Achilles' injury, shot 13-of-21 with four threes. He added seven rebounds.

News: Knicks PF Al Harrington returned to action after a one-game absence due to an Achilles' issue on Saturday against the Magic in Orlando. Harrington wasn't sharp in the game, a loss by the Knicks, and scored eight points on 3-of-11 shooting. He was 1-for-5 from deep and added five rebounds and three assists.
Analysis: Harrington is still averaging 17 points per game over his last five with six boards and well over a three per night. He's a must-start at all times and the good news here is that he was able to play 35 minutes without injuring himself further. He seems safe to start in Week 22 (March 23-29).
News: The Knicks were without leading scorer Al Harrington for Friday's game against Sacramento. He missed the game with a sore left Achilles' and is considered day to day.
Analysis: Harrington hopes to play Saturday when the Knicks open a home-and-home series against the Magic. Use the weekend to determine if he will be healthy enough to use in the upcoming scoring period, when the Knicks are slated for four games.
News: Knicks F/C Al Harrington was able to play on Wednesday against the Nets despite a tweaked ankle he suffered in practice. Harrington scored 21 points to lead all Knicks in the game, adding five rebounds.
Analysis: Harrington's ankle must not have been all that bad as he didn't even miss a game because of the injury. As long as playing on it doesn't make it worse, it shouldn't be a problem going forward. Harrington should be thought of as a No. 3 Fantasy forward and a No. 2 center in formats where he's eligible at both positions.
News:Newsday reports Knicks forward Al Harrington, who hurt his right ankle in practice on Tuesday, went through the morning shootaround and is expected to play Wednesday night against the Nets. Harrington went down hard in Tuesday's practice when he stepped on Eddy Curry's foot while cutting to the basket.
Analysis: It appears safe to keep Harrington active in daily leagues. When healthy, Harrington is a No. 3 Fantasy forward and a No. 2 center in formats where he's eligible at both positions.
News:New York Newsday reports that the Knicks may be without Al Harrington for Wednesday's game against the Nets after he injured his right ankle in Tuesday's practice when, while cutting to the basket, he stepped on Eddy Curry's foot and fell to the floor.
Analysis: Harrington will be re-evaluated after tomorrow morning's shoot-around to see if he will be available for the game. Fantasy owners in daily leagues should prepare healthy alternatives. When healthy, Harrington remains a must-start in all leagues.
News: Knicks F/C Al Harrington and G Nate Robinson sat on the bench with blank expressions while the Knicks battled New Jersey down the stretch on Sunday at the Izod Center. It was an unusual move, leaving two of the most dynamic scorers on the bench. Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni was getting experience for rookie Danilo Gallinari, who was hitting key shots in the second half. Harrington and Robinson checked in for the final seconds after the Knicks were in desperation mode.
Analysis: Harrington and Robinson were simply victims of playing on a team that is clearly building toward the future and not all that concerned with winning in the present. Harrington continues to see around 20 shots per game in the offense. His rebounding numbers are decent if not great, especially for a center-eligible player in leagues that allow multiple eligibility. However, he makes up for it with his contributions in three-point shooting and steals. He remains a plug-and-play type that should start whenever he is healthy.
News: Knicks F/C Al Harrington scored 20 points with 10 rebounds in Wednesday's game against Atlanta. He has scored 20-plus points in four of his last five games.
Analysis: Harrington continues to see around 20 shots per game in the offense. His rebounding numbers are decent if not great, especially for a center-eligible player in leagues that allow multiple eligibility. However, he makes up for it with his contributions in three-point shooting and steals. He remains a plug-and-play type that should start whenever he is healthy.
News: Knicks F/C Al Harrington had 31 points, seven rebounds and four threes in Sunday's game at the Raptors. He is averaging 21.0 points with 8.4 rebounds and 13 threes over his last five games.
Analysis: Harrington is seeing 15-20 shots per game, attempting 86 field goals over his last five games. He has attempted 35 treys over that same span -- a huge number for a player eligible at center in leagues that allow for multiple eligibility. He should continue to see a high volume of shots in such a high-volume offense like the one the Knicks have.
News: Knicks PF Al Harrington scored 20 points and grabbed five rebounds in a 127-97 rout of the Raptors on Friday. It was hist first 20-point game in his last four games, scoring 24 at Golden State on Feb. 10. However, he did not put up a third straight double-double having pulled down only five rebounds.
Analysis: Harrington actually shot for a much higher percentage than he has been recently, making seven of the 10 shots he put up. He didn't have to carry much of the shooting load as the guards Wilson Chandler and Nate Robinson had big games. He is a No.1 Fantasy option who will hopefully keep his production up the rest of the season.
News: Knicks F/C Al Harrington had 19 points, 11 rebounds and three assists in Wednesday's overtime game at the Clippers, his team's final game prior to the All-Star break. He is averaging 25.6 points and 7.8 rebounds over his last five games.
Analysis: Harrington is seeing 20-plus shots per game, attempting 109 field goals over his last five games. He has attempted 37 treys over that same span -- a huge number for a player eligible at center in leagues that allow for multiple eligibility. He should continue to see a high volume of shots in such a high-volume offense like the one the Knicks have.
News:Al Harrington basked in the boos, calling them down from the rafters with both outstretched arms after he hit a 3-pointer only 61 seconds into his return to Golden State. The former Warriors forward should have saved whatever energy he possessed for playing a little defense. Harrington and his New York Knicks were just too pitiful to boo while Golden State rolled to the highest point total in the NBA this season. Despite Harrington's 22 first-half points and the Knicks' own prolific offense, Golden State faced almost no opposition. "A loss is a loss. We're trying to make the playoffs and it wasn't a thing with me versus Golden State," said Harrington, who finished with 24 points and nine rebounds in his first game back since the Warriors traded him Nov. 21 for Crawford. "I just wanted to win. It wasn't personal between me and the Warriors. It's a team game. We tried to win as hard as we could, and we just came up short."
Analysis: Harrington has scored at least 24 points in five of his past six games. He is averaging 26.6 points in his past five games and 6.8 rebounds. Harrington is playing like a No. 1 Fantasy option and hopefully these stats will remain for the rest of the season and continue to improve. Keep him active in all leagues at this time.
News: Knicks F/C Al Harrington was the Knicks' top performer against the Celtics on Friday, scoring 27 points, grabbing three rebounds and adding five steals in a 110-100 loss. His game was a step down from the 39-point, 11-rebound performance he had against Lebron and the Cavs.
Analysis: Harrington's performance this Fantasy week has been outstanding as he has really turned in on in the month of February so far. He has to be considered a No. 1 center at the moment and a pretty solid No. 2 forward.
News: Knicks PF Al Harrington should always skip practice. Dealing with knee issues, Harrington did not practice on Tuesday but erupted for 39 points and 13 rebounds on Wednesday against the Cavaliers. Harrington was 16-of-24 with three threes.
Analysis: Harrington remains a No. 2 Fantasy option that scores like a No. 1. He's also rebounding well lately with almost eight per night over his last five games. Keep him active across the board in Fantasy.
News: Knicks forward Al Harrington (sore left knee) didn't practice Tuesday but is probable for Wednesday night's game against Cleveland, reports Newsday.
Analysis: It sounds like Harrington will play against the Cavs, so keep him active in all leagues. When healthy, Harrington is a No. 2 Fantasy option.
News: Knicks PF Al Harrington shot 14-of-26 from the field and hit three three-pointers in 10 attempts on Saturday night against the Pacers en route to dropping a team-high 31 points. Harrington added eight rebounds and a steal.
Analysis: Harrington had his best scoring night in a while but is still averaging 18 points and seven boards over his last five. He's a must-start Fantasy forward across the board.
News: Knicks PF Al Harrington replaced Wilson Chandler in the starting lineup Monday against the Rockets. Harrington contributed 13 points and two rebounds in 27 minutes. He has hit double-figures in points in nine straight games, but has just two double-doubles in that span.
Analysis: Harrington was moved into the starting lineup to send Chandler a message since he was slumping as of late. Harrington could move back to the bench shortly, but still logs a ton of playing time for the Knicks. Harrington should remain a solid No. 1 Fantasy option at center or a solid No. 2 forward, depending on your league's eligibility.
News: The New York Post reports that coach Mike D'Antoni is pondering a lineup change that would move Al Harrington into the starting lineup in place of struggling Wilson Chandler.
Analysis: Harrington is getting more or less around 35 minutes per game, so this does not change his Fantasy appeal much. This is more of a negative thing for Chandler than it is a positive for Harrington, who should remain a solid No. 1 Fantasy option at center or a solid No. 2 forward, depending on your league's eligibility.
News: Knicks F/C Al Harrington had 16 points and 10 rebounds in Friday's game against Memphis. It was his first double-double in five games.
Analysis: Harrington continues to come off the bench for the Knicks, but is still getting his 30-plus minutes per contest. As long as that continues, he should be around 20 points more often than not to go with a decent amount of rebounds and some three-point shooting.
News: Knicks F/C Al Harrington scored 27 point sin 28 minutes of work, adding two rebounds and two steals to his total. He went 4-for-6 from downtown in the game as well. It's the second straight game that Harrington has cracked 20 points.
Analysis: Harrington has been slightly underperforming compared to the numbers he has put up on the season, averaging only 17 points per game, two full points off his average. He seems to be back in rhythm and should continue to put up big numbers. Keep him active at all times.
News: Knicks PF Al Harrington may have been punished for not running enough by coach Mike D'Antoni as he played 22 minutes off the bench in a loss at Houston on Saturday. Harrington shot just 1-of-10 from the floor for three points. He added five boards.
Analysis: Harrington is averaging 20-6-2 this season so the fact that those numbers look very similar at 19-6-1 over his last five games means there is really nothing to work about in Fantasy. He'll get back to normal playing time because New York needs him and he'll continue putting up solid numbers worth starting at all times.
News: The Knicks continued to start Jared Jeffries over Al Harrington on Friday night against the Pacers. New York still lost the game, 105-103, and Jeffries scored one point to Harrington's team-high 27. Harrington played 31 minutes and Jeffries 29. Jeffries did block four shots and grab five rebounds, but Harrington nailed four threes with six boards.
Analysis: Combine the two players and you have an ultimate Fantasy forward. Unfortunately the Knicks and Fantasy owners cannot combine players and they remain separate entities. That said, obviously Harrington is the far better Fantasy player. Jeffries is not yet recommended in anything but the deepest of leagues. He'll give you some boards and blocks but no scoring whatsoever. Harrington, on the bench or in the starting lineup, remains a stud with 18.8 points and 4.6 boards over his last five games. He's still a must-start even if the Knicks aren't following suit.
News: Seeking to change things up Sunday against the Nuggets, Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni tinkered with his starting lineup. He benched Al Harrington, who was averaging 22.9 points in 15 games since the Knicks acquired him from Golden State in November, and gave Jared Jeffries, a better defender with poor offensive instincts, his first start of the season.
Analysis: Harrington finished with 15 points and 26 minutes off the bench. Don't expect this to last as the Knicks still gave up 117 points in the game. Harrington remains a must-start.
News:Al Harrington scored a season-high 39 points and the New York Knicks rallied to beat the Nets 121-109 on Wednesday night. Harrington was a point shy of his career high. He added 13 rebounds, two steals and two threes.
Analysis: Harrington was averaging 22.9 points in his first eight games as a Knick and then he exploded on Wednesday night. Harrington has become a must-start Fantasy forward in New York and should be active in all leagues.
News: New York F/C Al Harrington had his best game since facing his former team (GS) against the Hawks with 27 points. However, he missed a potential game-tying three-pointer that would have forced overtime. He also had seven boards and an assist in the loss.
Analysis: Harrington continues to look like a go-to guy for Coach D'Antoni and he isn't disappointing. Harrington played 41 minutes on Friday and has been playing nearly 40 minutes every night in New York. The Knicks are utilizing his skills in a big way and should be active while he's hot.
News: Knicks F/C Al Harrington had his best game with 36 points and 12 rebounds Saturday against his former team, the Warriors. He is averaging 24.7 points and 9.3 rebounds over his first three games with the team.
Analysis: Harrington has attempted 24 and 25 shots in his last two games and seems to be the main option in the high-powered Knicks' high powered offense. He is only active in 59 percent of leagues right now, but that should not be. He should be active in all leagues for the Knicks' upcoming four-game scoring period.
News: F/C Al Harrington, who just made his debut with the Knicks on Tuesday, made his first start with his new team Wednesday at Detroit. He played power forward and had 25 points and seven rebounds in 41 minutes. He shot only 8-for-24, though.
Analysis: Harrington's value obviously increases going to New York, and it will increase more now that he has a starting spot. He seems to fit nicely in coach Mike D'Antoni's offense. As a big man who can hit a three, Harrington deserves a starting spot in all Fantasy leagues.
News: F/C Al Harrington, who hadn't played since Nov. 5 because of a dispute with his coach and an apparent back injury, made his debut with the Knicks on Tuesday against the Cavaliers following a trade earlier in the week. He played 27 minutes off the bench, finishing with 13 points, nine rebounds, three assists and four turnovers. He shot only 5-for-16 from the field, including 1-for-5 from 3-point range.
Analysis: Harrington's value obviously increases going to New York as he was not getting any playing time in Golden State anymore. He'll likely enter the starting lineup soon enough, especially since he fits nicely in coach Mike D'Antoni's offense. As a big man who can hit a three, Harrington deserves a starting spot in all Fantasy leagues.
News: The New York Daily News reports that the Knicks officially acquired Warriors forward Al Harrington Friday for Jamal Crawford in a deal that creates salary cap space for the summer of 2010. Harrington is not expected to be available for Saturday's home game against Washington. He will likely play in Tuesday's game against LeBron James and Cleveland.
Analysis: Harrington's value obviously increases going to New York as he was not getting any playing time in Golden State anymore. He'd likely be inserted into the starting lineup for the Knicks, who are a high-flying offensive team this year under Mike D'Antoni. Harrington should be owned in most Fantasy leagues again.
News: Various sources are reporting that Al Harrington has been traded to the Knicks in exchange for Jamal Crawford and Malik Rose. New York Newsday is reporting that it may be a three-team deal that also includes the Clippers. Such a deal would also include Zach Randolph and Mardy Collins going to the Clippers and Tim Thomas and Cuttino Mobley going to New York.
Analysis: There is definitely some deal going down today, but Fantasy owners should stay tuned to find out who is officially involved. Obviously, Harrington's value would increase going to New York as he was not getting any playing time in Golden State anymore. He'd likely be inserted into the starting lineup for the Knicks, who are a high-flying offensive team this year under Mike D'Antoni. No matter what happens, Harrington should be owned in most leagues again.
News: Warriors F Al Harrington missed his sixth straight game because of a lower back strain Tuesday against the Trail Blazers. There is no word on when he will return.
Analysis: The "sore back" ironically came about after the team announced it would try to trade him. Right now, Harrington is not considered a part of the team's rotation, and until a trade is made, he remains someone to reserve in Fantasy.
News: Warriors F Al Harrington missed his fifth straight game because of a lower back strain Saturday against the Clippers. There is no word on when he will return.

News: Grizzlies F/C Al Harrington remained on the inactive list Sunday against Sacramento. He's missed the last two games with a sore back.
Analysis: The "sore back" ironically came about after it was revealed that the team will look to appease his trade request. Right now, Harrington is not considered a part of the team's rotation and until a trade is made, he remains someone to reserve in Fantasy.
News: The Warriors played without PF Al Harrington Friday against the Grizzlies as the big man complained of soreness in his back and underwent an MRI earlier in the day. The test was inconclusive and Harrington is seeking a second opinion.
Analysis: Harrington, who has asked to be traded due to his ongoing feud with coach Don Nelson, probably wouldn't have started even if he was healthy. "For the good of the franchise we have to anticipate that he won't be here and do what we have to do to not be all of a sudden totally surprised about a different lineup," Nelson said before the game. "It's not that he's not going to play, he will play. But we've got to look to the future here. A guy shouldn't be in a place where he doesn't want to be. It's hard for him to give his best and his all. So it's a good thing for both parties at this point." Harrington hasn't really been a good fit for Golden State since arriving in 2006-07 and it is surprising that it has taken them this long to dump him. It appears a trade is inevitable, but first Harrington has to get healthy. Fantasy owners should take this as a sign to reserve Harrington in most Fantasy formats while this situation plays out.
News: Following Al Harrington's poor 3-point, 1-rebound performance Wednesday against Denver, head coach Don Nelson had this to say to reporters after the game, according to the San Francisco Chronicle: "Al wants to be traded, everybody knows that, and we would like to oblige him. We'd like to get a good player for him. And he's playing like he's unhappy. I kind of feel for the guy because he doesn't want to be here and it's probably very difficult to really gear up and play up to his abilities."
Analysis: Ouch. That one hurts. It seems Harrington's run in Golden State may have come to a very abrupt ending. Harrington had this to say, "Whatever's my future's my future. But when I'm playing a game, I'm going to play as hard as I can, regardless of how many minutes it is." Fantasy owners should take this as a sign to reserve him in all Fantasy formats while this situation plays out. A trade may be the best thing for all parties involved. Brandan Wright should see more playing time as a result of this and is worth adding where available.
News: The Warriors have some of the best matchups for Fantasy Week 2 (Nov. 3-9) with a full, four-game slate that includes two tilts against Memphis and games against Denver and Sacramento. The Grizzlies have played some surprisingly good defense this season early on, but they are a team that gave up 106.9 points per game last season. Denver allowed the second most points in the NBA last season (108.8 ppg) and they lost their best defensive player, Marcus Camby in the offseason. Sacramento allowed 104.8 ppg a season ago and they too lost their best defensive player, Ron Artest.
Analysis: Too bad Monta Ellis is not around to take advantage of such promising matchups. But Monta's loss can be a gain for Al Harrington. A 400-plus point week is a very likely possibility and Biedrins has gotten off to a great offensive start, averaging 17.7 ppg in the first week to go with 7.9 rebounds. Consider him a great start in any league for Week 2.
News: Warriors F/C Al Harrington scored 13 points with seven rebounds, three assists, three steals and two three-pointers in Wednesday's season opener against New Orleans. He shot 5-for-17 from the field in 42 minutes of action.
Analysis: Harrington is sometimes a victim of Don Nelson's whimsical coaching style. He'll get playing time at just about every position on the court and will find himself starting one night and not the next. That, for the most part, is the reason his numbers have declined in Golden State in comparison to what he averaged in Indiana and Atlanta. But with Monta Ellis suspended/injured and Baron Davis is L.A., the team may need to lean on him a bit more.
News: The Warriors will play three games in Fantasy Week 1 (Oct. 27-Nov. 2). They begin the season on Oct. 29 against New Orleans, moving on to play at Toronto on Oct. 31 and at New Jersey on Nov. 1. The Hornets allowed just 95.6 ppg last season, the Raptors 97.3 and the Nets 100.9.
Analysis: The Warriors will be without Monta Ellis for the first month and a half of the season, creating a situation for a rookie to start the year at point guard. DeMarcus Nelson has been tabbed as the starter for the beginning of the season, winning the job over more experienced Marcus Williams. While he is worth picking up as a reserve in the hopes he proves useful, Week 1 is not the right time to start him. He'll be matchup up against Chris Paul, Jose Calderon and Devin Harris. It could be a tough week for the rookie. Corey Maggette, Stephen Jackson and Andris Biedrins should be considered safe starts in a three-game week. Al Harrington can be useful as a low-end option at forward or as a No. 2 center. Kelenna Azubuike is worth owning as a reserve, but is a very low-end starting option for now. Williams showed in the preseason that he can't be relied upon yet. Marco Belinelli, Barandan Wright and Anthony Randolph are just player to monitor for now.
News: Warriors F/C Al Harrington was able to retain his center eligibility looking toward the 2008-09 regular season by making 17 of his 59 starts at center. He averaged fewer points as a center (11.6), but more rebounds (6.1).
Fantasy owners should expect a similar season from him in 2008-09, but he'll be worth a pick as a No. 2 center or a No. 3 or 4 forward in most Fantasy formats.
News: Warriors center Al Harrington had 20 points, three rebounds and two assists Thursday against Denver.
Analysis: Harrington's up-and-down season continues. When he plays like this, he's worth using as a No. 2 center or No. 3 Fantasy forward.
News: Golden State F/C Al Harrington had 17 points, seven rebounds and three assists Tuesday against the Kings.

News: Warriors F/C Al Harrington had 13 points with 10 rebounds in Sunday's win over the Lakers, giving him double-doubles in back-to-back games.
Analysis: Harrington's up-and-down season continues. Fantasy owners continue to get big headaches when it comes to him because Don Nelson changes his rotation so much, but he's the hot hand right now and deserves to be activated in any Fantasy league as a No. 2 center or No. 3 Fantasy forward.
News: Warriors F/C Al Harrington had 18 points with 14 rebounds in Friday's loss to Houston. He added three assists and three steals while starting at center and playing 36 minutes.
Analysis: This was his biggest overall line in a while, but we all know how much Don Nelson loves to go with the hot hand. Now is a good chance for Harrington to be activated in Fantasy.
News: Golden State F/C Al Harrington had 10 points and three rebounds Tuesday at Sacramento. He only played 25 minutes and was 3-of-9 from the field. Harrington is only averaging 9.8 points in his past four games and 3.8 rebounds.
Analysis: Harrington remains in a slump. He will eventually snap out of it, but for now consider him a No. 4 Fantasy option.
News: Warriors F/C Al Harrington shot 4-for-11 from the field in Thursday's loss at Phoenix. He scored 11 points with 4 rebounds and an assist in 27 minutes while starting at center.
Analysis: Harrington has averaged around those numbers over his last five games (11.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists). Those numbers make him useful as a low-end No. 2 center in Fantasy leagues where he's eligible at the position, but little else.
News: Warriors F/C Al Harrington had his most productive game in a while Friday in a 134-99 win at Miami. He shot 5-for-7 from beyond the arc and finished with 17 points and 5 rebounds.
Analysis: Harrington should have seen a boost in production with Andris Biedrins (appendectomy) and Chris Webber (knee) out. Instead, Harrington had struggled for the most part until Friday. He's been inconsistent, but can be a useful No. 2 Fantasy center in deeper leagues.
News: Warriors forward Al Harrington had six points, seven rebounds and one assist Wednesday at Charlotte. He is averaging 10.2 points in his past three games.
Analysis: Harrington should have seen a boost in production with Andris Biedrins (appendectomy) and Chris Webber (knee) out. Instead, Harrington has struggled. He should be considered a No. 4 Fantasy option at this time.
News: Warriors forward Al Harrington had 13 points, four rebounds and three assists Tuesday at the Hawks in 19 minutes off the bench.
Analysis: Harrington remains in a slump. He will eventually snap out of it, but for now consider him a No. 4 Fantasy option. He should have played better Tuesday night since he was facing his former team in the Hawks.
News: Warriors forward Al Harrington had just five points, five rebounds and two assists Tuesday against Seattle. Harrington missed his first seven shots and played 27 minutes before getting his first points on a 3-pointer with 8:37 to play.
Analysis: Harrington has just 17 points and 10 rebounds in his past two games. Hopefully he will snap out of this mini-slump and his scoring and rebounds will improve.
News: Warriors F/C Al Harrington shot 5-for-18 from the field in Friday's loss to Atlanta, but was 0-for-7 from beyond the arc. He had 12 points with 5 rebounds, an assist and a steal.
Analysis: Harrington has yet to be really affected by the presence of Chris Webber, but that may still be down the line. Webber is currently only able to play around 20 minutes per game. Once that quotient rises, it could have an adverse affect on Harrington.
News: Warriors F/C Al Harrington had 22 points and 12 rebounds in Wednesday's win over Boston. He added 4 assists and was 7-for-15 from the field and 2-for-6 from beyond the arc.
Analysis: Harrington has yet to be affected by the presence of Chris Webber, but that may still be down the line. Webber is currently only able to play around 20 minutes per game. Once that quotient rises, it could have an adverse affect on Harrington.
News: Warriors F/C Al Harrington led the team with 21 points, five rebounds and two assists Tuesday at Utah. Harrington has now scored at least 20 points in three of his past five games.
Analysis: Harrington is a No. 2 Fantasy center and No. 3 Fantasy forward for the rest of the season. Hopefully he will continue to play well as the season goes on.
News: Warriors forward Al Harrington had 21 points, eight rebounds and three assists Monday against Washington. It was Harrington's third-straight game with double figures in points, and he has 54 points during that span.
Analysis: Harrington's play has been inconsistent this season, but when he gets playing time he produces. Keep an eye on what develops with Chris Webber now that he's on the roster, but continue to start Harrington as a No. 2 center and a No. 3 forward.
News: Jazz F Al Harrington was back in the starting lineup Saturday against Sacramento, scoring 13 points with 7 rebounds, 2 assists and a 3-pointer.
Analysis: Harrington started at power forward with Chris Webber moving to center and Andris Biedrins moving to the bench. This situation is by no means resolved and the addition of Webber will only make Harrington that much more erratic in Fantasy play despite Saturday's line.
News: Warriors F/C Al Harrington chipped in 20 points off the bench Thursday against Chicago in 27 minutes off the bench. He added three 3-pointers, 4 rebounds and 3 steals.
Analysis: Harrington was the player who saw the most minutes off the bench in Thursday's game on a night when Don Nelson used just three players. Harrington was not really affected by the presence of Chris Webber for the first time, but Webber played just 13 minutes and was clearly rusty. At some point down the line, Harrington could be affected.
News: Warriors F/C Al Harrington had seven points with five rebounds, two assists and a steal in Friday's blowout win over Charlotte.
Analysis: Harrington has been back in the starting lineup, but with Don Nelson toys with his rotation so much that you never know what to expect from Harrington. He's averaging around 14 points and five rebounds this season and is still useful as a No. 3 forward or No. 2 center.
News: Warriors F/C Al Harrington, who came off the bench last time out, returned to the starting lineup Sunday against the Knicks. He had 12 points and four rebounds in 36 minutes, shooting 4-for-13 from the field.
Analysis: Harrington just can't get a consistent stroke going this season, and his Fantasy value has slipped as a result. Continue to use him as a No. 2 Fantasy center or No. 4 Fantasy forward.
News: Warriors F Al Harrington had 19 points with two rebounds and four 3-pointers in Thursday's win over the Nets. He logged 27 minutes off the bench.
Analysis: Harrington continues to come off the bench in the latest lineup shakeup by Don Nelson. He is still getting enough minutes, however, to where he has to be considered a useful No. 3 Fantasy forward or a solid No. 2 center in leagues that use multiple positions.
News: Warriors F/C Al Harrington had 27 points and seven rebounds Saturday at Milwaukee. He shot 10-for-17 from the floor, including 5-for-10 from 3-point range. He's now averaged 16.3 points per game in January -- his best average of any month.
Analysis: Harrington has also averaged 16.8 points over his last six games. With him playing some of his best ball of the season so far, keep him active as a No. 2 Fantasy center.
News: Warriors F/C Al Harrington had only 12 points and two rebounds in 23 minutes Tuesday at Minnesota. Over his last five games, he's averaged 12.4 points.
Analysis: Head coach Don Nelson has moved Harrington in and out of the lineup all season. He's been used in all sorts of ways, but he remains useful as a No. 3 Fantasy forward or No. 2 Fantasy center.
News: Warriors F/C Al Harrington had 19 points with nine rebounds in Friday's win over Memphis. He had scored just eight points off the bench in Wednesday's blowout 109-91 loss at Portland. He played just 17 minutes with Don Nelson playing his bench players early and often.
Analysis: Harrington has been moved in and out of the lineup by head coach Don Nelson and he's been used in all sorts of ways, but he remains useful as a No. 3 Fantasy forward or as a No. 2 center in leagues where he's eligible there.
News: Warriors F/C Al Harrington scored eight points off the bench in Wednesday's blowout 109-91 loss at Portland. He played just 17 minutes with Don Nelson playing his bench players early and often.
Analysis: Fantasy owners that just looked at his line and saw 17 minutes may be worried that he got hurt, but that wasn't the case. Nelson just yanked his regulars out of the game with his team down big. Fantasy owners should continue to consider Harrington as either a No. 2 or 3 Fantasy forward or as a No. 2 center in leagues that use multiple positions.
News: Warriors PF Al Harrington scored 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds during Monday's game against the Rockets. It was his first double-double in 15 games and the eighth straight game he scored in double figures.
Analysis: Harrington hasn't been a great rebounder this season for the Warriors, but he hasn't forgotten how to score. He remains a No. 1 Fantasy option in leagues that he has center eligibility. In all other leagues, he is a No. 2 or No. 3 Fantasy forward.
News: Warriors PF Al Harrington had 16 points with 9 rebounds Sunday at Cleveland. The nine boards were his highest total since he had nine on Dec. 11 vs. San Antonio.
Analysis: Harrington should be able to produce more rebounds on a regular basis while playing the four-spot for the Warriors, but you'll have to settle for his 14.4 ppg and 5.5 rpg for the time being. Those numbers make him useful in leagues where he's also eligible at center.
News: Warriors PF Al Harrington continued his roller coaster season as he scored 17 points and pulled down six rebounds in Golden State's 125-117 win over the Grizzlies on Monday night.
Analysis: Harrington has played anywhere from 12 to 37 minutes in his last four games and has scored three, 22, seven and 17 points in those games. Those kind of stats will drive any Fantasy owner crazy. He does have dual eligibility in his favor, but consider him nothing more than a No. 3 Fantasy forward or a low-end No. 2 center at best.
News: Warriors PF Al Harrington had his second-straight six-point outing on Tuesday night as he made only 3-of-8 shots in a win over the Spurs.
Analysis: Harrington got off to a blazing start this season, averaging 22.8 points over his first six games, but he has only averaged 10.8 over his last 13 games since then. He does have dual eligibility in his favor, but consider him nothing more than a No. 3 Fantasy forward or a low-end No. 2 center.
News: Warriors PF Al Harrington scored 18 points with five rebounds and two steals with an assist in Thursday's win vs. Houston.
Analysis: Harrington continues to bounce back from the forward and center spots and has produced solid lines for the most part this season with the occasional clunker. He's eligible at center in leagues with dual-eligibility and Fantasy owners should consider him a must-start.
News:Al Harrington returned for Golden State on Friday against the Wizards after missing one game for personal reasons. Harrington started and scored 10 points in 23 minutes. He also had two rebounds and one assist.
Analysis: Harrington hasn't been much of a scoring threat in his last three games and his dip in scoring coincided with the return of Stephen Jackson from his seven-game suspension. With another prominent scorer around to take a lot of the shot attempts, Harrington could see his scoring numbers become somewhat erratic. He remains a must-start in Fantasy play, though.
News: Warriors PF/C Al Harrington had 10 points with four rebounds in Sunday's win at Toronto, snapping a three-game streak of 20-plus scoring outputs.
Analysis: Harrington's dip in scoring coincided with the return of Stephen Jackson from his seven-game suspension. With another prominent scorer around to take a lot of the shot attempts, Harrington could see his scoring numbers become somewhat erratic. He remains a must-start in Fantasy play, though.
News: Warriors PF/C Al Harrington returned to the starting lineup in Saturday's loss to Utah. He started at power forward and scored 28 points on 15-for-20 from the field. He added seven rebounds and three assists. He also had two steals and was 6-for-8 from three-point range.
Analysis: If Don Nelson was looking to light a fire under Harrington by benching him to start the season, mission accomplished. As we all know, Nelson is the type of coach who won't stay with a single lineup for too long, so everything is relative, but Harrington appears to be back to must-start Fantasy status again.
News: Warriors PF Al Harrington started on the bench for the second straight game Friday against the Clippers. He did see 24 minutes off the pine, scoring 13 points and grabbing sox rebounds. He also had one steal and one turnover.
Analysis: Head coach Don Nelson is trying to light a fire under Harrington by bringing him off the bench, but so far it is not working to perfection. Harrington should work his way back into the starting lineup eventually, but who knows when that will be. He's eligible at both PF and C and should become a must-start once again at some point. For now, he's a low-end starter.
News: Warriors PF Al Harrington had 10 points and six boards in Tuesday's season opener vs. Utah while coming off the bench. He also had two assists and a block.
Analysis: Harrington didn't start, but he ended up playing more minutes than starter Mickael Pietrus. Pietrus finished with the better overall line, however. We still feel this is Don Nelson's way of lighting a fire under Harrington and Harrington should work his way back into the starting lineup soon. He's eligible at both PF and C and should become a must-start once again at some point. For now, he's a low-end starter.
News: The Contra Costa Times reports that Warriors coach Don Nelson has named Mickael Pietrus as his starting power forward heading into the season.
Analysis: With Al Harrington seemingly in Nelson's doghouse, this move could just be a sort of inspirational tactic. This isn't great news for those folks who have already drafted Harrington, but he will likely still get enough minutes to make a decent contribution this season and he was the runner-up for the Sixth Man of the Year award in 2003-04 when he backed up forwards Ron Artest and Jermaine O'Neal in Indiana. Still, you have to figure his value drops a little with this news, but probably not out of the ranks of No. 2 forwards and centers.
News: Warriors F Al Harrington, who started at both PF and C for the Warriors last season before landing on the bench during their first-round playoff series against Dallas, could be on his way back to the bench, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. "That'd be like a perfect position for him," coach Don Nelson said before Monday's 107-88 exhibition win over Lithuanian club Zalgiris Kaunas. "Bring him off the bench where he can just be the gunslinger. He has the ability to stretch defenses and he's really aggressive."
Analysis: This isn't great news for those folks who have already drafted Harrington, but he will likely still get enough minutes to make a decent contribution this season and he was the runner-up for the Sixth Man of the Year award in 2003-04 when he backed up forwards Ron Artest and Jermaine O'Neal in Indiana. Still, you have to figure his value drops a little with this news, but probably not out of the ranks of No. 2 forwards.
News: Warriors F Al Harrington averaged 16.5 ppg, 6.4 rpg and 1.9 apg in 78 appearances between Golden State and Indiana during the 2006-07 regular season.
Analysis: Harrington averaged 17.0 ppg in 42 games with his new team after he averaged 15.9 ppg in the first 36 contests with Indiana. His production in most of the categories remained about the same and we expect similar numbers from him in 2007-08, making him an excellent choice as a No. 2 forward in any format.
News: Al Harrington scored in double-figures for the sixth time in seven games in April Sunday (he recorded nine points on the other occasions).
Analysis: He's shooting 44.6 percent (41 of 92) this month and averaging 15.4 points per game. Harrington has done well since coming to Golden State and will be an early round selection once again next season.
News: Warriors forward Al Harrington had a 15-point, 11-rebound double-double Monday -- his fifth of the season -- on the same day on which he was honored with an NBA Community Assist Award for March. Harrington has immediately become a popular sight on Oakland playgrounds, helping kids with fundamentals, as well as helping in several feed-the-needy causes.
Analysis: Harrington has done well since coming to Golden State and hopefully will continue to play well next season with the Warriors.
News: Warriors forward Al Harrington had just one point Monday, going 0-for-5 from the field. His previous low as a Warrior had been a six-point outing against the Hawks on Feb. 11.
Analysis: Harrington should bounce back Thursday against the Suns. Consider him a No. 3 Fantasy forward for now.
News: Warriors forward Al Harrington scored 23 points, the 14th time in 31 games as a Warrior in which he's totaled 20 or more. He made just two of his eight three-pointers, increasing the number of three-pointers he's shot in the past three games to 21.
Analysis: Harrington should be used as a No. 2 Fantasy forward. He's played well since coming to Golden State, and there's no reason for that to change.
News: Al Harrington led Golden State with 27 points Tuesday, hitting a meaningless 3-pointer in the final second after Utah had already clinched it. He also added five rebounds and one assist.
Analysis: Harrington is a good scorer, and playing with Golden State has improved his Fantasy value. Consider him a No. 2 forward in all scoring formats.
News: Warriors forward Al Harrington hit six of his 10 shots and led the Warriors with 16 points against Portland on Sunday. He had failed to connect on at least half his shots in seven of the previous eight games.
Analysis: Harrington continues to produce and should be used as a No. 2 Fantasy forward. He's a scorer, so even if his shot isn't falling, he will still keep shooting.
News: Al Harrington pulled down 13 rebounds to go with his 25 points Sunday. It was the ex-Pacer's third double-figure rebounding effort since joining the Warriors in January.
Analysis: His previous high as a Warrior was 12 in his Golden State debut against Cleveland on Jan. 20. Whether it was as a Warrior or a Pacer, Harrington offered much of the same for Fantasy GMs. He's more of a scorer than a rebounder, but it's nice to see that kind of effort.
News: Warriors F Al Harrington was 10-for-20 from the field Saturday at the L.A. clippers, finishing with 25 points. He also added seven boards and four assists.
Analysis: Harrington took more shots than any other Warrior on Saturday and appears to be the No. 1 scoring option, especially with Baron Davis sidelined. Continue to start him in all leagues.

Analysis: It appears safe to get Harrington back into the active Fantasy lineup in all leagues.
News: According to the Contra Costa Times, Warriors F Al Harrington suffered a blow to the head Sunday vs. Atlanta and was shaken up. "My head's never hurt like this before," said Harrington, sporting a quarter-sized welt above his right ear where Pachulia connected.
Analysis: Harrington returned in the second half after icing the wound, but was rendered ineffective, delivering two points on 1-for-3 shooting, two rebounds and three personal fouls in 14 minutes. Regardless, he appears to be a safe start for the upcoming scoring period.
News: Warriors F Al Harrington (elbow, wrist) was able to play Sunday vs. Atlanta.
Analysis: He was able to give it ago against one of his former teams, but had a rough shooting night from the floor. Regardless, he appears to be a safe start for the upcoming scoring period.
News: Al Harrington was wearing an elbow sleeve Friday and a wrist brace to deal with pain lingering from a fall in Cleveland last week, an injury which was exacerbated in Charlotte. He said he's close to fully recovered, according to the Contra Costa Times.
Analysis: Consider him day to day, but he is not expected to miss any games. He should be a safe start for the upcoming scoring period when the Warriors are slated for two games.
News: Al Harrington returned to the Indiana on Monday for the first time since being traded to Golden State. Stephen Jackson and Harrington were key parts of the eight-player trade between the Warriors and Pacers on Jan. 17, and this was the first meeting between the teams since. Harrington had 16 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.
Analysis: Harrington continues to play well and he remains a must-start No. 1 Fantasy forward in all formats.
News: Al Harrington played through foul trouble for the sixth time in his eight games as a Warrior and contributed 17 points and eight rebounds Saturday at Charlotte.
Analysis: The ex-Pacer has yet to foul out as a Warrior, but he's been nailed with four or more fouls six times, including Saturday, when he had four. He hasn't had many low points since heading to Golden State, though, so Fantasy owners should continue to use him as a No. 1 forward.
News: Al Harrington hadn't had a field goal since the second minute of the third quarter Friday before dropping in his game-winner with 1.2 seconds left against Philadelphia.
Analysis: He'd missed four consecutive shots, including a potential go-ahead tip-in with 11 seconds remaining, before his heroics. He hasn't had many low points since heading to Golden State, though, so Fantasy owners should continue to use him as a No. 1 forward.
News: Al Harrington's nifty spin move in the paint with 1.2 seconds left helped the Golden State Warriors snap a six-game road losing streak with a 102-101 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night. Harrington finished the game with 11 points and eight rebounds.
Analysis: Harrington continues to post solid stat lines with his new team and should be starting in most Fantasy formats at this time.
News: Al Harrington led the Warriors in scoring for the fourth time in six games Wednesday since joining the team. He had 21 points, hitting seven of his 15 shots.
Analysis: He's shooting 51.1 percent as a Warrior even after missing 17 of 21 from the field in his Golden State debut. He has been playing extremely well since joining the Warriors and should be starting in most Fantasy formats at this time.

Analysis: After missing 17 of his 21 shots in his Warriors debut last week against the Cavaliers, Harrington has shot 23-for-33 in his last two games, which included a 30-point effort Monday against the Lakers. Make sure he's active in all leagues.
News: Al Harrington, playing his second game since being acquired from Indiana last week, led Golden State with 30 points in Monday's game at L.A. Lakers.
Analysis: Harrington has three assists and three steals and is a must-start right now with his new club, especially if he can produce these type of results on a regular basis.
News: Al Harrington had a 14-point, 12-rebound double-double in his Warriors debut on Saturday, but the performance was hardly the first impression he'd hoped to make on his new fans. He shot 4-for-21, the fourth-most shots he's attempted in a game all season and the most misses.
Analysis: Harrington will get better once he gets acquainted to his new surroundings. Also, Baron Davis is set to return from a one-game suspension, so scoring baskets should get easier with a premier point guard running the show. Consider Harrington a must-start for now, but monitor his progress with the Warriors in case his production starts to dip.
News: The Pacers traded forward Al Harrington to Golden State as part of an eight-player deal involving Stephen Jackson, Josh Powell and Sarunas Jasikevicius. The Pacers get Mike Dunleavy, Troy Murphy, Ike Diogu and Keith McLeod. Harrington, 26, has appeared in 36 games this season with the Pacers, averaging 15.9 points and 6.3 rebounds in 33.6 minutes.
Analysis: The Warriors, under coach Don Nelson, are one of the highest-scoring teams in the league at 105.4 points per game, which should help Harrington. Last year with Atlanta, Harrington averaged 18.6 points and 6.9 rebounds, so he's capable of putting up points. But he also must now share the ball with a loaded roster, featuring Baron Davis, Monta Ellis, Matt Barnes, Mickael Pietrus and Jason Richardson, with the latter two being hurt right now. For now, consider Harrington a No. 2 Fantasy forward. He is not expected to play in Wednesday night's game against the Clippers.
News: Pacers SF Al Harrington only attempted five shots on Friday, making one of them in 46 minutes. He finished with four points and seven rebounds.
Analysis: Harrington has scored under 10 points the last two games after scoring in double-figures the previous three. He can be kind of up-and-down, but remains a solid No. 2 Fantasy forward.
News: Pacers small forward Al Harrington showed the Atlanta Hawks what they missed out by not re-signing him for the second time Tuesday. Harrington followed up his 20-point performance against the Hawks last month by scoring 18 in the Pacers' 91-72 victory. Harrington, who spent the past two seasons in Atlanta, didn't look as if he would have a good game against his former team when he missed his first seven shots from the field. He made up for it in the third quarter when he scored 14 straight points to help the Pacers break open the game. Harrington is averaging 23 points in the past three games.
Analysis: Consider Harrington a solid No. 2 Fantasy forward and hope his scoring output continues.
News: Small forward Al Harrington missed only two shots (10-of-12) while scoring 27 points Friday at the Hornets.
Analysis: Harrington has been a strong Fantasy option this season with his 16-point and 6-rebound per game average. Continue to start him in all leagues.

"Hopefully, I'll be like Jermaine [O'Neal] and be back in about a week," Harrington told the Indianapolis Star. "If it is something serious, hopefully I'll be ready after the All-Star break." In any event, benching Harrington next week is advisable.
Analysis:
News: Harrington is playing well in his role as Indiana's sixth man. He's averaging 11.6 points and 6.5 rebounds in his last six games, and is well worth a roster spot in deeper Fantasy leagues.
Analysis:
News: Harrington sat out the entire fourth quarter of Sunday's game against Philadelphia. Head Coach Isiah Thomas is tinkering with his rotation once again, which could lead a decrease in minutes for Harrington, so avoid starting him this week if at all possible.
Analysis:
News: Harrington played in Wednesday's game after missing the previous contest because of a sprained ankle. He is a valuable reserve in large leagues but is not worth holding on to in smaller ones.
Analysis:
News: Indiana played Monday's game without starting forward Harrington, who sprained his right ankle Sunday against Minnesota. Jonathan Bender started in his place, but did not score in only eight minutes. Harrington will be re-evaluated on a day-to-day basis. Teammate Jermaine O'Neal, who suffered a similar injury Sunday managed to play.
Analysis:
News: Harrington has lost his spot in the Pacers' rotation to Chris Mullin. Larry Bird said he is not happy with the way Harrington, who scored in double-figures eight of the first nine games, is hitting the boards and playing defense. "He's going to have to go through the process of practicing hard and playing hard again," Bird said.
Analysis:
News: Harrington scored 12 of his 18 points in the fourth quarter as the Pacers rallied for a 96-87 victory over Houston. "I am much more patient and ready to play than last year," Harrington said. "Coach (Larry Bird) is experimenting with what combinations he's going to use and hopefully I will get some playing time."
Analysis:
News: Second-year small forward Al Harrington, 19, is showing signs that he may be a contributor off the Pacers' bench. In 20 minutes of the victory over Boston, Harrington hit 4 of 6 shots from the field for 12 points, along with grabbing three rebounds. The downside: he had five personal fouls. "Al's been playing well offensively,'' point guard Travis Best told the Indianapolis Star, "so we've been trying to go to him a lot. Basically, we just like to throw it up to him in the open court before the defense gets set."
Analysis:
News: Indiana's second-year forward Al Harrington continued his early-season scoring production as he scored 15 points on Tuesday. He has seen an increased amount of playing time due to the departure of Reggie Miller.
Analysis:
News: Forward Al Harrington should see an increase in his playing time this season. With Anonio Davis departed, the Pacers will look to Harrington to carry part of the load. The second year pro may find himself over-matched early in the season and could struggle to earn you Fantasy points as the Pacers are not known for scoring many points.
