Rudy Gobert undergoes an appendectomy

by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(6/14/2014) Jazz center Rudy Gobert underwent an appendectomy earlier this week in California, according to the Salt Lake Tribune. Gobert spent some time in the D-League and appeared in 45 games last season for the Jazz. He averaged only 2.3 points and 3.4 rebounds in 9.6 minutes per game.

The procedure should not affect Gobert's status for training camp.

(12/14/2013) The Jazz have sent Ian Clark and Rudy Gobert down to the D-League Bakersfield Jam, according to the team's official website on Saturday.

Gobert appeared in 17 games this season and averaged 2.2 points and 4.6 rebounds. Clark was a marginal contributor, appearing in only eight games this season for the Jazz. He averaged 2.8 points on 34.6 percent shooting from the field.

Rudy Gobert scores season-high 10 points vs. Thunder

by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(11/24/2013) Jazz center Rudy Gobert scored a season-high 10 points on 3 of 3 shooting from the field and 4 of 9 shooting from the charity stripe in his team's 95-73 loss to the Thunder Sunday.

Gobert didn't see an abnormaly high amount of playing time in the game with just 10 minutes of action to his credit, but his 10 points were enough to share the team lead in scoring in the blowout loss. He also had three rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one steal Sunday. Gobert could be in line for a spike in playing time depending on the severity of Enes Kanter's sprained ankle.

Rudy Gobert doing some work on the glass

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(11/9/2013) Jazz rookie center Rudy Gobert has played a bit more than expected early in the season, with Andris Biedrins sidelined by an ankle injury. He played 16 minutes off the bench for the third time in four games Saturday, in a 115-91 loss to the Raptors.

Gobert shot just 1 for 3 en route to two points, but was effective on the glass, snagging seven rebounds. He added a pair of blocks, while turning the ball over twice.

The lanky 21-year-old from France is averaging 13.3 minutes per game through his first seven NBA games, with 5.6 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game, though he is adding just 1.6 points as well.

Rudy Gobert doing little in exhibitions

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(10/23/2013) Jazz center Rudy Gobert has struggled to make his mark in the preseason, and is looking like he might have trouble finding a role when the season starts. Gobert was held scoreless in Tuesday's game against the Lakers, as he missed his lone field-goal attempt in 13 minutes.

Gobert has appeared in three preseason games, and is 1 for 3 from the field with two points. He is averaging 3.0 rebounds and 0.7 blocks per game in 10.0 minutes, but is likely to be left on the bench for much of the season.
