Pacers SF Solomon Hill doubles up vs. Bulls Saturday

(11/15/2014) Pacers small forward Solomon Hill scored 21 points on 6 of 14 shooting while racking up 12 rebounds in his team's 99-90 win over the Bulls Saturday.

Hill was one of the three Pacers to lead the team in scoring as the team won for the third time in four games after starting the season 1-6. He also sank eight of his nine free throws while playing 33 minutes in the win. The Pacers will try and keep rolling Wednesday against the Hornets.


Pacers' Solomon Hill explodes for 28 points in losing effort

(11/8/2014) Solomon Hill got the start and shouldered the load for the Pacers, but it wasn't enough enough as his team fell to the Wizards at home Saturday night, 97-90.

Hill shot 10 of 19 from the floor, including 1 of 3 from behind the arc, and 7 and 11 from the charity stripe. He also chipped in with six rebounds, one assist and three steals while logging 43 minutes of game action.

"I found a rhythm and they kept giving me the ball. I just tried to make the most of it," Hill said, per the team's official website.

It's the first time he has scored 20-plus points in a game. Hill is averaging 15.2 points and 5.4 rebounds over his last five games.


Pacers pick up option on contract of SF Solomon Hill

(10/9/2014) Pacers small forward Solomon Hill, who received significant playing time as a rookie early last season before playing only in garbage time the rest of the way, has had his 2015-16 option picked up.

Hill finished last year averaging 1.7 points per game and shooting 42.5 percent from the field.


Pacers recall Solomon Hill from D-League

(1/4/2014) The Pacers have recalled forward Solomon Hill from the Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the D-League, NBA.com reports. Hill averaged 17 points in two games with Fort Wayne.

"It’s helpful to get work playing, but we don’t want him to be away from the team too much because you fall behind a little bit," Pacers head coach Frank Vogel said. "We’re going to try to keep him with the team as much as possible and if we see opportunities, we’ll look at those."

Hill has averaged 1.5 points, 1.6 rebounds and 9.0 minutes over 16 games played with the Pacers.

(12/29/2013) The Pacers have assigned forward Solomon Hill to the D-League, the team announced Sunday. Hill has played 16 games in his rookie season, scoring 24 points on 8 of 24 shooting, including 4 of 17 shooting from three-point range.
