Report: Knicks on the verge of acquiring players from Mavs

by Joe Polito | CBSSports.com
(6/25/2014) The other half of a trade that would send Tyson Chandler and Raymond Felton to Dallas includes guards Jose CalderonWayne Ellington and Shane Larkin as well as center Samuel Dalembert going to the Knicks, ESPN reports.

With the Knicks looking to rebuild, Larkin is an asset that a cash-strapped and mostly draft pick-less New York team would value highly. Calderon reinvented himself as a spot-up shooter for the Mavericks last season, finishing the year with a career-best 191 made three pointers. Dalembert only managed to give the Mavericks 6.6 points in 20 minutes per game last season. Ellington couldn't crack the Dallas rotation to log meaningful stats.
