Andre Roberson not expected to factor in postseason

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(4/10/2014) Thunder rookie guard Andre Roberson has moved from the starting lineup to the inactive list in a two-game span, with Thabo Sefolosha back from injury.

Roberts started 12 straight games from early March to early April, a streak that ended with Sefolosha's return Tuesday against the Kings. With Sefolosha cleared to play a bigger role Wednesday, Roberson was not active, and The Oklahoman reports he is not expected to be a part of the postseason rotation.

Roberson has appeared in 39 games as a rookie, averaging just 1.8 points and 2.4 rebounds per game, while starting 16 games.

(3/14/2014) Thunder guard Andre Roberson started in Perry Jones' place Thursday, as the team opted to get a bit more defense into the lineup against the Lakers.

Roberson played 24 minutes and put together a decent stat line, scoring eight points on 3 of 6 shooting. He added seven rebounds and a steal, while turning the ball over once in a 131-102 win.

Roberson came out of college known for his rebounding, and that has been his best skill even in limited minutes as a rookie. He is averaging 1.8 points and 2.1 rebounds per game in 27 appearances, five starts.
