Brandon Davies a week away from returning?

(3/7/2014) 76ers forward Brandon Davies "might be a week away," head coach Brett Brown told the Delaware County Daily Times on Friday. However, he added that it was "a coach's guess."

Davies had surgery on his dislocated finger in January. He was averaging 2.5 points and 2.0 rebounds over 37 games played.

(1/22/2014) 76ers forward Brandon Davies had successful surgery on his dislocated finger Tuesday and is expected to miss four to six weeks, the Bucks County Courier Times reports.

Davies suffered the injury Saturday, playing just four minutes in his team's loss to the Bulls, then missed Monday's game. He has averaged 2.5 points and 2.0 rebounds over 37 games played.


Tony Wroten doubtful to play, two ruled out Wednesday

(1/22/2014) 76ers guard Tony Wroten is "highly unlikely" to play in Wednesday's game against the Knicks, while forwards Arnett Moultrie and Brandon Davies have been ruled out, Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia reports.

Wroten was seen walking around with ice on his injured ankle during the team's shootaround Wednesday, making him nearly certain to miss his second straight game with the injury. Moultrie has yet to make his season debut after September ankle surgery. Davies is missing his second straight game after dislocating a finger Sunday.

(1/20/2014) 76ers forward Brandon Davies dislocated his right pinkie finger on Sunday and was unable to play Monday afternoon against the Wizards, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Davies averaged only 2.5 points and 2.0 rebounds in 11.6 minutes through 37 games. His status remains uncertain for Wednesday at New York.

(1/18/2014) 76ers forward Brandon Davies suffered an injury to his finger during Saturday's game against the Bulls, according to Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia.

Davies played the final four minutes of the game but underwent X-rays after the game. His status remains uncertain for Monday's game at Washington. Davies scored just three points on 1 of 2 shooting, and 1 of 1 from the free throw line.He also grabbed one rebound and handed out one assist in a 103-78 loss.

(1/7/2014) The 76ers emptied the bench in a blowout loss to the Cavaliers Tuesday, allowing some little-used bench players to thrive. Forward Brandon Davies and guard Elliot Williams both managed season-highs in scoring in the 111-93 loss.

Williams played 23 points off the bench, his second game in a row with 20-plus minutes played. He scored 12 points on 4 of 8 shooting, while adding four rebounds and an assist. Davies played a season-high 24 minutes himself, and added 11 points on 3 of 4 shooting, including 5 of 7 at the free-throw line. Davies also added four rebounds, one assists and a pair of steals.
