(3/21/2014) Cavaliers guard Matthew Dellavedova was one of the few bright spots on Thursday, securing his first career double-double in a 102-95 loss to the Thunder.

Dellavedova scored 11 points and handed out a career-high 10 assists. He also contributed with four rebounds and one steal while logging 33 minutes of game action. He is averaging 6.6 points, 4.2 assists and 3.0 rebounds over his last five games played.

Matthew Dellavedova plays through ankle injury

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(3/18/2014) Cavaliers guard Matthew Dellavedova was able to play Tuesday against the Heat, despite suffering a sprained ankle in the previous game.

Dellavedova played 23 minutes off the bench, scoring five points on 2 of 3 shooting in the 100-96 loss. He also added three rebounds and six assists, while turning the ball over just twice in his action.

Dellavedova should see a nice bump in playing time over the next few weeks, with Kyrie Irving sidelined by a biceps injury. Dellavedova is averaging 3.9 points and 1.9 assists per game while appearing in 58 of the team's first 68 games as an undrafted free agent.

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(3/18/2014) Though both were considered game-time decisions due to ankle injuries, Cavaliers, guard Matthew Dellavedova and forward C.J. Miles will play Tuesday against the Heat, according to the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram.

Dellavedova sustained the injury in the team's previous game, while Miles has not played in 12 games as a result of his injury.

Cavaliers hit hard by injuries; three in question for Tuesday

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(3/18/2014) The Cavaliers' injury issues continue to pile up, and they could be without a bevy of rotation players Tuesday against the Heat.

Guard Kyrie Irving and forward Anthony Bennett are already ruled out for the next few weeks, and they could be joined on the bench by three more rotation players. Guards Matthew Dellavedova and forward Luol Deng and C.J. Miles are all questionable for Tuesday's game with ankle injuries, according to the Akron Beacon Journal. Their statuses will be determined prior to tipoff.

Matthew Dellavedova chips in off bench

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(2/11/2014)  Cavaliers guard Matthew Dellavedova played his typical role off the bench in Tuesday's win over the Kings, despite struggling with his shot in 17 minutes of action. He was scoreless on three field-goal attempts, but made up for that with five assists and four rebounds in the 109-99 win.

Dellavedova has played plenty for an undrafted free agent rookie, but hasn't made much of an impact. He is averaging 3.8 points and 1.7 assists per game in 42 appearances.
