(1/23/2015) Bulls forward Pau Gasol scored 13 points on 5 of 10 shooting and grabbed a game-high 16 rebounds in Chicago's 102-98 win over the Mavericks Friday.

It was Gasol's fifth consecutive double-double and 26th of the season. In fact, Gasol has 10 double-doubles in 13 games this month. Gasol also dished out three assists and blocked one shot.

(1/22/2015) Bulls power forward Pau Gasol scored 12 points on 5 of 6 shooting while racking up 17 rebounds in his team's 104-81 win over the Spurs Thursday.

Gasol, who has delivered double-doubles in four straight games, was able to collect 16 of his 17 rebounds on the defensive end, helping to stifle the opposition's opportunity for second-chance points, with the Spurs collecting just nine offensive rebounds as a team. He also chipped in two assists and two blocks in 31 minutes of action Thursday. The Bulls will square off with the Mavericks Friday.


Starters for NBA All-Star Game in New York announced Thursday

(1/22/2015) The NBA announced the starters for the 2015 All-Star Game on Thursday.

The Western Conference starters will be coached by rookie coach Steve Kerr of the Golden State Warriors. Here are his starters for the game:

(1/17/2015) Bulls forward Pau Gasol scored 22 points on 9 of 18 shooting from the field and grabbed 15 rebounds in Chicago's 107-99 loss to the Wizards Saturday. It was Gasol's second straight double-double and his 23rd of the season, tying him for second most in the league.

Gasol also dished out three assists and blocked one shot in the contest. He and the Bulls will look to rebound Monday against the Cavaliers.

Gasol has been on a roll lately, delivering double-doubles in four of his last five games, including a 46-18 line last weekend. He also managed to record four assists and two blocks in 31 minutes in Friday's win. He'll square off with the Hawks Saturday.

Gasol shot 10-16 from the field. He sunk eight of his 10 free throws, finishing with 28 points. He was a monster on the boards, picking up 14 rebounds. Gasol also had two blocks, one assist and one steal.

(1/10/2015) Bulls forward Pau Gasol turned in a fantastic game against the Bucks on Saturday.

Gasol was a monster on both ends of the court. Offensively, he shot 17-30 from the floor. He hit 12 of his 13 free throws, finishing with a career-high 46 points. He was no slouch on defense, however, pulling down a total of 18 rebounds. Ten of those came on the defensive side of the floor. Gasol also added three assists and one steal during the contest.

(1/5/2015) Bulls forward Pau Gasol continued his hot start to the new year Monday, scoring 27 points and grabbing 14 rebounds in Chicago's 114-105 win over the Rockets.

It was Gasol's second consecutive double-double and 18th of the season. In three games so far this month, Gasol is shooting 53 percent from the field and 20 of 22 from the free throw line. 

Gasol also had three assists and two blocks on the night.

It is Gasol's 17th double-double of the season, tying him for fourth in the league. Gasol also made 10 of 11 free throw attempts, his most in a game since Dec. 22. Gasol also had two assists and one steal on the night.

Bulls' Pau Gasol says he's getting closer to return

(11/22/2014) Bulls center Pau Gasol took to his Twitter account to share information on his recovery from a calf injury. The veteran center said he's "getting closer" to his return after taking part in on-court drills on Saturday.

The 34-year-old has missed the previous three games with a strained calf. He got off to a fast start before getting hurt, averaging 18.6 points and 10.6 rebounds through 10 games while shooting 48.7 percent from the field.

His status remains uncertain for Chicago's game on Monday against Utah.
