Kings' Sessions questionable, Evans and Casspi probable Sunday

by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(12/20/2014) Kings point guard Ramon Sessions is questionable to play in Sunday's game against the Lakers due to a lower back strain, while forwards Reggie Evans (knee, hip) and Omri Casspi (knee) are probable for the game.

The Kings are a 7-point favorite for Sunday's home matchup with the Lakers.

Kings' Reggie Evans, Omri Casspi out for Thursday against Bucks

by Brandon Wise | CBSSports.com
(12/18/2014) The Kings have listed forwards Reggie Evans and Omri Casspi as out for Thursday's game against the Bucks.

Evans, who is averaging 4.4 points and 7.3 rebounds, sustained a knee and hip contusion Tuesday against the Thunder.

Casspi, who is averaging 8.2 points and 3.4 rebounds, is still dealing with a left knee bone contusion. Casspi has missed the Kings last five games.

Kings' Gay probable, Cousins questionable Thursday vs. Bucks

by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(12/17/2014) The Kings released the injury report for Thursday's game against the Bucks, with small forward Rudy Gay being listed as probable with right Achilles tendinitis. Gay is averaging a career-best 21.2 points along with 6.3 rebounds and 4.6 assists in 23 games.

Center DeMarcus Cousins is questionable to play against the Bucks. He has been sidelined since Nov. 26 while dealing with viral meningitis.

Power forward Reggie Evans is listed as questionable to play with a left knee/hip contusion. Small forward Omri Casspi is dealing with a knee injury and is doubtful to play Thursday.

Huge game not a sign of change for Reggie Evans

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(12/1/2014) Kings forward Reggie Evans put up a huge 17-point, 20-rebound effort Sunday against the Grizzlies, which might put him on Fantasy owners' radars as they scour the waiver wires.

It's no secret that Evans can put up big numbers when he gets the chance. He is averaging 7.2 rebounds per game for his career, in just 19.4 minutes. He can be a double-double machine, but he also just doesn't have a clear role on this team. Unless Cousins or Jason Thompson gets hurt, there is no reason to pick up Evans in any format.

Kings PF Reggie Evans delivers 17-20 line vs. Grizzlies

by R.J. White | CBSSports.com
(11/30/2014) Kings power forward Reggie Evans scored a season-high 17 points on 7 of 10 shooting while piling up 20 rebounds in his team's 97-85 loss to the Grizzlies Sunday.

It's the first time since the 2012-13 season that Evans has managed to rack up 20 rebounds in a single game. He received the opportunity to play a prominent role with DeMarcus Cousins (illness) inactive. Evans also picked up one assist, one block and one steal in a season-high 35 minutes of action. The Kings will move on to play the Raptors Tuesday.

Reggie Evans solid in return from back issue

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(4/10/2014) Kings forward Reggie Evans played 23 minutes off the bench Wednesday against the Trail Blazers, in his return from a back injury that cost him the team's previous game.

Evans scored four points on 2 of 4 shooting, while adding nine rebounds. He also filled up the box score unusually well, dishing out three assists and snagging two steals, though he also turned the ball over four times in a 100-99 loss.

Evans remains little more than a  rebounding specialist, averaging 3.8 points and 6.0 rebounds in 53 games.

Rudy Gay, Reggie Evans expected back Wednesday

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(4/9/2014) Kings forwards Rudy Gay (back) and Reggie Evans (back) are both "very likely to play" Wednesday against the Trail Blazers, according to CowbellKingdom.com. Both Gay and Evans missed Tuesday's game as a result of their injuries, though neither was considered particularly serious, so it isn't a surprise to see them miss just the first half of the team's back-to-back set.

Reggie Evans out, Rudy Gay could follow

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(4/8/2014) With Isaiah Thomas already out with a quad injury, the Kings could be without two other rotation players Tuesday against the Thunder.

Coach Mike Malone ruled forward Reggie Evans out before gametime with a back injury, and told The Oklahoman that Rudy Gay is also unlikely to play as a result of a back injury. Gay is still a game-time decision as a result of the injury.

Reggie Evans remains solid in start

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(3/12/2014) Kings forward Reggie Evans moved into the starting lineup Tuesday against the Pistons, though he was still just a role player in a 99-89 loss.

Evans played just 22 minutes off the bench, and put up a pretty representative statline. He scored six points on 3 of 6 shooting and added eight rebounds and three steals while turning the ball over twice in the loss.

Evans has struggled to find a consistent role this season, but has been playing well recently. He is averaging 8.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game in 24.4 minutes over his last five.

Reggie Evans doubles up in win over Pelicans

by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(3/4/2014) Kings forward Reggie Evans made his presence felt in the paint on Monday, doubling up with 10 points and 13 rebounds in a 96-89 victory over the Pelicans.

Evans shot 5 of 7 from the field, missing both of his free throw attempts on the night. He also had one blocked shot while logging 30 minutes of game action. He is averaging 6.0 points and 8.8 rebounds over his last five games.

by R.J. White | CBSSports.com

We also thank Marcus for his contributions and wish him great success going forward."

(2/12/2014) Nets forward Reggie Evans will miss the team's next two games Wednesday and Thursday for personal reasons, Newsday reports.

Evans has played just one in his team's last three games, nearly securing a double-double Friday. He has averaged 2.7 points and 5.0 rebounds over 30 games played.

Reggie Evans nearly doubles up in frustrating shooting night

by Igor Mello | CBSSports.com
(2/7/2014) Nets forward Reggie Evans had a rough shooting night on Friday, but still managed to fall one rebound shy of a double-double in a 111-95 loss to the Pistons in Detroit.

Evans scored 11 points on 3 of 10 shooting from the field, and 5 of 7 from the free throw line. He also chipped in with nine rebounds and one steal while logging 20 minutes of game action. He has averaged just 4.0 points and 2.8 rebounds over his last four appearances.

(11/24/2013) Nets forward Reggie Evans scored one point Sunday but did not attempt a field goal in 16 minutes of action in his team's 109-97 loss to the Pistons.

Evans hasn't made more than one field goal in any of his last eight games, hitting three of 11 shots during that stretch. However, he is grabbing his fair share of rebounds, hauling down five on Sunday and averaging 5.3 over 12 games this season while playing 14.3 minutes per game.

Evans remains in Brooklyn

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(6/29/2013) The Nets made one change to their blockbuster deal Friday, swapping out Reggie Evans and sending guard MarShon Brooks to the Celtics instead. Evans was originally included in the eight-person trade, but the Nets opted to include him after failing to find a separate suitor for Brooks. The deal will officially go through July 10, when Keith Bogans can be sign-and-traded to the Celtics to complete the deal.

Evans still swallowing up boards

by Chris Towers | CBSSports.com
(4/6/2013) With how well Reggie Evans has rebounded over the last Month, you can forgive some of his Nets' teammates for their lackluster individual totals. Evans snagged 20 boards Saturday against the Nets, fully half of the team's total, in a 105-96 win. Evans also poured in 14 points on 5 of 7 shooting in 40 minutes of action.
