News: Nets guard Keith Bogans ended his nine-game scoring drought during Wednesday's contest against the Knicks. He made four of his six field-goal attempts and also added one assist to his stat line while logging 21 minutes of game action.
Analysis: While Bogans sees a few minutes here and there when starters need a quick breather, he usually sees the bulk of his time in garbage time. However, the fact that he went nine games without scoring a basket is a bit strange considering he averaging 10-plus minutes per game during his drought. Fantasy owners should continue to ignore Bogans in all formats at this point in the year.
News: Brooklyn guard Keith Bogans finished with nine points -- all on 3-pointers -- during the Nets' 107-96 loss to Minnesota on Monday night. Bogans, who earned the start in place of injured forward Gerald Wallace, went 3 for 4 from downtown and 3 for 5 from the field overall in 14 minutes. So I feel like every shot I take is going to go in."
Analysis: Bogans played just 28 seconds in the Nets' season opener, but was thrust into a larger role Monday with Wallace sidelined. The increase in playing time was another positive step in his return from a devastating ankle injury that ended his season last year in February. "Yeah, I feel good," Bogans said. "But as far as the way I was playing, getting back in the flow of things, I felt good. It felt good to be out there." Bogans isn't expected to earn many minutes once Wallace returns and is still not a worthwhile Fantasy option in the majority of formats.

Analysis: Literally, it's a tough break for Bogans, who played five games with the Nets before sustaining this injury. Bogans was hardly a blip on the Fantasy radar since he was mostly in the lineup because of his defensive presence.
News: New Jersey guard Keith Bogans scored just three points in his 21 minutes of action on Wednesday night versus Detroit. According to the Bergen Record, Bogans left the Nets locker room on crutches and had a protective boot on his left foot. "It doesn't look good," coach Avery Johnson said. Bogans couldn't put any weight on his foot and is going to have an MRI done on Thursday. He added a steal, two assists and a rebound in New Jersey's 99-92 loss.
Analysis: Bogans is more of a defensive specialist, so his Fantasy value is extremely low. With this injury looking pretty serious his stock is plummeting. Owners should not have Bogans on the roster at this time.
News: New Jersey SG Keith Bogans made his first start for his new team on Monday night against Chicago, his former team. Bogans entered Monday's game having played just three games with the Nets. In those three games, Bogans has averaged 3.7 points and 2.3 rebounds over 17.3 minutes per game.
Analysis: Bogans was a starter for the Bulls in 2010-11, but hell likely be mostly a bench contributor for the Nets. He'll start at times, but isn't expected to see heavy minutes. Bogans is a defensive specialist and could see a fair amount of minutes for New Jersey once he learns the system. However, we aren't expecting him to be a major contributor from a Fantasy standpoint.
News: Just hours after announcing he had been signed, the Nets needed G Keith Bogans help in their game against the Pistons on Wednesday. Bogans didnt provide much production, but he gave them valuable minutes on a night when they didnt have many bodies around to soak them up, as the Nets only had eight healthy players for the game. Bogans played 17 minutes in his Nets debut, scoring just two points on 1 of 5 shooting from the field while grabbing just a single rebound. He did not have any assists, but he also did not turn the ball over at all, managing the game while being forced into emergency action in a 99-97 victory.

Whether its San Antonio, the Bulls, Orlando; hes been around the block Hes seen a lot of different situations.
Analysis: Bogans was a starter for the Bulls in 2010-11, but he didn't survive the cut list in December. He is a defensive specialist and could see a fair amount of minutes for New Jersey once he learns the system. However, we aren't expecting him to be a major contributor from a Fantasy standpoint.
News: G Keith Bogans was waived by the Chicago Bulls on Friday. Bogans started all 82 games last season and averaged 4.4 points in 17.8 minutes per game. The Bulls, who had been holding him out of practice, had a $1.73 million contract option for the 2011-12 season and a Dec. 19 deadline for a decision on it. The move makes room for the signing of free agent G Richard Hamilton.
Analysis: Bogans was unlikely to have much value in Fantasy leagues remaining with the Bulls for the season. Despite nominally being a starter, Bogans played extremely limited minutes, and was pushed out of the rotation by the Hamilton signing. Keep an eye on where he catches on, but it's unlikely that Bogans will have Fantasy value no matter where he plays.
News: The Chicago Tribune reports that Bulls guard Keith Bogans has undergone successful arthroscopic right knee surgery to clean up some "wear and tear." This past year, Bogans started all 82 games despite playing through pain in his knee and ankle. The Bulls have until July 10 to decide whether to pick up the $1,728,000 option on Bogans' salary for next season or it becomes non-guaranteed.
Analysis: Keep an eye on what happens with Bogans in his recovery and where he ends up playing. But no matter where Bogans ends up, he has minimal Fantasy value. Ignore him in all leagues on Draft Day.

Analysis: Bogans may start for the Bulls, but he's certainly not going to be the reason they climb back into this series. He's not of much use to Fantasy owners as his numbers are usually minimal. Bogans has been dealing with the ankle injury throughout the playoffs. He should not be drafted in the majority of leagues next season.
News: The Bulls official team website reports that guard Keith Bogans (right ankle) is listed as probable for Tuesday's Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals at Miami. Bogans has been dealing with the ankle injury throughout the playoffs.
Analysis: Bogans is a starter for the Bulls, but he doesn't provide much value for Fantasy owners. Keep an eye on his progress for the remainder of the playoffs, but he should not be drafted in the majority of leagues next season.
News: Bulls guard Keith Bogans was on the court on Thursday as Chicago advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals after beating Atlanta. Bogans has been dealing with a sprained right ankle, but his presence on the court is more for defense than offense. He shot 1 for 3 from downtown, finishing with three points. Bogans added two assists in his 22 minutes of action as the Bulls won the game, 93-73.
Analysis: Bogans doesn't do much on the offensive side of the ball, but does tee up for a few 3-pointers each game. He has a few days off to rest his ankle more before the Bulls face the Heat. When healthy, Bogans doesn't hold much Fantasy value. Heading into the 2011-12 season, Bogans is not a player to target on Draft Day.
News: The Chicago Tribune reports Tuesday that Bulls guard Keith Bogans rested his sprained right ankle but did get shots up on his own at the morning shootaround. He'll play against Hawks in Game 5 on Tuesday night in the Eastern Conference semifinals.
Analysis: It appears like Bogans is expected to play against the Hawks. Even if Bogans is healthy, he is part of a rotation at guard with Ronnie Brewer and Kyle Korver. Heading into 2011-12, Bogans has minimal Fantasy value. Ignore him in all leagues on Draft Day.
News: Bulls guard Keith Bogans was able to play through his sore right knee during Game 5 of Chicago's playoff series against the Pacers. Bogans finished with 17 points in the contest on 5 of 7 shooting from the field. All of his shot attempts were from downtown. Bogans also finished with a pair of steals, two rebounds and an assist in the victory.
Analysis: Bogans was able to play through his sore right knee on Tuesday and delivered one of his most productive games of the season. While he doesn't put up huge numbers on most nights, he continues to start for Chicago for his ability to defend and knock down jumpers. He will need to continue to do both well if the Bulls are going to make a run at a title in June. However, his lack of production makes him a player that should be avoided in the majority of formats next fall.
News: The Bulls report Monday that guard Keith Bogans (right knee) is probable for Game 5 of the first-round playoff series against Indiana.
Analysis: It appears like Bogans is expected to play in what could be the series-clinching game against the Pacers. Even if Bogans is healthy, he is part of a rotation at guard with Ronnie Brewer and Kyle Korver. Heading into 2011-12, Bogans has minimal Fantasy value. Ignore him in all leagues on Draft Day.
News: Chicago guard Keith Bogans played just 17 minutes on Thursday night against Boston as he had been dealing with a sore right knee. He took just three shots from the field -- all from beyond the 3-point arc -- and nailed two of them. Bogans finished with six points and four rebounds. The Bulls went on to beat the Celtics, 97-81.
Analysis: Bogans didn't miss any time because of his knee, but the veteran only sees about 18 minutes per game -- when healthy. Being more of a defensive presence, Bogans doesn't bring much to the Fantasy table. While it is good to see him on the court, Fantasy owners have no use for Bogans. He can be ignored in all formats and should not be on anyone's radar on Draft Day this fall.
News: According to the Chicago Tribune, guard Keith Bogans said prior to Thursday's game against the Celtics that his right knee is sore, but fine. Bogans missed Wednesday's practice, but will start as expected.
Analysis: Bogans isn't a big-time scorer, so his Fantasy value is extremely limited. Despite being well enough to take the court, we do not recommend using Bogans in any format at this stage of the year.
News: The Chicago Tribune reports that Bulls guard Keith Bogans has a sore right knee and didn't practice Wednesday. Coach Tom Thibodeau said he expects Bogans to play Thursday against Boston.
Analysis: Keep an eye on Bogans status and hope he can play against the Celtics. But even when healthy Bogans has minimal Fantasy value in the majority of leagues.
News: Chicago guard Keith Bogans scored a season-high 17 points on Tuesday night against Washington. Bogans took all of his 10 shots from behind the 3-point arc, hitting a season-high five. "We've got a great team," Bogans said. "The guys know when a player goes down, somebody else has to step up." He also nailed both of his foul shots for the Bulls. Bogans added five rebounds, three assists and two steals in his 29 minutes of action. Chicago would go on to beat Washington, 98-79.
Analysis: Bogans has been criticized all season as being an unproductive starter when it comes to offense. Prior to Tuesday's outing he was averaging 4.1 points per game. "It doesn't frustrate me at all," said Bogans. "(As long as) I'm being talked about." Bogans provides solid defense for the Bulls, but that won't give a player much Fantasy value. Despite playing on a winning team, Bogans should be ignored in all formats, even with him posting a season highs.
News: G Keith Bogans has become a starter in his first year with the Bulls, but he does not resemble your usual NBA starter. Through the first 54 games of the season, he has seen about 17 minutes per contest and is averaging 3.9 points with 1.8 rebounds and 1.2 steals. Coach Tom Thibodeau likes to start Bogans to set the pace for their defense, but he usually turns to other players as the game goes on. In the 10 games leading up to the All-Star break, Bogans averaged 5.8 points with 1.4 rbeounds and 1.1 assists while shooting 51 percent from the field.
Analysis: Bogans has been the Bulls' lucky charm this season when he actually does some scoring. Chicago is 16-1 on the year when the 30-year-old scores more than six points. That is an impressive stat but it does not negate the fact that Bogans rarely sees time in the second half of games. He also has been held scoreless 11 times while posting double-digit points in just four games. Bogans will continue to start in Chicago, but Fantasy owners should leave him on waivers in all formats.
News: Bulls G Keith Bogans entered Saturday's game against the Hornets averaging just 3.6 points per contest on the year. He surpassed that greatly as he finished with 11 points in the 97-88 win. He went 4 for 5 from the field, including 3 for 4 from downtown. Bogans, who played 16 minutes, also had four assists and a rebound in the victory.
Analysis: Bogans continues to start for the Bulls but he does not see starter's minutes. He has played an average of 18.2 minutes over his last five contests, and is chipping in with 5.8 points and 1.6 assists over that span. Bogans' main role in Chicago is to set the tone for defense and he offers very little to Fantasy owners. Leave the 30-year-old on waivers in all formats until his production increases.
News: Chicago guard Keith Bogans registered six points and three rebounds in the Bulls' 82-77 victory over Dallas on Thursday night. Bogans shot 2 of 3 from the field -- all from beyond the 3-point arc -- in 21 minutes, his highest total since he logged 34 minutes against Washington on Nov. 13.
Analysis: Bogans' only production seems to be coming from 3-point range recently. Thursday's game marked the fourth straight game all of his field goals have been 3-pointers and he is now 6 for 10 in his last four games. He won't contribute in other areas -- 1.9 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game -- despite playing in the starting lineup. He should not be considered in any Fantasy format right now.
News: Chicago guard Keith Bogans tallied two points in the Bulls' 90-81 victory over New Jersey on Friday. Bogans missed his three shots from the field, including his two attempts from 3-point range, and collected the points from the free-throw line. It was the second time in his last five games he has recorded all of his points from the charity stripe.
Analysis: Despite his woes from the field, Bogans remains in the starting lineup for the Bulls. He isn't playing a lot of minutes, though, and has not reached 20 minutes in a game since Nov. 13 against Washington. He is also limited in other areas on the court, and added just one rebound and steal in Friday's game. Keep him untouched on waivers in all Fantasy formats.
News: Managing to be on the court for just 18 minutes as a starter against the Pacers on Monday, Bulls guard Keith Bogans shot just 1 for 3 from the field. Bogans scored three points out of the starting lineup and added just four rebounds, three assists and a steal in the game. He went 1 for 3 from 3-point range and 0 for 2 from the free throw line.
Analysis: The 18 minutes Bogans played on Monday was actually his high in his last five games. That is very telling as Bogans is a starter who doesn't get much run. He doesn't have much Fantasy value, either.
News: Bulls G Keith Bogans had another low-scoring night on Saturday against the Rockets. He posted just six points in 16 minutes during the 119-166 overtime win. Bogans was an efficient 2 of 3 from the field, including 1 for 2 from downtown, and made 1 of 2 free throws. He did not record another stat in the victory.
Analysis: Bogans continues to start for the Bulls but he has not been producing much of anything for Fantasy owners. He is averaging 3.6 points with 0.8 assists and 0.6 rebounds over his last five contests and is not a scoring threat at all. With his limited production over the last few games, continue to view Bogans as a low-end option for the deepest of Fantasy leagues heading into Week 7 (Dec. 6-12).
News: Bulls guard Keith Bogans continued to start on Wednesday during a loss to the Spurs. He also continued to put up mediocre production. Bogans played 16 minutes and scored just three points on a 3-pointer. He shot 1 for 4 overall and did not have a rebound or assist in the performance.
Analysis: Bogans was scoring in double figures for a small stretch there last week but is back to minimal numbers. He's averaging just 6.0 points and 3.6 rebounds per game on the year and only has low-end Fantasy appeal.
News: Chicago guard Keith Bogans scored a season-high 14 points on a 6-for-10 shooting effort on Thursday against Golden State. He hit two 3-pointers, grabbed five rebounds, made a season-high six steals and had two assists, as the Bulls would run laps around the Warriors en route to a 120-90 win. "Monta is one of the best scorers in the league," Bogans said. "At practice they were killing me today, saying he might have 50 tonight. I went home and got ready to play. I wanted to come in and make everything tough for him. He's a great player. And they did a great job of helping me out also."
Analysis: Bogans had a nice game for the Bulls on Thursday, but normally doesn't have to be counted on for scoring. He's a defensive guard and usually will only contribute steals and rebounds. He is no more than a low-end option in the deepest of category-based Fantasy leagues, and that's when he is playing well.
News: Bulls starter at shooting guard, Keith Bogans, scored in double figures for the first time all season on Monday against Denver. The former Kentucky Wildcat played 28 minutes and shot 4 of 7 from the field to score 10 points. He went 2 for 4 from 3-point range and added four rebounds, two assists and a steal.
Analysis: Bogans is never going to give Fantasy owners the type of scoring they would crave in order to own him. Despite being a starter, Bogans has averaged just 3.2 points and 4.4 rebounds per game over 24.6 minutes. He is not someone to own in Fantasy at this time, even in deeper formats.
News: Bulls guard Keith Bogans tallied almost 36 minutes in Chicago's season opener on Wednesday against Oklahoma City, but managed just three points. He went 1 for 4 from the field -- 1 for 2 from behind the arc -- after being named the starter over Ronnie Brewer. Bogans grabbed seven boards, dished out four assists, blocked a shot and made a steal in the Bulls 95-106 loss to the Thunder.
Analysis: Bogans is known for his defense and not his offense, which was evident on Wednesday. Brewer is still coming back from a hamstring injury and could unseat Bogans as the season moves on. Bogans averaged just 4.4 points and 2.2 rebounds in 79 games with the Spurs last season while playing an average of 19.7 minutes. Despite starting for Chicago right now, Bogans shouldn't be trusted in most Fantasy leagues. If he starts to produce and hangs onto the job, he can be viewed a low-end guard option in deeper formats.
News: Chicago guard Keith Bogans won the starting job at shooting guard on Monday, reports ESPN.com. Bogans won the job over Ronnie Brewer, who is still trying to come back from a hamstring injury.
Analysis: Bogans played with the Spurs last season and is not the best scorer. Bogans averaged just 4.4 points and 2.2 rebounds in 79 games with the Spurs last season while playing an average of 19.7 minutes. With the Bulls, as a starter, Bogans will see more playing time than last year. That said, we can't see his numbers being so good he has to be used in all Fantasy leagues. He's still just a low-end Fantasy option until he proves otherwise.
News: Bulls G/F Keith Bogans got the start on Friday night against the Wizards and did some damage while playing 24 minutes. He scored 11 points of 4 of 7 shooting, including going 3 for 4 from the 3-point line. He also chipped in with two rebounds and two assists in the 107-96 win.
Analysis: Bogans averaged just 4.4 points and 2.2 rebounds in 79 games with the Spurs last season while playing an average of 19.7 minutes. He was pretty efficient on Friday night but Fantasy owners should not be expecting him to start on a regular basis. Bogans, seven-year veteran out of Kentucky, will have to fight for minutes starting out but become an attractive option later on in the year if able to consistently produce. He will not have any value on Draft Day and should be ignored in all but the deepest of Fantasy leagues.
News: According to the team's official Twitter feed, Spurs G Manu Ginobili has been ruled out for Monday's game in New Jersey due to lower back spasms. He is considered day to day. The Nets' official Twitter feed reports that coach Gregg Popovich has listed Keith Bogans as his replacement in the starting lineup.
Analysis: This puts Fantasy owners in a very tricky spot. Ginobili has been one of the better guards in Fantasy since the injury to Tony Parker, but he'll play at best three games in Week 23 (March 29-April 4). There is no guarantee at the moment that he will return Wednesday night against Houston, either. Start him at your own peril, but he's made himself worthy of the gamble in most formats by averaging a 22-6-4 line in March. Bogans is worth a flier only in deeper leagues and will likely just be just a short-term stopgap measure in larger daily lineup leagues.
News: Spurs guard Keith Bogans hit two 3-pointers on Tuesday in a win at Miami. Bogans played 24 minutes and scored eight points with six boards. He added three dimes and shot 3 of 7 overall.
Analysis: Bogans is never going to contribute consistently this season for the Spurs. The best you can hope for is he gets hot from long range in a game or two here and there. For that, leave Bogans for the deepest of Fantasy formats.
News: Spurs G Keith Bogans was held scoreless in Sunday's game against Phoenix. He started at small forward, but played only 11 minutes.
Analysis: Bogans has gotten a chance to enter the starting lineup with Richard Jefferson moving to the bench, but Jefferson is still the player who will see the majority of the minutes at the three and Bogans should not be used in Fantasy as a result.
News: Spurs G Keith Bogans got 22 minutes of playing time Thursday in Denver, but he was held scoreless. He picked up five fouls to go with his four boards and an assist. He entered the All-Star break averaging just 4.7 points and 1.2 assists in 49 appearances.
Analysis: Bogans has started 38 games for the Spurs, but even in those games he is not much of a factor, averaging under four shot attempts per game. He has no real Fantasy appeal.
News: Spurs SG Keith Bogans started for the seventh time this season Monday against the Bucks, scoring 10 points and pulling down one rebound in 19 minutes. He has scored in double figures only twice this season.
Analysis: Bogans might start, but he's mostly just a placeholder while players like Manu Ginobili and George Hill put up the numbers off the bench. Bogans should remain on waivers in most Fantasy leagues.
News: Guard Keith Bogans is the latest newcomer to the San Antonio Spurs. Bogans' agent, Michael Harrison, says he is set to sign a guaranteed one-year deal with the Spurs before training camp starts next week. San Antonio will be Bogan's fifth team in seven seasons.
Analysis: The 29-year-old Bogans averaged 5.6 points playing for Orlando and Milwaukee last season. His biggest asset to the Spurs will be on defense after the Spurs traded away Bruce Bowen this summer. Don't expect him to have any Fantasy appeal.
News: Milwaukee SG Keith Bogans was able to get on the floor on Thursday against the Sixers. He played three minutes and failed to score in the game. He missed one game with the ankle injury.
Analysis: Bogans only comes off the bench to sharp shoot three-pointers. He is not worth owning in Fantasy at this point in his career.
News: Bucks backup G Keith Bogans, who sprained his right ankle Monday against the Nets, could not return to play in Wednesday's game against the Lakers. He remains day to day.
Analysis: Bogans basically comes in off the bench to sharp shoot three-pointers and little else. Leave him on waivers as he has little to no Fantasy value.
News: Bucks backup G Keith Bogans sprained his right ankle Monday against the Nets in the first half and did not return. He finished without any points.
Analysis: Bogans basically comes in off the bench to sharp shoot three-pointers and little else. Leave him on waivers as he has little to no Fantasy value.
News: Bucks SG Keith Bogans played 20 minutes on Tuesday in a loss to New York and scored nine points with seven rebounds. He also had two steals and was 2-of-4 from downtown.
Analysis: Bogans did a little of everything on Tuesday, just not enough to really warrant using him as anything but a player best used in deeper leagues.
News: The Orlando Magic have traded shooting guard Keith Bogans to the Milwaukee Bucks for point guard Tyronn Lue and cash considerations. General Manager Otis Smith announced the trade Thursday, three days after the Southeast Division-leading Magic lost All-Star point guard Jameer Nelson to injury. Lue has played in 30 games this season for Milwaukee, averaging 4.7 points and 1.5 assists per game. He played in 76 games for the Magic in the 2003-04 season, and will be asked to help fill the point guard shortage. Nelson tore the labrum in his right shoulder in Orlando's 105-95 loss to the Mavericks on Monday night. He is deciding over the next few weeks whether he will have season-ending surgery or hold off and attempt rehabilitation.
Analysis: Bogans will help Milwaukee fill the void at shooting guard left with Michael Redd (knee) out for the year. Keep an eye on how Bogans does with the Bucks, but he could be worth adding in deeper leagues at this time. For now, Bogans has minimal Fantasy value and could take some time to adjust to his new team.
News: Orlando SG Keith Bogans returned to action on Sunday against the Spurs, scoring three points and grabbing two rebounds.
Analysis: Bogans basically comes in off the bench to sharp shoot three-pointers and little else. Leave him on waivers as he has little to no Fantasy value.
News: Orlando G Keith Bogans missed his third straight game with a sprained right ankle on Friday against the Magic. He remains questionable for Sunday at San Antonio.
Analysis: Bogans takes a lot of three-pointers but isn't hitting on all that many of them, making him of little value in Fantasy. Keep leaving him on waivers for now.
News: Orlando G Keith Bogans missed his second straight game with a sprained right ankle on Wednesday as the Magic defeated the Hawks.
Analysis: Bogans takes a lot of three-pointers but isn't hitting on all that many of them, making him of little value in Fantasy. Keep leaving him on waivers for now.
News: Orlando G Keith Bogans played in Friday's game against the Heat instead of sitting out with a sprained right ankle. He scored seven points in the game, had two boards and an assist.
Analysis: Bogans takes a lot of three-pointers but isn't hitting on all that many of them, making him of little value in Fantasy. Keep leaving him on waivers for now.
News: Orlando G Keith Bogans sat out the fourth quarter with a sprained right ankle in Wednesday's game against the Bulls. Bogans finished with three points in 28 minutes. He was 1-of-5 from long range.
Analysis: Bogans is averaging 3.4 points, 4.2 boards and less than one assist per game over his last five with 25 minutes of playing time per contest. He's shooting a lot of threes and not hitting them and his percentages are way off right now. Bogans has minimal Fantasy value at this time and should not be used in any leagues, even when healthy.
News: Former starter Mickael Pietrus, still playing with a split on his broken right thumb, continued to come off the bench for the Magic and finished with 11 points Thursday against New Orleans. Keith Bogans, who started in his place, did not score. Pietrus also added two rebounds.
Analysis: Pietrus can return to a No. 3 Fantasy option once he gets back at 100 percent. He's still playing hurt, but at least he's playing. Keep an eye on how he does and hopefully the splint can be put away soon. Bogans has minimal Fantasy value at this time and should not be used in any leagues.
News: Orlando SG Keith Bogans shot poorly (1-for-5) from the field in Saturday's win over the Lakers and scored just three points despite starting and playing 26 minutes. Bogans added just two rebounds and had five fouls.
Analysis: Bogans is not shooting well lately and he's scoring just 7.8 points and grabbing 4.2 rebounds per game over his last five. Bogans still won't make enough of an impact to be worth having in Fantasy. Leave him on waivers.
News: Magic SG Keith Bogans scored 9 points in his return which took less than two weeks. He was expected to miss 4-6 weeks with a thumb injury.
Analysis: Although he is back, Bogans still won't make enough of an impact to be worth having in Fantasy. Leave him on waivers.
News: Magic reserve guard Keith Bogans has had the cast removed from his broken thumb and could have played Wednesday against the Pacers. His status for now is day to day.
Analysis: Bogans was supposed to miss 4-6 weeks with the injury, putting him out until late December, but he's apparently ready to return much sooner than expected. He doesn't get enough minutes, however, to make a serious Fantasy impact. Leave him on waivers except in deeper leagues.
News: Magic backup guard Keith Bogans will be out from four to six weeks because of a broken thumb on his non-shooting hand. Bogans was injured during the Magic's game against Houston on Saturday. The 6-foot-5 Bogans, who has been the Magic's top sub during their strong start, has averaged six points in 24 minutes a game. His 36 percent 3-point shooting has helped open the inside game for All-Star center Dwight Howard. With Bogans out, J.J. Redick, Anthony Johnson and rookie Courtney Lee will get more time backing up starters Jameer Howard and Mickael Pietrus.
Analysis: Bogans has minimal Fantasy value when healthy, so keep him reserved in all leagues at this time if you own him. Hopefully he can return at 100 percent in four weeks with the thumb healed.
News: Magic SG Keith Bogans, replaced by newcomer Mickael Pietrus in the starting lineup this season, outperformed the former Warrior against the Bulls on Monday. He finished with 13 points, five rebounds, one assist and one steal in 27 minutes off the bench.
Analysis: Bogans had a season high of seven points before Monday's game, and he likely won't break double digits often as a reserve. Consider him just a low-end Fantasy guard.
News: In Fantasy Week 1 (Oct. 27-Nov. 2), the Magic will play three teams that allowed at least 100 points per game last season, which would indicate a positive start for them in Fantasy.
Analysis: Mickael Pietrus will be the team's sixth man off the bench, but let him show what he can do before activating him. Bottom rung options like Keith Bogans, Courtney Lee, Anthony Johnson and J.J. Redick should be reserved.
News: Magic SG Keith Bogans did not score a point in Monday's preseason opener vs. Atlanta in 12 minutes of action on the floor. He attempted only one shot.
Analysis: Bogans lost his starting job midway through last season to Maurice Evans and despite Evans being an Atlanta Hawk now, there is little chance he'll get it back. He's in an open competition with Mickael Pietrus, Courtney Lee and J.J. Redick and right now he ranks fourth on that list. He's far from being a viable Fantasy option.
News:Keith Bogans will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason. He appeared in 82 games for Orlando during the regular season, but lost his starting job midway through the season to Maurice Evans. Bogans averaged 10.2 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 35 starts.
Analysis: Bogans isn't going to be getting too many offers on the free agent market, but it would be be better for him to land somewhere that he can start again. That could still be Orlando, although it is unlikely. Evans is also an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
News: Magic guard Keith Bogans continues to battle a strained abdominal muscle. "Take a little medicine, ice it, and go out there and try not to get hit on it," Bogans said. "It's painful." Bogans had 17 points, two assists and one rebounds Wednesday at Washington.
Analysis: Bogans has minimal Fantasy value at this time, especially if he's hurt. Don't plan on using him in most formats any time soon.
News: Magic SG Keith Bogans scored 13 points on 5 of 7 shooting in 22 minutes off the bench Wednesday against the 76ers. Bogans, who also had one rebound and two assists, has scored in double figures for three of the last six games.
Analysis: Bogans saw a considerable amount of PT Wednesday as Stan Van Gundy sat Maurice Evans for most of the second half. Bogans is a decent bench option for the Magic, but doesn't do enough consistently for heavy Fantasy use. Consider him a low-end flier in the deepest of Fantasy leagues.
News: Magic SG Keith Bogans scored 19 points -- his second-highest single-game total of the year -- in 32 minutes off the bench Tuesday at Detroit. He shot 6-for-8 from the floor, including 3-for-4 from 3-point range. He also had three rebounds and one assist.
Analysis: Since moving to the bench, Bogans has rarely contributed double-digit scoring performances. Since he averages only 3.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game, he has little Fantasy appeal.
News: Magic SG Keith Bogans, recently demoted to a reserve role, scored 16 points off the bench Saturday at Indiana -- his most since Dec. 15. He also had four rebounds and three assists.
Analysis: Bogans doesn't contribute regularly enough off the bench to have any real Fantasy value. Leave him on waivers in all but the deepest of leagues.
News: Magic SG Keith Bogans struggled with his shot again Friday at Philadelphia, scoring six points on 2-of-8 shooting (including 1-of-6 from 3-point range) in 26 minutes off the bench. He also had four rebounds.
Analysis: Bogans has shot only 24 percent (5-for-21) from the field over his last three games. He has scored in double figures only once in his last six games and no longer makes for a decent start in Fantasy. Leave him on waivers in all but the deepest of leagues.
News: Magic SG Keith Bogans had 15 points on 5-of-7 shooting off the bench Tuesday against the Bulls. He also had three rebounds and an assist.
Analysis: Bogans has averaged 11.3 points over his last three games. Since he seems to perform better off the bench, he stands little chance of returning to the starting lineup. Treat him as a low-end Fantasy guard.
News: Magic SG Keith Bogans scored 14 points in Thursday's loss at Denver in just his third game this season coming off the bench. He has been replaced in the starting lineup by Maurice Evans. Bogans also added four rebounds, an assist and a steal.
Analysis: Bogans has actually played a little better off the bench in the last couple of games than he had been as a starter. Perhaps the Magic have found somthing with Evans starting and Bogans coming off the bench. Both players continue to see about the same amount of playing time.
News: Magic SG Keith Bogans, who injured his ankle Friday after not starting for the first time all season, returned to the starting lineup Tuesday at Sacramento. He played only 14 minutes, though, scoring three points.
Analysis: Bogans averages around 10 points per game, so he doesn't have much of an offensive role even when he starts. Think of him as a low-end Fantasy option if he starts and waiver fodder if he doesn't.
News: The Magic's backcourt rotation likely will continue to evolve on this week's upcoming Western swing. PG Carlos Arroyo and SG Keyon Dooling were the starters in Friday's loss to the Rockets, but more changes are expected to follow. A slow start by the Magic (22-13) at Amway Arena on Friday didn't help the cause of the latest backcourt, which means that Jameer Nelson and Keith Bogans might be starting again before long. "I don't know what we're going to do. We're in flux," said Coach Stan Van Gundy after Sunday's practice.
Analysis: Bogans averages around 10 points per game, so he doesn't have much of an offensive role even when he starts. Think of him as a low-end Fantasy option if he starts and waiver fodder if he doesn't. Right now, he remains day to day with an ankle injury.
News: For the first time all season, Magic G Keith Bogans didn't start Friday against the Rockets. Perhaps it was an omen of things to come because he left in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury. He had four points in 14 minutes off the bench.
Analysis: Keyon Dooling replaced Bogans in the starting lineup and played 34 minutes. Bogans barely averages over 10 points per game and had scored in double figures in each of his last five, but if the Magic decide to phase him out of the lineup, he won't even have Fantasy value as a low-end option. Reserve him now regardless because of this ankle injury.
News: Magic SG Keith Bogans had 10 points in Wednesday's loss to New Jersey. He shot 3-for-6 from beyond the arc and has shot 7-for-14 from beyond the arc in the last two games.
Analysis: Bogans is averaging a 10-4-1 line per night and is useful in small doses from a Fantasy perspective. It helps that he starts and sees around 30 minutes per night.
News: Magic G Keith Bogans played well in Monday's overtime win at Chicago, scoring 14 points with four rebounds and four made three-pointers.
Analysis: Bogans played well and got 40 minutes of playing time in the overtime win. He continues to start for the Magic and he sees enough minutes to be useful as a low-end starter in leagues of 12-plus teams.
News: Magic SG Keith Bogans scored just three points in Sunday's loss at Boston, shooting just 1-for-2 from the field.
Analysis: Bogans had scored at least nine points in four straight games and had scored in double figures in three out of four games. He starts for the Magic, but really doesn't contribute much on the offense end. He should be nothing more than a bench-warming guard in Fantasy.
News: Magic SG Keith Bogans scored in single digits for the third time in his last four games on Monday night against the Mavericks. He was 1-for-5 from 3-point range and has only made one shot from downtown in three of his last four games.
Analysis: Bogans starts for the Magic, but really doesn't contribute much on the offense end. He should be nothing more than a bench-warming guard in all formats.
News: Magic SG Keith Bogans played in spite of a quadriceps injury Monday against the Hawks. He scored 12 points and pulled down four rebounds.
Analysis: Bogans is starting at shooting guard for the Magic and, as a result, warrants attention in most Fantasy formats. Unfortunately, he's the fifth-best scoring option in his team's starting lineup, meaning his stat line will go up and down pretty much all season.
News: Magic SG Keith Bogans (quadriceps) is considered questionable for Monday's game vs. Atlanta. He is considered day to day. If he can't go, Keyon Dooling will start in his place.
Analysis: Bogans is starting at shooting guard for the Magic and, as a result, warrants attention in most Fantasy formats. Unfortunately, he's the fifth-best scoring option in his team's starting lineup, meaning his stat line will go up and down pretty much all season.
News: Magic SG Keith Bogans had 10 points with two rebounds and an assist in Sunday's win vs. Boston. He's scored in double figures in three of his last four games.
Analysis: Bogans has been seeing around 10 shots per game over the last week and his role as the starting shooting guard makes him worthy of a spot on Fantasy rosters in leagues of 10-plus teams.
News: Magic SG Keith Bogans scored 16 points on 5-of-12 shooting Tuesday against the Sonics. He shot 5-of-9 from three-point range and also added seven rebounds and three assists.
Analysis: Bogans is starting at shooting guard for the Magic and, as a result, warrants attention in most Fantasy formats. Unfortunately, he's the fifth-best scoring option in his team's starting lineup, meaning his stat line will go up and down pretty much all season. He's only scored in the double digits in three of his team's first eight games.
News: Keith Bogans hasn't missed a shot this season. Bogans, the starting shooting guard, hit all four of his shots -- all three-pointers -- in Friday night's loss to the Detroit Pistons. He hit his only two shots -- both three-pointers -- in the opening night victory against Milwaukee.
Analysis: Bogans is starting at shooting guard for the Magic and as a result warrants attention in most Fantasy formats. He saw 33 minutes on Friday and also added four boards and an assist. He cracked double digits on Friday, but will likely be up-and-down with his outputs.
News: According to The Sports Xchange, Keith Bogans will open the season as starting shooting guard for the Magic.
Analysis: Even with this announcement, Bogans doesn't have much value in Fantasy. He's more of a defender -- think a Bruce Bowen type -- meaning J.J. Redick, Pat Garrity and Trevor Ariza still have a higher spot on Fantasy depth charts.
News: Magic SG Keith Bogans scored 14 points with one assist in Saturday's preseason win over the Cavaliers in Macau, China.
Analysis: Already banged up in the preseason, the Magic used just four players off the bench Saturday. That forced regulars like Bogans to play longer than they would in a normal preseason game. Bogans played 33 minutes. He is playing for a chance to start at the two for the Magic and can use all the minutes he can get to prove he is worth the job. At this time, however, Bogans is worth little more than a late-round pick in most Fantasy formats.
News: Guard Keith Bogans was on the inactive list Friday, the first time all season he was on the list without being injured.
Analysis: Bogans, who started 18 games this season when Grant Hill was injured, hasn't played since March 12 against Charlotte when he made only one of five shots. Ignore him in all Fantasy formats until further notice.
News: Guard Keith Bogans remained in the starting lineup Saturday, despite his struggles as he tries to replace Grant Hill. Bogans is known as a defensive specialist, and he has struggled to score or produce the offensive impact that Hill normally does.
Analysis: In Friday's start against the Spurs, he managed just four points, no assists and three turnovers. Those numbers aren't enough for us to push him as a stopgap.
News: Guard Keith Bogans will start Saturday for the second consecutive night in place of Grant Hill, but he clearly isn't starting material in the NBA.
Analysis: In Friday's start against the Spurs, he managed just four points, no assists and three turnovers. Those numbers aren't enough for us to push him as a stopgap.
News: Magic guard Keith Bogans is expected to start Friday in San Antonio in place of Grant Hill, who left Wednesday's game with a sore left foot. It's the same injury he had at midseason when he missed three games. He has been getting treatment for it regularly.
Analysis: Hill finished the game with two rebounds and an assist in 13 minutes. Keep him reserved in all daily leagues and continue to monitor his status before setting your lineup for the next scoring period. Bogans has minimal Fantasy value at this time.
News: Magic guard Keith Bogans had 19 points, two rebounds and three assists Tuesday against the Bucks.
Analysis: Bogans is worth keeping an eye on with Grant Hill's injury situation. He started against Milwaukee and played 32 minutes. For now, keep him reserved.
News: Keith Bogans came off the bench and had his best game of the season Wednesday, scoring 14 points and getting a career-high seven assists.
Analysis: Bogans got his playing time because Keyon Dooling is out with an injury. Despite the decent game, he is not worth using in most Fantasy leagues.
News: Keith Bogans had 14 points and tied a career high with seven assists for Orlando Wednesday against the Bucks. He also had five rebounds in the game.
Analysis: Bogans' 14-point outburst ended a seven-game drought in which he scored less than 10 points. Despite the decent game, he is not worth using in most Fantasy leagues.
News: Jameer Nelson had 11 points, Keith Bogans made three 3-pointers and Darko Milicic added nine rebounds for Orlando, which ended a six-game skid in Cleveland on Monday.
Analysis: Bogans had three boards in 16 minutes. Despite the decent game, he is not worth using in most Fantasy leagues.
News: Magic G Keith Bogans replaced Grant Hill in the starting lineup Saturday -- his seventh start of the season -- but he didn't help his cause for more playing time. Bogans played 21 minutes, but he managed just four points and hit only one of three shots. His struggles may be helping the cause of J.J. Redick, who had a career-high 13 points Saturday.
Analysis: Bogans hasn't been a terrific Fantasy option this season and he remains a less than desireable Fantasy option at this time.
News: Magic G Keith Bogans scored just four points despite starting Saturday at New Jersey.
Analysis: Bogans hasn't been a terrific Fantasy option this season, but he is doing enough to warrant attention in larger Rotisserie formats for help in the three-point category. He was only 1-for-2 from long range on Saturday, though.
News: Magic G Keith Bogans shot 6-for-9 from the floor Wednesday, including 3-for-5 from three-point range at the Warriors. He finished with 16 points.
Analysis: Bogans hasn't been a terrific Fantasy option this season, but he is doing enough to warrant attention in larger Rotisserie formats for help in the three-point category.

Analysis: If Bogans ever gets extended minutes again, he'd be worth picking up -- but he's averaging only 12.8 mpg right now, so leave him as a free agent.
News: Magic F Pat Garrity, F Bo Outlaw, G Keith Bogans, G Travis Diener and F James Augustine did not play on Friday against the Blazers.
Analysis: None of these players are recommended Fantasy options at this time.
News: Keith Bogans, who played only 14 minutes Friday night, will get his second start of the season Saturday because Grant Hill will not be available.
Analysis: Although Keyon Dooling normally is the first guard off the bench, Coach Brian Hill does not want to change the rotation anymore than he has to. Dooling usually plays alongside backup point guard Carlos Arroyo. Bogans, a lightly used reserve guard, should not be considered a viable Fantasy option despite the rare start.
News: Orlando forward Grant Hill was inactive for Saturday night's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, part of the Magic's plan to rest the injury-prone star more this season. Keith Bogans started in Hill's place and Travis Diener was activated to fill the open roster spot.
Analysis: Neither Bogans or Diener are strong Fantasy options at this time. There is no need to make them a part of your active Fantasy rotation.
News: Magic G Keith Bogans scored five points in five minutes off the bench Wednesday vs. Seattle.
Analysis: Bogans, a lightly used reserve guard, should not be considered a viable Fantasy option.
News: Pat Garrity scored 19 points and Dwight Howard added 17 to lead the Magic past the Hornets in preseason action Friday in Oklahoma City. Travis Diener added 14 points for Orlando, while rookie Kasib Powell had 12 and Darko Milicic and Keith Bogans had 10 each. "We came out and started the game very slow again," Magic coach Brian Hill said. "Some of that could be because we don't have everyone in there, but right now our slow starts are something that is a concern to me. Hopefully we can fix that when we have everyone available."
Analysis: Players like Powell, Bogans and Diener can credit their nice outputs to seeing more minutes than they likely would during the regular season. As for Howard, he is capable of this type of game every night. If his scoring gets a boost this season as we believe it will, Howard can be among the most productive Fantasy players in the game. We like Darko as a sleeper to take in the middle-to-late rounds on Draft Day because he will see extended minutes for a full season for the first time in his career. We like Garrity as a forward that can help in the 3-point categories in Rotisserie formats, but his value will be limited to being a reserve in most head-to-head formats this season.
News: The Orlando Magic signed guard Keith Bogans on Thursday, ending a bid to keep DeShawn Stevenson after the starting guard opted to test the free-agent market. The 6-foot-5 Bogans spent his rookie year with the Magic three seasons ago after Orlando acquired him in a draft night deal from Milwaukee. He appeared in 73 games as a rookie, averaging 7 points and 4 rebounds. Bogans most recently played for the Houston Rockets, who acquired him in a trade with Charlotte for forward Lonny Baxter in February. Bogans averaged 11 points last season. "What I like about Keith is his toughness, his ability to defend, his ability to hit an open shot," Magic general manager Otis Smith said. Bogans was a restricted free agent, but the Rockets chose not to match Orlando's offer, agent Michael Harrison said.
Analysis: He'll only have Fantasy value in much larger leagues.

News: Keith Bogans made just one of 12 shots Monday vs. New Jersey, scoring two points, with seven rebounds and four assists.
Analysis: With T-Mac out for an extended period of time, Bogans is worth a look in larger leagues down the stretch despite the poor shooting effort. He'll get plenty of chances to contribute down the stretch for the sinking Rockets.
News: Forward Keith Bogans had 13 points and five minutes in 41 minutes starting in place of Tracy McGrady.
Analysis: There is still no word on how long McGrady will be away, but Bogans would only be worth picking up as a short-term replacement for T-Mac owners in leagues that allow daily transactions.
News: Tracy McGrady was not with the Houston Rockets for Friday night's game against Golden State because of a death in the family. Team officials announced that McGrady was out of town, but would not give further details. During All-Star weekend in Houston last Friday, McGrady said he was dealing with some of the worst personal issues of his life, and that they had affected his play this season. He never specified what those issues were, but on Wednesday he said they were behind him. "That's over with," he said. "It's time to move on. We're not even mentioning that. I'm not going to talk about it."
Analysis: McGrady followed up his 36-point performance in the All-Star game by scoring 26 in a win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday. Keith Bogans was expected to start in place of McGrady. The Rockets are 0-13 without McGrady this season.
News: Keith Bogans (knee) returned to action on Saturday and scored four points in 10 minutes in his Rockets debut.
Analysis: It doesn't appear that he will have Fantasy value in Houston.
News: The Houston Rockets acquired guard Keith Bogans from the Charlotte Bobcats on Thursday for forward Lonny Baxter. The 6-foot-5 Bogans is averaging 8.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.0 steals in 39 games with Charlotte this season. He has started nine games and scored 10 or more points 17 times. Bogans has missed nine games after a right knee sprain at Milwaukee on Jan. 21.
Analysis: The move reunites Bogans with his former Kentucky teammate, Chuck Hayes. Bogans played in 135 games at Kentucky between 2000-03, averaging 14.2 points and 4.1 rebounds. He finished fourth on the school's all-time scoring list with 1,923 points. In his pro career, Bogans has averaged 8.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 186 games with Orlando and Charlotte. He has minimal Fantasy.
News: Charlotte guard Keith Bogans sprained his knee and will join five other Bobcats on the sidelines. Bogans was injured in Saturday night's 101-91 loss to Milwaukee. No timetable was given for his return. "It is unfortunate that we have suffered another injury, but we will continue to play hard and compete with the group that we have," said Bobcats coach and general manager Bernie Bickerstaff on Monday. He joins leading scorer Gerald Wallace (knee), starters Emeka Okafor (ankle) and Kareem Rush (finger) and reserves Melvin Ely (ankle) and Sean May (knee surgery) on the injured list.
Analysis: Bogans averaged 8.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 22 minutes in 39 games this season. He has minimal Fantasy value when healthy.

News: Keith Bogans scored 18 points on 7-for-11 shooting on Friday vs. Phoenix.
Analysis: Bogans returned to the bench with the return of Kareem Rush. Look to see what kind of role he takes in the coming games.
News: Keith Bogans got the start on Sunday at L.A. Lakers in place of the injured Kareem Rush (finger). He finished with 12 points and three rebounds in 24 minutes.
Analysis: Bogans might be a decent short-term Fantasy addition in all leagues, especially if you need a replacement for Rush.
News: Keith Bogans is shooting 33.7 percent from the field this season.
Analysis: Bogans could have found a spot in the starting rotation if his shooting wasn't so poor. The Bobcats are 0-4 in games in which he starts. He has no value in Fantasy leagues unless he can work his way into the regular rotation.
