He averaged 11.3 points and 5.8 assists per game in the postseason, though he appeared in just four games.
Analysis: Hinrich missed 22 games during the regular season due to a variety of issues, and was never able to . He averaged 7.7 points and 5.2 assists on 37.7 percent shooting from the field -- the lowest shooting percentage of his career -- during the regular season while filling in for Derrick Rose. However, he will likely be moved back into a reserve role, assuming Rose is healthy next year, which will severely limit his already limited Fantasy value. Hinrich will likely only be worth scooping up in the later rounds in deeper draft formats next fall.
News: The Bulls have ruled out guard Kirk Hinrich (calf) for Game 4 against Miami in the Eastern Conference semifinals Monday night, the Chicago Tribune reports. Hinrich has only been available in four postseason games thus far for Chicago.
Analysis: The Bulls have reported that Hinrich's injury isn't healing the way the team would like and it sounds as if he is not going to return anytime in the very near future. It is Game 4 already and the Bulls are down 2-1 in the series, so we're not sure how much time he has left to make a return. When healthy and active, Hinrich is a low-end Fantasy option in the majority of leagues.

Hinrich has been out since Game 4 of the first-round series with the Nets with a calf injury. Coach Tom Thibodeau said Hinrich "has a ways to go," and the report says the injury isn't improving.
Analysis: It sounds like Hinrich will be out for a while, but continue to monitor what develops. When healthy and active, Hinrich is a low-end Fantasy option in the majority of leagues.

Analysis: Hinrich missed 22 games during the regular season due to a variety of issues, and has been unable to stay healthy in the postseason as well.
News: Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich's status for Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Heat Wednesday remains in question after he went through another round of treatment on his injured left calf. Hinrich, who has missed Chicago's last four games with his injury, is tentatively slated to under go an MRI Thursday in Chicago, ESPN reports. He is officially being listed as questionable on the team's injury report.
Analysis: While the Bulls have not ruled Hinrich out for Game 2 just yet, it doesn't sound like they are planning on having him on the court. The veteran continues to be slowed by a bruised left calf, which has left Chicago extremely shorthanded at the guard position. Hinrich missed 22 games during the regular season due to a variety of issues and averaged 7.7 points and 5.2 assists on 37.7 percent shooting from the field -- the lowest shooting percentage of his career -- during the regular season while filling in for Derrick Rose. Analysis: Hinrich has been doing everything he can to get back on the court, but his calf is still too tight to play on. Chicago will need him back on the floor if they have any chance to pull off the upset, but his status moving forward very much remains in question. Hinrich averaged 7.7 points and 5.2 assists on 37.7 percent shooting from the field -- the lowest shooting percentage of his career -- during the regular season, while filling in for Derrick Rose. However, he will likely be moved back into a reserve role, assuming Rose is healthy next year, which will severely limit his already limited Fantasy value. Hinrich will likely only be worth scooping up in the later rounds in deeper draft formats next fall.
News: Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich was forced to miss his third straight game due to a bruised left calf Sunday, but luckily his season did not come to an end. The Bulls won the final game of the first round, 99-93, over the Nets. Hinrich's status is not yet known for the beginning of the Eastern Conference Semifinals Monday.
Analysis: Hinrich is dealing with a left calf bruise and while he is being listed as day to day, coach Tom Thibodeau isn't sure when he will be able to get back on the court. While the veteran has been a steadying force for the Bulls in the playoffs, his production in the regular season was much more inconsistent. In fact, Hinrich averaged just 7.7 points and 5.2 assists on 37.7 percent shooting from the field -- the lowest shooting percentage of his career. While Hinrich is expected to be back in Chicago next season, he will be moved back into a reserve role, assuming Derrick Rose is healthy. We don't anticipate Hinrich having much Fantasy value heading into the 2013-14 campaign.

Hinrich was taking shots after a film session Friday and traveled with the team to New York, but the report says he remains doubtful for Game 7.
Analysis: Hinrich is a low-end Fantasy option when healthy. He is averaging just 10.0 points, 5.1 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 1.8 steals in the postseason. The Bulls could definitely use him in this crucial game, but it sounds like he will be out again.
News: The Chicago Tribune reports that Bulls point guard Kirk Hinrich is out for Game 6 against Brooklyn. This will be the second playoff game in a row Hinrich has to miss with a left calf injury.

News: Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich is being listed as a game-time decision for Game 5 of Chicago's first-round playoff series against the Nets due to a left calf injury, the Chicago Tribune reports. Hinrich sustained the injury during the Bulls triple-overtime win in Game 4 over Brooklyn. He logged 59 minutes in the 142-134 victory, but was seen limping back to the locker room. "He got banged up a little bit," coach Tom Thibodeau said Sunday. "I don't want to jump to any conclusions. We'll see where he is (Monday)."
Analysis: While Nate Robinson was a huge for the Bulls down the stretch, Hinrich was the team's unsung hero. Not only did he finish with 18 points, 14 assists, three steals and a block, but he also played the final 20 minutes of the win with five fouls. However, the veteran's production during the regular season was much more inconsistent. He averaged just 7.7 points and 5.2 assists on 37.7 percent shooting from the field -- the lowest shooting percentage of his career. While Hinrich is expected to be back in Chicago next season, he will be moved back into a reserve role, assuming Derrick Rose is healthy. He went 4 of 10 from the field and also added five assists, three rebounds and two steals to his stat line, while logging 35 minutes of game action.
Analysis: Hinrich had trouble staying healthy for most of the season as he was limited to just 60 games due to a variety of injuries. However, the veteran's production when he was on the court was nothing to write home about either as he averaged just 7.7 points and 5.2 assists on 37.7 percent shooting from the field -- his lowest career shooting percentage. While Hinrich is expected to be back in Chicago next season, he will be moved back into a reserve role, assuming Derrick Rose is healthy. Hinrich barely holds any Fantasy value when he starts, so we don't anticipate him being much of a factor in a backup role next year.
News: Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich was forced to leave Game 1 of Chicago's first-round playoff series against the Nets due to a bruised left thigh. Hinrich sustained the injury during the fourth quarter of the 106-89 defeat and was ruled out for the remainder of the contest. He finished with two points, two rebounds and two assists prior to leaving the game, but told the Chicago Tribune that he is confident he will be able to play in Game 2.

News: Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich played a big role Thursday against the Knicks, as the team was forced to go small often due to injuries. Hinrich played 50 minutes in the game, a 118-111 overtime win. Hinrich scored 11 points on 3 of 11 shooting in the game, while filling out the box score nicely. He added six rebounds, five assists, one steal and two blocks, with just one turnover. This was the first time since 2005 that Hinrich has played at least 50 minutes in a game.
Analysis: Hinrich has been limited to just 56 games this season, as he has been afflicted by a wide variety of injuries. When healthy, he has averaged 29.2 minutes per game, but is averaging just 7.3 points and 5.4 assists per game on 36.8 percent shooting. Hinrich is under contract for one more year after this one, but will likely be used solely as a backup with Derrick Rose healthy next season. He is unlikely to be worth drafting in most Fantasy formats next season.
News: Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich was ejected after receiving a pair of technical fouls in the fourth quarter of Tuesday's contest at Washington. Hinrich disputed a questionable call by the referees and was tossed. He finished with eight points, four assists, two rebounds on 3 of 8 shooting from the field before he was ejected. He also chipped in with two steals in 26 minutes of game action.
Analysis: Hinrich does not appeared to be limited by his foot issues, but had his night cut short after arguing with the official. He has played in the last seven games and is averaging 5.7 points and 4.7 assists per night, with only one game in double figures. His production may increase a bit down the stretch, but it should not make him any more than a low-end Fantasy option in most formats moving forward.
News: Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich returned from a seven-game absence Thursday against the Blazers, but he was clearly struggling to get into rhythm in 21 minutes. He shot just 1 of 7 from the field for two points, missing all four of his three-point attempts. Hinrich added three assists and a steal, and ceded many of his minutes to backup Nate Robinson coming off the bench.
Analysis: Hinrich had appeared in just four of his team's previous 21 games, so it was no surprise to see him struggling to get into rhythm. Hinrich should see a larger role moving forward, but his production leaves much to be desired even when healthy. Hinrich is averaging just 7.4 points and 5.4 assists per game on the season, and should be considered more of a low-end Fantasy option moving forward.

Analysis: Hinrich has missed 17 of the team's last 21 games due to a number of injuries, but has scored in douible figures in his last three games. Hinrich has not been great this season, but the Bulls' lack of depth puts him in line to play big minutes consistently. He remains more of a low-end Fantasy option in most formats, when healthy.
News: The Chicago Tribune reports that Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich was able to go through shootaround Thursday and could play Thursday night against Portland. Hinrich has been out since the beginning of March with a foot injury.

Analysis: Hinrich has finally started to make some slow progress toward a return, but he is still not quite ready yet. However, Fantasy owners should be used to not having the veteran available as he has now missed 17 of the team's last 21 games due to a variety of ailments. Still, Hinrich's production has been all over the place when he has been healthy, so consider the 32-year-old merely a low-end option in deeper formats whenever he returns.

Analysis: Hinrich has been unable to place any pressure on his foot and doesn't appear to be close to returning to action. His absence continues to provide additional playing time to Nate Robinson and keep the former Kansas standout under the injury prone label. Hinrich is averaging just 7.4 points on a career-low 38.5-percent shooting this season and is viewed as a low-end Fantasy option in deeper formats when healthy.
News: ESPN reports that Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich will not play Wednesday night at San Antonio. He remains in a walking boot, and the Chicago Tribune reports that he has swelling in his foot.

He appears doubtful for Wednesday at San Antonio. "I have a bunch of swelling in my foot," Hinrich said. "Just having trouble putting any sort of pressure on it. Really didn't give me a timetable as far as when to return. It's just a matter of the pain being better and the swelling going down."
Analysis: It sounds like Hinrich will sit against the Spurs, but keep an eye on his status prior to game time. When healthy and active, Hinrich is a low-end Fantasy guard in the majority of leagues.

Nate Robinson will start in his place. "He doesn't know" how the injury happened, coach Tom Thibodeau said. "He said he woke up and he had soreness in one of his toes." Hinrich is listed as day to day, according to the report.
Analysis: Hinrich, who just came back from an elbow injury in Week 18 (Feb. 25-March 3), has been plagued by injuries throughout the season, so this is not an encouraging sign for Fantasy owners heading into Week 19 (March 4-10). At this point, we are uncertain how long the 32-year-old will be out for, so we'll continue to keep an eye on his status moving forward. Fantasy owners may want to consider picking up Nate Robinson as a possible stop-gap option if Hinrich is out for a few games. That said, Hinrich should be left for deeper Fantasy formats, even when healthy.

Analysis: Hinrich bounced back in a big way Tuesday night as he filled up the stat sheet in his first game back from a lingering elbow injury. Hinrich scored five points on 2 of 7 shooting with a 3-pointer. He dished out 10 assists and added three steals.
Analysis: Hinrich might be the more steady presence as a ball handler for the Bulls and that is why they want him to start. We still think Robinson will see plenty of minutes. Hinrich was averaging 7.0 points, 5.2 assists and 1.1 3-pointers per game before getting injured. He goes back to being a decent Fantasy play in deeper formats as the starter.

Analysis: Hinrich's return to the floor will certainly affect how the Bulls use Nate Robinson going forward. Robinson has done a nice job so we're not clear yet who will get the majority of minutes. At this point, his status for that game is uncertain, so we'll have to keep an eye on his progress moving forward. Hinrich had a 25-point game last week, but has been largely a nonfactor as an offensive weapon this season. He averages just 7.0 points and 5.2 assists per game in 28.3 minutes. Consider him a low-end Fantasy option in all formats, when healthy.

He continues to start at point guard for Chicago with Derrick Rose rehabbing a knee injury. While he starts for Chicago, Hinrich's best contribution for Fantasy owners is his assist totals. He has low-end Fantasy appeal when healthy. If he sits out, then Nate Robinson will likely start in his absence.
News: Chicago guard Kirk Hinrich missed practice Tuesday with a slight elbow issue he initially suffered in Monday's win over Cleveland, ESPN.com reports. Hinrich cut his elbow during the third quarter against the Cavaliers and did not play the entire fourth quarter. He is considered day to day.
Analysis: Hinrich's issue was unlikely to keep him out of the lineup, but his absence from practice should provide some skepticism about his availability for Wednesday's game against Milwaukee. He finished with just six points Monday, the second time in his past three games played he managed single-digits in points. Hinrich should be viewed as a low-end option in deeper Fantasy formats as his shooting has been down this year.

Hinrich also posted three steals, two rebounds and a block while playing 32 minutes.
Analysis: Hinrich is keeping the starting point guard job for Chicago warm until Derrick Rose is ready to return from his knee injury. He should hold onto that job for at least another month or so but his production so far this season has been minimal. Until he picks up his scoring, leave Hinrich for deeper Fantasy formats.

He had missed two games earlier this month with a knee injury, but has averaged 6.8 points and 5.0 assists in the six games since his return. He has also received a slight boost in minutes and is worth an addition in deeper Fantasy formats while he's on a quality run.

Analysis: Hinrich continues to be inconsistent with his scoring but showed on Friday that he can still fill up the stat sheet from time to time. Analysis: Hinrich has been slowed by this injury of late but appears to be back to full health and should get back on track. Fantasy owners should view him as a quality option in Rotisserie formats, but expect his scoring to remain sporadic.

Fantasy owners should view him as a quality option in Rotisserie formats, but expect his scoring to remain sporadic.
News: Though he was able to take part in the team's shootaround before the game, Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau told reporters that guard Kirk Hinrich will not play Saturday night against the Nets as he continues to recover from a bruised left knee injury. He has now missed two consecutive games with the injury. Nate Robinson will start in his place.

He is listed as day to day, so we'll keep an eye on his progress moving forward. Hinrich has averaged just eight points and 5.4 assists per game over his last five contests, a slight improvement from his seasonal averages. Consider him a low-end option outside of deeper formats, when healthy.

He has low-end Fantasy value outside of deeper leagues when healthy.
News: Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich underwent an MRI Thursday after suffering a knee injury during Tuesday's game against the Clippers. Hinrich was scratched from Wednesday's game against the 76ers and is still listed as day to day.
Analysis: It seems as if Hinrich's knee began swelled up on while the team was travelling to Philadelphia for Wednesday's game, so they'll take a cautious approach with their point guard. In the meantime, Nate Robinson will take over in the starting lineup until Hinrich is back at 100 percent. The Bulls have yet to release his MRI results, so we'll continue to monitor his progress moving forward. Hinrich has averaged just 8.0 points and 5.4 assists per game over his last five contests and those are actually improvements on his season numbers. I measure by how he's running the team, how he's leading our defense."
Analysis: Hinrich has picked up his scoring of late and continues to do a decent job of filling up the stat sheet. He is averaging eight points with 5.4 assists and 1.6 rebounds in the previous five games while shooting a solid 63 percent from beyond the arc over that span. Hinrich is no longer the Fantasy option he once was so leave him for deeper formats at this point.

The veteran shooting guard is still looking to hit his stride from the floor and has connected on just 35.7 percent of his attempts, the lowest mark of his 10-year career. Hinrich is still helping with assists (5.6 helpers per game), and he is viewed as a low-end option in deeper Fantasy formats when healthy.

Analysis: Hinrich was seen with an ice pack wrapped around his elbow, so it does not appear that his injury may be too serious at this point. The Bulls don't play until Tuesday against the Clippers, so he'll have a few days to recover from his injury. We'll continue to monitor his status in the coming days. Hinrich does a decent job of filling up the stat sheet and is averaging 6.8 points, 5.8 assists and 2.4 rebounds per game this season. Consider him more of a low-end Fantasy option when healthy.

Hinrich also posted two steals, a block and a rebound while playing 35 minutes in the victory.
Analysis: Hinrich continues to start for the Bulls but that mainly has to do with his defensive prowess. Nate Robinson spells him off the bench to run the point and the 31-year-old is not counted on for a ton of scoring in Chicago. Hinrich does a decent job of filling up the stat sheet but remains more of a low-end Fantasy option at this point.
News: Bulls point guard Kirk Hinrich scored in double figures for the second straight game Monday night against the Bucks. Hinrich also chipped in with two rebounds, a steal and a block while playing 38 minutes in the defeat.
Analysis: Hinrich continues to see the majority of the playing time at point guard for Chicago and has picked up his scoring of late. He will need to keep his points up to fend off Nate Robinson but the 31-year-old is a solid defender, which goes a long way with coach Tom Thibodeau. Hinrich is no longer the Fantasy option he once was so leave him for deeper formats at this point.
News: Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich was able to suit up Wednesday against the Suns, after missing one game with a hamstring injury. He was able to play 27 minutes in the game, scoring just three points on 1 of 3 shooting, missing his lone three-point attempt and going 1 for 2 from the free-throw line. Hinrich added five rebounds and seven assists in the game, with two steals and four turnovers in a 112-106 overtime win. He split time with Nate Robinson at point guard for much of the game.
Analysis: Hinrich was clearly not at full strength, though that does not matter too much this season given his general offensive ineptitude. Hinrich is shooting just 32.6 percent from the field, while averaging just 5.3 points and 5.3 assists per game. Hinrich will likely begin to turn things around, but for now he is more of a low-end Fantasy option.
News: Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said guard Kirk Hinrich (hip) is not expected to play during Monday's game against Boston after missing the team's morning shootaround, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Hinrich suffered a strained right hamstring during the Bulls' win over the Timberwolves last Saturday and is considered day to day. Thibodeau said Nate Robinson would likely start in Hinrich's place if he's out.
Analysis: The only activity Hinrich underwent Monday was receiving treatment on his hamstring as Chicago has no reason to rush him back to the lineup until he's ready. The veteran shooting guard has started all six of the Bulls' games this season, but has surpassed 10 points only once as his shooting has been lackluster at the start (32.5 field-goal percentage). He should stay reserved in deeper Fantasy formats for Monday's game, but there is the possibility he returns during Chicago's other three games in Week 3 (Nov. 12-18).
News: Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau told reporters that guard Kirk Hinrich is listed as day to day after undergoing an MRI on Sunday. He was forced to leave Saturdays game against the Timberwolves in the second quarter, after suffering a right hip strain. Marquis Teague is likely to see some playing time if Hinrich is not ready to return against the Celtics on Monday.
Analysis: It seems as if Hinrich's injury won't keep him out that long, after suffering a minor scare Saturday night. We'll continue to monitor his status in the coming days as his status for Sunday is still up in the air. Hinrich is averaging just 6.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists while shooting 32.5 percent from the field. He is considered as a decent starting option in deeper Fantasy formats, when healthy.

His return was considered questionable, however the Bulls dipped into the bench for rookie Marquis Teague, indicating that Hinrich would be unable to return.
Analysis: Hinrich was 0 for 4 from the field with three assists in 11 minutes before exiting the game. He is averaging just 6.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists while shooting 32.5 percent from the field. Hinrich is worth starting only in deeper Fantasy formats, when healthy.

Hinrich was held in check and scored just two points in 1 of 8 shooting in a 89-82 defeat. He also chipped in with five steals, four assists and two rebounds while logging in 24 minutes as a starter.
Analysis: Hinrich is struggling to adjust to his new role in his second stint with the Bulls. He has shot poorly from the field, converting just 5 of 19 shots through his first three games. He has made it up somewhat by dishing out 17 assists over that three-game stretch. He endured the worst campaign of his career a year ago but should be able to increase his production all around with more minutes this season. Fantasy owners should keep the 31-year-old active in only deeper Fantasy formats moving forward.
News: After spending the last two seasons with the Wizards and Hawks, Kirk Hinrich made his first start for the Bulls in Wednesday's season opener against the Kings. He scored just three points on 1-of-7 shooting but dished out seven assists in the 93-87 win. He missed his lone attempt from downtown and went 1 for 3 from the charity stripe while playing 29 minutes as a starter. Hinrich, who dealt with a groin injury during the preseason, also chipped in with three rebounds in the victory.
Analysis: Hinrich played for Chicago from 2003-10 and was brought back to start at point guard while Derrick Rose recovers from his knee injury. He endured the worst campaign of his career a year ago but should be able to increase his production all around with more minutes this season. The fact that Hinrich plays defense should keep him on the court for coach Tom Thibodeau so keep the 31-year-old active in deeper Fantasy formats at this point.
News: Chicago point guard Kirk Hinrich (groin) was able to participate in all of Monday's practice despite nursing a strained right groin for most of the week, reports the Chicago Sun-Times. Hinrich is confident he'll be ready to play in the season opener Wednesday against Sacramento from United Center. "As of right now, as long as I don't have any setbacks tomorrow, I plan on playing," Hinrich said.
Analysis: Hinrich has rested the injury since suffering it and should be close to 100 percent when the lights come on Wednesday. "I'm probably a little bit smarter after I've had some injuries that have kept me out for extended periods of times," Hinrich said. He averaged just 6.6 points with 2.8 assists for Atlanta a year ago but should see those numbers grow in his first season back in Chicago. Hinrich does a decent job of filling up the stat sheet and shoots well enough from downtown to be considered a viable option in deeper Fantasy formats.
News: Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich missed the second half on Tuesday's preseason game against the Thunder due to a right groin strain. He scored eight points with three rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block in 15 minutes of action before the early exit.
Analysis: Hinrich is expected to be the starting point guard for the Bulls while Derrick Rose recovers from his injury and this groin issue should not keep him out for long. He averaged just 6.6 points with 2.8 assists for Atlanta a year ago but should see those numbers grow in his first season back in Chicago. Hinrich does a decent job of filling up the stat sheet and shoots well enough from downtown to be considered a viable option in deeper Fantasy formats on Draft Day.
News: Free-agent guard Kirk Hinrich has agreed in principle to a two-year contract with the Bulls that will pay him approximately $6 million, reports the Chicago Sun-Times. Hinrich spent his first seven seasons in the league with the Bulls before spending the last two with Washington and Atlanta.
Analysis: Hinrich will now head back to Chicago where he will help fill the void at point guard until Derrick Rose returns from a knee injury. The 31-year-old had some of his most productive seasons with the Bulls, including back in 2006-07 when he averaged a career-high 16.6 points while shooting just under 45 percent from the field. However, those days appear to be behind him now as he has seen his scoring average decrease in each of the last three seasons and posted a career-worst 6.6 ppg scoring average last year in Atlanta. While Hinrich can still light it up from time-to-time, he should be considered nothing more than a low-end option in deeper formats heading into the 2012-13 campaign.
News: Hawks guard Kirk Hinrich was able to register his fifth straight double-digit scoring performance during Tuesday night's contest against the Bucks. Hinrich finished with 10 points in the 108-101 loss, on 4 of 10 shooting from the field. He went 1 of 6 from downtown and also added four assists, two rebounds and one steal to his stat line, while logging 37 minutes of game action.
Analysis: Hinrich has been seeing significant minutes with the all the injuries the Hawks have been dealing with and has taken advantage of his extended playing time. The 31-year-old is averaging 11.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists over his last five contests and is shooting 43 percent from the field over that stretch. While those numbers are nothing to write home about, owners can continue to view Hinrich as a viable low-end guard option in deeper formats moving forward.
News: Hawks guard Kirk Hinrich finished with nine points during Monday night's contest against the Celtics. Hinrich made three of his seven shot attempts in the 76-76 loss and also added three assists, two rebounds and one block to his stat line, while logging 37 minutes of game action.
Analysis: Hinrich continues to start for the short-handed Hawks, but his production has been fairly spotty of late. He is averaging 10.8 points over his last five contests, despite only scoring in double figures in two of those contests. However, Hinrich continues to see 35-plus minutes per game, which continues to give him value in deeper formats.
News: Atlanta point guard Kirk Hinrich got the start on Tuesday against Denver. Hinrich finished with a season-high 22 points in the 118-117 loss, on 7 of 8 shooting from the field. He went 3 of 4 from downtown and also added four assists and one steal to his stat line, while logging 41 minutes of game action.
Analysis: Hinrich could be on the trading block and that could be the reason the Hawks are starting him even with Marvin Williams back. This could be a showcase situation. Hinrich remains only a worthy Fantasy option in the deepest of leagues unless his situation drastically improves.
News: Hawks guard Kirk Hinrich got the start on Friday night against the Bucks as Joe Johnson is still dealing with a sore knee. Hinrich scored seven points in his 24 minutes on the court, as he struggled with his shot. He went 3 for 8 from the field and hit just one 3-pointer. Hinrich added three boards and three assists, but would commit five costly turnovers. Atlanta would hold on for the 99-94 win.
Analysis: Once Johnson returns to the lineup, Hinrich will return to the bench. The former Kansas standout hasn't been doing much lately for the Hawks as he's averaging 5.0 points, 2.8 boards and 2.0 assists per game over his last five outings. He is coming offseason shoulder surgery, but the Hawks need him to step up. At this time, Hinrich doesn't hold much Fantasy value. If he is moved before the trade deadline, his stock could go up depending on where he lands. Fantasy owners in deeper leagues should keep tabs on this situation moving forward.
News: It took Hawks G Kirk Hinrich a while to get into shape for the season after offseason shoulder surgery, however the team is starting to lean on him more often, and he gave them 25 minutes in Wednesdays 101-99 win over the Suns. While he still struggled with his shot, making just 2 of 8 en route to a five point game, he did have three assists and no turnovers in the contest.
Analysis: Hinrich gives the Hawks steady, but unspectacular production from the point guard position, which balances out with the flashy Jeff Teague to give them a solid unit. Over his last five games, he is averaging 7.0 points and 2.6 assists per game, so hes not being asked to do much. At this point, Hinrich is more valuable to his own team than to Fantasy owners, who should continue to view him as just a low-end reserve option in deeper Fantasy formats.
News: Hawks G Kirk Hinrich has looked rusty in his seven games this season since returning from offseason shoulder surgery, and that trend continued on Monday night against the Suns. Hinrich, who played 20 minutes off the bench, was just 1 of 5 shooting from the field for four points in the game while adding two rebounds and two assists in a 99-90 loss to Phoenix.
Analysis: Hinrichs shooting percentage has fallen to 31.4 percent on the season, as he has clearly not looked to be in top form early on. He is averaging just four points and three assists per game, and should not be relied upon in any Fantasy format until he finds his shot.
News: Hawks G Kirk Hinrich missed the first 18 games of the season, but didnt show much rust in his first game back from offseason shoulder surgery on Wednesday. Playing just 17 minutes off the bench, Hinrich made 3 of 4 from the field, including a three-pointer, while grabbing a steal in the game. "It felt pretty good tonight. I'm happy," Hinrich said. "The last thing I wanted to happen was to come back and have some sort of setback, or wasn't able to just do the things I needed to do to contribute," Hinrich said. He finished with seven points as the Hawks lost 105-83 to the Spurs.
Analysis: With Jeff Teague running the show at point guard and doing a very good job, the 31-year-old Hinrich isn't expected to be a major scoring contributor. He could help in category-based Fantasy formats for his steals and quality field-goal percentage, and is a likely trade candidate with his expiring contract. But leave him out of active Fantasy lineups until he proves healthy and productive.
News: The Hawks announced that guard Kirk Hinrich, who has yet to play this season because of November shoulder surgery, will dress Wednesday against the Spurs. However, it's unknown if he will see game action.
Analysis: With Jeff Teague running the show at point guard and doing a very good job, the 31-year-old Hinrich isn't expected to be a major scoring contributor. He could help in category-based Fantasy formats for his steals and quality field-goal percentage. But leave him out of active Fantasy lineups until he proves healthy and productive.

Analysis: Hinrich has progressed quickly in his recovery and will likely return to the court at some point this week. The 31-year-old isn't expected to be a major scoring contributor, but he could help in category-based Fantasy formats for his steals and quality field-goal percentage. Hinrich, who will play off the bench once he returns, drained 44.2 percent of his attempts last year. Consider him a low-end option in deeper Fantasy formats.
News: Hawks G Kirk Hinrich, who has yet to play this season after undergoing shoulder surgery back in November, will travel with Atlanta on its upcoming five-game road trip, according to the team's official website. Hinrich was cleared to practice on Friday and is hoping to make his season debut sometime during the trip.
Analysis: Hinrich appears very close to making his season debut with the Hawks, but it wlikely won't happen until Fantasy Week 6 (Jan. 30- Feb. 5). Owners should keep an eye on his status moving forward to make sure he doesn't suffer a setback. Coach Larry Drew remains unsure of exactly what role Hinrich will play once he returns, so there is a chance he will come off the bench when he returns. Stay tuned.
News: Hawks G Kirk Hinrich was cleared to practice without contact Friday, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Hinrich is expected to be out another month after having shoulder surgery last November. "They are going to let me start doing all of the non-contact stuff with the team," Hinrich said. "A couple weeks from now, we will see how it goes from there. ... I need to get stronger before I get out there."
Analysis: Hawks coach Larry Drew said he was unsure of Hinrich's role once he returns, but he is unlikely to be relied on for much scoring production. "We will see how that goes with Kirk," Drew told the AJC. "We are certainly going to bring him along slowly. But as far as who is going to be the starter, I havent made a decision." Fantasy owners should monitor Hinrich's status while considered him a low-end option in deeper formats.
News: Hawks vice president Dominique Wilkins told reporters on Monday that G Kirk Hinrich is expected to be out at least another month due to a shoulder injury. Hinrich underwent shoulder surgery back in November.
Analysis: Hinrich will be sidelined at least another month, which doesn't bode well for the 11 percent of Fantasy owners who drafted the 30-year-old. Continue to monitor his status moving forward, but owners may want to think about dropping Hinrich until he is healthy enough to return. He should should still be on the waiver wire later in the season.
News: Hawks G Kirk Hinrich was ruled inactive for Tuesday night's opener against the Nets due to a shoulder injury. Hinrich, who underwent shoulder surgery back in November, is expected to be out until early January.
Analysis: Hinrich is still trying to work his back from shoulder surgery and will likely be sidelined until sometime in early January. Fantasy owners should keep an eye on his status moving forward to see when he will be able to get back on the court. Hinrich is expected to see time with Jeff Teague at point guard for Atlanta this year, but owners should wait until he proves to be healthy and productive before scooping him up.
News: Hawks G Kirk Hinrich had shoulder surgery a few weeks ago, according to a report by CBSSports.com's Ben Golliver. He is expected to be out until late December or early January.
Analysis: Hinrich was likely to split time with Jeff Teague at point guard in the upcoming season anyway, and this injury and the ensuing setback on his preparation for the season should give Teague the inside track to take over at point guard for the Hawks. A shoulder injury could really hurt Hinrich's shooting stroke, so this could be bad for Hinrich's Fantasy value, which was already limited. He's probably not worth a draft-pick, even in the late rounds. Wait until he shows he's healthy and has a role in the rotation before looking his way in Fantasy.
News: With the Hawks being ousted from the playoffs on Thursday night by the Bulls, guard Kirk Hinrich now has plenty of time to rest that injured hamstring. He did not play in the Eastern Conference semifinals as he was hurt in the closing minutes of a series-clinching win over Orlando. With him being sidelined, Jeff Teague was inserted into the starting lineup in Hinrich's place. Hinrich is under contract for next season, but will be playing for a new deal.
Analysis: Hinrich was traded from Washington to Atlanta prior to the trade deadline. He started 51 games on the year, but averaged the same about of points when he came off the bench. But once he joined the Hawks he went from being part of a rebuilding project to being on a playoff contender. That also came with plenty of talented players around him, giving him less chances to produce. Hinrich averaged 8.6 points and 3.3 assists in his 24 games after the All-Star break. Heading into next season, Hinrich should be able to give the Hawks quality minutes whether as a starter or off the bench. He has a good thing going in Atlanta, but that doesn't translate into a ton of Fantasy value. Owners should view him as a late-round option, but should keep an eye on Teague's progress during the offseason.
News: Hawks guard Kirk Hinrich said that his ailing right hamstring is finally starting to show some improvement, though he remains questionable to play moving forward. Still, he says he's only doing "very simple" exercises but feels his hamstring is getting better. When asked if he could possibly return in this series, he says, "I don't want to rule anything out." Hinrich is confident, but coach Larry Drew has lesser expectations, and said that he doesn't expect him to be able to play in the series against Chicago even if it stretches to seven games.
Analysis: Hinrich was hurt in the closing minutes of a series-clinching win over Orlando, and hasn't played since. He provides more value to the team than in Fantasy play because of his pestering defense and timely shot-making, but the Kansas product can still be considered a low-end guy. Hinrich has found a decent role in Atlanta, and it should remains the same heading into next season unless Jeff Teague becomes the unquestioned starter.
News: Hawks guard Kirk Hinrich did not play in Game 4 of Sunday's Eastern Conference semifinal against the Bulls as he continues to nurse a hamstring injury. Hinrich has yet to appear in a game this series after injuring his right hamstring during Atlanta's first round series-clinching victory against Orlando. He is listed as doubtful for the remainder of the series but will continue to be evaluated on a daily basis.
Analysis: Hinrich will keep rehabbing his injury and continue to be evaluated on a daily basis but as the days pass, his return it starting to look more and more unlikely. Still, stranger things have occurred before, which is why he shouldn't be counted out just yet. However, even if he does return at this point, it is hard to imagine the Hawks wanting to take away minutes from Jeff Teague, especially with the way he has defended Derrick Rose. Continue to monitor his status moving forward. A healthy Hinrich can be considered a low-end Fantasy guard in most formats heading into the 2011-12 season.
News: Hawks guard Kirk Hinrich was inactive for Game 3 on Friday night as Atlanta hosted Chicago. Coach Larry Drew has said he's not counting on Hinrich to play during the series as he continues to deal with a strained right hamstring. Hinrich suffered the injury while driving for a basket late in Atlanta's series-clinching victory against Orlando. The Bulls beat the Hawks, 99-82, to gain the 2-1 series edge.
Analysis: Hinrich won't be rushed back, but it's obvious they miss him on the defensive side of the ball. Atlanta would love to get him back so he can guard Derrick Rose, especially after he dropped a career-best 44 points on the Hawks on Friday. It doesn't seem likely that he will return during this postseason for Atlanta. If he's healthy heading into the 2011-12 season, owners should view Hinrich as a late-round selection on Draft Day this fall.
News: Atlanta guard Kirk Hinrich missed the second game of the Hawks series with the Bulls on Wednesday night. Hawks coach Larry Drew said he's not counting on Hinrich to play during the series as he continues to deal with a strained right hamstring. Hinrich suffered the injury while driving for a basket late in Atlanta's series-clinching victory against Orlando.
Analysis: While the Hawks hope Hinrich can return during this postseason, it doesn't seem likely. Fantasy owners have to hope this issue doesn't linger much longer. If he's healthy heading into the 2011-12 season, owners should view Hinrich as a late-round selection on Draft Day this fall.
News: The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Hawks coach Larry Drew said he's not counting on guard Kirk Hinrich playing in the Eastern Conference semifinals against Chicago. Hinrich, who missed Game 1 with a hamstring injury, said he's holding out hope, though he still hasn't been able to test the injury. You never know, he said before Game 1. Hinrich suffered the injury while driving for a basket late in Atlanta's series-clinching victory against Orlando on Thursday night. As soon as I went up I felt a pop, he said. It started swelling. I didnt know if it was the hamstring. Initially I was concerned it was my knee. Drew said he brought Hinrich along on the trip so he could help scout the Bulls. Hinrich played for Chicago from 2003-04 before he was traded to Washington last summer. If there is something along the course of the game that I think he can help him with, I will try to do that, Hinrich said. Right now, I will just leave him alone.
Analysis: We hope that Hinrich is able to play at some point against the Bulls, and hopefully he doesn't suffer a setback with his hamstring. Heading into 2011-12, Hinrich should be considered a No. 4 Fantasy guard, and he's worth drafting with a late-round selection.
News: As expected, Hawks guard Kirk Hinrich did not play in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Bulls on Monday night because of a hamstring injury. Hinrich is listed as doubtful for the entire series but said he might be able to return if the series gets extedned.
Analysis: Hinrich will keep rehabbing his injury and continue to be evaluated on a daily basis. However, it doesn't appear he will be getting back on the court anytime soon. Still, Fantasy owners should continue to monitor his status moving forward to make sure his injury will not carry over into next season. Heading into 2011-12, Hinrich should be considered a low-end Fantasy guard worthy of a late-round pick on Draft Day.
News: The Chicago Daily Herald reports that Hawks guard Kirk Hinrich will not play Monday night in Game 1 at Chicago in the Eastern Conference semifinals due to a hamstring injury. In his place, Atlanta coach Larry Drew announced plans to start second-year guard Jeff Teague. Teague played just nine minutes total in the Hawks first-round win over Orlando, but did score 20 points against the Bulls in the last regular-season meeting between these teams on March 22. Hinrich said Monday hes hoping to be able to play if the Bulls-Hawks series is extended.
Analysis: We hope that Hinrich is fine and able to play at some point against the Bulls, and hopefully he doesn't suffer a setback with his hamstring. Heading into 2011-12, Hinrich should be considered a No. 4 Fantasy guard, and he's worth drafting with a late-round selection.
News: Atlanta guard Kirk Hinrich's MRI on Friday revealed a significant strain to his right hamstring. Multiple reports are saying that Hinrich is doubtful for the Hawks' second-round series against the Bulls. He injured his hamstring in Game 6 of the first-round playoff series against Orlando. "This certainly changes things," Hawks coach Larry Drew said. "He's our starting point guard. Hopefully, he'll be able to go. But if he's not, we'll have to make an adjustment. We don't know what we'll do at that point."
Analysis: Despite reports of him moving better on Friday, Hinrich is a longshot to play in Game 1, let alone the series. When healthy, Hinrich is a low-end starting guard in most Fantasy formats. Owners will want to monitor this injury during the playoffs and offseason to see how he feels this fall. Heading into 2011-12, Hinrich should be targeted in the later rounds on Draft Day.
News: The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Friday that the Hawks have not indicated MRI results yet for Hawks guard Kirk Hinrich, who injured his hamstring in Game 6 of the first-round playoff series against Orlando. The report said the injury "didn't look good last night but word is he's moving better today." He is considered questionable for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals at Chicago.
Analysis: We hope that Hinrich is fine and able to play in Game 1 of the next round, and hopefully he doesn't suffer a setback with his hamstring. Heading into 2011-12, Hinrich should be considered a No. 4 Fantasy guard, and he's worth drafting with a late-round selection.
News: Hawks guard Kirk Hinrich came down hard after shooting over Dwight Howard in Thursday's Game 6 win over the Magic. He landed awkwardly on his right knee and struggled to get down the court before going to the ground. Hinrich was carried to the locker room, his arms draped around two Atlanta trainers so he didn't put any pressure on his leg. The Hawks said he had a strained hamstring and would undergo an MRI on Friday to determine to extent of the injury. He finished the game with 11 points on 4 of 7 shooting from the floor and he added three steals to go along with a pair of assists before leaving with the injury.
Analysis: Hinrich didn't look good when he went down, but maybe it's not as bad as it seems. Either way, the MRI Friday will reveal much more information about the severity of the injury. Fantasy owners should check back for updates then on the active guard. Hinrich will have a few days before Monday's Game 1 against the Bulls, the team he established himself with in the NBA. When healthy, he is a low-end option in most formats.
News: Hawks guard Kirk Hinrich was able to play through his thumb injury during Saturday's 98-87 win over the Nets. Hinrich, who sprained his thumb in Atlanta's previous game against the Sixers, finished with 11 points in the victory on 5 of 11 shooting from the field. He went 1 of 4 from downtown and added seven rebounds, four assists and a steal to his statline while logging 36 minutes.
Analysis: Hinrich showed no ill-effects from his thumb injury, so Fantasy owners can go ahead and consider him healthy heading into Fantasy Week 23 (March 28-April 3). The Hawks are slated for three games during the upcoming scoring period against the Magic, Celtics and Rockets. Hinrich has continued to start at point guard for Atlanta and is averaging 9.4 points and 5.2 assists over his last five contests. Consider the veteran a low-end Fantasy option moving forward.
News: Hawks guard Kirk Hinrich remained in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Nets, despite having a sprained thumb. Hinrich sustained the injury in Wednesday's contest against the Sixers.
Analysis: Since Hinrich was able to finish the game against the Sixers he should be fine against the Nets. Keep an eye on how he fares during the game, but Hinrich is worth using as a starter in deeper leagues when healthy.
News: The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Hawks guard Kirk Hinrich suffered a sprained right thumb Wednesday at Philadelphia. He still managed to play 38 minutes and finish with 16 points, eight assists and two rebounds.
Analysis: Since Hinrich was able to finish the game against the Sixers he should be fine for Friday's game against the Nets. Keep an eye on his status heading into the game, but Hinrich is worth using as a starter in deeper leagues when healthy.
News: Hawks guard Kirk Hinrich struggled in Tuesday's 114-81 loss to the Bulls. Hinrich failed to score in the contest, missing on all three of his field goal attempts. He logged 28 minutes in the defeat and his only contribution to the stat sheet was five assists and two turnovers. Hinrich is averaging 7.0 points and 3.8 assists over his last five contests.
Analysis: Hinrich earned another start on Tuesday night, but based on the way he played it might have been his last. Coach Larry Drew continues to flop both Hinrich and Teague in and out of the starting lineup, with neither having much success. Hinrich has proved in the past he can be a productive Fantasy option when give ample minutes. However, he has really struggled during his brief stint with the Hawks. Fantasy owners may want to look at other options while the veteran is not playing well.
News: The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports that Hawks guard Kirk Hinrich will remain the starter at point guard Tuesday against Chicago. It appears like the Jeff Teague experiment is over. On Sunday against the Pistons, Hinrich had 15 points, six assists and four rebounds in 36 minutes. He had totaled just 20 points over his previous four games.
Analysis: The Hawks need Hinrich to play at this level for the rest of the season, and hopefully he can finish strong back at his natural spot. We consider Hinrich a quality Fantasy option when healthy, and he is worth using in the majority of leagues for the rest of the year if he continues to produce like this.
News: Hawks G Kirk Hinrich was back in double figures in the box score on Sunday against the Pistons, scoring 15 points in 36 minutes. He added six assists and four rebounds. Hinrich had totaled just 20 points over his previous four games.
Analysis: The Hawks tightened up their rotation, using only eight players in the game. Jeff Teague, who had been cutting into Hinrich's playing time some of late, was not used at all. Fantasy owners could consider Hinrich a bit of a sleeper again off the waiver wire, especially with the Hawks in line for four games in Fantasy Week 22 (March 21-27), but the Hawks rotation remains anything but settled.
News: Hawks newly-acquired guard Kirk Hinrich made his first start with the team in Wednesday's win over the Bulls, his first pro team. He didn't have a huge impact, though he played far more than any of his previous two games with the Hawks, seeing 31 minutes of action. Hinrich scored three points on 1 of 5 shooting, while providing assists on two baskets on the offensive end. He chipped in defensively with a pair of rebounds and a steal on the night.
Analysis: Hinrich hasn't played much with his teammates previously, just 16 minutes in two games combined. So it comes as no surprise that he's still figuring things out with his new club. Hinrich is going to experience some growing pains in Atlanta, but we expect him to figure them out sooner than later. It should take a few more games, but the fact that he has already supplanted Jeff Teague -- who saw just seven minutes -- as the starter is a good sign for Fantasy owners. Hinrich should be considered a low-end Fantasy option once he gets a few more game under his belt with Atlanta.
News: The Hawks announced that Kirk Hinrich will enter the starting lineup at point guard with Jeff Teague moving to the bench, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Hinrich came off the bench in the team's first two games and missed Monday's game with a sore calf. He was able to go through the team's morning shootaround without issue.
Analysis: Hinrich was given time to adjust to the system in Atlanta before being asked to start, according to coach Larry Drew. The team feels that he is now ready and Fantasy owners could receive an immediate payoff. He is a capable distributor and a decent scorer who might be asked to take a few more shots than normal while Josh Smith deals with a knee injury. Hinrich is a viable play in deeper leagues already, but monitor his first couple of starts in Atlanta to truly gauge his value.
News: Atlanta PG Kirk Hinrich missed Monday's game against the Nuggets due to a sore right calf muscle, reports the Atlanta Journal Constitution. Hinrich has played in two games for the Hawks since coming over from Washington. He has scored eight points in each game played for Atlanta.
Analysis: Hinrich played 29 minutes on Sunday after seeing 17 minutes in his debut for his new team. He's 3 for 6 from 3-point range thus far and has seven rebounds and four assists in two games. Hinrich has come off the bench behind Jeff Teague, but could end up starting before long. Fantasy owners should wait another week to see exactly what the plans are for the former Kansas Jayhawk, but we expect a solid contribution on a nightly basis sooner rather than later. Utilize Hinrich as a low-end option in the meantime, when healthy.
News: Though he didn't play much, newly-acquired Atlanta guard Kirk Hinrich impacted Friday's win over the Warriors as soon as he could. He made a 3-pointer in the second quarter less than five seconds after checking into his first game for the Hawks. Hinrich finished the night with eight points on 3 of 6 shooting from the floor. He assisted on three baskets and pulled down three rebounds in 17 minutes of playing time off of the bench. Before the game, he was focused on utilizing the team's strengths. Its important that I understand what we are trying to do at both ends," Hinrich told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "But a lot of times our lineups and our athleticism, I think the best way for us to play is to just play. Work hard on the defensive end and try to run.
Analysis: Hinrich has to be one of the happier players to get traded, going from the lowly Wizards to the playoff-bound Hawks. He backed up the speedy Jeff Teague on the night, but still saw respectable minutes as a reserve. His minutes should increase over the next few games, though it's unclear at this point whether of not he will eventually start for Atlanta. Either way, the team will utilize Hinrich for his leadership, defense, and solid outside shooting ability. He has some athletic weapons at his disposal when he plays point guard, so his assist numbers should be steady as well. Fantasy owners should wait another week to see exactly what the plans are for the former Kansas Jayhawk, but we expect a solid contribution on a nightly basis sooner rather than later. Utilize Hinrich as a low-end option in the meantime.
News: Atlanta guard Kirk Hinrich, who was traded to the Hawks on Wednesday from Washington as part of the Mike Bibby deal, is expected to make his debut with his new team Friday at Golden State. But Hinrich is not expected to start against the Warriors. Jeff Teague is listed as the starting point guard, according to the team.
Analysis: Hinrich will eventually move into the starting spot for the Hawks, and he should see an increase in Fantasy value following the trade to Atlanta. If Hinrich is available in your leagues add him now because he should play better in Atlanta as a starter then he did in Washington as a reserve behind rookie John Wall. Hinrich was averaging 11.1 points and 4.4 assists per game this year with the Wizards.
News: Washington traded point guard Kirk Hinrich to Atlanta on Wednesday. Hinrich, who missed Wednesday's game at Philadelphia due to a calf injury and likely also because of the impending trade, goes to Atlanta along with Hilton Armstrong for Mike Bibby, Maurice Evans, Jordan Crawford and a first-round draft pick. "All the intangible you are looking for he brings to the table," coach Larry Drew told the Atlanta Journal Constitution. "He's real tough. He's real heady. He's the kind of player that every coach likes. He plays hard. He can really defend and make shots. It will be a perfect fit for us."
Analysis: The former Wizards guard has missed the last two games with a calf issue but should be able to take the court for Atlanta shortly. Hinrich was averaging 11.1 points and 4.4 assists per game this year with the Wizards. His assists could go up now that he's passing to better players, and he could be the Hawks' new starting point guard in place of Bibby. It will be between him and Jeff Teague, who started at point on Wednesday. Hinrich's Fantasy value will pretty much stay the same with the Hawks. He can be active in most deeper Fantasy leagues.
News: Washington guard Kirk Hinrich did not play in Wednesday's contest in Philadelphia. This was the second straight game he's missed with a bruised calf. He was injured on Feb. 13 in a game versus the Cavaliers. Coach Flip Saunders said the results show it's "just a bruise" and will be considered day to day. Multiple reports are saying that the Wizards are in talks with the Hawks in a deal that would send Hinrich to Atlanta. Washington would receive Jordan Crawford in return, but no deal has yet to be made.
Analysis: Hinrich has been a nice mentor to rookie John Wall, but Hinrich's time in Washington may be coming to an end. The veteran guard has been brought up in multiple trade scenarios this week. If he is traded, his value would change depending on where he lands. Right now Hinrich should be viewed as a low-end guard option in deeper Fantasy leagues, when healthy. Continue to monitor this situation.
News: Washington guard Kirk Hinrich missed Tuesday's game against Indiana with a calf injury. He was injured on Feb. 13 in a game versus the Cavaliers. He did not practice on Monday and had an MRI done on Tuesday. Coach Flip Saunders said the results show it's "just a bruise" and is being considered day to day.
Analysis: Hinrich has been mentioned in trade rumors, which is something Fantasy owners should keep an eye on. He's averaging 10.8 points and 3.3 assists over his last nine appearances, playing around 25 minutes per game. Owners shouldn't expect a lot out of the veteran guard and can be considered a low-end stopgap in most standard Fantasy leagues, when healthy.
News: The Wizards announced following Tuesday's shootaround that G Kirk Hinrich (calf) had been ruled out for that night's game against Indiana. Hinrich did not participate in practice on Monday after he was kicked in the calf against the Cavaliers on Feb. 13.
Analysis: Hinrich is averaging 10.8 points and 3.3 assists over his nine appearances, playing around 25 minutes per game. Fantasy owners should expect little more than that from him, making him merely a low-end stopgap play in most standard formats even when healthy.
News:The Washington Post reports that Kirk Hinrich did not participate in practice n Monday after he was kicked in the calf against the Cavaliers on Feb. 13. Hinrich's status for Tuesday's game against Indiana, according to Coach Flip Saunders, "at best is probably 50-50."
Analysis: Hinrich is averaging 10.8 points and 3.3 assists over his nine appearances, playing around 25 minutes per game. Fantasy owners should expect little more than that from him, making him merely a low-end stopgap play in most standard formats even when healthy.
News: A night after getting the start and scoring just six points, Wizards G Kirk Hinrich came off the bench for Sunday's game against the Cavaliers and had a productive outing. He dropped 17 points and dished out five assists in the 115-100 win. He went 8 for 13 from the field, including 1 for 3 from downtown while playing 29 minutes. Hinrich also chipped in with two rebounds, two blocked shots and a steal in the victory, Washington's first on the road this season.
Analysis: Hinrich bounced back from his poor showing on Saturday and has now scored in double figures four of his last five games. He is averaging 12.6 points with 4.2 rebounds and one steal over that span while seeing just under 27 minutes per contest. The veteran guard has fared well since returning from an elbow injury on Jan. 29 and is producing across the board. Whether he is starting or coming off the bench, Fantasy owners should continue to view Hinrich as a viable option in deeper leagues.
News: Washington guard Kirk Hinrich was in the starting lineup and scored just six points in the Wizards' 118-94 loss to San Antonio on Saturday night. Hinrich, who took the place of injured forward Al Thornton, drained just 3 of 10 from the field and missed his lone attempt from 3-point range. He logged 31 minutes, but still managed his lowest scoring output in the last five games. Hinrich added three assists and a rebound as Washington lost for the ninth time in its last 10 games.
Analysis: Hinrich's presence provided the Wizards three guards in the starting lineup, but they were still over-matched against the NBA's best team. The veteran guard has fared well since returning from an elbow injury on Jan. 29 and posted 12.5 points in his last four games prior to Saturday -- more than a point more than his season average (11.1 ppg). It's unclear if he will remain in the starting lineup, but Fantasy owners should view him as a viable option in deeper formats.
News: Washington guard Kirk Hinrich played 20 minutes in the Wizards' runaway victory over the Bucks on Wednesday night. The former Kansas standout guard shot just 4 for 11 from the field but made his only 3-point attempt to score 10 points. He added four assists, two steals and a block in the performance for the winning Wizards.
Analysis: Hinrich has scored in double figures in four straight games and is adding to that between 4-5 assists and around three rebounds per contest as well. With a steal and a 3-pointer per game, Hinrich is certainly a viable Fantasy option in deeper formats when playing at least 20 minutes per game.
News: Washington guard Kirk Hinrich played 35 minutes off the bench on Tuesday night in a loss to the New Orleans Hornets. The Wizards needed Hinrich as only two starters scored in double figures -- Nick Young (30) and Andray Blatche (21). Hinrich was the third and only other Wizards player in double figures with 10 points. He shot 3 for 7 from the field and hit 1 of 3 from 3-point range. Hinrich added three steals and one assist and turned the ball over three times.
Analysis: Hinrich had missed some time due to an elbow injury and has returned for the last three games. After playing just 19 and 16 minutes, respectively, in the first two, the Wizards let him loose again on Tuesday. Still, behind John Wall and Nick Young, Washington doesn't need too many shots from Hinrich. He's really only a low-end Fantasy option at this point.
News: Washington guard Kirk Hinrich returned to his usual reserve role in Saturday's loss to the Grizzlies after missing four games with a strained right elbow. He played 19 minutes and scored nine points on 3 of 9 shooting, including 1 of 3 from beyond the arc. Hinrich assisted on three baskets and pulled down two rebounds in the limited playing time.
Analysis: Hinrich showed no visual limitations from the elbow issue, but his goggles bothered him on one possession. Although his minutes were low, the game was out of hand for most of the second half and coach Flip Saunders likely wanted to ease him back into the swing of things anyway. Hinrich should be just fine moving forward, so consider him to be a low-end Fantasy option as usual. The former Kansas Jayhawk averages 11.1 points and 4.6 assists per game this season
News: Washington guard Kirk Hinrich is expected to return to the lineup for the Wizards' game against Memphis on Saturday night, according to the Washington Post. Hinrich has missed the last four games while dealing with a strained right elbow. He took part in Washington's pregame warmups on Friday, but did not enter the game.
Analysis: The report indicated Hinrich will be healthy enough to return Saturday but it's uncertain how much playing time he will receive. He doesn't make for a dynamic Fantasy option anyway and is averaging 11.1 points and 4.6 assists per game this season. When healthy, Hinrich, who continues to serve as John Wall's backup, should be considered only in deeper leagues.
News: Despite taking part in pregame warmups on Friday, Washington guard Kirk Hinrich didn't make it into the game against Oklahoma City. He has now missed four games with a strained right elbow. He's still being considered day-to-day.
Analysis: The Wizards could have used Hinrich on Friday as they lost 124-117 in double overtime. The veteran guard has been mentoring rookie John Wall this season, but unfortunately he can't help out Fantasy owners that way -- unless of course you are a Wall owner. Hinrich is averaging 11.1 points, 4.6 assists and 2.9 boards per contest this season. When healthy, Hinrich is worth using in deeper category-based Fantasy leagues. Owners should continue to monitor him through the weekend.
News: Washington guard Kirk Hinrich has missed the last three games with a sprained right elbow. He took part in the pregame warmups and said he felt good.
Analysis: Hinrich has been a good mentor to rookie John Wall this season. Before he got hurt, Hinrich was playing around 25 minutes a game. On the year, the veteran guard is averaging 11.1 points, 4.6 assists and 2.9 boards per contest. While his numbers aren't great, Hinrich is still worth owning in deeper category-based Fantasy leagues. Owners should monitor his production before reinserting him into those lineups.
News: The Washington Post reports that Wizards PG Kirk Hinrich practiced Thursday and is listed as day-to-day with a sprained elbow that has caused him to miss three straight games. Washington plays at Oklahoma City on Friday.
Analysis: Before getting hurt, Hinrich wasn't seeing more than 25 minutes with John Wall healthy and has since seen his Fantasy value take a hit. Owners should continue to monitor his status moving forward, however, with his decreased minutes, Hinrich will only have value in deeper formats when he gets healthy.
News: Wizards guard Kirk Hinrich missed Tuesday night's contest against the Nuggets as he continues to deal with a sprained right elbow. Hinrich, who has now missed three straight games with his injury, is scheduled to have an MRI on his elbow.
Analysis: Hinrich was originally scheduled to have an MRI on Tuesday, but had not as of tipoff. The Wizards' point guard had not been getting more than 25 minutes of late with John Wall healthy and has since seen his Fantasy value take a hit. Owners should continue to monitor his status moving forward, however, with his decreased minutes, Hinrich will only have value in deeper formats when he gets healthy.
News: Washington PG Kirk Hinrich remained out for the Wizards on Monday night in New York. Hinrich has a sprained right elbow and is going to undergo an MRI exam on Tuesday to help the Wizards determine a course of action for the injury, reports the Washington Post. He is expected to miss a few games.
Analysis: The Wizards' point guard had not been getting more than 25 minutes of late with John Wall healthy. Hinrich should only really be starting in the deeper Fantasy formats, when healthy, now that Wall's back.
News: Washington guard Kirk Hinrich (elbow) missed the Wizards' game against Boston on Saturday night and could be sidelined for an extended period of time. Hinrich, who hyperextended his right elbow in the fourth quarter of Friday's loss to Phoenix, will have an MRI in the next few days. Washington coach Flip Saunders said the team will wait a day or two for the swelling to decrease before Hinrich has the procedure, making it unlikely the veteran will play Monday at New York. "We're more concerned about ligaments in the elbow," he said, "because of how it was hyperextended." Hinrich played only 13 minutes before leaving Friday's game and scored eight points but committed two turnovers.
Analysis: Washington does not seem hopeful that Hinrich's injury will require a short stint on the bench and called up Mustafa Shakur from the NBA Developmental League. Hinrich is mainly playing in a reserve role this season and averaging 32.1 minutes per game. Fantasy owners in deeper weekly leagues should monitor his situation closely heading into next week and perhaps stash him on their bench. Owners in daily leagues should find other Fantasy options.
News: Washington guard Kirk Hinrich left Friday's game against Phoenix with an apparent arm injury. Hinrich went to the locker room with the team trainer and doctor after not being able to lift his arm. Hinrich finished with eight points in 13 minutes before departing. He added two assists but committed two turnovers and has turned the ball over multiple times in four of his last six games.
Analysis: Hinrich's injury sounds like it has the potential to sideline him for awhile. He finished 3 of 5 from the field, including 2 of 3 from 3-point range, to post single digits for the fourth consecutive game. He is receiving an average of 32.1 minutes per game but that could certainly take a hit if the injury is serious. Fantasy owners in deeper weekly leagues should monitor his situation closely heading into next week. Owners in daily leagues should continue to consider him a low-end option.
News: For the second time in three games Thursday night, Wizards G Kirk Hinrich put in 18 points against the Timberwolves. He shot 6 of 16 from the field, including 2 of 4 from beyond the arc. He chipped in elsewhere, assisting on five baskets while managing two steals and three rebounds on the defensive end. Hinrich logged 33 minutes off of the bench.
Analysis: The former Kansas Jayhawk is averaging nearly 15 points per game in January, up from his season average of just over 11 a night. He has also been passing the ball well all season. Hinrich continues to play a good amount of minutes for Washington, despite his role off of the bench. With four games on the schedule for Week 13 (Jan. 16-23), getting him in Fantasy lineups could be a solid move. In daily leagues, consider him to remain a low-end option.
News: Wizards G Kirk Hinrich had another solid performance on Saturday night against the Bobcats. Playing 32 minutes off the bench, he scored 18 points and dished out five assists in the 104-89 loss. He went 7 of 14 from the floor, including 3 for 4 from downtown, and made his lone free throw attempt. Hinrich also chipped in with two rebounds, two steals and a blocked shot in the defeat. Since returning from injury, the 29-year-old is averaging 13.7 points with 3.7 assists and 2.3 rebounds.
Analysis: Hinrich continues to see solid playing time for the Wizards and has definitely benefited from the deal that shipped away Gilbert Arenas. While he does not start every night, he is averaging 11.4 points on the year, which is his highest mark since 2007-08. Rookie phenom John Wall and Nick Young steal stats from Hinrich from time to time but the seventh-year player usually finds a way to contribute on a nightly basis. With Sacramento, Minnesota and Toronto on the schedule for Week 12 (Jan. 10-16), continue to view Hinrich as a low-end option in most Fantasy leagues.
News: After missing two games with a thigh injury, Washington guard Kirk Hinrich returned to the lineup on Wednesday night against the 76ers. He played 26 minutes off the bench and shot 5 for 11 from the field and scoring 13 points. He missed his lone 3-pointer and converted all three of his foul shots. Hinrich would add three rebounds, four assists and one steal. He also wore goggles in the game after being poked in the eye.
Analysis: Hinrich was able to take the court on Wednesday, which is great for the Wizards. They've dealt with injuries across all positions and Hinrich is the mentor to rookie John Wall. Now that he's back and seems healthy, Fantasy owners should view Hinrich as a low-end starting guard in most formats.
News: For a second straight day Tuesday, Wizards PG Kirk Hinrich (thigh) was able to participate in practice. Hinrich has missed two straight games with the injury.
Analysis: All signs point to Hinrich being able to return to action on Wednesday, but many Fantasy owners benched him for Week 11 because of the uncertainty about his return from this injury. Hinrich has a couple of big weeks under his belt this season, and ranks as a No. 4 Fantasy guard. Continue to use him in the majority of leagues, when healthy.
News: Wizards G Kirk Hinrich (thigh) was able to practice on Monday, according to The Washington Post. He said he felt encouraged by his continued progress. He remains questionable for Wednesday's game in Philadelphia.
Analysis: Hinrich also wore a pair of athletic glasses that he said were for protective purposes, not corrective. Hinrich said he had an eye exam and was told he should wear the glasses and that they had nothing to do with the black eye he picked up against the Chicago Bulls on Dec. 22. The Wizards plays three games in Week 11 (Jan. 3-9), making Hinrich a real injury risk in weekly formats. Start him at your own peril.
News: Washington guard Kirk Hinrich missed his second game of the season on Saturday as he continues to deal with a thigh injury. He left Wednesday's game after just 12 minutes of action. He's being considered day to day.
Analysis: The Wizards don't play for a few days, so hopefully that is enough time for Hinrich to heal up. He is the mentor to rookie John Wall, who has said he's learned a lot from Hinrich. Hinrich is averaging 14.2 points, 3.6 boards and 5.6 assists per outing over his last five games. When healthy, Hinrich is worth using in most Fantasy formats. The Wizards plays three games in Week 11 (Jan. 3-9), so unless good news pops up soon, Hinrich would be a risky start in most Fantasy leagues.
News: According to Washington's official website, guard Kirk Hinrich missed his first game of the season on Friday as he continues to deal with a thigh injury. He was the only Wizards player to play in all 30 games up to Friday's contest. He left Wednesday's game with a left thigh contusion after just 12 minutes of action.
Analysis: Hinrich should see plenty of action in Washington with Gilbert Arenas now in Orlando. With rookie John Wall playing alongside of him, Hinrich should be able to excel. He's averaging 14.2 points, 3.6 boards and 5.6 assists per outing over his last five games. When healthy, Hinrich is worth using in most Fantasy formats. Monitor him through the weekend to see how serious this injury is.
News: Washington guard Kirk Hinrich played just 12 minutes on Wednesday against Indiana. A left thigh contusion kept him sidelined for most of the game. Hinrich missed both shots he took in the game and dished out just one assist. He's the only Wizards player to play all 30 games. Hinrich is being considered day to day.
Analysis: Hinrich has been starting for the Wizards with John Wall coming back from injury and the trade of Gilbert Arenas. Over his last five games, including Wednesday's contest, Hinrich is averaging 14.2 points, 3.6 boards and 5.6 assists per outing. The Wizards need Hinrich to produce and stay healthy. The veteran guard is worth using in the majority of Fantasy leagues, but should be monitored through the weekend.
News: Washington PG Kirk Hinrich needed just four rebounds heading into the fourth quarter on Monday night in a blowout win over the Bobcats to record his first career triple-double. He fell four rebounds short, however, and had to settle for just 18 points and 11 assists for the double-double with six boards. He shot 7 of 14 from the field with John Wall out and Gilbert Arenas playing for the Magic. He added two steals.
Analysis: The Wizards needed scoring and assists from somewhere and Hinrich happily obliged on Monday night. As the main point guard for the Wizards, Hinrich has a double-double in two straight games and is averaging 12 points and seven assists with five rebounds over his last five. Imagine how well his numbers would look if he wasn't 1 for 12 from 3-point range over that span. The way he's being used at the moment, and for as long as Wall is out, Hinrich is worth having in most Fantasy leagues.
News: Washington guard Kirk Hinrich was in the starting lineup again Saturday and finished with 13 points and 12 assists in the Wizards' 95-94 loss to Miami. Hinrich earned his third start in a row while rookie John Wall continues to nurse a sore knee. It was his second double-double of the season and duplicated the same line (12 points, 13 assists) from the first occasion against Toronto on Nov. 16. He played the entire 48 minutes but appeared tired late in the fourth quarter as he has never topped 42 minutes in a game this season.
Analysis: Hinrich was forced into more minutes with Wall, the starting point guard sidelined again, and after Washington traded Gilbert Arenas to Orlando earlier in the day. Hinrich had a woeful shooting night, attempting a season-high 16 shots but missing 12 to finish just 25 percent from the field. He also missed all four 3-point attempts and is now 0 for 7 in his last three games from beyond the arc. He managed, however, to get other players involved in the offense with 12 assists -- matching the total from his previous three games combined. With Wall only day-to-day, Hinrich should only be used in deeper Fantasy leagues as his contributions are marginal.
News: The Washington Post reports that Wizards G John Wall (knee) was ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Lakers. Kirk Hinrich was listed as a starter in his place.
Analysis: With Wall out and Gilbert Arenas banged up, Hinrich is a sleeper for a quick boost in numbers. He is averaging 11.0 points, 4.8 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 20 starts this season and is a decent stopgap measure and handcuff option for Wall owners in daily-lineup leagues.
News: Washington guard Kirk Hinrich was supposed to come off the bench on Wednesday in Sacramento with John Wall and Gilbert Arenas starting. Instead, Wall was a late scratch and that left Hinrich the starter once again. He responded by scoring 18 points on 6 of 9 shooting with a 3-pointer over 37 minutes on the floor as Washington was also without Andray Blatche. Hinrich added five rebounds, three assists and four steals in the performance.
Analysis: Hinrich had combined to score five points in his previous two games with less playing time. Still, we expect he will eventually make his way to the bench behind Wall and Arenas. Hinrich has upside, but is not currently in a situation to be produce for Fantasy owners. This is a fluid situation, however, and his coming off the bench is not set in stone.
News: Wizards G Kirk Hinrich was moved to the bench for Tuesday's game against the Lakers, with Gilbert Arenas starting alongside John Wall for just the second time all season. Hinrich played 21 minutes off the bench and finished with three points.
Analysis: Hinrich has totaled just five points over his last two games while seeing a combined 41 minutes. He has attempted just seven shots in those games with five total assists. Hinrich has upside, but is not currently in a situation to be produce for Fantasy owners. This is a fluid situation, however, and his coming off the bench is not set in stone.
News: Wizards guard Kirk Hinrich scoring struggles continued in Tuesday's 115-108 loss to the Lakers. Hinrich scored just three points in the defeat on 1of 4 shooting from the field. His only bucket came on a 3-point attempt and he finished with three assists and two rebounds in 21 minutes off the bench.
Analysis: Hinrich has been struggling to score of late, scoring just a combined five points over his last two contests. His minutes have taken a big hit since John Wall was inserted back into the starting lineup and his numbers have suffered as a result. Hinrich should only be active in deeper formats right now.
News: Washington guard Kirk Hinrich, who started alongside Gilbert Arenas and Alonzo Gee with John Wall coming off the bench, scored 15 points on Wednesday during a loss to Toronto. Hinrich shot 7 of 12 from the field over 32 minutes and added five assists and a steal.
Analysis: Hinrich was in double figures for the first time in his last five games on Wednesday night with Wall coming off the bench. He had 17 3-pointers in 16 games entering Wednesday but only has two 3-pointers in his last five. With his scoring seeing a dip, Hinrich should only be active in deeper formats right now.
News: Washington guard Kirk Hinrich struggled on Monday night against the Heat. With John Wall and Al Thornton still out of action, Hinrich remained in the starting lineup. He shot 2 for 7 from the field and went 1 for 2 from the foul line. He missed his lone 3-pointer, finishing with just five points. He added three rebounds, three assists and two steals in his 36 minutes of court time. This marked his third straight game where he registered less than 10 points.
Analysis: Hinrich is averaging 7.0 points and 4.3 assists over his last three games. With Wall expected to be back for the Wizards next game, Hinrich may stay in the starting lineup. Coach Flip Saunders started three guards on Thanksgiving and may continue that trend moving forward. He's normally a good source of 3-pointers, which gives him Fantasy value. Keep an eye on his role, but Hinrich should remain a player worth using in deeper category-based Fantasy leagues.
News: Washington coach Flip Saunders started three guards on Thanksgiving, but only one had a good game. Kirk Hinrich was not that guard as he shot 4 fro 7 from the field -- missing both his 3-point attempts. He would finish with eight points, an assist and a rebound in his 25 minutes of action. He got the start as Al Thornton was not able to play.
Analysis: Hinrich has been logging heavy minutes lately, but his outing on Thursday was his lowest total of the year. Don't expect Hinrich to get many starts at forward once Thornton is healthy. Hinrich can score and dish out assists, but there are just so many shots that can be taken in one backcourt. His Fantasy appeal lies in deeper category-based formats.
News: Wizards G Kirk Hinrich had seven points with six assists and a rebound in 35 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's overtime win over the Sixers. He has averaged seven assists over his last five games.
Analysis: Hinrich remained steady on the assist front, but his scoring took an expected hit with John Wall back in the mix after his four-game absence. Hinrich has some appeal as a stopgap in deeper formats -- especially in category play, for what he offers in dimes. However, Fantasy owners should expect him to be an inconsistent scorer in a sixth man role behind both Wall and Gilbert Arenas while both are healthy.
News: With rookie phenom John Wall (foot) missing his third straight game on Friday night, Wizards G Kirk Hinrich had another solid performance. He scored a season-high 22 points and had six assists while playing 41 minutes in the 89-86 win over the Grizzlies. Hinrich went 6 for 12 from the field, including 1 for 5 from downtown, and made all nine of his free-throw attempts. He also had two rebounds and two steals in the victory. Hinrich is averaging 15 points with 7.7 rebounds in Wall's absence.
Analysis: Hinrich has made the most of his opportunity with Wall out and posted his second 20-point game of the year on Friday night. He has shown in the past that he can supply decent scoring with a good number of assists, but he probably won't maintain these numbers once Wall returns. Fantasy owners should continue to ride the hot hand with Hinrich but continue to view the 29-year-old as a low-end start in most formats heading into Week 5 (Nov. 22-28).
News: Washington guard Kirk Hinrich recorded a double-double on Tuesday night in a win over Toronto without the services of John Wall, who missed the game with injury. Hinrich shot 5 for 8 from the field and went 1 for 2 from 3-point range to score 13 points. He added 12 assists in the contest and also grabbed four rebounds.
Analysis: Wall might miss the team's next game in Boston as well and that would possibly mean another stats boost for Hinrich. He's averaging 13.2 points per game over his last five, but the assists have been lower with Wall having the ball in his hands on most occasions. Under normal circumstances, Hinrich is still worthy of Fantasy use in deeper leagues. With Wall out, that increases.
News: Washington guard Kirk Hinrich made his first egular-season appearance in the United Center since he was traded to Washington in June. Hinrich got a round of applause when he stepped on the floor about 90 minutes before the game, and more cheers when the Wizards' starting lineup was introduced. The Bulls paid tribute to Hinrich during a timeout in the first quarter, showing a montage of his career highlights on the overhead videoboard. But the former Kansas star finished with just eight points. He took just four shots, making three of them in his 37 minutes of action. He added four rebounds, a block, a steal and six assists.
Analysis: Hinrich, the seventh overall pick in the 2003 draft, spent seven seasons in Chicago, averaging 13.4 points while setting the franchise record with 812 3-pointers. The Bulls traded him away to get more salary-cap space. Hinrich had scored in double figures in three straight games before returning to Chicago, so he has shown he's still a viable Fantasy option. Owners should continue to view him as a low-end start in most formats heading into Week 4 (Nov. 15-21), especially with the Wizards playing four games in the scoring period.
News: Wizards G Kirk Hinrich has his most productive game of the year on Saturday night against the Cavilers. He played 37 minutes, scoring 21 points on 7 of 14 shooting in the 107-102 loss. Hinrich, who got the start, went 3 for 9 from beyond the arc and made all four of his free-throw attempts. He also had five rebounds, four assists and a steal in the defeat.
Analysis: Hinrich has seen serious minutes in his first year with the Wizards but Friday's scoring total matched his production from nearly the previous three games combined. Even with Gilbert Arenas back from injury, the 29-year-old played 33-plus minutes, which he has in all five games this season. He can be pretty productive on some nights, but he can also disappear on others. Continue to view Hinrich as a low-end starter in most Fantasy leagues heading into Week 3.
News: Wizards team captain Kirk Hinrich played 42 minutes as Washington defeated the 76ers in overtime on Tuesday. Hinrich played well as he shot 3 for 5 from the field and 1 for 2 from long range to score eight points. He added nine assists and four rebounds.
Analysis: Hinrich is getting 38.7 minutes per game and is taking full advantage of Gilbert Arenas being out to start the year. That said, he's still only dropping 9.3 points per game with 5.0 assists. He's been helpful with his 3-point shooting as he's gone 6 of 13 from long range. Still, his minutes might go away once Arenas returns. For now, continue using him as a low-end starter in most Fantasy leagues.
News: Washington guard Kirk Hinrich hit back-to-back 3-pointers in the second quarter on Thursday night, in an attempt to get the Wizards back into the game with the Magic. It forced Orlando to take a timeout, but that was about hit. The veteran guard got to the start with Gilbert Arenas out of action. Hinrich went 4 for 9 from the field -- 3 for 6 from behind the arc -- and also hit his lone foul shot. He finished with 12 points and two assists.
Analysis: Hinrich is still a great shooter and is getting some added playing time with Arenas out. The Wizards have said they might play both veterans with rookie guard John Wall at times this season. While his value in standard 12-team Fantasy leagues is more of a low-end starter and bench player. In Rotisserie formats, however, Hinrich remains a valuable source of points, 3-pointers and free-throw percentage.
News: Washington PG Kirk Hinrich played 28 minutes on Tuesday during a preseason loss to Detroit. Hinrich, who has been named a captain for the Wizards, scored a team-high-tying 17 points on 6 of 11 shooting. He hit four 3-pointers in six attempts and added four rebounds, two assists and three steals.
Analysis: Hinrich had his best game of the preseason on Tuesday and he's been impressive with his ability to rebound and hit threes. He is going to have to fight for playing time with Gilbert Arenas and John Wall on Washington, but it seems the Wizards have taken a liking to Hinrich and he could play more than most believe. Hinrich could see more meaningful minutes, making him a viable Fantasy starter again. Consider him a late-round draft choice.
News: Wizards guard Kirk Hinrich hit both of his free throw attempts on Thursday against the Cavaliers. He shot 3 for 7 from the field for a total of eight points. The veteran guard also dished out four assists.
Analysis: Hinrich starts his first year in Washington as a bridge and plug for the Wizards. With the team having Gilbert Arenas back and drafting John Wall with the first pick in the NBA draft this year, Hinrich role on the team will likely be off the bench. However, if Arenas gets injured or Wall is ineffective, Hinrich could see more meaningful minutes, making him a viable Fantasy starter again. Consider him a late-round draft choice this year.
News: The Bulls confirmed the draft day trade that sent Kirk Hinrich and his $9 million salary along with the rights to No. 17 pick Kevin Seraphin to Washington on Thursday. They received the rights to 2006 second-rounder Vladimir Veremeenko in return.
Analysis: This move was purely financial for the Bulls, who were looking to free up cap space for the free agent period. Hinrich will head into a tenuous situation in Washington, with a roster that currently includes high-profile point guards Gilbert Arenas and John Wall -- the first pick in the NBA draft. Hinrich has been able to produce from a sixth-man role before and could do so in Washington, but his value will be more of a low-end starter or reserve it would appear.
News: ESPN reports that the Bulls and Wizards have agreed to a deal that will send Kirk Hinrich to Washington in exchange for the the 17th pick in the NBA draft -- Kevin Seraphin, a 6-foot-9 forward. Chicago will also get a future second-round pick.
Analysis: This move was purely financial for the Bulls, who are looking to free up cap space for the free agent period.
News: The Chicago Tribune reports Bulls forward Luol Deng and guard Kirk Hinrich could be on the move this summer in sign-and-trade deals. The Bulls' dream scenario is to engineer a sign-and-trade for one premier free agent, preserving at least the $16.57 million needed to start a maximum contract for a second premier free agent. The team will have $20 million to $22 million of salary cap space when free agency begins July 1. Outside shooting and interior scoring are the team's biggest needs. "I've been part of rumors for years," Hinrich said.
Analysis: A change of scenery would help Hinrich's Fantasy value since if he returns to the Bulls in 2010-11 he would again be a secondary option behind Derrick Rose. Hinrich averaged 10.9 points, 4.5 assists and 3.5 rebounds last year. His two years with Rose have been the lowest stats of his career, and he has minimal Fantasy value if he stays with the Bulls. Keep an eye on his offseason, and hope that he goes somewhere new to improve his value.
News: Bulls G Kirk Hinrich contributed 27 points to help Chicago defeat Cleveland on Thursday. Hinrich shot 9 of 12 from the field while hitting four 3's. He also added five assists, five rebounds and a steal in 39 minutes. It was first game in double figures in the playoffs.
Analysis: Hinrich was up and down with his scoring for much the year. However, he did show the ability to pull in quality rebounds for a guard. He finished the year averaging just under 11 points with 4.5 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game. While his numbers will normally never be pretty, Hinrich can consistently contribute in many offensive categories. Look for him to be a low-end No. 3 or a high-end No. 4 Fantasy guard next year.
News: Bulls G Kirk Hinrich put up 23 points in a win over the Cavaliers on Thursday. Hinrich shot 8 of 12 from the floor while adding three 3's, two rebounds and two assists in 37 minutes. He has scored 20 or more points in two of his last three contests.
Analysis: Hinrich is averaging 13.2 points and 2.8 assists over his last five contests. While his scoring has been slightly inconsistent, Hinrich will probably continue to make contributions with his points as the Bulls vie for playoff position. Although the rebounding and assist numbers have seen a decrease as well, Hinrich is more than capable of filling out the stat sheet. Consider him a No. 3 Fantasy guard for the remainder of the season.
News: Bulls G Kirk Hinrich put up a season-high 24 points in a win over the Bobcats on Saturday. Hinrich shot 9 of 12 from the field while adding six boards, three assists and two steals in 39 minutes. He has now scored in double figures in three of his last five contests.
Analysis: Hinrich has shown some inconsistency over his last five games, averaging 9.6 points and four assists. However, Hinrich is more than capable of scoring in double digits on a nightly basis while filling out his stat sheet in other areas. The Bulls play six games during Fantasy Week 24 (April 5-14) and Hinrich can be used as a No. 3 Fantasy guard.
News: Bulls G Kirk Hinrich played with a sprained ankle on Friday against the Wizards and scored 10 points in 33 minutes. Hinrich shot 3 of 9 from the floor while adding two 3-pointers, two rebounds and five assists.
Analysis: Hinrich is averaging 6.4 points and 4.2 assists over his last five games. However, the scoring might be skewed because Hinrich played only 17 minutes Tuesday night. Since it appears that he is healthy, Hinrich is able to contribute in various ways on the stat sheet and makes for a solid No. 3 guard in most formats.
News: Bulls G Kirk Hinrich (ankle) was able to participate in Friday's shootaround, according to the Chicago Tribune. He is likely to be limited in Friday night's game against the Wizards, however.
Analysis: Hinrich was in a walking boot Wednesday, but with the Bulls playing for a playoff spot he'll give it a go. How much he can play and how much of an impact he can make remains a question mark. For that reason, we suggest going with healthier alternatives in Fantasy.
News: The Chicago Tribune reports Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich was in a walking boot Wednesday because of his sprained left ankle, but he said that he expects to play Friday in Washington. "I'm pretty encouraged I'll be able to go," Hinrich said. "The swelling's not bad." Hinrich suffered the injury when he stepped on Joakim Noah's foot late in the second quarter of Tuesday's loss to the Suns. He tested the injury at halftime but skipped the entire second half.
Analysis: This is good news since coach Vinny Del Negro said Tuesday that Hinrich's ankle "must be bad if he didn't go" in the second half. Keep an eye on Hinrich between now and Friday, but he should be considered a No. 3 Fantasy guard when healthy.
News: The Chicago Tribune reports Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich, who injured his left ankle Tuesday night against Phoenix, will be questionable for Friday's game at Washington. The paper speculates the injury could be serious. "It must be bad if he didn't go because he usually battles through that stuff," coach Vinny Del Negro said. Hinrich rolled his ankle after stepping on Joakim Noah's foot. He went to the locker room with 3 minutes, 47 seconds left in the second quarter and didn't return to the game. Hinrich finished with no points and four assists against the Suns.
Analysis: It sounds like Hinrich might not be able to play against the Wizards, but hopefully the days off between games can help his health. Keep an eye on his recovery, and he should be considered a No. 3 Fantasy guard when active.

Analysis: Hinrich's scoring and rebounding have been down this month (9.4 points and 3.0 boards), but his assists up (5.1). Combined, he's a viable Fantasy option in only the deepest of leagues. However, no owner wants to deal with injuries at this time of year. Check his status before placing Hinrich in the lineup of daily formats.

Analysis: Hinrich had been averaging 11 points in his last five contests to go along with five assists, 3.2 boards and 2.2 steals over his last five games. With the Bulls playing four games during Fantasy Week 21 (March 15-21), Hinrich figures to play in three of those contests and can still be used as a low-end starter in deeper leagues.
News: Chicago guard Kirk Hinrich was ejected with 4:43 left in the fourth quarter of the Bulls' game at Miami on Friday night after drawing two technical fouls. The sequence started with Heat guard Dwyane Wade driving the lane and a flagrant foul being called on the Bulls' Brad Miller. Hinrich drew one technical for complaining about that call, and moments later, drew another one. He appeared to make contact with referees Tom Washington and Bennie Adams after the second technical was called, and Bulls coach Vinny Del Negro quickly moved onto the court to try and intervene. Hinrich then left the court. He finished with 10 points, six assists and three steals.

News: According to the Chicago Sun-Times, there is a viable rumor that Chicago could trade G Kirk Hinrich for Celtics G Ray Allen. The Celtics would move Allen -- who is making $19.8 million in the final year of his contract -- if they can acquire a player who can crack their rotation this season and someone they'd be interested in keeping around for the next couple of years. Hinrich would appear to meet those requirements, but the Bulls might have to sweeten the deal by adding forward Tyrus Thomas, who despite his obvious issues would help Boston's frontcourt depth.
Analysis: Hinrich could fill in a nice role for the Celtics. He is averaging 11.2 points per game over his last five games to go along with 5.8 rebounds and 5.2 assists. His ability to score in double figures and add decent statistics in other categories make him a solid Fantasy option in deeper leagues.

Analysis: Hinrich has scored in double figures in his last three games for the Bulls. He is not putting up mind-blowing numbers, but he is putting together a solid enough season in many statistical categories to make him worth of being a starter in deeper Fantasy leagues.
News: Bulls PG Kirk Hinrich returned from the flu on Wednesday at the Clippers. Hinrich started and scored nine points with five assists and a steal. Hinrich shot 3 of 14 and lowered his field goal percentage to .383, the lowest on the team among players who have taken at least 100 shots. He also went 0 of 7 from three-point range.
Analysis: Hinrich was clearly not at 100 percent healthy for this game but should return to full strength shortly. Keep him active in daily leagues and consider him a quality Fantasy option when healthy.
News: The Chicago Tribune reports Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich returned Tuesday after missing one game because of the flu and participated in practice. He is expected to play in Wednesday's game at the Clippers. "I feel a lot better," Hinrich said. "I couldn't keep anything down and had the sweats and chills. I got an IV Monday before the game, but I was exhausted. I had no energy and was sleeping on and off in the training room while watching the game. But I'm ready to go Wednesday."
Analysis: Hinrich was out for Monday's game at Golden State, but it appears like he will play against the Clippers. Keep him active in daily leagues and consider him a quality Fantasy option when healthy.
News: Bulls PG Kirk Hinrich (flu) could not play on Monday at Golden State. Hinrich is day to day and questionable for Wednesday at the Clippers.
Analysis: Hinrich has been playing well since returning to the starting lineup and can be used in most deeper leagues, when healthy. Reserve him in all daily leagues until he gets back in action.
News: According to the Chicago Tribune, Kirk Hinrich missed Sunday's practice due to the flu. He is expected to travel with the team to Oakland for Monday's afternoon game at the Warriors.
Analysis: Hinrich has been playing well since returning to the starting lineup, but this news should make Fantasy owners at least a little tentative when considering him as an option for Week 13 (Jan. 18-24). The Bulls are slated for four games, but Hinrich could easily miss Monday's game with the short turnaround. He's worth a gamble in larger leagues, but start him at your own peril.
News: Chicago PG Kirk Hinrich recorded a new season high of 20 points on Saturday against Minnesota. Hinrich shot 8 for 15 from the field as he started for the eighth straight game. He hit four threes and added four rebounds and seven dimes.
Analysis: Hinrich is averaging 14.0 points, 5.8 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game over his last five games as a starter and that comes with at least two threes per night and 1.6 steals. Starting, Hinrich looks like a great Fantasy option once again. The Bulls play an unfavorable three-game schedule Week 12 (Jan. 11-17) but Hinrich is a nice play in at least all deeper leagues.
News: Bulls PG Kirk Hinrich totaled 15 points, seven assists and three rebounds in 42 minutes on Monday against the Thunder. He turned the ball over just once for the fifth straight game. Hinrich has scored in double figures in six of his last eight games.
Analysis: Even though Hinrich is starting for the Bulls and logging nearly 30 minutes per game, his scoring is still under 10.0 points per game. His career has really declined the last three seasons and so has his Fantasy value. Hinrich remains a low-end Fantasy start.
News: Bulls G Kirk Hinrich had 3 points, 6 assists and 6 rebounds in Thursday's game at Detroit. He played 30 minutes as the team's starting shooting guard. He shot just 1 for 6 from the field and picked up 5 fouls in the game.
Analysis: Hinrich had been playing well in recent games since replacing John Salmons in the starting lineup. This poor performance shouldn't scare you completely away, however, as he has been turning in some well-rounded lines lately with good assist and rebound numbers.
News: Bulls G Kirk Hinrich had a decent all-around performance in 38 minutes off the bench Thursday against the Knicks, finishing with nine points, five assists and four rebounds. He has scored in double figures only three times in his last 16 games.
Analysis: Hinrich gets enough assists and steals to have some low-end appeal in categorical leagues, but he has limited upside in his current role. You can leave him on waivers in most Fantasy leagues.
News: Chicago PG Kirk Hinrich returned to action from a thumb injury on Wednesday in a loss to Atlanta but his shot still looked sickly as he played with the thumb heavily wrapped. Hinrich finished 0 for 9 from the field over 22 minutes and did not score in the game. He did have three assists and two rebounds. He finished the game on the bench with ice on his thumb.
Analysis: Fantasy owners don't need to rush to activate him. He's been held under double figures most of the season and his current role doesn't lead to much production. He's at best a stopgap guard in deeper leagues right now. Monitor his progress and hope he shoots better going forward.
News: According to The Chicago Tribune, Bulls G Kirk Hinrich (thumb) is warming up in pre-game shootarounds and is expected to play after missing his last six games.
Analysis: Fantasy owners don't need to rush to activate him. He's been held under double figures most of the season and his current role doesn't lead to much production. He's at best a stopgap guard in deeper leagues right now. Monitor his progress.
News: According to the Chicago Bulls' official website, Kirk Hinrich will be a game-time decision for Wednesday's game at Atlanta. He had previously been expected to through Wednesday's action due to his sprained left thumb.
Analysis: Hinrich could be back sooner than expected, but Fantasy owners don't need to rush to activate him. He's been held under double figures most of the season and his current role doesn't lead to much production. He's at best a stopgap guard in deeper leagues right now.
News: The Chicago Sun-Times reports the Bulls do not expect guard Kirk Hinrich to play in the next two games. Hinrich's sprained left thumb hasn't healed enough to allow him to play, and he's out Tuesday against the New Jersey Nets and Wednesday against the Atlanta Hawks. "Not until the end of the week or something like that," coach Vinny Del Negro said when asked about Hinrich's possible return. "But that's a day-to-day thing. Depending on how he feels, we'll make adjustments."
Analysis: Keep Hinrich reserved in all leagues and hope he can return soon. When healthy, Hinrich is a low-end No. 2 Fantasy guard in all leagues.
News: The Chicago Tribune reports that Kirk Hinrich will not play over the weekend and has been ruled out until at least Dec. 8 vs. New Jersey due to his lingering thumb injury. Bulls coach Vinny Del Negro had expressed minor optimism Kirk Hinrich could return from his sprained left thumb Saturday night against Toronto, but Hinrich told reporters otherwise. "He probably said that because I was optimistic," Hinrich said. "I've been shooting and stuff every day. But I still can't handle the ball. Plus, if it gets hit, I'd be set back."
Analysis: The Bulls play four games in five nights beginning next Tuesday. Hinrich said one of those games is a more realistic return date. Fantasy owners should consider him too risky to play for the upcoming scoring period. He has not been very productive this season even while healthy.
News: The Bulls' official media notes for Friday's game in Cleveland list Kirk Hinrich as questionable, however, Hinrich ruled him out at shootaround, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Analysis: The Bulls likely did not want him to return on the front end of a back-to-back set. It appears Saturday's game is a possibility. Fantasy owners should view him as a player to reserve until he can prove both healthy and productive again.
News: According to the Bulls' official team website, Bulls G Kirk Hinrich is expected to miss 1-2 weeks due to his sprained left thumb. He was examined Monday morning by Bulls head team physician Dr. Brian Cole and hand specialists Dr. John Fernandez and Dr. Marc Cohen of Midwest Orthopedics at Rush University. Their examination confirmed the earlier diagnosis of a left thumb sprain.
Analysis: Hinrich has been getting around 25 minutes per game, but hasn't been doing much statistically. He rarely scores in double figures anymore and his assist totals aren't enough to carry the rest of his weak stats. Keep him out of your active lineups until further notice.
News: The Chicago Tribune reports that Kirk Hinrich sat out Thursday's Sunday's practice. He said that his sprained left thumb would have to "improve significantly" in order to play Monday in Milwaukee.
Analysis: Hinrich will be a big injury risk in Fantasy for Week 6 (Nov. 30-Dec. 5). The Bulls are slated for four games, which does help his chances. Still, Fantasy owners should play it cautious with Hinrich, who is more of a replacement option these days anyway.
News: The Chicago Tribune reports that Bulls G Kirk Hinrich has sprained his left thumb and did not play on Thursday against the Jazz. Hinrich sprained the thumb during practice on Wednesday.
Analysis: Hinrich had failed to reach double digits in scoring in each of his previous four games before going down with the thumb injury. This ailment shouldn't keep him down long, but Fantasy owners should see if word comes down that he'll play Monday at Milwaukee before getting him active for Fantasy Week 6 (Nov. 30-Dec. 6). When healthy, Hinrich is a decent low-end Fantasy option.
News: Bulls G Kirk Hinrich shot for a low percentage on Saturday in a win over the Bobcats. He went 3 for 10 from the field, adding seven assists and four rebounds. Hinrich was 2 for 4 from downtown, turning the ball over four times in 33 minutes of action.
Analysis: Hinrich has failed to reach double digits in scoring in each of his last four games, averaging just 7.8 points per game over his last five contests. He is 16 for 47 from the field during that span as well. Consider him a No. 4 Fantasy option at best at this point in the season.
News: Bulls G Kirk Hinrich was able to play through an elbow injury on Thursday and scored 14 points in the team's opening game against the Spurs. Hinrich went 5 for 11 from the field in the game, playing 30 minutes off the bench. He added six rebounds and two assists to his stat line.
Analysis: Hinrich was listed as probable heading into the game, so it's not surprising to see him active and productive against the Spurs. Hinrich should be considered a No. 4 Fantasy option at this point in the season.
News: The Bulls held out guards Kirk Hinrich (left elbow) and Jannero Pargo (lower back) of Friday's preseason finale against the Washington Wizards. Both players are considered day to day.
Analysis: Neither player is expeced to miss the team's regular season opener Thursday against San Antonio. The Bulls are slated for three games in Week 1. Consider Hinrich an option as a No. 4 guard in standard formats. Pargo will not play enough to be considered useful in Fantasy.
News: Bulls G Kirk Hinrich, getting another start at point guard Monday against the Magic with Derrick Rose nursing an ankle injury, had 18 points on 8 of 12 shooting, including 2 of 4 from 3-point range, in 25 minutes. He also had four rebounds, three assists and three steals.
Analysis: The addition of Rose practically ruined Hinrich as a Fantasy option last season. He finished with career lows in points (9.9), rebounds (2.4) and assists (3.9). He could bounce back a bit this year, though, with Ben Gordon now in Detroit. Target him late if you need a few threes, steals and assists.
News: Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich had 25 points, three rebounds and two assists Tuesday against the Knicks. He played 34 minutes off the bench. Hinrich has three games with at least 20 points in his past seven outings.
Analysis: Hinrich is closing the season strong after a poor start. He has adjusted to his role off the bench and fit in well with the Bulls going to a smaller rotation. For now, consider Hinrich a No. 3 Fantasy guard to finish the year.
News: Bulls PG Kirk Hinrich was able to play on Saturday against the Nets despite sitting out of Thursday's practice with a sprained left ankle. Hinrich came off the bench for 24 minutes Saturday and scored seven points on 3-of-8 shooting. He added five assists and three rebounds.
Analysis: Hinrich scored 20 points with seven dimes and seven boards in his previous game before getting hurt. Still, he had two single-digit performances before that. He's not really injured, he's just inconsistent right now for the Bulls. Hinrich is a No. 4 Fantasy guard in deep formats.
News: The Chicago Sun-Times reports Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich (sprained left ankle) will play Saturday against New Jersey. Hinrich, who played on his hobbled ankle for most of the 107-105 loss at Indiana on Tuesday, missed practice Thursday.
Analysis: It appears safe to keep Hinrich active in all leagues at this time. When healthy, Hinrich is a No. 4 Fantasy guard in deep formats.
News: The Chicago Tribune reports that Kirk Hinrich sat out Thursday's practice with a sprained left ankle. He is considered day to day.
Analysis: At this point, the injury does not sound to serious. The report added that Hinrich is "nursing" a sprained ankle. Fantasy owners had a 20-7-7 in his last game, but should be used only as a No. 4 guard due to erratic production off the bench.
News: Chicago PG Kirk Hinrich got the start on Tuesday at Indiana alongside Derrick Rose. Hinrich played 39 minutes and was 8-of-13 from the field with two threes for a total of 20 points. He added seven dimes and seven rebounds with two steals.
Analysis: Hinrich played extremely well on Tuesday and is averaging 15 points, five assists, four rebounds and two steals per game over his last five contests and that comes with two threes per night. He'll have some up and down games, he'll start and come off the bench, but he remains a decent option in all 12-team and deeper leagues.
News: The Chicago Tribune reports Bulls coach Vinny Del Negro said following Friday's practice that guard Derrick Rose would return to the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Pacers. Rose came off the bench Thursday against the Heat. "His wrist wasn't worse; it was better," Del Negro said. "Derrick will start. Last night, I didn't start him because I wasn't sure how his wrist was going to be. I didn't want to throw him out there and then have to take him out and throw the rotations off." Kirk Hinrich will return to the bench.
Analysis: Hinrich should still be a useful No. 4 Fantasy guard even with the move back to the bench. The Bulls are using a short rotation, and Hinrich will get enough minutes to help your Fantasy team down the stretch.
News: Chicago guard Kirk Hinrich had 15 points, three assists and two rebounds Thursday against Miami. He started the game even with Derrick Rose returning from the wrist injury. Rose entered the game to a familiar chorus of cheers with 4:49 left in the first quarter, yet it was an odd sight considering he started the first 71 games and had no limitations on his minutes. So why did he come off the bench? One reason coach Vinny Del Negro gave was there was still some pain in his wrist, which he injured on a dunk attempt Monday night at Washington. Another was the Bulls played well the following night in a 99-91 win over Detroit, with Hinrich contributing 24 points and eight assists.
Analysis: It's unknown if Hinrich will continue to start, but hopefully these past two games will give him confidence to finish the season strong. For now, consider Hinrich a No. 3 Fantasy guard.
News: Just in case anyone forgot, Kirk Hinrich showed he's not a bad point guard, either. Hinrich scored 24 points filling in for injured phenom Derrick Rose, and the Chicago Bulls beat Detroit 99-91 Tuesday night to pull within a game of the seventh-place Pistons in the Eastern Conference. "By no means is Kirk a backup point guard," Chicago's John Salmons said. "But we've got the best backup point guard in the league." This hasn't been an easy season for Hinrich, but he was at his best on a night when his team needed it. With Rose sidelined, the veteran delivered a performance that brought back memories of his first five years, when he was the starter and the Bulls made three straight playoffs. Of course, everything changed after last season's free fall. Hinrich lost his job when the Bulls drafted Rose with the No. 1 pick, then sustained a thumb injury early on that knocked him out for 30 games.
Analysis: If Rose continues to miss time with the injured wrist, then Hinrich would be a great addition in all leagues. He has the potential to play like this when given the time. For now, continue to monitor what happens with Rose, but it's not a bad idea to take a flier on Hinrich.
News: Chicago PG Kirk Hinrich was one of only seven players to hit the floor against the Heat on Monday despite Hinrich having a bruised right quadriceps. He scored eight points in the game and added three assists.
Analysis: Hinrich is not a very useful Fantasy player this season due to the emergence of Derrick Rose and the fact that he has had some injury woes. He is still worth using in deeper formats but can be a much more productive player in the future in the right situation.
News: The Chicago Sun-Times reports Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich didn't practice Sunday because of a bruised right quadriceps but said he would play Monday night when the Bulls begin a three-game road trip at Miami. Hinrich played only five minutes of the second half Friday in a 117-102 victory over Milwaukee after taking a knee from Richard Jefferson. He had an ice wrap on his thigh Sunday.
Analysis: Hinrich has had limited Fantasy value this season due to injuries and the emergence of rookie guard Derrick Rose. Still, Hinrich is worth using in deep formats as long as he's healthy, and it appears like he will play against the Heat. For now, keep him active as a No. 4 Fantasy guard since he plans to play.
News: Bulls G Kirk Hinrich suffered a bruise inside his knee, coach Vinny Del Negro said after Friday's game against the Bucks. He is questionable for Monday's game against the Heat.
Analysis: Hinrich played 20 minutes in Friday's game, scoring 11 points and adding four rebounds and two assists. That's about all that can be expected from Hinrich who is having an off season. He has the potential to be a high-end option, but he is only a stopgap at best at the moment. The injury likley won't keep him out of Monday's game at Miami.
News: Bulls G Kirk Hinrich had a below average game against the Rockets in a 105-102 win on Saturday. He went 3-of-9 from the field and scored seven points in 21 minutes of action.
Analysis: Hinrich coming off the bench isn't doing his Fantasy owners much good. He only has one double-digit scoring performance in his last five games and is now only a stopgap option at best. He does have high-end potential if he gets put in the right situation.
News: Bulls G Kirk Hinrich had three points and four assists in 23 minutes off the bench Sunday in Indiana. He is averaging 11.2 points and 4.8 assists over his last five games.
Analysis: Hinrich's backup role does not provide him the ability to contribute consistent totals. His ability is still high enough to where he could become a solid starter in Fantasy again, but he should be viewed as no more than an occasional stopgap right now.
News:Kirk Hinrich scored a season-high 31 points, including three straight baskets during a critical stretch in the fourth quarter to help the suddenly short-handed Chicago Bulls beat the Milwaukee Bucks 113-104 on Wednesday night. Hinrich finished 8-of-14 from the field with five threes and was 10-for-10 from the line. He added two assists and four steals.
Analysis: If Hinrich could sustain this level of play he'd be a must-start at all times. Sadly, he's only averaging 12 points, four dimes and two steals per game over his last five. That's really only worth using in deeper leagues. Plus, the Bulls are getting John Salmons to throw in the mix of playing time. Hinrich certainly proved he's worth still getting playing time on Wednesday, however.
News: Chicago G Kirk Hinrich continues to put up average numbers for the Bulls, scoring eight points against the Heat on Thursday. He is averaging 8.9 points per game on the season and 8.2 over his last five games.
Analysis: Hinrich is going to give you the same thing night in and night out. He is playing around 30 minutes a night but doesn't take that many shots and hands out around five assists per game. He is maybe a No. 4 or 5 guard in most leagues but not much more.
News: Bulls G Kirk Hinrich missed all seven of his shot attempts in Sunday's game in Minnesota. He finished the game with only one point, snapping a string of three straight games with at least 13 points.
Analysis: Hinrich had an off shooting night, which is bound to happen from time to time. He has been getting around 10 shots on most nights off the bench and is finding around 30 minutes of playing time. Despite this clunker, Fantasy owners should still look to Hinrich as a possible stopgap No. 3 or 4 guard option as long as the minutes and shot attempts are there. He is also averaging 5.0 assists over his last five games.
News: According to The Sports Xchange, Bulls G Kirk Hinrich snapped out of brief slump by hitting four of five shots from 3-point range for 17 points in Friday's loss to the Raptors. In the previous three games, Hinrich made just 2-of-13 tries from behind the arc.
Analysis: There's a whole lot of guards clustered together in Chicago right now, but he keeps getting his minutes. He is nothing more than a No. 4 option in most leagues and should be used when the Bulls have favorable weeks.
News: Bulls G Kirk Hinrich had 13 points points with seven assists and four rebounds in Monday's afternoon game at the Knicks. He is averaging 9.0 points with 4.4 rebounds and 2.8 rebounds over his last five games since returning from his thumb injury.
Analysis: Hinrich still finds himself in a crowded back court situation, but is getting around 30 minutes per game. There seem to be no physical limitations with him right now, but his situation is that of a No. 4 Fantasy guard to be used when the Bulls face favorable weeks.
News: Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich was ready to return for Chicago's game against the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday night, about a month earlier than initially anticipated after he underwent thumb surgery in November. With forward Luol Deng also available after missing eight games with a sprained left ankle, the Bulls had their full core available for the first time this season. Guard Thabo Sefolosha was also back after missing a game with the flu. "It's kind of exciting," Deng said. "For some reason, it feels like opening night." Coach Vinny Del Negro said Hinrich would likely play 15 to 20 minutes in a reserve role, with Deng playing about 25 off the bench.
Analysis: Hinrich was not expected to return until next month after he tore the ulnar collateral ligament in his right thumb during a 100-83 victory over Phoenix on Nov. 7. That happened when he tried to knock the ball away from Amare Stoudemire in the third quarter. He underwent surgery four days later and missed 31 games. Before that, he was averaging 8.3 points and 4.0 assists in mostly a backup role. While his return could give the struggling Bulls a boost, it also adds to a glut in the backcourt. Guard Larry Hughes, who missed the first eight games with a dislocated right shoulder, wants a bigger role but the odds of that happening appear slim - particularly with Hinrich back. Until Hinrich begins getting real minutes and contributes you should continue to keep him benched. However, now might be a good time to scoop him off waivers in leagues where he's available.
News: The Chicago Daily Herald reports that Kirk Hinrich (thumb) was able to participate in full-contact practice for the first time since having surgery to repair a torn ligament in his right thumb on Nov. 13. The report adds that while it is possible Hinrich could suit up later this week, it is more likely the Bulls will be conservative and wait until next week.
Analysis: The Bulls play four games in the upcoming scoring period, but there is no guarantee Hinrich will return at any point within those four games. Fantasy owners should keep him reserved for at least one more week and wait for him to prove both healthy and productive before activating him again.
News: Bulls G Kirk Hinrich (thumb) has been practicing with the team in non-contact drills and could return to full contact drills soon. He hopes to return within the next week or two. Hinrich had been expected to return some time in February.
Analysis: Hinrich is a bit ahead of schedule, but until he won't be back to game action until he can practice fully. Fantasy owners should not count on activating him for the upcoming scoring period and possibly not for another couple of weeks after that, but he is worth adding off the waiver wire now and stashing until he can prove healthy and productive again now that he's nearing a return.
News: Bulls G Kirk Hinrich had a pin taken out of his right thumb on Wednesday. He had surgery on his thumb and there in no timetable on his return. He has missed 17 games.
Analysis: Hinrich has missed just 21 games in his first five NBA seasons. If he is out a full 12 weeks after the surgery, he would return in early February and miss 43 games. Hinrich remains a No. 3 or 4 Fantasy guard when healthy but he can be safely dropped off rosters unless you have an injury spot and really want to keep him.
News: Chicago Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich had surgery to repair a torn ligament in his right thumb and could be out for three months. Dr. John Fernandez and Dr. Mark Cohen of Rush University Medical Center performed the operation Tuesday.
Analysis: Hinrich has missed just 21 games in his first five NBA seasons. If he is out a full 12 weeks after the surgery, he would return in early February and miss 43 games. Hinrich had moved back into the starting lineup Friday but now will cede to either Ben Gordon or Thabo Sefolosha until Hughes returns. Hinrich remains a No. 3 or 4 Fantasy guard when healthy but he can be safely dropped off rosters unless you have an injury spot and really want to keep him.
News: Maybe that crowded Bulls backcourt won't be a problem after all. With Larry Hughes already sidelined as he recovers from a dislocated right shoulder, the Bulls announced Saturday that PG Kirk Hinrich could miss up to 12 weeks because he needs surgery to repair a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right thumb, reports the Chicago Tribune. Hinrich, who suffered the injury in the third quarter of Friday's victory over Phoenix, will undergo surgery Tuesday at Rush University Medical Center.
3 or 4 Fantasy guard when healthy be can be safely dropped off rosters unless you have an injury spot and really want to keep him.
News: Bulls PG Kirk Hinrich replaced Thabo Sefolosha in the starting lineup Friday against the Suns, but then left the game in second half with a sprained thumb. He will get an MRI on Saturday morning. Hinrich had five points, five assists and one rebound in 16 minutes.
Analysis: Hinrich has scored in double figures just twice in six games this season. He is averaging 26 minutes per game, but the Bulls have a logjam at guard and it's been hard for Hinrich to get consistent stat lines. His Fantasy value continues to plummet and this injury won't help. He remains a low-end Fantasy forward when healthy.
News: Coming off the bench for Chicago, PG Kirk Hinrich scored 15 points in 26 minutes of action against the Bucks on Tuesday night. Hinrich added two threes and seven assists but committed three turnovers.
Analysis: Thabo Sefolosha is starting over him but Hinrich will still get the majority of minutes. Hinrich remains a No. 3 or 4 Fantasy guard despite this news.
News: The Chicago Tribune reports that Thabo Sefolosha will start alongside rookie Derrick Rose in the season-opener Tuesday night against Milwaukee. Coach Vinny Del Negro said his other starters are Luol Deng and Tyrus Thomas at forward and Drew Gooden at center. "I just felt it gave us some good size in the backcourt," Del Negro said. "We needed Kirk to run the second team for us. I thought the balance for right now made sense. As I've said all along, that is subject to change."
Analysis: Sefolosha took the opportunity in stride. "I've always felt more comfortable starting," Sefolosha said. "My focus is right from the start. I'm into the game." He'll be the starter, in name, but Hinrich will still get the majority of the minutes. Consider Sefolosha someone to add off the waiver wire, but leave him reserved for Fantasy Week 1 (Oct. 27-Nov. 2) to see how he fits into the rotation. Hinrich remains a No. 3 or 4 Fantasy guard despite this news.
News: The Bulls will play the Milwaukee Bucks (Oct. 28), the Boston Celtics (Oct. 31) and the Memphis Grizzlies (Nov. 1) in Week 1 (Oct. 27-Nov.2) of the Fantasy Basketball season.
Analysis: The Bulls are dealing with several injuries entering the season, some major and some minor. Larry Hughes will be out for at least the first month of the season which actually alleviates some of the logjam in the back court. Derrick Rose left the preseason finale against Milwaukee with a hip and hamstring strain, but will be ready to go for the opener and should be in the starting lineup in the back court along with Kirk Hinrich. Rose can be used as a low-end starter in leagues of 12-plus teams, but it's not a bad idea to keep the rookie or Hinrich reserved until the dynamics of the Bulls backcourt become clearer if possible.
News: The Chicago Tribune is reporting that Bulls G Larry Hughes will miss 6-8 weeks due to the dislocated shoulder he suffered in Wednesday's preseason game. Sources said it's likely surgery would be avoided, although more tests will be conducted Thursday or Friday. This injury should create a situation where Kirk Hinrich starts alongside rookie Derrick Rose in the backcourt.
Analysis: If Hughes misses six weeks, he would return Dec. 3 at Milwaukee and miss 18 games. If it's eight weeks, he would miss 24 games more than 25 percent of the season. This injury should create a chance for Rose and Hinrich and actually helps to alleviate a crowded backcourt situation. Hinrich should see some playing time at both guard positions and will get his minutes one way or another.
News: Bulls rookie G Derrick Rose started Friday's preseason game against Utah at point guard. Last year's starting point guard, Kirk Hinrich, started at shooting guard. Rose finished with 14 points and five assists in 23 minutes. Hinrich finished with seven points and seven assists in 31 minutes.
Analysis: The Bulls have plenty of options in a crowded back court. There is Rose, Hinrich, Ben Gordon, Larry Hughes and Thabo Sefolosha. Rose, who was selected with the first overall pick in this summer's NBA draft, should get healthy playing time even if he isn't always used as a starter. Although, for now, it appears he might be. Hinrich should see some playing time at both guard positions and will get his minutes one way or another.
News: Bulls G Kirk Hinrich averaged career lows in points (11.5), assists (6.0), rebounds (3.3) and minutes played (31.7) during the 2007-08 regular season. He appeared in 75 games and started 72 of them, missing time at a couple of points in the season due to minor injuries.
Analysis: Hinrich's numbers dipped across the board, but really the only significant drop was in scoring. As far as assists and rebounds go, he's averaged six and three in each of his five NBA seasons. He'd been around 15 points to go with it in each of the previous three seasons and had been like clockwork as far as his stats go in Fantasy. This was a down season for the Bulls in all aspects and a coaching change should re-invigorate the team with Hinrich very likely returning to the 15-6-3 form that made him a solid No. 2 guard in Fantasy once.
News: Bulls guard Chris Duhon had 22 points, 15 assists and three rebounds Monday at Milwaukee in 30 minutes. He outplayed starter Kirk Hinrich, who had three points and six assists in 18 minutes.
Analysis: Duhon has minimal Fantasy value at this time and probably won't return to Chicago next season. Hinrich will remain the starter, but this has been a down year for him. Look for Hinrich to bounce back next year with a more stable environment with the Bulls.
News: Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich went for five points, four assists and one rebound Tuesday at Miami.
Analysis: It's been a disappointing season for Hinrich, and he has struggled at times this year. Look for him to limp to the end of the season and hope he can be better when next year starts.
News: Bulls G Kirk Hinrich had four points with six assists and two rebounds in Thursday's win at Cleveland. He's been held under 10 points in three of his last five games and in back-to-back contests.
Analysis: Hinrich is averaging 10.2 ppg, 6.2 apg and 2.2 rpg over his last five games. He's been putting up numbers worthy of use only as a No. 4 Fantasy guard and that's certainly not what he was drafted to be. Fantasy owners shouldn't hesitate to go with a hotter option.

Analysis: Hinrich is averaging four less points per game than he did a season ago to go with pedestrian assist totals for a starting point guard who plays as much as he does. It's been a frustrating Fantasy season for the former Kansas standout, but he remains a useful No. 3 Fantasy guard down the stretch. At least his assist numbers have been up lately.

News: Chicago Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich sat out Thursday night's game against the San Antonio Spurs with a sprained right ankle. Hinrich initially hurt his ankle in Tuesday night's win over New Jersey when he stepped on teammate Larry Hughes' foot. He tried to warm up Thursday night but said his mobility was limited. "It kind of swelled up on me the last couple of days and I wasn't moving really well on it,"Hinrich said. "I feel like I could go, but I don't think I can move, don't think I'd be very effective. Any kind of planting or moving is really bothering me."
Analysis: As sad as this sounds, the Bulls might actually be better off with Hinrich with some of the performances he has put out recently. Hinrich has only been in double figures for three of nine games in March and has not really clicked with the new acquisitions. Hinrich has been inconsistent all season and has been dropped to a No. 3 Fantasy guard.

News: Bulls G Kirk Hinrich shot just 2-for-12 from the field in Thursday's win over the Cavaliers. He finished with 6 points, 7 assists and 5 rebounds. He also added 3 steals.
Analysis: Hinrich was putrid from the field, but overall still managed a way to make it not a total loss from a Fantasy standpoint with the assists, rebounds and steals. Players that take 10-15 shots per game on a regular basis will end up scoring in double figures more often than not, so Hinrich should be expected to get back to his 12.8 scoring average fairly soon.
News:Kirk Hinrich had 19 points, 12 assists and a career-high four blocks Tuesday against Memphis. Chris Duhon told Hinrich in jest the statisticians were "very generous" in rewarding blocks. Ben Gordon said he only saw one and wondered, "Where were the other three, Kirk? Got people in high places, huh?" Hinrich shrugged it off, saying: "I guess everybody gets lucky some days."
Analysis: Hinrich has the potential for solid stat lines like this, but sometimes his game tails off. For now, consider Hinrich a No. 3 Fantasy guard.
News: Bulls G Kirk Hinrich shot just 2-for-4 from the field in Sunday's loss at Cleveland. He finished with 5 points in 19 minutes.

News: The Chicago Sun-Times notes that Kirk Hinrich was benched in the second half Wednesday at Indiana in favor of Larry Hughes. "I said there's competition out here," coach Jim Boylan said when asked about the benching afterward. "Bring your 'A' game or come down here and sit next to me. That's the way that went tonight."
Analysis: Hughes ended up scoring a team-high 29 points in the win, but the move doesn't appear to be permanent. It is something to monitor, but it could be a positive wake-up call as well.
News: Bulls PG Kirk Hinrich was ejected from Monday night's game at Dallas after getting two technical fouls in a matter of seconds. Hinrich and Dallas guard Jason Kidd were fighting for a loose ball at Chicago's end of the court when the ball went out of bounds with 2:20 left in the first half. The ball appeared to hit last off Kidd, but official Monty McCutchen ruled otherwise and gave possession to the Mavericks. Hinrich argued with McCutchen and got a quick technical foul, then kept arguing and got another one for an automatic ejection.
Analysis: Hinrich was 0-for-2 shooting with two assists and three turnovers in 11 1/2 minutes of playing time. He was coming off two straight points-assists double-doubles, but his overall numbers have disappointed this year. Use him as a No. 3 Fantasy guard.

He went 10 of 18 from the field, had seven rebounds and four assists.
Analysis: Hinrich has scored in double figures for 10 straight games and has been a real leader on the floor with Luol Deng and Ben Gordon both out with injuries. We can only imagine that Hinrich's scoring will drop some as soon as the Bulls are healthy, but he will likely be no worse than a No. 2 Fantasy guard in the second half.

Chicago interim coach Jim Boylan said Hinrich was to stay in Seattle to get tests at a hospital instead of joining his teammates on the postgame flight to Portland. The Bulls play there Wednesday. "I don't know the extent of the injury. I think they are just being cautious," Boylan said.
Analysis: Hopefully Hinrich will be OK to play against the Blazers. Keep an eye on what develops and see if Hinrich can return. In daily leagues, you might want to keep Hinrich reserved to be safe.

News:The Sports Xchange reports Bulls PG Kirk Hinrich has really stepped up his game while leading scorers Ben Gordon and Luol Deng are both sidelined. In the past four games, Hinrich averaged 27.5 points, 6.8 assists and shot an even 50 percent from the field. Before that stretch, Hinrich was averaging a career-low 11.3 points this season. "I don't think it's a matter of using him any differently," coach Jim Boylan said. "I think it's a matter of Kirk approaching the game in a different way. When he saw that our two leading scorers were out, he knows that the responsibility of generating some offense for us falls on his shoulders."
Analysis: Boylan hopes that Hinrich doesn't revert to his old self once the Bulls are healthy. "We've had a conversation about that, about not changing that when Ben and Lu come back," Boylan said. "He's got to continue to play with that same kind of thrust on the offensive end when other scorers are out there on the floor. If he does that, I think that will make our team very, very difficult to guard." Fantasy owners would sure love to see that as well. Continue to treat Hinrich as a high-end Fantasy guard.
News: Bulls G Kirk Hinrich had 31 points with five rebounds and three assists Sunday afternoon in a 88-77 loss to Phoenix. The Bulls were playing without Ben Gordon and Luol Deng, both out with injuries.
Analysis: Hinrich has had a couple of big games in the last week, scoring 38 points with 10 assists Wednesday against the Pacers. The loss of Luol Deng for the next 1-3 weeks and the potential absence of Gordon for another game or two make Hinrich a great start in Fantasy play in Week 14 (Jan. 28-Feb. 4).
News:Kirk Hinrich scored a career-high 38 points, and the Chicago Bulls beat the Indiana Pacers 108-95 on Wednesday night even though their two best players were injured. The Bulls learned earlier in the day that forward Luol Deng would miss one to three weeks because of his recurring left Achilles' tendinitis. Then, they found out that leading scorer Ben Gordon would sit out with a sprained right wrist. Even so, they had more than enough to beat the Pacers. Hinrich, who hit 14 of 21 shots, scored 12 points in the fourth quarter and left to a loud ovation with 40 seconds left. He also had 10 assists in the game and seven rebounds, just missing a triple-double.
Analysis: Hinrich hasn't been much of a scoring option this season and has been over 20 points just three times, including Wednesday. However, the game against the Pacers is what he might need to get refocused and gain some confidence. With Deng out, Hinrich becomes a No. 2 Fantasy guard.

News: Chicago PG Kirk Hinrich, the only Bulls player to start every game this season, was inactive for Tuesday at Orlando because of back spasms.
Analysis: Hinrich has played somewhat better after a slow start, but still not up to the standard he demonstrated last year. With an average of 11.3 points, 3.6 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game, he deserves to start as a No. 3 guard in Fantasy. We don't suspect this injury will sideline him for long.

News: Bulls PG Kirk Hinrich had just two points, two assists and a rebound in Friday's loss at Boston. He shot 1-for-5 from the field and also had four turnovers.
Analysis: That's back-to-back stinkers for Hinrich and it comes after he had revived his fading Fantasy appeal earlier in the month of December. We're still trying to figure out which Hinrich is the real one, but feel that he's too talented to continue to play this poorly.
News: Bulls PG Kirk Hinrich scored eight points in Wednesday's game at Washington. He had scored in double figures in five straight games.
Analysis: Hinrich is averaging 11.4 ppg, 6.5 apg and 4.5 rpg in the month of December, all numbers that are better than the numbers he put up in November. Slowly, he's starting to creep back into the 15 ppg average he's been around each of the last three seasons.

Analysis: Yes, Hinrich is having a crummy season by his standards, but he's picked up his pace a bit in his last four games, averaging 14.3 points and 9.0 assists. Keep him active as a No. 3 guard in Fantasy and realize that he has plenty of room to improve.
News: Bulls G Kirk Hinrich has scored at least in double figures in three straight games with eight assists in back-to-back games. He has shot 53.8 percent from the field in those contests.
Analysis: Hinrich has had a horrible season to date, but perhaps this is the sign of him straightening things out. He's been around 15 ppg and 6 rpg in each of the last three seasons and Fantasy owners could be about to benefit from a market correction as he has some catching up to do.
News: Bulls PG Kirk Hinrich was pulled from Tuesday's game vs. Atlanta after just 17 minutes of play due to his poor play. He had just four points and three assists with two turnovers.
Analysis: Hopefully, this will ignite some kind of drive in Hinrich. He hasn't had that all season. He's averaging just 10.4 ppg, 5.4 apg and 2.0 rpg while shooting under 35 percent from the floor. At this time, it is best to keep him reserved unless your league requires starting four or five guards.
News: Bulls PG Kirk Hinrich continued his slow start to the season with an 11-point, four-rebound, four-assist performance Saturday at New York. He shot 5-of-18 from the floor.
Analysis: Hinrich's numbers are down across the board from last season, but his poor field-goal percentage (34.2) and the Bulls' struggles as a whole might have something to do with it. Stay patient with him, keeping him active as a No. 3 guard in Fantasy normally, but consider benching him for Week 5 since the Bulls play only two games.

Analysis: Hinrich is shooting a horrible 35.0 percent from the field in five starts and is killing Fantasy owners with his three-point percentage (17.6 percent) as well. We don't think he'll shoot this poorly for much longer and recommend you be patient with him. His numbers should even out and be somewhere around his career averages (15.0 ppg, 6.4 apg, 3.6 rpg, 41.4 percent shooting).

He's still just 26, so there is the potential for him to have a substantial increase in his numbers, but we don't see that happening in the grand scheme of things in Chicago.
News: Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich decided not to play for the USA National Team that is going to qualify for the 2008 Summer Olympics via the FIBA Americas Tournament for personal reasons. Apparently, according to the Daily Southtown, a bit role with Team USA did not appeal to Hinrich, who was limited to 13 minutes in a recent intrasquad scrimmage. With point guards Jason Kidd and Chauncey Billups ahead of him, Hinrich would have been no better than third at the position. Hinrich was married last month, which likely played a role in the decision as well.
Analysis: The early departure could make for a fresher, more effective Hinrich for the NBA season. Hinrich tends to wear down as the season progresses, and he complained of fatigue after the playoffs. Bulls GM John Paxson advised him to take part in a more rigorous strength and conditioning program during the summer. Hinrich will enter the season as one of the top point guards in Fantasy leagues and should be a middle-round selection for the 2007-08 season.

He's still just 26, so there is the potential for him to have a substantial increase in his numbers, but we don't see that happening in the grand scheme of things in Chicago. These numbers fit his role on the team and one of his best attributes to Fantasy owners is his regularity.
