(1/29/2015) Bucks center Zaza Pachulia (calf) said Thusday that he felt a "pop" during shootaround and had to quit, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Pachulia has been ruled out for Thursday's game in Orlando, and he believes he'll miss a week at most while recovering from a strained calf. He has averaged 7.9 points and 6.6 rebounds in 42 games.

The Bucks are 4-point road favorites against the Magic Thursday.

Pachulia initially came into the game listed as questionable, but will not play. He's battling a calf injury. Pachulia is averaging 7.9 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.

Pachulia is dealing with a calf injury. Meanwhile, forward Ersan Ilyasova has been ruled out of Thursday's game with a groin injury. Forward Johnny O'Bryant could see his role increase with Ilyasova sidelined.

The Bucks are 4 1/2-point favorites.

(1/22/2015) Bucks center Zaza Pachulia scored 10 points on 4 of 14 shooting and hauled in 10 rebounds in his team's 101-99 loss to the Jazz Thursday.

Pachulia's double-double was his fifth of the month, but he struggled from the field yet again, making less than 30 percent of his shots for the fourth time in his last seven games. The big man also managed three assists in 31 minutes of action. The Bucks will square off with the Pistons Saturday.


Report: Larry Sanders told brass he doesn't want to play anymore

(1/5/2015) Bucks center Larry Sanders told some team officials recently that he doesn't want to play basketball anymore, reports the Racine (Wisc.) Journal Times. Sanders, 26, has missed the past six games for what the team called "personal issues."

In August 2013, Sanders signed a four-year, $44 million contract extension through 2017. He averaged 7.3 points and 6.1 rebounds in 27 games this year.

The Bucks are going with Zaza Pachulia and John Henson at center.

(1/4/2015) Bucks center Zaza Pachulia scored 16 points on 6 of 12 shooting while racking up 14 rebounds in his team's 95-82 win over the Knicks Sunday.

Pachulia has posted double-doubles in both his December games, making it the first time this season he's accomplished the feat in back-to-back games. He also kicked in three assists and two steals in 31 minutes in the win. Pachulia will match up with the Suns Tuesday.

Pachulia shot 4-10 from the field. He sunk all four of his free throws, finishing with 12 points. He was active on the boards as well, pulling down 14 rebounds. Pachulia also had one assist and one steal. 


Personal issues keeping Bucks' Larry Sanders out of lineup

(1/2/2015) Bucks coach Jason Kidd told reporters Friday center Larry Sanders is dealing with personal issues which is why he won’t play in Friday’s game against the Pacers, reports Fox Sports Wisconsin.

"It's personal. There's nothing I can give you more," Kidd said. "That's the way the question will be answered."

There is no timetable on when Sanders will return. Zaza Pachulia is expected to see an increase in minutes with Sanders out.

The Bucks are 2-point favorites over the Pacers.

(11/29/2014) Bucks coach Jason Kidd told reporters centers John Henson and Zaza Pachulia will not play Saturday night against Houston. Henson is nursing a foot injury, while Pachulia is away from the team dealing with a death in the family.

Meanwhile, point guard Nate Wolters will be available off the bench. Wolters has been sidelined since Nov. 21 due to an illness, FOX Sports Wisconsin reports.

(11/28/2014) Bucks center Zaza Pachulia has returned to the Republic of Georgia after the death of his grandmother and will not play Friday at Detroit, reports Fox Sports Wisconsin.

It is not know how long Pachulia will be away from the team. The Bucks next play Saturday against Houston.

Pachulia scored eight points in 13 minutes before leaving the contest with the injury. He was unable to return. The severity of Pachulia's injury is not known at this time.

(4/5/2014) Bucks center Zaza Pachulia received three stitches over his right eye during Friday's loss to Chicago.

Pachulia still managed to play the rest of the game and finished with 13 points on 5 of 10 from the floor, and 3 of 4 from the charity stripe. He also contributed with nine rebounds, three assists and one block while logging 40 minutes of game action. He is averaging 9.4 points, 9.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists over his last five games.

(2/2/2014) Bucks center Zaza Pachulia was able to return to the floor for the first time in nearly two months Saturday against the Grizzlies, after recovering from a foot injury.

Pachulia played 12 minutes off the bench in his first game back. He scored four points on 2 of 2 shooting, and added one rebound, one assist and one steal in the 99-90 loss.

Pachulia had spent some time as a starter early in the season, but is likely to come off the bench moving forward. He is averaging 6.7 points and 6.5 rebounds per game for the season.

Pachulia was expected to miss at least four weeks when he suffered the injury in early December, but his absence will soon pass the two-month mark. Before the injury, he averaged 6.9 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists over 17 games played.

(12/9/2013) The Bucks will be without center Zaza Pachulia for nearly a month, the team announced Monday. Pachulia has been diagnosed with a stress fracture in his right foot, an injury that will keep him out at least four weeks.

Pachulia suffered the injury Dec. 4 against the Pistons, and had an MRI taken the next day to determine the extent of the injury. He will be in a walking boot for four weeks before being re-examined. 

Pachulia had started 11 of the 17 games he appeared in this season, averaging 6.9 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.

Pachulia has missed two games with an ankle injury, and he might be out at least a few more if his sprain was severe enough to require a boot. He has averaged 6.9 points and 6.5 rebounds over 17 games.

Udoh, who tallied three points and six blocks in 22 minutes Wednesday, left in the fourth quarter of the game with an injury to his right ankle. Pachulia played just six minutes in the first half with a sprained right foot.

He did add 11 rebounds and an assist in 25 minutes, during a 104-77 loss.
