Biedrins has appeared in just six games this season, scoring three points in the final year of his contract.

(3/30/2014) Jazz center Andris Biedrins was again listed as inactive for Sunday's game against the Thunder.

The 27-year-old hasn't played since Dec. 9 and remains out indefinitely with shoulder tendinitis. He has been a marginal contributor this season, appearing in just six games this season, averaging only 2.8 boards.

(3/23/2014) Jazz guard Alec Burks and center Andris Biedrins will miss Monday's contest against the Pistons, according to the Salt Lake Tribune.

Burks suffered a sprained ankle at the end of the team's practice Friday, and was unable to play Saturday. Biedrins is nursing a shoulder injury. He has been a marginal contributor this season, appearing in just six games this season, averaging only 2.8 boards.

(1/7/2014) Jazz center Andris Biedrins has been sent home and will not be at the arena for Tuesday's game against the Thunder due to flu-like symptoms, the team announced.

Biedrins hasn't played in any of the team's last nine games and has logged just 45 minutes over six appearances this season, making his only field goal attempt and going 1 for 6 from the free-throw line.

(11/30/2013) Jazz center Andris Biedrins had a brief season debut during Friday's loss to the Suns.

Biedrins, who was working his way back from a left ankle sprain, made his debut off the bench with four minutes remaining in the game. He picked up a foul and did not have a field goal attempt. Biedrins did not record any stats in a 112-101 defeat.

Biedrins scored just 24 points in 53 games with the Warriors last season and is unlikely to be a major factor for the 2-14 Jazz.

(11/18/2013) The Jazz provided updates on some of their injured players Monday via the Deseret News, three of whom remain out Monday against the Warriors. Center Andris Biedrins (ankle) and guard Brandon Rush (knee) both continue to make progress, though neither has a specific timeline for their returns. Forward Jeremy Evans (shoulder), on the other hand, should be able to practice Tuesday.

Rush has appeared in just one game this season, which is one more than Biedrins and Evans have played.

(11/1/2013) The Jazz held out center Andris Biedrins, forwards Jeremy Evans and Marvin Williams, and guards Trey Burke and Brandon Rush out of Friday night's contest against the Suns due to injuries, NBA.com reports.

Burke is wearing a splint as he is working his way back from a fractured bone in his broken right index finger. Williams is also working his way back from surgery on his right heel and Achilles tendon. Biedrins is dealing with an ankle injury while Evans is dealing with a rotator cuff strain.

All four have missed the team's first two games of the season.

Warriors finally move Biedrins

(7/5/2013) The Warriors cleared two big contracts off their salary cap Friday, as they agreed to trade Richard Jefferson and Andris Biedrins to the Jazz, along with Brandon Rush and their first-round picks in 2014 and '17, in exchange for guard Kevin Murphy and his unguaranteed contract for 2013-14, according to numerous media reports. Biedrins, Jefferson and Rush combine to make $24 million next season.
