News: Lakers guard Chris Duhon played 11 minutes on Sunday in a loss at Toronto. Duhon scored just one point in the game as he went 0 for 1 from the field. He grabbed two rebounds and dished out one assist for the Lakers.
Analysis: Duhon has scored a total of five points in his last five games and that comes with an average of three assists per game. He doesn't see nearly enough playing time to matter in Fantasy at this time.
News: Lakers guard Chris Duhon returned to the court Sunday night against the Nuggets. Duhon, who missed his last two games, was held scoreless in 12 minutes of game action. He went 0 for 1 shooting and dished out five assists in a 112-105 defeat.
Analysis: Duhon was dealing with a back issue earlier in the week and was cleared to play Friday against the Clippers despite earning a DNP-coach's decision. With Steve Nash now healthy, Duhon has been seeing around 15 minutes per game most nights which makes it tough for him to get his numbers. At this point, the 30-year-old should not be worth owning in most formats.
News: Lakers guard Chris Duhon did not appear in Los Angeles' game against the Clippers Friday night. Duhon was active for the contest but earned a DNP-coach's decision after missing practice Thursday with a back issue.
Analysis: Duhon is merely a reserve guard for the Lakers, who is averaging just 4.1 points and 3.7 assists on the year. With Steve Nash now healthy, Duhon has been seeing around 15 minutes per game most nights which makes it tough for him to get his numbers. The veteran is not worth owning in most formats, even when healthy.
News: Lakers guard Chris Duhon was forced to miss practice Thursday, and is considered a game-time decision for Friday's game against the Clippers. Duhon missed the team's last game with back spasms.
Analysis: Duhon averaged just over 26 minutes per night in December, but is averaging just around 15 minutes per game with Steve Nash back. He has scored a combined five points over the last four games since Nash has returned to action, and has marginal Fantasy value in deeper formats, when healthy.
News: Lakers guard Chris Duhon was unable to play in Tuesday's game against the 76ers due to a back injury. He was forced to leave Sunday's practice due to back spasms and is being considered day to day at this point.
Analysis: Duhon averaged just over 26 minutes per night in December, but now that Steve Nash is back in the lineup, he is only logging 15 minutes per game. He has scored a combined five points over the last four games since Nash has returned to action, and has marginal Fantasy value in deeper formats, when healthy.
News: Lakers point guard Chris Duhon was forced to leave Sunday's practice early due to back spasms, according to the Los Angeles Times. Duhon is listed as day to day with the injury and is questionable for Tuesday's contest at home against Philadelphia.
Analysis: After averaging just 19 minutes per game in December, Duhon has seem more playing time while Steve Nash was sidelined with an injury. He has averaged just over 26 minutes per night in December, but now that Nash is back in the lineup, he is only logging 15 minutes per game. He has scored a combined five point over the last four games since Nash has returned to action, and has marginal Fantasy value in deeper formats.
News: Lakers point guard Chris Duhon, starting with Steve Blake and Steve Nash injured and Darius Morris struggling, played well Wednesday in a win at New Orleans. Duhon dished out a game-high 10 assists for the Lakers. He scored just three points on 1 of 3 from the field and added five rebounds.
Analysis: Duhon is averaging 6.2 assists per game over his last five contests while seeing over 31 minutes per night. He won't give Fantasy owners much scoring help but he's been a solid rebounder and is hitting some 3-pointers. He's definitely garnered value in the deepest Fantasy formats for as long as he's seeing this many minutes.
News: As part of the acquisition of Dwight Howard this offseason, the Lakers also acquired forward Earl Clark and guard Chris Duhon from the Magic, in order to make the salaries in the trade match up.
Analysis: The Lakers are absolutely stacked this season, so neither Clark or Duhon is projected to be any higher than third on the depth chart. Fantasy owners should avoid both of them in all formats on Draft Day.
News: Magic point guard Chris Duhon re-joined the Magic for Tuesday night's contest against the Wizards after being suspended one game for missing the team's morning shootaround on Monday. However, coach Ish Smith has been promoted to backup point guard behind Jameer Nelson coach Stan Van Gundy told reporters on Tuesday.
Analysis: Duhon is now back in good standing with the Magic, but likely won't see many minutes over the final few weeks of the season. He is now Orlando's No. 3 guard off the bench, making him a player who should ignored in the majority of formats for the remainder of the season.
News: Prior to Mondays game against the Pistons, the Magic announced that they have suspended guard Chris Duhon for that nights matchup for conduct detrimental to the team. Duhons agent, Kevin Bradbury, told the Orlando Sentinel "Chris had some personal issues that came up and he had to take care of that," said Bradbury. "But he's got everything on the right track now."
Analysis: Duhon has been the teams primary backup at the point guard spot, so he should get right back to his role in the rotation when his suspension ends on Tuesday. Even when he does return, however, he is unlikely to make a Fantasy impact, so continue to ignore him in all formats.
News: Magic guard Chris Duhon registered his third double-digit scoring performance of the season during Saturday night's contest against the Bucks. Duhon finished with 12 points in the 114-96 victory, on 4 of 6 shooting from the field. He went 4 of 5 from downtown and also added one assist and one rebound to his stat line, while logging 22 minutes off the bench.
Analysis: Duhon saw some extended run on Saturday night because Jameer Nelson got himself into some foul trouble. The 29-year-old continues to serve as Nelson's primary backup, but is only averaging 3.7 points and 2.7 assists on the season. That type of production isn't going to help many Fantasy owners, so continue to ignore him in the majority of formats at this point in the season.
News: Orlando PG Chris Duhon played 16 minutes on Monday in a win over Minnesota. Duhon took two shots in the game and his only make came from 3-point range. The point guard scored five points as he went 2 for 2 from the line. Duhon had three assists in the winning performance for Orlando.
Analysis: Duhon entered the scoring column for the first time since notching three points on Feb. 8 against Miami. Not a major player in the Magic rotation, Duhon has limited Fantasy appeal. He should only be owned in the deepest of leagues right now.
News: With starting point guard Jameer Nelson out once again with a head injury, the Magic turned to G Chris Duhon for his fifth start of the season and fourth start in a row on Friday against Cleveland. The veteran received 35 minutes of playing time in the 102-94 Magic victory, scoring eight points on 3 of 8 shooting while adding two rebounds and five assists.
Analysis: Despite starting the last four games for Orlando, Duhon has scored in double figures just once. He has been a low-end Fantasy option in that time, however the Magic do expect Nelson to return in the next few days, which will relegate Duhon back to his spot on the bench, which would make him lose whatever Fantasy value he currently has.
News: With G Jameer Nelson suffering a jaw injury, Magic G Chris Duhon saw 31 minutes of game action during Friday night's contest against the Hornets. Duhon finished with six points in the 93-67 defeat, on 2 of 6 shooting from the field. He went 1 of 3 from downtown and also chipped in with five assists and three rebounds in the loss.
Analysis: While the severity of Nelson's injury remains unknown at this point, Duhon could be looking at a major increase in playing time if he misses an extended amount of time. Fantasy owners should keep an eye on out for the latest updates moving forward. While Duhon would be the team's starting point guard if Nelson misses some time, the veteran would still only be worth starting in deeper formats.
News: Orlando backup PG Chris Duhon got some run on Tuesday night in a blowout win over the Pacers. The Magic only used starter Jameer Nelson for 24 minutes as Duhon got 25 in the win. Duhon went 3 of 5 from the field and hit two 3-pointers to score eight points for Orlando. He added four assists and three steals in the performance with one rebound.
Analysis: Duhon doesn't often get a lot of minutes for Orlando with Nelson running the point. He's averaging just under 18 minutes per game on the season. Until that number reaches at least 20, Duhon's Fantasy value will remain very low-end.
News: Magic G Chris Duhon once again was not much of a factor in Orlando's 104-97 win over the Kings on Sunday. Duhon finished with just two points in the victory, on 1 of 4 shooting from the field. He missed all three of his attempts from behind the arc and chipped in with two rebounds and two assists, while logging 18 minutes off the bench.
Analysis: Duhon continues to serve primarily as Jameer Nelson's backup, which continued to limit his production. While the veteran usually sees around 20 minutes per game, he has yet to score in double figures this season and is averaging just 3.9 points through the first nine games. As long as Nelson is healthy, Duhon should be left on the waiver wire in most formats.
News: Magic G Chris Duhon had to pick up the slack after Jameer Nelson left the game against New Jersey with neck spasms, and Duhon filled in ably. Magic coach Stan Van Gundy was impressed with Duhons nine-point, four-assist, one-turnover performance in the Magics 94-78 victory over the Nets. I really like the way hes played. This is the guy we signed, Van Gundy told the Orlando Sentinel. Nelson is questionable for the Magics next game on Friday at Charlotte, so Duhon should get the start in that contest.
Analysis: Duhon had the worst statistical season of his career last year, but he is playing much better in the early going. If Nelson is gone for a significant amount of time, Duhon would be a worthy pickup as a low-end Fantasy guard, but dont make any roster moves until you find out about Nelsons status.
News: Magic guard Chris Duhon, who has been slowed by strained left ankle told the Orlando Sentinel that he will take few weeks off to let his injury heal before he begins to train for the upcoming season. Duhon averaged a career-low 2.5 points and 2.3 assists this season while appearing in 51 games.
Analysis: Duhon had the worst statistical season of his career in his first year in Orlando playing behind Jameer Nelson and Gilbert Arenas. He posted career-lows in appearances (51), minutes (15.2), field goal attempts (2.5) 3-point attempts (1.0) and 3-point percentage (25.0 percent ). To be fair Duhon dealt with a ton of nagging injuries and the acquisition of Arenas as well as Jason Richardson created a bit of a log jam at the guard position. However, Duhon was not expected to make much of a Fantasy impact this season anyway. That will likely be the case once again heading into 2011-12, which is why Duhon is a player who can avoided on Draft Day next season.
News: The Orlando Sentinel reports that Magic guard Chris Duhon said Tuesday he still feels pain in his sprained left ankle, especially when he cuts to the right. Duhon played four minutes in Tuesday's Game 5 victory against Atlanta in the first-round playoff series. He had five points on 1 of 2 shooting from the field and 2 of 2 from the foul line.
Analysis: Duhon is a reserve guard for the Magic and has minimal Fantasy value when healthy. Keep an eye on his status for the rest of the playoffs, but heading into 2011-12 he should not be drafted in the majority of leagues.
News: Orlando guard Chris Duhon saw 11 minutes of court time on Tuesday against Milwaukee in his return to action. Duhon had missed three straight games because of sprained ligaments in his right thumb, and was expected to miss more time. In his return, Duhon missed all three of his shots from the field and grabbed one rebound. He was held scoreless and dished out one assist in Orlando's 78-72 victory.
Analysis: Duhon being back will let coach Stan Van Gundy rest some other players on the roster. He's averaging just 2.3 points and 2.2 assists in his 46 games this season (prior to Tuesday's game), and doesn't see much time on the court. Fantasy owners should ignore Duhon in all formats, despite him being healthy enough to play.
News: According to the team's official website, Orlando coach Stan Van Gundy said guard Chris Duhon would play on Tuesday against Milwaukee. Duhon has missed three straight games because of sprained ligaments in his right thumb. He was expected to be out until the last few games of the season.
Analysis: Duhon returning is good news for the Magic, so they can rest up all the guards for the playoffs. The seldom used third-string point guard is averaging just 2.3 points and 2.2 assists in his 46 games this season. While his return is good for Orlando, he is not worth the trouble in any Fantasy format. Continue to ignore him.
News: The Orlando Sentinel reports that the Magic have received some welcome news about injured third-string point guard Chris Duhon. An MRI to Duhon's injured right thumb showed a sprained ligament or ligaments, but no fracture, coach Stan Van Gundy said. Duhon is expected back before the regular season ends, perhaps late next week. "Chris' MRI came out better than we thought," Van Gundy said. "We were a little worried."
Analysis: Fantasy owners should keep Duhon reserved in all leagues until he comes back to action. But even when healthy he has minimal Fantasy value in the majority of leagues.
News: The Orlando Sentinel reports that the Magic could be without guard Chris Duhon for the foreseeable future. Duhon, who injured his right thumb on Monday, sat out Wednesday night's game against the Hawks. The Magic plan to have their team orthopedist and a hand specialist examine Duhon, who said he will receive an X-ray and an MRI on Thursday. "It's not going to be anything where he'll be back soon, that's for sure," coach Stan Van Gundy said. Duhon said he doesn't think the injury will keep him out long. "I'm hoping to be back by Sunday," he said.
Analysis: There are obviously differing feelings from the Magic on Duhon's status, but he has minimal Fantasy value even when healthy. Keep an eye on what happens, but ignore him in the majority of leagues.
News: Orlando guard Chris Duhon missed Wednesday's game in Atlanta with a sprained right thumb, according to NBA.com. He injured his thumb in New York on Monday. Coach Stan Van Gundy said an orthopedist will examine him when the team returns to Orlando. The team is concerned that Duhon may miss several games if there is ligament damage.
Analysis: Duhon is the backup point guard for the Magic, but he doesn't contribute much when he's on the court. It seems he could miss multiple games as the season winds down, which decreases his already minimal Fantasy value. Fantasy owners owners in all leagues should part ways with Duhon and look for a healthy alternative for the remainder of the season.
News: The Orlando Sentinel reports Wednesday that Magic guard Chris Duhon, who hurt his thumb during the loss to New York on Monday, will have his injury re-evaluated when the team returns to Orlando prior to Friday's game against Charlotte. Duhon is not expected to play Wednesday night at Atlanta.
Analysis: Duhon has minimal Fantasy value when healthy. Keep an eye on his progress, but don't plan on using him in the majority of leagues even if he's able to play Wednesday against the Hawks.
News: Magic guard Chris Duhon left during Monday's game against the Knicks with a thumb injury. Duhon jammed his right thumb during the first half but continued to play through the injury. However, he was unable to play in the second half and did not return to the contest. Duhon was held scoreless while logging just three minutes off the bench.
Analysis: Duhon appeared to jam his thumb going for a loose ball in the second quarter and was unable to play through his injury. The only reason he was even in the game at that point was because Jameer Nelson was out with a knee injury. Fantasy owners will have to monitor his status moving forward to see how long this injury will keep him sidelined. Still, Duhon doesn't have much Fantasy value at this point of the season anyway.
News: Active despite coming off of an illness, Magic G Chris Duhon was active for Monday's game against the Blazers. He did not play.
Analysis: Duhon was active for the two games before getting sick, but he still didn't play. Coach Stan Van Gundy clearly has little need for him in the lineup since the team acquired Gilbert Arenas to handle a bit of the ball-handling duty off of the bench. Duhon's inconsistent playing time makes him virtually worthless in Fantasy play. Ignore him in all formats.
News: The Orlando Sentinel reports that Magic G Chris Duhon was sick on Sunday, but was able to participate in Monday's morning shootaround. He will likely be available for Monday night's game against Portland.
Analysis: Duhon is averaging just 14.8 minutes in 37 appearances this season. There is no statistical reason for owning this third-stringer in any Fantasy league. Continue to leave him on the waiver wire in all leagues.
News: Magic G Chris Duhon got the start for the second straight game on Saturday night against the Bucks as Jameer Nelson (illness) was not with the team. He scored a season-high nine points on 4 of 7 shooting in the 96-85 loss. Duhon went 1 for 2 from downtown and was only able to contribute with one rebound and an assist in 31 minutes.
Analysis: Duhon has not done much since getting called into starting duty and is averaging just 3.3 points with 3.1 assists on the year. To his defense, Orlando's roster has been ravished by illness the last two games but he could not step up when given the opportunity. No word yet on when Nelson will return so Fantasy owners should keep tabs on the situation before setting their lineups for the upcoming scoring period. If Duhon continues to start the next few games, he will be worth using as a low-end option in deeper Fantasy formats in Week 7 (Dec. 6-12).
News: Magic guard Chris Duhon had one of his better games of the season in Friday's 111-100 win over the Cavaliers. Duhon matched a season-high with nine assists in the victory and also scored eight points on 3 of 4 shooting. He played 20 minutes off the bench and also grabbed an offensive rebound.
Analysis: Despite Duhon's decent game on Friday, he still averaging only 18 minutes and a game and isn't producing much in the minutes he is playing. He is averaging just 3.8 points and 3.4 assists over his last five contests and likely won't see much playing time unless Jameer Nelson goes down with an injury. Duhon can be left on the waiver wire in most formats at this point.
News: Magic G Chris Duhon has not been contributing much in the last few games and continued that trend on Saturday night against the Pacers. He scored just three points and had two rebounds while playing 17 minutes in the 90-86 win. Duhon, who made his lone 3-point attempt, also had an assist and two turnovers. He is averaging 1.6 points with 2.8 assists over his last five contests.
Analysis: Duhon saw decent minutes when Jameer Nelson went down with an injury but now that he is back in his reserve role, he doesn't stand to produce much. It will take another injury for him to become a viable contributor again so Fantasy owners would be wise to leave the 28-year-old on waivers in most formats heading into Week 5 (Nov. 22-28).
News: The Magic announced on Monday morning that G Jameer Nelson (ankle) was ruled out for the team's game Monday night against Atlanta. Chris Duhon was announced as a starter in his place. Nelson sprained his ankle on Friday against New Jersey.
Analysis: Duhon had nine assists in Saturday's game while replacing Nelson, but he managed just four points and attempted only six shots in the game. Consider Duhon as a possible emergency replacement in larger daily formats, but the lack of a guarantee of playing time beyond Monday's game and very mediocre upside makes him a player to avoid in weekly leagues.
News: Magic guard Chris Duhon, who made his first start of the season with Jameer Nelson sidelined with an ankle injury, helped lead Orlando to a 91-88 win over the Bobcats on Saturday night. Duhon had four points on 2 of 6 shooting from the floor and dished out nine assists in the win. He played 34 minutes and also chipped with three rebounds, one steal and a block.
Analysis: Duhon has actually been seeing decent minutes off the bench this season, but those numbers are a bit skewed because the Magic have been blowing teams out and resting their starters. Duhon has proved he can be a productive Fantasy option in the right system and will most likely continue to start at point guard until Nelson returns. Fantasy owners should continue to monitor Nelson's status heading into Week 3. If he seems unlikely to play much, consider picking up Duhon off the waiver wire.
News: With point guard Jameer Nelson sidelined with an ankle injury, Chris Duhon will make his first start of the season in Saturday's game against the Bobcats. Duhon is averaging 18 minutes off the bench this season for Orlando.
Analysis: Duhon has actually been seeing decent minutes off the bench, but those numbers are a bit skewed because the Magic have been blowing teams out and resting their starters. Duhon has proved he can be a productive Fantasy option in the right system and Orlando has plenty of talent around him. Owners in daily leagues should go ahead and get him active.
News: Magic G Chris Duhon played more minutes on Friday (23) than Thursday (19), but failed to take advantage of the extra playing time. He missed the only shot he took and scored on a free throw that would end up being his only point of the game. Duhon managed to pull in two rebounds and assisted on one basket in the loss. On the night before, he shot a perfect 3 of 3 from the floor and recorded three assists to go along with two rebounds.
Analysis: Duhon is not consistent enough to start as long as Jameer Nelson is healthy. He will continue to compete with Jason Williams for those backup minutes behind Nelson. We do not recommend drafting him in most formats.
News: Magic G Chris Duhon was very limited in Friday's preseason game against the Pacers. Duhon had just four points on 2 of 5 shooting and two assists in the 93-86 win. He played in 21 minutes and also grabbed one rebound.
Analysis: Duhon spent the past two seasons as the starting point guard for the Knicks, but now will serve as a backup to Jameer Nelson. Nelson has a history with injuries, so Duhon could make for a nice handcuff option, but he has really fallen off the last two seasons and is not consistent enough to start. We do not recommend drafting him in most formats.
News:Chris Duhon officially joined the Orlando Magic on Thursday. He addressed the media as he was formally introduced as the team's newest acquisition. "It was kind of tough," Duhon said of his time with the Knicks. "Going into it, their main focus was (signing LeBron James). There was times we had good chemistry going with a couple guys, and all of a sudden there are trades. They were focusing on this free agency period."
Analysis: Duhon's two seasons as the starting point guard in New York never really lived up to expectations, and the opportunity to be on a contending team was too much to pass up this time. Even if it means being a backup. Duhon had spurts of usefulness playing under Mike D'Antoni as a starter, but he'll find it hard to produce as a backup to Jameer Nelson in Orlando. His Fantasy appeal will be minimal in Orlando.
News: The Orlando Magic tried to sign Chris Duhon in free agency two years ago only to watch him go to New York. They finally got their man Tuesday. Duhon reached an agreement with the Magic for a $15 million, four-year deal, his agent said. Teams can't officially sign free agents until Thursday. Agent Kevin Bradbury told The Associated Press that the chance to play for a championship contender was enough to sway Duhon to the Magic this time. "The last time Chris was a free agent, the Magic obviously pursued him hard," Bradbury said. "Chris didn't forget that, and he has a lot of respect for that team. The Magic called right away."
Analysis: Duhon spent the last two years starting for the New York Knicks, never really living up to expectations and falling out of favor with coach Mike D'Antoni. He averaged 7.4 points and 5.6 assists per game last season. Even though he had little success with the Knicks, Magic GM Otis Smith said playing with All-Star center Dwight Howard should open up Duhon's game. "I think if maybe he had to do it over again, it may be a different situation," Smith said. "And here we are two years later and him having to do it all over again, and he still fits as well as he did before. I think our style of play will help him. We're not really that different (from New York). But the difference here is he has the big fella inside to help him out." Duhon fills a much-needed role behind starter Jameer Nelson and could step into the starting spot should an injury occur. Duhon will be a late-round Fantasy flier in deeper formats on Draft Day.
News: The Sports Xchange reports Knicks guard Chris Duhon is the team's least valuable player in 2009-10. Duhon was the only player signed in the Donnie Walsh/Mike D'Antoni era so far, and he was brought in to replace Stephon Marbury as the floor general to run D'Antoni's system. After a strong first half in his first season (2008-09), his performance fell off dramatically in the second half and that carried over into this season. Duhon averaged 7.4 points, 5.6 assists and 2.7 rebounds this year.
Analysis: Duhon will be a free agent this offseason, but he has minimal Fantasy value. Don't plan on using him in any leagues next year no matter where he signs. If he can't put up solid stats with the Knicks then he will likely struggle to be a productive Fantasy option with another team.
News: Knicks G Chris Duhon had four points with three assists in Sunday's game at the Clippers. He has averaged nine points and two rebounds with 3.5 assists in his last two games after not playing in the team's previous three games.
Analysis: Duhon is back at the helm of Mike D'Antoni's offense, more by default that by choice. He is not a stable guard by any means and remains a player we recommend avoiding in Fantasy. Sergio Rodriguez outperformed him off the bench Sunday.
News: Knicks guard Chris Duhon surprising saw 33 minutes of action on Friday after playing a total of two minutes in the Knicks' previous four games. Duhon responded with 14 points on 5 of 8 shooting as he went 4 for 7 from 3-point range. He added four assists and a steal.
Analysis: Don't read too much into this. Duhon has been awful in Fantasy for some time now and this is too late in the season to believe that is going to change.
News: Knicks G Chris Duhon had just two points to go with four assists and three rebounds in Sunday's game against Houston. He played 18 minutes off the bench. He is averaging just 20 minutes per game over the last two weeks.
Analysis: Duhon is averaging just two points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in his last five games and he is clearly not in a position to help Fantasy owners. He should remain inactive in just about every Fantasy format.
News:The Sports Xchange notes that Knicks G Chris Duhon saw his first action since Feb. 20 and played 10:45 against Dallas Saturday. He contributed three points, three assists, a steal and no turnovers.
Analysis: Duhon does nothing more than hold the last spot in the Knicks rotation. He remains a low-end Fantasy option for only the deepest of leagues if his minutes begin to increase. If not, he can remain on waivers in most formats.
News: Knicks PG Chris Duhon was removed from the starting lineup on Monday against Milwaukee. Not only didn't he start, he didn't play altogether. Sergio Rodriguez started and Eddie House was the first guard off the bench.
Analysis: Rodriguez fits coach Mike D'Antoni's style better and could hold on to the starting gig the rest of the way. Duhon has been struggling mightily over his last five games as a starter. He's averaging 3.2 points, 5.8 assists and 2.8 rebounds over that span. To make matters worse, he's just 6 for 26 from the field over that span and 1 for 13 from 3-point range. He's been struggling all year and isn't even playing as of now. You might start cutting bait across the board.
News: SI.com is reporting that the Sergio Rodriguez era in New York is beginning as Rodriguez is starting at point guard for the Knicks on Monday against the Bucks. Chris Duhon will come off the bench.

He's been struggling all year and now that he's coming off the bench, might be worth dropping outside of the deepest Fantasy leagues.
News: Knicks Mike D'Antoni is ready to reinstall Chris Duhon as the Knicks starting point guard over Nate Robinson, according to the New York Post. Duhon is expected to return as the starting point guard tomorrow vs. Sacramento in their last game before the All-Star break. Nate Robinson will return to a reserve role. Larry Hughes will likely only see backup point guard minutes, when and if he gets any playing time moving forward.
Analysis: The report says that Duhon and D'Antoni held an important meeting in their Cleveland hotel Saturday afternoon as the Knicks coach picked his captain's brain on the Knicks' troubles for 30 minutes. D'Antoni said he now firmly views Robinson is better suited as a shooting guard off the bench. Duhon has played the starting point guard role for D'Antoni with mixed results the last two seasons, but was not producing at a useful level for any type of Fantasy league before he was replaced last week by Robinson. He could have some Fantasy appeal in larger leagues here soon, but Robinson remains the better Fantasy option as a much better scorer. His chances for assists will likely be reduced the remainder of the way with D'Antoni pegging him as a shooting guard, however. Hughes has no Fantasy appeal.
News: Knicks guard Nate Robinson had a huge game on Wednesday in a win over Washington. Robinson scored 23 points in 35 minutes off the bench. He shot 10 for 15 and nailed a three. The diminutive one added eight assists, six rebounds and two steals. More importantly, Robinson played the entire second half and the Knicks played him over usual starter Chris Duhon. Coach Mike D'Antoni basically sat Duhon the entire second half. He finished with 13 minutes played, two points and 1 of 6 shooting.
Analysis: Could this mean the Knicks will turn back to starting KryptoNate in their next game and going forward? It certainly seems like a good idea since Robinson is so much more explosive. Pay attention to this situation because if the Knicks do begin to play him consistently again, Robinson will immediately be a solid start in any Fantasy league. Duhon has been worth using only in deeper leagues all year and only stands to lose value. Duhon's fleeting Fantasy appeal is close to hitting rock bottom, but this change is by no means set in stone.

News: Knicks PG Chris Duhon scored 11 points on Sunday in a loss at Minnesota. Duhon dished out four assists and shot 4 for 5 in the game. He hit three threes.
Analysis: Duhon is seeing just under 35 minutes per game over his last five and is still bringing home just 5.4 points, 7.2 assists and a three per game. The assists are a nice number and makes him worth owning and using in deeper leagues. The rest leaves a lot to be desired. The Knicks play a tough three-game schedule in Week 15 (Feb. 1-7) so we'd go in a different direction than Duhon.
News: Knicks G Chris Duhon had four points with four assists in Sunday's game against Dallas. Duhon came in 4 of 33 from the field the previous six games, then missed his first four attempts against the Mavs.
Analysis: Duhon remains the starter at point guard for the Knicks, but he has been very disappointing in January. He is averaging just 5.3 points and 5.4 assists per game and should be avoided until he can get on some sort of roll.
News:Nate Robinson showed his game is much more than dunks, scoring 27 points Monday to lead the New York Knicks to a 99-91 victory. Chosen earlier in the day to defend his slam dunk title at All-Star weekend, Robinson made five 3-pointers. Meanwhile, Chris Duhon had no points in 20 minutes as the team's starting point guard.
Analysis: For Duhon, it was his second straight zero-point performance. He is averaging just 2.0 points and 4.8 assists over his last five games and is quickly becoming a non-factor despite remaining in the starting lineup. He is not a player who should be active right now in most Fantasy leagues.
News: Knicks G Chris Duhon scored 10 points including a tie-breaking 3-pointer with 2:03 remaining to guide the Knicks to a 97-93 victory over Charlotte Thursday. Duhon was 3 of 5 from the field with three 3-pointers, five rebounds and six assists.
Analysis: Duhon has scored in double figures in four of his last five games. With the absence of Al Harrington, who is the team's second-leading scorer, Duhon will be called upon to contribute to the scoring. Fantasy owners should consider Duhon worthy of use as No. 3 or 4 guard.
News: Knicks PG Chris Duhon has combined to hit seven threes in his last two games. On Wednesday in a loss at New Jersey, the Knicks point guard nailed four threes but shot just 4 of 13 overall to score 12 points. He added seven dimes.
Analysis: Duhon is averaging 8.6 points and 6.8 dimes per game over his last five contests. His three-point shooting will help your Fantasy team but the rest of his game is lacking. Duhon's scoring has been all over the place this season and that keeps him largely a No. 3 Fantasy guard.
News: Knicks PG Chris Duhon had 17 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds in a win over the Clippers on Friday night.
Analysis: Duhon's scoring has been all over the place this season, but he now has four games with 17 points or more in his last six. Maybe think about using him in most leagues for Fantasy Week 9 (Dec. 21-27) if you need help at the guard spot.
News: Knicks PG Chris Duhon played well on Tuesday during a loss to the Bobcats. He scored a team-high 18 points with three three-pointers made. Duhon shot 7 of 12 overall from the field and added six assists, three boards and a steal with five turnovers.
Analysis: The former Dukie has scored 18 or more points in three of his last five games, which is a major boost in scoring for a guy averaging under nine points per game. He brings well over six assists per game to the table and can hit a good amount of threes. Duhon is a frustrating player in Fantasy. He's the starting point guard for one of the most potent offensive teams in the NBA, which makes him capable of stat lines like this from time to time. However, he is highly inconsistent. He can be considered a useful play in deeper leagues when the Knicks face favorable matchups.
News: Knicks PG Chris Duhon scored 22 points and dished out nine assists on Friday in a win at New Orleans. He shot 7 of 11 from the field and hit six threes in the game. The six threes were easily his best effort from behind the arc thus far this year. Duhon also scored 25 points with 10 assists four games back but totaled just 13 points in his two games in between.
Analysis: Duhon is a frustrating player in Fantasy. He's the starting point guard for one of the most potent offensive teams in the NBA, which makes him capable of stat lines like this from time to time. However, he is highly inconsistent. He can be considered a useful play in deeper leagues when the Knicks face favorable matchups. They play four times in Week 8 (Dec. 14-20) but the matchups are poor. You might consider keeping him benched.
News: Knicks G Chris Duhon had 25 points and 10 assists in Friday's game in Atlanta, his first double-double of the season. Both totals were season highs for Duhon.
News: Knicks PG Chris Duhon, who entered the game shooting 27.9 percent from the field, hit 3 of 6 shots Wednesday at Orlando to give him a field-goal percentage of 46.7 (14 for 30) over his last four games. He finished with eight points, three rebounds and two assists.
Analysis: Duhon has scored in double figures only three times over his last 14 games, so he still isn't very useful in Fantasy. He's a good source of assists, but not much else. He's waiver fodder in most Fantasy leagues.
News: Knicks PG Chris Duhon scored in double figures for the first time since early November on Saturday in a win over the Nets. Duhon dropped 11 points on 4 of 9 shooting with a three and added eight assists.
Analysis: Duhon is averaging 6.1 assists per game on the season but came in with 6.5 points per game. Duhon is still shooting just under 23 percent on the season and his Fantasy value has taken a massive hit because of that. Go ahead and use him in deeper Fantasy leagues in Week 5 (Nov. 23-29) however as the Knicks play four times.
News: The Knicks got another dismal outing from PG Chris Duhon against the Hawks on Wednesday. He went scoreless for the second time in four games and shot 0 for 6 with two assists and three turnovers. "Obviously he's going to have to play better, and hopefully he'll do it," Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni said.
Analysis: Duhon has a total of nine points in his last four games, shooting 2 for 23 (8.7 percent) during that stretch. He's a good source of assists in D'Antoni's offense, but his scoring is inconsistent and might ultimately cost him his starting job. He's still worth using as a matchups type, especially in leagues that reward two points for assists, but his value is on the decline.
News: Knicks PG Chris Duhon was dismal shooting the basketball on Friday night in a loss to Cleveland at the Garden. Duhon was 0 for 6 from the field and failed to score over 39 minutes in the game. Duhon did dish out eight assists and pick up two steals.
Analysis: Duhon is averaging 7.0 assists per game which saves him from the 8.5 points he's averaging over almost 40 minutes a night. Duhon will have his ups and downs this season for Mike D'Antoni's high-scoring offense. Still, he's more of a No. 2 Fantasy PG.
News: Knicks PG Chris Duhon had his best game of the season on Monday in a loss to New Orleans. Duhon scored a season-high 18 points on 4 of 10 shooting with two threes. He added nine assists and two steals.
Analysis: The nine dimes and two steals were also season highs for Duhon. He came into Monday's game averaging 7.7 points, 2.7 boards and 6.3 assists per game in three games but eclipsed all those numbers on Monday. Duhon will have his ups and downs this season for Mike D'Antoni's high-scoring offense. Still, he's more of a No. 2 Fantasy PG.
News: Knicks PG Chris Duhon played poorly in the season opener against the Heat on Wednesday. He shot just 1 of 7 from the field and six of them were threes. He only dished out five assists as he scored three points.
Analysis: Duhon will have to improve from here. This was a dismal performance and the Knicks lost the game. He has solid potential after a great season last year. Still, he's more of a No. 2 Fantasy PG.
News: Knicks PG Chris Duhon had a very quiet game on Sunday against the Heat. He went 2-for-4 from the field in 30 minutes of work for five points, adding two assists.
Analysis: Duhon has failed to reach double digits in four straight games. He scored only two points against the Bulls and Pistons on consecutive nights less than a week ago and had only eight on Friday against the Magic. He seems to have packed it in for the season and should probably be avoided the rest of the way.
News: Knicks PG Chris Duhon scored 22 points on Saturday in a loss to Toronto. Duhon shot 8-of-14 but was 0-for-4 from deep. He added five assists and a steal.
Analysis: Duhon is averaging 11 points per game over his last five contests but that comes with eight assists and over a three per night. That production makes him useful in 12-team and deeper Fantasy leagues.
News: Knicks G Chris Duhon was able to play on Wednesday against the Nets as expected as his back problems have subsided enough to play. He scored only six points in the game with three steals and three assists.
Analysis: In his last three games play, Duhon has scored a combined 13 points. He averages 11.8 points per game on the season. His back issue clearly bothered him before he missed two games and he didn't do much better in his return in which he played 27 minutes. Duhon is at best a No. 4 option when healthy but he's struggling right now.
News:Newsday reports Knicks guard Chris Duhon is ready to return Wednesday night against the Nets following his team-ordered two-game break to get his body (stiff back, sore ankle) right. Duhon practiced Tuesday and also participated in the shootaround Wednesday morning.

News: The Bergen County Record reports that Chris Duhon practiced Tuesday after missing the previous two games with his back problems and is expected to play Wedensday against New Jersey.
Analysis: The report went on to add that with Devin Harris likely out for the Nets and the undermanned Kings up Friday, the Knicks could choose to shut Duhon down until at least Saturday in Orlando. For the moment, though, he should be considered probable for Wednesday's game. Duhon's production has slipped in the second half, but he can still be useful as a No. 3 or 4 guard in most standard leagues when healthy enough to play.
News: Knicks PG Chris Duhon missed his second straight game on Sunday against the Cavs. Duhon has been bothered by a bad back and ankle, and he's been ineffective too. Coach Mike D'Antoni said Friday that Duhon has been "running in mud" and needs to be shut down for two or three days. The timetable for Duhon's return has him questionable for Wednesday's game against the Nets.
Analysis: D'Antoni had resisted benching Duhon in favor of streaking Nate Robinson, whom he prefers as a reserve, but this move gave him a chance to make the lineup switch. Duhon had 18 points and 13 turnovers in the last four games. For now, keep Duhon reserved in all leagues. He will be a risky play for Week 21, but should be available for all three games.
News: The New York Knicks held struggling and hurting point guard Chris Duhon out of their game at Minnesota Friday. Duhon has been bothered by a bad back and ankle, and he's been ineffective too. Coach Mike D'Antoni said Friday that Duhon has been "running in mud" and needs to be shut down for two or three days. He'll likely miss Sunday's game at conference-leading Cleveland, too.
Analysis: D'Antoni had resisted benching Duhon in favor of streaking Nate Robinson, whom he prefers as a reserve, but this move gave him a chance to make the lineup switch. Duhon had 18 points and 13 turnovers in the last four games. Robinson scored 30 points or more in the previous two games, plus seven of the last 13. For now, keep Duhon reserved in all leagues. He will be a risky play for Week 21, but should be available for all three games.
News:Newsday reports the Knicks might consider benching guard Chris Duhon in favor of Nate Robinson with Duhon dealing with a variety of injuries. His back is the latest thing bothering him and could keep him out Friday against Minnesota. "Chris is really struggling physically," coach Mike D'Antoni said of Duhon. "You can see his back and his ankle [are hurting] ... He probably should have told me he wasn't feeling well. You could see he had no pop and ... talking to him , it didn't seem like it would be a problem." On Monday, Duhon downplayed the injuries - a sore back and ankle - and said rest was what he needed most. "That happens with everybody in an NBA season," he said of the fatigue. "I just have to play through it."
Analysis: It sounds like Duhon will play against Minnesota, but he's not going to be at 100 percent. For now, keep Duhon reserved in all leagues and hope his injuries can heal without costing him playing time or production. When healthy, Duhon is a No. 4 Fantasy guard.
News: The New York Post reports Knicks guard Chris Duhon played just 22 minutes Wednesday against Detroit and sat the fourth quarter because of back soreness. "He's struggling physically. He had no pop," coach Mike D'Antoni said. Duhon said he would try to play Friday at Minnesota. Duhon finished Wednesday with two points, four assists and one steal.
Analysis: Duhon has struggled recently, and his back could be the reason why. It sounds like Duhon will play against the Timber Wolves, but you might want to keep him reserved in daily leagues to be safe since he's not at 100 percent.
News: For the second game in a row, Knicks G Chris Duhon was unable to reach double digits in scoring, putting in only 11 points combined in his last two games. On Sunday against the Nets he scored only six points and on Saturday against Charlotte he put in only five. He is 4-for-9 in his last two games with nine total assists and three rebounds.
Analysis: Duhon has simply not taken many shots and hasn't gotten to the line the past two games. He's played a normal amount of minutes but just hasn't been a featured scorer. He also turned the ball over six times on Sunday and is in a bit of a funk. He remains only a No. 3 option at the moment.
News: Knicks G Chris Duhon had 14 points with five assists and two rebounds in Wednesday's game against Atlanta. However, he turned the ball over four times and is averaging 4.2 turnovers over his last five games.
Analysis: Duhon is killing Fantasy owners in category-based leagues with his turnovers lately. He averaged 3.3 per game in February and has had four or more in five of his last six games. He is providing good assist totals, but Fantasy owners will have to weigh their options with him if they can't afford to keep taking the hit in turnovers. In Head-to-Head leagues, though, his value remains that of a No. 3 guard.
News: Knicks G Chris Duhon had 17 points with seven assists in Sunday's game at Toronto. He also made four threes. Duhon is averaging 12.3 points and 7.3 assists over his last five games.

News:Newsday reports Knicks guard Chris Duhon, who missed the last game before the All-Star break against the Clippers with an ankle sprain, practiced Monday and is expected to play Tuesday night against San Antonio.
Analysis: Duhon should remain active in all leagues for this scoring period. He is a No. 3 Fantasy guard when healthy and should be fine after getting some time off to rest.
News: Knicks PG Chris Duhon missed Wednesday's game in Los Angeles against the Clippers. Duhon, arguably the team's most important player, is out with a sprained left ankle. He injured the ankle Sunday and will have an MRI on Thursday.
Analysis: Duhon is averaging 11 points, eight dimes and almost two threes per game over his last five. Those numbers are actually below his season averages as he's become a must-start Fantasy point guard across the board this season for New York. There is the definite possibility that Duhon could be out for an extended period of time if the MRI ends up showing bad news. Check back to see the extent but he should definitely be left inactive until at least after the All-Star break.
News: Knicks point guard Chris Duhon sprained his left ankle Tuesday at Golden State. Duhon finished with 13 points and nine assists in 31 minutes.
Analysis: Duhon could miss Wednesday's game against the Clippers since it's the Knicks last game before the All-Star break. Keep an eye on what develops, but the safe option in daily leagues is to keep Duhon reserved.
News: Knicks PG Chris Duhon overcame the flu to play in Wednesday's loss to the Cavs. Duhon didn't shoot very well at 2-of-8 and was under double digits in scoring for the second straight game with eight points. He added five rebounds and five assists.
Analysis: Duhon was off the last two games but should bounce back once his health clears up. He's still averaging 11-3-9 over his last five games with over a three per night and that makes him a worthy start at all times in all Fantasy leagues.
News: Knicks guard Chris Duhon (flu-like symptoms) didn't practice Tuesday but is probable for Wednesday night's game against Cleveland, reports Newsday.
Analysis: It seems like half the NBA is dealing with the flu. It's a good sign that Duhon is expected to play against Cleveland, and consider him a safe start. When healthy, Duhon is a low-end No. 2 Fantasy option in all scoring formats.
News: New York point guard Chris Duhon picked up his second straight double-double on Wednesday in a big win over Atlanta. Duhon scored 16 points and dished out 11 dimes. He nailed two threes and shot 6-of-11 from the field.
Analysis: Duhon is averaging 16-4-8 over his last five contests with a steal and over two threes per night. That is solid contribution from the Knicks point guard and he's one of the most consistent guards in Fantasy. He's a No. 2 Fantasy PG on most occasions and is playing like one right now.
News: Knicks PG Chris Duhon is playing pretty well over his last four games for the Knicks. On Saturday night against the 76ers, Duhon scored 18 points and dished out five assists. He added four threes and four rebounds.

News: Knicks PG Chris Duhon did, indeed, play as expected in Wednesday's game against the Phoenix Suns. Duhon did not practice on Tuesday to keep his sore back as fresh as possible for Wednesday's game. "He won't practice on the days off, try to get his back well-rested," said coach Mike D'Antoni. Duhon played well on Wednesday with 19 points on 5-of-12 shooting and seven assists. He also picked up six rebounds.
Analysis: Duhon appears to be taking every measure possible to keep the back spasms from being a significant injury. Fantasy owners should expect him to remain in the lineup for the time being, but his ailment is something to monitor. He's a No. 2 Fantasy PG when completely healthy, which right now he is not.
News: The New York Post reports that Chris Duhon did not practice Tuesday to keep his sore back as fresh as possible for Wednesday's game against San Antonio. "He won't practice on the days off, try to get his back well-rested," said coach Mike D'Antoni.
Analysis: The report added that Duhon is expected to play Wednesday night against San Antonio. So this sounds like it will be the way that the Knicks will deal with Duhon's back for now. As long as it keeps him in the lineup, Fantasy owners should keep him active in Fantasy.
News:New York Newsday is reporting that Knicks G Chris Duhon is likely to miss practice Tuesday to keep him fresh as he is dealing with back spasms since the second half of Saturday's game against Phoenix. He decided not to the inauguration of President Barack Obama on Tuesday in order to avoid having any issues with the back. "I decided not to go," he said. "I want to do some stuff for my back and it's going to be a little crazy out there. We have a game the next day, so I want to make sure we don't have any episodes like I've had in the past with the back."
Analysis: Duhon appears to be taking every measure possible to keep the back spasms from being a significant injury. It did not limit his production any when he had 19 points, five rebounds and three assists Monday against the Bulls.

Analysis: Head coach Mike D'Antoni says he played through back stiffness earlier this season and it certainly doesn't seem to have impacted his production much. The Knicks do not seem to be too worried about it and the Knicks are slated for four games in Fantasy Week 13 (Jan. 19-25). Fantasy owners should continue to view him as a No. 2 guard.
News:New York Newsday is reporting that Chris Duhon missed practice Sunday with back spasms. He reportedly started to have an issue with the spasms late in Saturday's game against Phoenix. Duhon is still expected to play Monday afternoon against Chicago, however.

News: Knicks PG Chris Duhon only scored five points on Saturday night in a loss to Philadelphia. Duhon did not have his best game as he got only 26 minutes. He was 1-of-3 from the field and added five assists and four rebounds.
Analysis: Duhon is averaging 11 points and seven assists over his last five and that is still worth using as a No. 3 Fantasy guard in most leagues. Still, he has the penchant to go a few games here and there without scoring or doing much at all. You may choose to use him only when the matchups are in his favor. Of course, playing for Mike D'Antoni and New York, he could heat up again shortly.
News: Knicks PG Chris Duhon scored 24 points and had seven dimes in a 99-94 loss to the Mavericks on Thursday. It was Duhon's highest point total in 14 games and only the second time he scored more than 20.
Analysis: This was Duhon's best performance in a month but it unfortunately came in a Knicks losing effort. He is becoming more and more reliable as a stats producer and remains a must-start point guard in most leagues.

Analysis: Duhon is scoring 13.6 points per game over his last five with 7.4 assists and 4.6 boards. The assists are down a bit from his season average but everything else is up and Duhon remains a must-start point guard playing in Mike D'Antoni's system.
News: Knicks PG Chris Duhon continued his strong play at the point for the Knicks on Tuesday night in a win over the Bobcats. Duhon played 40 minutes and scored 15 points with eight assists. He added four boards and three steals with 3-for-6 from deep.
Analysis: Duhon is nothing but consistent. He's averaging 13 points, 8.2 assists and 2.6 rebounds over his last five games with two threes per night. He steals over one ball per game, hits his free throws and is just a wonderful Fantasy guard. Right now, he looks like a No. 2 Fantasy guard under new coach Mike D'Antoni, so make sure you have him active.

News:The Sports Xchange notes that Knicks G Chris Duhon played all 48 minutes on Sunday against Detroit, which is quite a feat considering he's been slowed recently by a cranky back. "Coach (Mike) Krzyzewski told me that Duhon is one of those athletes that never gets tired," Mike D'Antoni said. "I am going to test that theory to the limit. It was a little bit of a gamble to go with him the whole time, but it kind of worked out." It was the first complete game by a Knicks since Jamal Crawford went the distance on April 4.
Analysis: Duhon is having a breakout season under head coach D'Antoni and he keeps getting better as the season goes on. He is averaging over eight assists per game now and has seen a boost in his scoring since the team traded away Crawford. Start him in any league right now.

Analysis: Duhon is having a breakout season under head coach Mike D'Antoni and he keeps getting better as the season goes on. He is averaging over eight assists per game now and has seen a boost in his scoring since the team traded away Jamal Crawford. Start him in any league right now.

Analysis: Duhon had a team-record 22 assists in a shootout against the Warriors on Saturday and is averaging 8.5 on the season. His move to the Knicks and Mike D'Antoni's offense has made him a Fantasy-relevant guard and maybe even a No. 2 option in leagues that award two points per assist.
News: Knicks G Chris Duhon recorded a team-record 22 assists in Saturday's 138-125 game against the Warriors. He is averaging 10.4 assists over his last five games.

News: Knicks G Chris Duhon scored 16 points and added 12 assists in Friday's game against Dallas. He played 47 minutes in the overtime contest. The 12 assists tied a season high.
Analysis: Duhon has been over 10 assists just the two times this season. But Duhon has at least seven dimes in each of his last six games and at least six assists in his last seven games. He is getting better as the season goes on and is in a position to be a real second-half sleeper.
News: Knicks G Chris Duhon had a season-high 12 assists Friday at Washington, but he scored just six points off two three pointers in 36 minutes. He added seven rebounds.
Analysis: Duhon is averaging a 6-6-4 line so far this season, which is less than we expected from a point guard in a Mike D'Antoni offense. He is still worth owning in leagues of 12-plus teams, but is a spot starter at best in Fantasy for weeks with favorable matchups.
News: Knicks G Chris Duhon had six points, three rebounds and three assists in Sunday's game against Milwaukee. He totaled 20 points, 13 assists, 12 rebounds and four steals in three games during Fantasy Week 1 (Oct. 27-Nov. 2). The Knicks play three games in Fantasy Week 2 (Nov. 3-9) against Charlotte, Washington and Utah.
Analysis: Duhon has not gotten off to the greatest of starts, but he has been getting around 35 minutes per game and should continue to see a lot of playing time. He is a matchup guard in Fantasy at this stage and is best kept for weeks in which the Knicks face favorable matchups or four-game schedules.
News: The Knicks will play three games in Fantasy Week 1 (Oct. 27-Nov. 2). They play at home against Miami, at Philadelphia and against Milwaukee. Miami allowed 100.0 points per game last season. Philadelphia allowed 96.2 ppg and Milwauke gave up 103.9 ppg.
Analysis: The Knicks will begin the season against an undersized Heat team that will be starting either Mark Blount or Udonis Haslem at center. That should bode well for Zach Randolph and David Lee in the low post. Chris Duhon will likely be matched up against Chris Quinn in the opener before moving on to face some stiffer competition against Andre Miller and Mo Williams. Jamal Crawford will go up against Dwyane Wade, Andre Iguodala and Sasha Pavlovic. He struggled through most of the preseason, but finished by scoring 30 points against the Nets Friday and looks ready to go. Quentin Richardson will go against Shawn Marion, Thaddeus Young and Richard Jefferson, making this a tough week for him. Consider reserving him for now to see if he can prove productive under Mike D'Antoni's system again. The same goes for Stephon Marbury, who will play off the bench.
News: Knicks G Chris Duhon seems to be fitting into new coach Mike D'Antoni's system well. He had 10 points, seven assists, six rebounds and three steals in 25 minutes of action during Monday's preseason win over New Jersey. He shot 4-for-9 from the field and 1-for-3 from beyond the arc.
Analysis: Duhon has some sleeper value in Fantasy merely because he's currently the starting point guard for a Mike D'Antoni coached team. He's had some struggles in the past as a starter in Chicago at times, but seems to be a good fit in a rhythmically flowing offensive scheme now in New York. He knows his role and isn't going to look to score much, but should still get in double figures by default because he'll get good minutes. His value will come in the rise in assists he'll see and because he can be had in Fantasy for a very cheap price.
News: Knicks G Chris Duhon started and played 24 minutes in Friday's preseason game at Boston. He finished with 10 points, three assists and three rebounds. Stephon Marbury played 19 minutes off the bench and contributed 12 points, two rebounds and an assist.
Analysis: Duhon is still the team's starter going into the season. But the fact that Marbury is looming over his shoulder will be an uncomfortable situation heading into the season. Duhon has some sleeper potential in the late rounds as the starting point guard for a Mike D'Antoni coached teams. D'Antoni did wonders for a guy named Steve Nash.
News: The New York Knicks have signed Chris Duhon, giving them another option at point guard if they part ways with Stephon Marbury. Duhon spent his first four years with the Chicago Bulls, averaging a career-low 5.8 points last season.
Analysis: Duhon was not re-signed by the Bulls, who needed to clear room in their backcourt after drafting point guard Derrick Rose with the No. 1 pick. He could become an immediate starter in New York. Marbury has a year and more than $21 million left on his contract, but ankle surgery cut short the worst season of his career and the Knicks might prefer to move on without him. Fantasy owners should keep this in mind even if he does find himself ample playing time in the future as he's clearly not a player that can be productive statistically even when seeing regular minutes. He got a chance to be a regular in the starting lineup for the Bulls last season, but had to be replaced due to his overall inefficiency. As a starter, he averaged only 6.5 points and 5.7 assists despite averaging 30.2 minutes.
News:Chris Duhon verbally agreed to a deal with the New York Knicks on Friday, the point guard and his agent told The Sporting News. "Chris could have shopped himself around more, but in the end, he wanted a fit where he felt comfortable and he knew what kind of opportunity he would be getting," Duhon's agent, Kevin Bradbury said. "He wasn't worried about trying to find more money on the market or anything like that. He wanted the right situation, and this just felt like the right situation."
Analysis: Free agents can begin signing July 9, but they can reach oral agreements earlier. Duhon averaged a career-low 5.8 points during the 2007-08 regular season. He appeared in a career-low 66 games and started only 18 of them. As a starter, he averaged only 6.5 points and 5.7 assists despite averaging 30.2 minutes. He got a chance to be a regular in the starting lineup for the Bulls last season, but had to be replaced due to his overall inefficiency. Fantasy owners should keep this in mind even if he does find himself ample playing time in the future as he's clearly not a player that can be productive statistically even when seeing regular minutes.
News: Free-agent point guard Chris Duhon could finalize contract terms with the Orlando Magic by the end of the week after spending Wednesday with coaches, players and General Manager Otis Smith. News: Bulls guard Chris Duhon had 22 points, 15 assists and three rebounds Monday at Milwaukee in 30 minutes. He outplayed starter Kirk Hinrich, who had three points and six assists in 18 minutes.
Analysis: Duhon has minimal Fantasy value at this time and probably won't return to Chicago next season. Hinrich will remain the starter, but this has been a down year for him. Look for Hinrich to bounce back next year with a more stable environment with the Bulls.

News: Bulls G Chris Duhon didn't make the trip to New Orleans because of flulike symptoms, but could return to the team for a shootaround Tuesday when the Bulls return to Chicago. Duhon has been in some hot water recently after his comments concerning his sleeping through the Bulls' shootaround Sunday. This coming after Duhon never played in the Bulls' last three games.
Analysis: Keep Duhon reserved in all Fantasy leagues at this time. Even when healthy, he is not a valuable commodity in most Fantasy formats.
News: Bulls guard Chris Duhon didn't practice Sunday and team physicians recommended he not travel to New Orleans for Monday's game, according to the Chicago Tribune. Coach Jim Boylan said Duhon has a virus. Boylan said Duhon would rejoin the team at Tuesday's shootaround.

News: As punishment for missing the Bulls' shootaround on Sunday morning, Bulls coach Jim Boylan fined Chris Duhon and held him out of the game against the Detroit Pistons Sunday, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. Duhon traveled to the Duke-North Carolina game Saturday and says that he missed his wake-up call on Sunday.
Analysis: There seems to be a little bit of a problem brewing with Duhon and the Bulls. When asked how he felt about the suspension, he answered with a bit of a shot at the head coach. "Usually, I don't play anyway, so it doesn't have that much of an effect on me." Well, he does have a point there. Fantasy owners should make like Jim Boylan and sit Duhon.
News: Detroit's Rasheed Wallace and Chicago's Chris Duhon both missed Sunday's game between the Pistons and Bulls. Duhon was disciplined for missing a team workout Sunday morning in Auburn Hills. "Chris did miss shootaround this morning," confirmed Bulls coach Jim Boylan. "He will be in uniform, but I will not play him."
Analysis: Duhon was a valuable part of the Bulls' rotation when Luol Deng and Ben Gordon were injured. However, as soon as both players returned and Larry Hughes arrived via a trade, Duhon was back on the bench. He has little to no Fantasy value at this time.
News: Bulls guard Chris Duhon was the first casualty of the Bulls' new crowded backcourt. After starting 18 games recently, he didn't play at all in Sunday's loss to Houston.
Analysis: Don't expect much from Duhon going forward as long as all the Bulls remain healthy. It's safe to release Duhon in all Fantasy leagues at this time.
News:The Sports Xchange reports Bulls PG Chris Duhon remained in the starting lineup Tuesday against the Hornets even though Kirk Hinrich returned from a rib injury. Duhon played 31 minutes, finishing with five points and five assists.
Analysis: Duhon remained in the lineup as Ben Gordon continues to sit out with a wrist injury. Duhon had a big-time performance on Feb. 7 when he dropped 34 points on the Warriors. Fantasy owners shouldn't get ahead of themselves. Duhon is merely a stopgap Fantasy option until the Bulls are healthy.
News: One game after scoring a career-high 34 points, Bulls PG Chris Duhon put together a solid all-around stat line Saturday at Utah. He finished with 11 points, four rebounds and eight assists. He also had four steals.
Analysis: Duhon is probably earning points with the Bulls coaching staff with his recent play, but expect him to go back to the bench once Kirk Hinrich returns from his injury. In his normal role, Duhon doesn't have much Fantasy value.
News:Chris Duhon scored a career-high 34 points in Thursday's win at Golden State. "I took open shots, got my rhythm, and they continued to keep falling," Duhon said. "Being the only guard tonight, it gives you extra confidence knowing that you could be a little bit more aggressive. Even if you miss a few shots and make a couple of mistakes, Coach is going to continue to keep playing you, so you just play a little bit more loose and don't play mind games with yourself."
Analysis: Due to a rash of injuries for the Bulls, Duhon was the only true guard in Chicago's eight-man rotation Thursday. Apparently, if Duhon was the last man alive, he'd be Michael Jordan. Unfortunately, the Bulls are only going to get healthier and Duhon will be reduced to being a very poor Fantasy option very soon.
News: Bulls starting guard Kirk Hinrich was not in the lineup for Chicago's game Wednesday night against the Trail Blazers because of bruised ribs. Hinrich, averaging 13 points, six assists and 3.5 rebounds, injured his ribs in Chicago's 118-108 victory at Seattle on Monday night. Chris Duhon started in his place and finished with nine points and nine assists.
Analysis: Hinrich is merely day to day at this juncture and Duhon is by no means on the way to more starts. When he got a chance to start at shooting guard, he failed miserably and has been replaced in the rotation by Thabo Sefolosha for the most part.
News: Bulls G Chris Duhon, who struggled off and on in January with a knee injury, played his second game in a row Saturday at Sacramento after missing three of the previous five. He finished with four points, three rebounds and three assists in 18 minutes off the bench.
Analysis: Duhon lost his starting job to Thabo Sefolosha in his absence, but he never did anything Fantasy-worthy with it anyway. Leave the low-stat man on waivers in Fantasy.
News: Bulls point guard Chris Duhon was back on the sideline Monday after deciding he needed more time to recover from a bruised left knee, according to the Chicago Daily Herald. Duhon suffered the injury on Jan. 19 against Detroit, missed two games, then played in the last two. "I knew he was in a lot of pain," coach Jim Boylan said. "He was getting some (pain-killing) shots in order to be able to play. I was hoping it wouldn't happen, but you could kind of see it. He missed a couple layups (Sunday against Phoenix). He didn't have the explosion he needs to finish around the basket. He tried. We all appreciate that."
Analysis: Duhon isn't a major Fantasy contributor, in fact, he's barely a minor one. But with all the injuries the Bulls have had, he was going to have a chance to contribute. That no longer applies. Keep Duhon reserved in all Fantasy leagues until further notice.
News:Chris Duhon returned earlier than expected from his badly bruised left knee to play 13 minutes Friday night and 32 Sunday afternoon. The Chicago Tribune reports he'll take some time off in an attempt to properly heal. "I'm shutting it down for at least a couple of games," Duhon said. "I'm hurting the team because I'm not as explosive as I can be."

News: Bulls G Chris Duhon had just five points, three assists and a rebound in Sunday afternoon's loss to Phoenix. He played 32 minutes off the bench.
Analysis: Duhon has been replaced in the starting lineup -- at least for now -- by Thabo Sefolosha. That's OK, though, because he wasn't very productive in Fantasy even as a starter.
News: Bulls G Chris Duhon, who aimed to come back Sunday from a sprained knee, instead returned Friday against the Bobcats. He played 13 minutes off the bench, scoring three points, grabbing one rebound and dishing out two assists.

News: According to the Chicago Daily Herald, Chris Duhon will start at shooting guard for the Bulls, with Ben Gordon moving back to the bench.
Analysis: Duhon is a point guard by nature, and here's guessing he doesn't play much more than the 21.5 minutes per game he's averaged to this point. Duhon's Fantasy value ups slightly with the increased opportunity, but expect Gordon to remain the Bulls' true shooting guard even if he doesn't start.
News: Bulls G Chris Duhon has scored a combined 11 points over his last three games. He had scored exactly 12 points in his previous three games.

News: Bulls PG Chris Duhon scored a season-high 11 points and dished out a season-best seven assists in Chicago's 90-78 win over the Hawks on Tuesday night.
Analysis: Duhon was getting some nice minutes earlier this season, but wasn't getting himself enough looks at the hoop and when he did, he wasn't knocking down his shots. Scott Skiles cut his minutes as a result and he really isn't making enough of an impact in games yet to be worthy of any Fantasy consideration.
News: Bulls backup PG Chris Duhon scored four points in 18 minutes of action Thursday at Phoenix. He added four assists and four rebounds with two steals.

Analysis: Head coach Scott Skiles said he has just been giving rookie guard Thabo Sefolosha an extended look. "There was no intention of not playing [Duhon on Tuesday]," Skiles said. "It was just Thabo was doing OK. This has happened to us a bunch of times this year. You get into a scenario where it appears we're going to win the game. Then, do you bring guys in for two minutes, four minutes? I don't like to do that -- to veteran guys anyway." Duhon should be reserved until further notice and Thabo is worth picking up in leagues of 12-plus teams as a possible short-term replacement option.
News: Bulls G Chris Duhon, who has been in a terrible shooting slump, sat out the past two games by coach's decision. Since Dec. 30, he has hit 9-of-53 shots from the field (17.0 percent) and just 2-of-30 attempts from three-point range. Coach Scott Skiles said Tuesday some time off might help Duhon regroup, and he also wanted to see more of rookie Thabo Sefolosha. "At some point I've got to find out if (Sefolosha) can be a factor this season for us," Skiles said. "We can use his length in the backcourt. There's no question I think that long-term, Thabo's going to be a good NBA player, but I need to find out in the heat of battle if he can do it this year."
Analysis: Duhon does Fantasy owners no good on sitting on the bench and it is probably best that he be cut in all Fantasy formats.
News: Bulls guard Chris Duhon sat out Monday's loss to Indiana two nights after he didn't record a single statistic during 10 minutes of action in a loss to Utah. Duhon has been in a miserable shooting slump. Since Dec. 30, he has hit nine of 53 shots from the field (17.0 percent) and just two of 30 attempts from three-point range. "Maybe he needs to regroup a little bit," coach Scott Skiles said. "He's struggled lately and sometimes with a night like this, you can regroup a little bit. "The team expects you to be there and you are not there, so you have to man up and take full responsibility of it and make sure it doesn't happen again."
Analysis: Duhon is averaging 6.9 points and 4.6 assists in 30 starts this season, but his recent shooting slump has put his starting guard job in doubt. If he takes a seat on the bench, his Fantasy value will take a major hit.
News: Coach Scott Skiles suggested he may shake up the starting lineup if point guard Chris Duhon's shooting slump continues. Duhon has hit 7-of-44 shots in the last seven games, while going 1-for-25 from 3-point range. His sure-handed ball control has kept him on the floor so far. Duhon ranks third in the NBA in assist-to-turnover ratio at 3.42. "We're a team that's become, recently anyway, a high turnover team," Skiles said. "His assist-to-turnover ratio is very high in the league, so we value that. It's a good question. Ben (Gordon) has already proven he can start and be productive. He was last year."
Analysis: Duhon is a talented young guard, but is far too inconsistent to rely on as anything more than a No. 4 Fantasy guard at the moment. If he takes a seat on the bench, his Fantasy value will take a major hit.

But he earned praise from coach Scott Skiles for his defensive efforts and overall steady play. "He's been playing great," Skiles said. "We feel like he's on kind of a three-week time frame where he's been outstanding. He's playing great defense every night. He's running the team and he's making enough of his open shots. He's at 45 percent (shooting), so I think he's been great."

News: The Bulls bench will consist of G Chris Duhon, G Thabo Sefolosha, G Andre Barrett, G Adrian Griffin, F Andres Nocioni, forward Tyrus Thomas, forward Viktor Khryapa, forward Malik Allen, center Michael Sweetney, center Luke Schenscher and center Martynas Andriuskevicius to start the season.
Analysis: Duhon is a player with a lot of upside, but has been unable to turn that into statistical success at this stage of his career. We think Nocioni will be a breakout player that could be selected in the early rounds come 2007. As for the rest of these players, the key will be to monitor the rotation the Bulls use in the early going. With so many viable options to go to, we fear that they may cancel each other out.
