News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova told Fox Sports that he will take a few months to rest his ailing wrist before heading over seas to play in the European Championships in Turkey. Ilyasova, who hurt his wrist late in the regular season, admitted that his injury really hampered his production during Milwaukee's first-round playoff loss to the Heat. He averaged 11.3 points and 7.8 rebounds in Miami's four-game sweep of the Bucks.
Analysis: Ilyasova received a ton of hype last offseason as most were expecting big things from the 25-year-old in the 2012-13. However, he got off to a dreadful start as he averaged just 11.2 points and 6.2 rebounds over his first 49 games and was even moved back to the bench during that stretch. Luckily for Fantasy owners, Ilyasova was able to turn things around in the second half as put up 17.2 points, 9.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists over his last 24 games on 48.7 percent shooting from the field and 44.9 percent from behind the arc. Ilyasova is one of the few Bucks who won't be a free agent this summer, so Fantasy owners should plan on targeting him in the mid-to-late rounds of most formats next year, assuming he is healthy.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova was able to play through a wrist injury in Game 1 of Milwaukee's first-round series against the Heat on Sunday. Ilyasova, who banged his wrist last Monday against the Nuggets, finished with just two points in the 110-87 defeat on 1 of 7 shooting from the field. He also added six rebounds and one steal to his stat line, while logging 28 minutes.
Analysis: Ilyasova said his wrist hurts whenever he shoots the ball and that if this was the regular season, he would not playing. The Bucks need him on the court if they have any chance of upsetting the Heat, but he clearly is not at 100 percent. After getting off to a very slow start this year, Ilyasova finally picked things up over the last few months. He averaged 17.2 points and 9.0 rebounds over his final 24 games and shot 44 percent from downtown over that span. As long as he is healthy, Ilyasova would be worth targeting in the mid-to-late rounds of most formats next year.
News: The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports that Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova missed Wednesday's game against Oklahoma City with a wrist injury. Ilyasova is expected to be ready for the playoffs, but the Bucks didn't want to take any chances with him. The Bucks play at the Heat in Game 1 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Analysis: Ilyasova should be able to play against the Heat, and he is a quality Fantasy option when healthy. Hopefully this wrist injury won't linger, although the Bucks will likely be eliminated by the Heat in Round 1.

He made a career-best 6 treys and also added seven rebounds, one assist and one steal to his stat line, while logging 28 minutes.
Analysis: Ilyasova was a huge disappointment over the first half of the year, but has picked up his play down the stretch. The 25-year-old has averaged 17.3 points and 9.3 rebounds since the All-Star break and he is shooting 48 percent from the field over that span. While he can be extremely frustrating at times, Illyasova should remain active in all formats whenever he is on the court.

Analysis: Ilyasova had been playing well up until the last few games, so some rest might do him good. He is averaging 14.2 points and 9.6 rebounds per game over the last 10, but the Bucks might opt to give him some further time off the down the stretch with a playoff spot locked up. Fantasy owners in daily leagues should keep an eye on his status moving forward.

While it took a lot longer than most owners would have liked, Ilyasova is finally started to perform the way most expected him to at the beginning of the season. Fantasy owners should make sure to get the 25-year-old active over the final few scoring periods of the season.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova returned to action Sunday against the Hawks, despite missing his last three games with hip and back injuries. Ilyasova went 7 of 16 shooting from the field, including 0 of 4 from downtown, and 5 of 8 from the free throw line. He finished with a double-double -- 19 points and 10 boards -- in a 104-99 defeat.
Analysis: Ilyasova was able to log 28 minutes of game action Sunday as he appears to be healthy enough to go in Week 22 (March 25-31), which is encouraging for Fantasy owners moving forward. He is roughly averaging 13 points and seven rebounds this season and should be viewed as a quality option in the majority of Fantasy formats down the final stretch of the season.

News: Milwaukee power forward Ersan Ilyasova (hip, back) is out again on Wednesday in Atlanta, reports the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. He's missed the last two games and is considered day to day.
Analysis: Ilyasova was considered doubtful to play on Wednesday so his absence comes as no surprise. He'd been playing extremely well with three consecutive 20-point efforts with double figures in rebounds in those contests prior to suffering the injury. Hopefully he can get back at it soon because he can be an important Fantasy option in most formats down the stretch.
News: Milwaukee forward Ersan Ilyasova was ruled out for Tuesday's contest against the Magic due to a hip and back injury, reports the team's official website. Ilyasova is dealing with a sore back and hip that he aggravated while diving for a loose ball during the final moments of Milwaukee's win over the Magic on Sunday. He is being listed as day to day. Hes banged up pretty good, coach Jim Boylan told the team's official website. Hes still got some swelling in his hip and hes been getting treatment. Well see where he is, but hes doubtful for tomorrow. Hell probably stay behind and get some more treatment and maybe he can come down to Indiana (Friday).
Analysis: Ilyasova missed two games earlier this month due to a bone bruise in his left knee and it sounds like he will miss at least two of Milwaukee's four scheduled games during Week 21 (March 18-24). This would be a huge blow to Fantasy owners as the 25-year-old is averaging 18.8 points and 9.6 rebounds over his last five games. Keep an eye on his status moving forward. Ilyasova has more than made up for his slow start this season and can be considered a viable start in all formats when healthy.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova is being considered doubtful for Tuesday's contest against the Trail Blazers due to a back and hip injury. Ilyasova, who has been dealing a sore back and hip, aggravated his injuries while diving for a loose ball in the final moments of Milwaukee's win over the Magic on Sunday. He was unable to practice Monday. "His back has been bothering him a little bit, and then his hip when he dove for that ball out of bounds. He landed on his hip so that kind of added to the general discomfort in the back-hip area. We'll hope for the best, but the fact he wasn't able to come here today or was uncomfortable today is obviously a concern," interim coach Jim Boylan told the Journal Sentinel.
Analysis: Ilyasova already missed two games earlier this month due to a bone bruise in his left knee and it sounds like he could miss even more time now with his latest ailments. Milwaukee is scheduled to play four times during Week 21 (March 18-24), so Ilaysova could still end up suiting up for two of three games, assuming his injury is not that serious. Still, he will now be considered an injury risk heading into the upcoming scoring period, meaning owners will have to make a tough call on whether to get him active or not. Ilyasova is averaging 18.8 points and 9.6 rebounds over his last five games and can be considered a viable start in all formats when healthy.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova was able to get back on the floor Tuesday against the Mavericks, after missing the previous two games with a bone bruise in his left knee. Ilyasova had a poor performance in the game, scoring just seven points on 3 of 9 shooting; it was just the third time in 10 games he has been held to single figures in scoring. Ilyasova had a quiet night on the boards as well, grabbing just three rebounds. He added two assists and three steals in 23 minutes in a 115-108 loss.
Analysis: It is not clear whether Ilyasova was limited by the injury, or if his minutes were down because of his struggles, but he team does not seem to believe his knee injury will linger. Ilyasova was averaging 17.3 points and 8.4 rebounds per game in his previous eight contests, so hopefully this injury does not end up derailing him. He has emerged once again as a viable Fantasy option in all formats, and deserves to be active in most leagues at this point.
News: After sitting out two straight games with a bone bruise in his left knee, Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova is expected to play Tuesday against the Mavericks. It is not clear when Ilyasova suffered the injury, but it was not considered serious, so it is not much of a surprise to see him active.
Analysis: Ilyasova has recovered from a rough start, averaging 16.4 points and 7.8 rebounds per game over the last 10 games, so it is good to see him back in the lineup. Fantasy owners should feel comfortable getting Ilyasova back in their starting lineups, as he remains a solid starting option in all formats.
News: As expected, Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova was ruled out of Sunday's contest against the Kings as he continues to deal with a bone bruise in his left knee. Ilyasova has missed the last two games with the injury. Mike Dunleavy is expected to start in his place.
Analysis: At this point, it is uncertain when Ilyasova actually suffered the injury, but he has now missed the last two games, which puts him in danger of missing some time in Week 21 (March 11-17). We'll continue to keep an eye on his status moving forward. The 25-year-old is living up to expectations recently, averaging 16.4 points and 7.8 rebounds per game over the last 10 games. He should be viewed as a viable starting option in all formats, when healthy.

The 25-year-old is living up to expectations recently, averaging 16.4 points and 7.8 rebounds per game over the last 10, so we will obviously keep a close eye on his status moving forward. At this point, he remains worth starting in all formats, when healthy.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova was held out of practice on Friday due to a bone bruise on his left knee, reports the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. According to the report, Ilyasova was limited to riding a stationary bike while the rest of his teammates scrimmaged. He will be re-evaluated Saturday morning.
Analysis: The report did not say when Ilyasova sustained the injury, but it likely happened during Milwaukee's loss to the Clippers last Wednesday. As always, we will continue to bring owners the latest details regarding Ilyasova's status moving forward. The 25-year-old is finally starting to perform up to the lofty expectations that were bestowed on him prior to the season as he is averaging 16.4 points and 7.8 rebounds over his last 10 contests. Ilyasova can be considered a viable start in all formats when he is healthy and going well.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova reached double-figures in scoring for the ninth time in 11 February games Tuesday against the Mavericks. Ilyasova struggled with his shot a bit, going 3 of 9 from the floor, however he added one three-pointer as well as a 3 for 4 showing at the free-throw line to get to 10 points in 29 minutes. He also snagged seven rebounds in a 95-90 win.
Analysis: Ilyasova has done a great job righting the ship after a slow start, averaging 14.6 points and 7.4 rebounds per game in the month of February. Considering Ilyasova began the season by scoring 6.7 points per game on 34.9 percent shooting in he month of November, he is right where we hoped he would be after his breakout a year ago. The Bucks have made some moves to get closer to clinching a playoff spot, but it looks like Ilyasova is going to have a consistent spot in the rotation moving forward. He should be active in most Fantasy formats moving forward.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova turned in another solid performance during Tuesday's contest against the Nets. Ilyasova went 9 of 16 shooting from the field, including 2 of 5 from beyond the arc, and 1 of 2 from the free throw line as he nearly picked up a double-double. He finished with 21 points and nine rebounds in a 113-111 overtime defeat. He also chipped in with three assists, a blocked shot and a steal while logging 44 minutes of game action.
Analysis: Ilyasova continues to pick it up as of late and has scored in double digits in 11 of the past 14 games played while averaging 17.8 points and 7.8 rebounds per game over that span. He has been been one of the biggest surprises in Fantasy since January and may earn a bigger role on offense if the team ships away Brandon Jennings or Monte Ellis at the trade deadline. We'll continue to keep an eye on their statuses leading up to Thursday's deadline. As long as he keeps scoring, Ilyasova gives Fantasy owners consistent rebounding and 3-point shooting for a lower-end option. Fantasy owners should consider him as a solid option in the majority of formats moving forward.
News: Milwaukee forward Ersan Ilyasova had a big performance in a losing effort on Monday night against Washington. The small forward played 34 minutes in the game and went 8 of 17 from the field with a 3-pointer to score 19 points. He just missed a double-double with nine rebounds as the Bucks lost by 12 points. Ilyasova added four assists, three steals and two blocks in the complete statistical line.
Analysis: Ilyasova has been very consistent over his last five games as he's averaging 14.6 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.4 3-pointers per game over that span. As long as he keeps scoring, Ilyasova gives Fantasy owners consistent rebounding and 3-point shooting for a lower-end option. He can be active in plenty of formats at the moment.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova had his worst scoring performance since Jan. 17 on Tuesday night against the Nuggets. He finished with just six points on 3-of-6 shooting in the 112-104 loss. He missed both of his attempt from beyond the arc while playing 24 minutes. Ilyasova also posted four rebounds and two assists in the defeat.
Analysis: Ilyasova had scored in double figures in each of the previous three games but did not take a ton of shots Tuesday. He is averaging 13.6 points with 5.4 rebounds and 1.2 steals in the last five contest on 46 percent shooting so owners should not worry about him much. The 25-year-old has found some consistency over the last month or so and remains a solid option in the majority of Fantasy formats.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova scored just nine points with one rebound his last time out but was able to get back on track Wednesday night against the Bulls. He led Milwaukee with 18 points and hauled in seven rebounds in the 104-88 loss. He went 6 for 18 from the field, including 2 for 3 from downtown, and made 4 of 6 free throws. Ilyasova, who played 39 minutes, also blocked a shot in the defeat.
Analysis: Ilyasova has been playing some of his best ball of the season recently and is starting to look like a reliable option in Fantasy. He is averaging 21.5 points with 9.5 rebounds in the previous five contests and has found his stroke again, especially from beyond the arc. The 25-year-old can help owners out in many ways, especially when he's playing like this, so feel free to get Ilyasova active in most formats.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova registered a season-high 30 points -- 15 off 3-pointers -- and pulled down seven rebounds during Milwaukee's 113-108 loss at Cleveland on Friday night. Ilyasova continued his torrid shooting recently and connected on 11 of 21 from the field, including a sizzling 5 for 6 from long range. He also contributed two assists and a block, but turned the ball over five times, also the most in the game.
Analysis: Ilyasova has been exceptional since new coach Jim Boylan inserted him into the starting lineup and he has now sank at least 10 shots in each of his past three games. In that span, he has averaged a whopping 28.0 points per game to lift his season average back into double figures. If Ilyasova is still available, he's worth scooping up in all Fantasy formats during his strong run as he is a nightly threat for a double-double.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova broke out with another big performance during Tuesday's contest against the 76ers. Ilyasova picked up his second consecutive double-double as he dropped 27 points and grabbed a season-high 16 rebounds in a 110-102 victory. He went 10 of 16 shooting from the field, including 2 of 4 from downtown, and 5 of 6 from the free throw line. He also chipped in with three steals, two assists and a blocked shot while logging 36 minutes of game action.
Analysis: Ilyasova seems to be finally getting his opportunity to produce, much like the coaching staff originally expected. Because of his recent performances, the 25-year-old is starting to earn a bit more playing time. Prior to these last two games, he was averaging just 8.3 points per game on 39.4 percent shooting in the month of January. We will see if Ilyasova can get on a roll moving forward. Fantasy owners should continue to keep him active in all formats as long as he continues to knock down his shots.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova snapped out of a cold spell in a big way Saturday against the Trail Blazers, recording a season high in both points and rebounds in a 110-104 win. Despite playing just 26 minutes, in the game, Ilyasova scored 27 points on 10 of 14 shooting. He made all three of his three-point attempts. He also grabbed 14 rebounds in the game, while dishing out four assists.
Analysis: The coaching staff has preached patience with Ilyasova, and he rewarded them in a big way Saturday. Prior to that game, however, he was averaging just 8.3 points per game on 39.4 percent shooting in the month of January. We will see if this big performance can get Ilyasova going, however he is still more of a low-end Fantasy option until he proves more consistent.
News: Since Jim Boylan reshuffled the rotation after taking over for Scott Skiles as the Bucks' coach last week, several players have experienced a jolt on the court. Atop that list is forward Ersan Ilyasova, who has started every game under Boylan and is averaging 26.5 minutes. During his extended run, he has posted 10.5 points and 5.5 rebounds while building confidence in his shot, especially from long range. "This past summer we made a commitment to Ersan," Boylan told the Journal Sentinel. "We have to make sure we give him the support and the confidence, give him the minutes he deserves."
Analysis: Ilyasova had logged more than 25 minutes only three times in the final 10 games Skiles was on the bench, but has eclipsed that mark in every game under Boylan as the new coach remains a supporter of the big man. After all, the 25-year-old has the ability to hit from downtown (38.2 percent) while also creating shots in the paint. "He's a good player and he just has to relax and play his game. When he does that, he helps us a lot," Boylan said. Ilyasova could begin to rack up more double-doubles with the increased playing time and is considered a useful option in deeper Fantasy formats.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova played well enough to help Milwaukee take down the Raptors in Toronto Sunday. Ilyasova scored nine points on 3 of 6 shooting with a 3-pointer in the game over 26 minutes. He added five rebounds, an assist and a steal in the contest for Milwaukee.
Analysis: Ilyasova has seen a slight increase in scoring of late as he's averaging 10.5 points per game over his last five contests. That is mainly due to the fact that he's hitting the 3-pointer a little more consistently. Ilyasova consistently brings home around six rebounds per game with decent steals figures. He's not an elite option, but as a starter for the Bucks can be active in deeper Fantasy formats.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova was back from a one-game absence due to an ankle injury Tuesday against the Suns, and he was in the starting lineup for the first time since November. New head coach Jim Boylan had Ilyasova in the starting lineup, and he had a strong game, scoring 12 points in 26 minutes. Ilyasova shot 5 of 10 from the field with two three-pointers, while grabbing six rebounds -- four offensive. He dished out for assists and turned the ball over only one time, while adding two steals in a 108-99 win.
Analysis: Ilyasova has been losing playing time recently to rookie John Henson, but it looks like the new coaching staff prefers his brand of floor spacing to Hensons rebound hoarding. Between the Bucks four options in the front court, Ilyasova is the only one who really brings a consistent offensive threat, which may be enough to keep him on the floor consistently moving forward. It remains to be seen how, exactly, the team will split minutes, but Thursday was a positive for Ilyasova owners. If he can get 25-30 minutes per game, Ilyasova can be considered a viable Fantasy option in deeper formats.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova (ankle) returned to practice Monday and is expected to play during Tuesday's game against Phoenix, FOXSportsWisconsin.com reports. Ilyasova missed Milwaukee's last game with a sprained right ankle, but it was not considered a serious issue.
Analysis: With rookie John Henson earning additional minutes, Ilyasova could be squeezed for playing time once he returns to the court. The 25-year-old has hovered around 20-25 minutes recently, but has scored in double-digits just three times over his past 10 games played. Ilyasova is still connecting 41.1 percent from the field this season and represents a viable option in deeper Fantasy formats when healthy.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova was ruled inactive for Saturday's game against the Pacers because of an apparent right ankle, according to the team's official website. Doron Lamb will take his place on the active list.
Analysis: At this point, it is uncertain how long his ankle injury could keep him out for, especially since he appeared to have been fine Friday night against the Rockets. Regardless, we'll continue to keep tabs on his progress moving forward. Ilyasova's production has been a bit inconsistent , averaging 12.2 points and 6.8 rebounds per game over the last five, while shooting a truly ludicrous 77.8 percent from downtown. He is worth owning in most Fantasy formats, when healthy.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova continued his solid shooting run Friday against the Rockets, as he scored 11 points in 23 minutes. He shot 4 of 6 from the field and 2 of 3 from three-point range in the game, while grabbing four rebounds. He also had one assist and one turnover, in a 115-101 loss.
Analysis: Ilyasov a seems to be turning things around recently, though we have said that about him a few times this season. While his production remains inconsistent, Ilyasova is averaging 12.2 points and 6.8 rebounds per game over the last five, while shooting a truly ludicrous 77.8 percent from three-point range. While he is unlikely to remain this hot from three-point range, Ilyasova has proven to be a strong shooter in the past. He has been a disappointment this season, but Ilyasova remains worth owner in most Fantasy formats at this time.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova turned in another underwhelming performance in Milwaukee's overtime win over the Celtics Friday night. Ilyasova finished with eight points in the 99-94 win on 3 of 7 shooting from the field. He went 1 of 3 from downtown and also added five rebounds, two assists and one steal to his stat line while logging 26 minutes of game action.
Analysis: After showing some signs of life last week, Ilyasova's production has fallen back down to earth. The 25-year-old has failed to score in double figures in four of his last five games and is averaging just 6.8 points, 5.0 rebounds over that stretch on 33 percent shooting from the field. Ilyasova is certainly in the running for biggest bust of the season thus far and should only be starting in deeper formats until he picks things back up.
News: Bucks power forward Ersan Ilyasova played well on Wednesday as Milwaukee defeated a short-handed Kings squad. Ilyasova saw 24 minutes on the court and was solid with his shot as he went 7 of 11 with a 3-pointer in his only attempt. He scored 16 points to lead his team in bench scoring and grabbed 14 rebounds with two blocks for the Bucks.
Analysis: Ilyasova has been a major boost in production over his last week of action. He's averaging 13.2 points, 7.2 rebounds and is hitting a 3-pointer per game over his last five contests. Not really getting a boost in minutes over that span, Ilyasova is simply picking up his game. He can be active in plenty of deeper Fantasy formats.
News: Bucks power forward Ersan Ilyasova erupted for a big performance on Wednesday night during a loss at San Antonio. Ilyasova dropped 17 points over 30 minutes off the bench against the Spurs. He shot 7 of 12 from the field and hit a 3-pointer while grabbing five rebounds. Ilyasova added a steal as well.
Analysis: Ilyasova scored 17 points in his previous two games combined and was doing even less than that earlier in the year. He's entered Wednesday averaging fewer than seven points per game. If Ilyasova starts heating up and remains there consistently, he'd be viable in all Fantasy leagues. Otherwise, he's just a low-end option.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova entered Monday's contest against the Bulls averaging just 6.3 points through the first 11 games. He finally showed some left as he scored a season-high 18 points with six rebounds in the 93-92 win. He went 8 for 14 from the floor, including 1 for 5 from downtown, and made his lone free throw. Ilyasova also chipped in with two assists, a steal and a block while playing 22 minutes off the bench.
Analysis: Cach Scott Skiles said over the weekend that doesn't see any benefit in giving forward Ilyasova more minutes to help him work out of his slump and apparently the 25-year-old caught the hint. While it's just one game, his performance gave owners some hope so keep an eye on his progress going forward. Ilyasova proved last season to be a solid option in Fantasy -- especially in Rotisserie formats -- but make sure he proves to be more consistent before getting him active again.
News: Milwaukee coach Scott Skiles doesn't see any benefit in giving forward Ersan Ilyasova more minutes to help him work out of his slump, reports the Racine Journal-Times. Ilyasova played just 17 minutes in his last game Wednesday at Miami as he scored four points on 2 of 7 shooting. Ilyasova is averaging just 6.3 points per game this year.
Analysis: Ilyasova is still averaging over 22 minutes per game on the season but that appears to be dwindling lately. He's struggled this year and if Skiles isn't going to give him added minutes than he's not really going to be viable in any Fantasy formats.
News: Milwaukee forward Ersan Ilyasova's shooting woes continued during Wednesday's contest against the Pacers. Ilyasova made just two of his nine field-goal attempts in the 99-85 win and finished with five points -- his second straight game failing to score in double figures. He went 1 of 2 from the free-throw line and also added four rebounds, one assist and one steal to his stat line, while logging 22 minutes of game action.
Analysis: Ilyasova has been downright dreadful thus far as he is averaging just 6.4 points and 5.3 rebounds thus far. That is a far cry from the 14.5 points and 8.9 rebounds he put up as a starter last season and most thought his production would go up after signing a huge contract in the offseason. The silver lining in all this is the fact that his struggles seem to be the result of a shooting slump, which every player goes through at some point or another during a full NBA season. While Ilyasova is knocking down just 28 percent of his shots from the field, we would expect that number to closer to his career average of 44 percent before too long. Still, at this point, owners may want to leave Ilyasova on the bench until he starts to turn things around.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova struggled with his shot again on Friday night against the Wizards. He went just 4 for 13 from the field to finish with 11 points in the 101-91 win. He went 2 for 6 from beyond the arc and made 1 of 2 free throws while playing 22 minutes. Ilyasova also posted two rebounds and a block in the victory.
Analysis: Ilyasova is shooting just 31 percent (11 for 35) from the floor through four games and is averaging seven points with five rebounds. After a career campaign a year ago and receiving a five-year, $45 million deal in the offseason, owners were hoping for more but keep in mind that it is still early in the season. Keep an eye on his progress going forward as the 25-year-old still has a ton of upside in Fantasy. Until he proves to be more consistent, however, keep Ilyasova reserved in most formats.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova grabbed 11 rebounds Friday in the season-opening win over the Celtics from Boston. Ilyasova shot 3 of 7 from the field to score seven points and chipped in an assist and steal in the game over 25 minutes. Ilyasova hit the only 3-pointer he attempted.
Analysis: Ilyasova is the starting power forward for the Bucks right now and it appears he will continue to put forth solid rebounding efforts for as long as that continues. He won't always score at a high level but he will give Fantasy owners the intangibles. With the promise of seeing 30-plus minutes per night, Ilyasova should be in line for a nice increase in production this year. He can be active in plenty of Fantasy formats.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova looks to have a stronghold on the starting power forward spot for Milwaukee, reports the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Ilyasova, who signed a five-year, $45 million deal with the team over the summer, is averaging 10.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists through five preseason games. "We haven't made a final decision but definitely leaning in the direction of Ersan up front," Skiles said. "We're fortunate enough to have multiple options to choose from (at center and small forward) and we'll just make the best decision we can when the time comes."
Analysis: While Skiles would not officially name Ilyasova his starting power forward, we would be shocked if he is not in the starting lineup on opening night. The Bucks didn't pay him all that money to come off the bench, albeit Skiles can be unpredictable when setting his rotation. Ilyasova averaged 13.0 points and 8.8 rebounds per game in 60 contests but played just 27.6 minutes per contest. However, that number is expected to rise this season along with expectations from Fantasy owners. With the promise of seeing 30-plus minutes per night, Ilyasova should be in line for a nice increase in production this year. Fantasy owners should plan taking the 25-year-old in the middle rounds of most formats on Draft Day.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova opted to stay in Milwaukee by agreeing to a five-year, $45 million deal the team announced Monday. Ilyasova finished second to forward Ryan Anderson in voting for the league's most improved player award after averaging 13 points and 8.8 rebounds in 60 games for the Bucks last season.
Analysis: Ilyasova received interest from as many as 12 team according to some reports and also drew the interest from a few clubs in Europe. However, he decided his heart -- and the money -- were in Milwaukee and he is expected to start next season, despite the Bucks being loaded in the front court. Fantasy owners know how unpredictable coach Scott Skiles can be with his distribution of minutes so it remains uncertain if Illyasova will be able to become more of a 33-35 minute player this year. Still, the power forward from Turkey should once again be counted on to provide low-teens scoring and solid rebounding numbers, making him worthy of a middle-round pick in most formats on Draft Day.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova is an unrestricted free agent this offseason, and FoxSports.com is reporting that he is already receiving interest from as many as 12 teams, despite being more than a month from free agency. Ilyasova is coming off a season in which he posted career highs in pretty much every category and should be one of the most sought-after options on the market, with the report naming the Nets as the frontrunners for the 25-year-old from Turkeys services.
Analysis: Ilyasova averaged 13.0 points and 8.8 rebounds per game in 60 contests, while nearly leading the league in three-point shooting at 45.5 percent. He is likely to see plenty of interest his way after a breakout season, and he may be ready for 35-minutes-plus per game with a new team. He took his rebounding to elite levels last season, and if he can get consistent minutes next season, he might be able to average a double-double or close. His free agency will be something to watch this offseason, and he is worth targeting in the middle rounds on Draft Day.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova has enjoyed facing the Nets this season, so he made sure to play through a right thigh bruise on Saturday night to face one of the teams he plays the best against. And he continued his fine play against the Nets, grabbing 17 boards to go with 17 points on 7 of 13 shooting in just 34 minutes, to key a 106-95 win.
Analysis: Ilyasova had a monstrous, 29-point, 25-rebound game against the Nets earlier in the season, so his 17-17 line on Saturday seems positively unimpressive in comparison. However, Ilyasova did play extremely well in the game despite the injury, and with three games remaining on the schedule, Fantasy owners should consider Ilyasova a solid starting option down the stretch.
News: Just before gametime on Thursday, the Bucks announced that forward Ersan Ilyasova would be inactive for the game against the Pacers, as he is suffering from a right thigh bruise. Ilyasova suffered the injury late in Wednesdays loss to the Wizards. Luc Richard Mbah a Moute will get the start in his place.
Analysis: Ilyasova has been enjoying a breakout season this year, however it has been sidetracked at times by some minor injuries. Still, he is averaging 14.6 points and 8.6 rebounds per game over the last 10, so as soon as he is fit to get on the court, he will remain a viable starting Fantasy option.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova had an excellent performance on Wednesday night in a victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Ilyasova scored 18 points as he went 8 for 13 from the field with a 3-pointer over 38 minutes. The 38 minutes was a team-high for the Bucks in the game. Ilyasova grabbed six rebounds and added two assists and a steal in the solid performance.
Analysis: Ilyasova has been playing extremely well lately for the Bucks with at least 16 points scored in four straight games. In fact, Ilyasova is averaging 18.5 points per game over that stretch to go with 10.8 rebounds, 1.3 3-pointers and almost a block and steal per night. Playing at such a high level right now, Ilyasova can see usage in just about all Fantasy formats.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova was back in the starting lineup for Friday night's contest against the Cavaliers. Ilyasova, who missed Tuesday's contest against the Hawks with back spasms, finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds in the 121-84 win. He made nine of his 11 field-goal attempts and also added two assists to his stat line, while logging 24 minutes of game action.
Analysis: Ilyasova was able to get back on the court Friday night and did not show any ill-effects from his back injury. The 24-year-old has been playing at a high level for the Bucks over the past few weeks as he is averaging 16.8 points and 8.6 rebounds since the All-Star break. As long as he is able to stay healthy, owners should continue to roll with Ilyasova in all formats heading into Week 15 (April 2-8).
News: The Bucks official team website reports that forward Ersan Ilyasova, who missed Tuesday's game with back spasms, is participating in practice Thursday. He remains questionable for Friday's game at Cleveland.
Analysis: Fantasy owners in daily leagues should monitor what happens with Ilyasova, and hopefully he can remain healthy for the rest of the year. Ilyasova should be considered a quality Fantasy option in all leagues when active.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova was held out of Tuesday night's contest against the Hawks due to back spams, reports the team's official website. Illyasova is being considered day to day at this point.
Analysis: Ilyasova's back spasms just sort of popped up on Tuesday night as we was a late scratch from the lineup. Hopefully he will be able top get back on the court before too long, especially with the postseason now here in most leagues. Keep an eye on his status moving forward. Illyasova can be considered a viable option in most formats, when healthy.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova was back on the court on Tuesday night for Milwaukee after missing the team's last outing on Friday. He saw 23 minutes of action, but didn't have the best day shooting the ball. Ilyasova shot 3 for 6 from the field and went 1 for 2 at the foul line, finishing with seven points. Luckily, the Bucks were up big and Ilyasova didn't need to be at his best. He added four rebounds, one assist and one block for the Bucks. Milwaukee would beat Portland, 116-87.
Analysis: Ilyasova has been having a good year for the Bucks averaging 12.4 points and 8.7 boards per game entering Tuesday. Despite having an off game, Fantasy owners should stick with Ilyasova in most formats. He'll contribute across the board on most nights, which makes him valuable.
News: The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports that Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova will return to the starting lineup Tuesday night vs. Portland. Ilyasova missed the Golden State game Friday with a bronchial condition but has practiced the last two days.
Analysis: Fantasy owners in daily leagues should plan to get Ilyasova active, and hopefully he can remain healthy for the rest of the year. Ilyasova should be considered a quality Fantasy option in all leagues when active.
News: The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports that Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova returned to practice Sunday. Ilyasova missed Friday's game because of a bronchial condition. Ilyasova should be fine for Tuesday's game at Portland.
Analysis: Fantasy owners should plan to keep Ilyasova active now that he's back at practice. He should be able to play against Portland on Tuesday, and he remains a quality Fantasy option in all leagues when healthy and active.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova was unable to play in Friday's game at Golden State, as he was forced to stay back in the hotel room trying to recover from a bronchial condition. Luckily, the Bucks have the next three nights off, so Ilyasova should be able to recover.
Analysis: Ilyasova has not been a model of consistency recently, however his total production has been incredibly impressive, as he is averaging 19.0 points and 8.9 rebounds per game in March. Ilyasova has plenty of time before his next game to play, so he should be able to get back to health, however Fantasy owners will obviously want to monitor his progress, as he is a high-end Fantasy option when healthy.
News: The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports that Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova is doubtful for Friday's game at Golden State due to a bronchial condition.
Analysis: Fantasy owners in daily leagues should use caution with Ilyasova since he will likely sit out against the Warriors. We hope his condition doesn't linger, and Ilyasova is a must-start Fantasy option in all leagues when healthy.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova had an ugly game in a start on Monday against the Nets. Despite Milwaukee topping New Jersey, Ilyasova struggled over 24 minutes to score just four points. He went 2 of 6 from the field and added three rebounds, one steal and turned the ball over twice.
Analysis: Ilyasova is having a ridiculously inconsistent stretch right now. Over his last five games, Ilyasova is averaging 20.8 points, 9.2 rebounds and 1.6 3-pointers. That sounds awesome. That said, that includes his four-point, three-rebound effort on Monday and also includes an 11-point, 18-rebound night. He's topped 30 points in two of his last five games. Ilyasova is playing well right now, but you never know when he'll have a game like Monday. Still, he can be used in just about all Fantasy formats.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova continued his assault on the backboards on Monday, grabbing 18 rebounds in the Bucks 97-93 win over the Sixers. He also scored 11 points to give him in ninth double-double of the season, while adding four assists and two blocks in 42 minutes.
Analysis: Ilyasova has been playing excellent basketball over the last month, and he has been even better recently, averaging 15.0 points and 11.2 rebounds over the last five. Ilyasova has been rebounding like a mad man, and the team is rewarding him by upping his playing time to 32.0 minutes per game in that same time span. As long as Andrew Bogut remains out with an ankle injury, Ilyasova should continue to be the teams primary rebounder, so Fantasy owners should leave him active in all formats moving forward.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova was able to notch his seventh double-double of the season during Tuesday night's contest against the Wizards. Ilyasova finished with 13 points and 11 rebounds in the 119-118 defeat, including the game-winning put back, on 5 of 9 shooting from the field. He went 1 of 2 from downtown and also added one rebound to his stat line, while logging 27 minutes of game action.
Analysis: Ilyasova continues to play well for the Bucks and has now notched a double-double in four of his last five contests. He is averaging 17.2 points and 13 rebounds over that stretch and looks to have solidified himself in coach Scott Skiles' rotation. As long as he continues to log heavy minutes and produce, owners should feel free to leave the 24-year-old active in all formats.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova turned in a monster performance during Sunday night's contest against the Nets. Ilyasova had career highs of 29 points and 25 rebounds in the 92-85 victory, on 11 of 23 shooting from the field. He went 2 for 4 from downtown and also added one block and a steal to his stat line, before fouling out of the game with 1:07 left to play. Ilyasova's 25 rebounds tied the NBA single-game high this season set Jan. 18 by center Dwight Howard. "It's Ersanity, man," backup center Jon Brockman said.
Analysis: Ilyasova continues to log heavy minutes in the absence of Andrew Bogut and the 24-year-old Turk has proved to be more than up for the challenge. Ilyasova has notched four double-doubles over his last 10 contests and is averaging 14.0 points and 11.9 rebounds over that stretch. While Fantasy owners shouldn't expect Ilyasova to post 20-20 games on a regular basis, he should be active in the majority of formats heading into the shortened Week 9 (Feb. 20-26).
News: Milwaukee PF Ersan Ilyasova led everyone in scoring on Wednesday night during a loss to the Hornets. Ilyasova came off the bench to drop 23 points on the Hornets in the losing effort. He played 35 minutes but didn't exactly shoot well as he went 9 of 21 from the field. Ilyasova hit a 3-pointer and added seven rebounds and two blocks.
Analysis: The 24-year-old Turk has put up a couple big scoring numbers of late. That said, we doubt the Bucks are ecstatic he took 21 shots on Wednesday. Ilyasova is averaging almost nine points and eight boards per game on the year. That keeps him viable in plenty of Fantasy formats.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova dominated the boards on Saturday night -- out rebounding Orlando center Dwight Howard. Ilyasova grabbed a game-high 16 boards and scored 17 points for the Bucks. He shot 70 percent from the floor, hitting his lone 3-pointer, and nailing both his foul shots. Ilyasova added a block, two assists and a steal in his 33 minutes off teh bench. Despite his efforts, the Bucks would still lose to the Magic, 99-94.
Analysis: Ilyasova has been dealing with a nagging back injury, but continues to play through it. Even coming off the bench for the Bucks, Ilyasova gets plenty of minutes and is a key contributor. Over his last four games he's averaging 12.3 pints and 9.8 rebounds per contest. Fantasy owners should continue to view Ilyasova as a low-end forward option in most formats.
News: Despite conflicting reports, Bucks F Ersan Ilyasova started in Friday night's contest against the Cavaliers. Ilasova, who was being considered questionable entering the contest due to a back injury, finished with 12 points and six rebounds in the 113-112 overtime win.
Analysis: Ilyasova was ruled out buy several outlets, but wound up in Milwaukee's starting lineup on Friday. The 24-year-old has been playing well of late and is averaging 10.3 points and 8.8 rebounds over his last five contests. Consider Ilyasova a low-end option, when healthy.
News: Milwaukee F Ersan Ilyasova (back) participated in the team's morning shootaround and could play in Friday's game at Cleveland, according to the team. Ilyasova missed Wednesday's game against Toronto as a result of back spasms. He is averaging 8.3 points per game this year.
Analysis: Ilyasova's participation in practice was an encouraging sign he could return from his brief absence in the lineup. The 24-year-old posted his second double-double of the season during Tuesday's loss to Phoenix as he continues to emerge as a quality contributor for the Bucks, especially on the glass (7.7 rpg). He has now recorded double digits in boards during three of his past four games. Consider him a mid-range Fantasy F option.
News: According to TrueHoop Network, Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova is dealing with back spasms and was sidelined on Wednesday night versus the Raptors. He notched his second double-double of the season on Tuesday night against the Suns.
Analysis: Ilyasova has been playing pretty well for the Bucks of late, so this back issue puts a halt to his production. He is averaging 8.7 points and 8.3 rebounds over his last 10 contests and is seeing just under 23 minutes per game over that stretch. Even though he's inconsistent at times Ilyasova is still playing his way into deeper Fantasy leagues. Hopefully these back spasms don't linger and he only misses one contest. Continue to monitor his status in Week 7 (Feb. 6-12).
News: Bucks F Ersan Ilyasova notched his second double-double of the season during Tuesday night's contest against the Suns. Ilyasova finished with 17 points and 12 rebounds in the 107-105 contest, on 4 of 9 shooting from the field. He went a perfect 8 for 8 from the free-throw line and also added two blocks and an assist to his stat line, while logging 33 minutes of game action.
Analysis: Ilyasova has beeing playing pretty well for the Bucks of late. He is averaging 8.7 points and 8.3 rebounds over his last 10 contests and is seeing just under 23 minutes per game over that stretch. While his production can be a bit spotty at times, owners in deeper formats seeking help with rebounds and points may want to scoop Ilyasova off the waiver wire.
News: Bucks PF Ersan Ilyasova has managed just eight total rebounds in two games since notching a career-high 19 last Wednesday at Houston. Ilyasova did score 15 points in his last game on Saturday against the Lakers. He went 7 for 9 from the field and 1 for 2 from 3-point range in that game.
Analysis: Ilyasova is seeing close to 23 minutes per game of late for the Bucks and is putting up 11 points, 8.8 rebounds over that span. Ilyasova doesn't help Fantasy owners outside those two statistics, but if you need those in deeper leagues, he's your guy.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova grabbed a career-high 19 rebounds on Wednesday night against the Rockets. He stepped up after Andrew Bogut sustained an injury and was forced from the contest. He shot 3 for 7 from the floor, finishing with seven points and a block. Ilyasova helped the Bucks beat the Rockets, 105-99.
Analysis: Ilyasova has been hitting the boards hard lately, as he's set and matched his season high in rebounds before registering his career high on Wednesday. He's averaging 9.0 points and 11.2 boards per game over his last five outings. If Bogut is out an extensive period of time, Ilyasova's stock would go up. This is something for Fantasy owners in deeper category-based formats.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova grabbed a season-high 11 rebounds for Milwaukee on Tuesday night. He also scored nine points in his 22 minutes off the bench. He didn't have a great night shooting the ball as he went 4 for 12 from the field (1 for 3 from downtown). Ilyasova also blocked two shots, made a steal and had one assist in the Bucks 105-95 loss.
Analysis: Ilyasova started a few games for the Bucks this year, but is now coming off the bench. While he's accepted his role with the team, Ilyasova gets almost the same amount of playing time. Over his last five games he's averaging 8.6 points and 6.0 boards in just under 19 minutes of action. Owners should consider Ilyasova is a low-end Fantasy forward best left for the deepest of leagues.
News: Bucks coach Scott Skiles opted to start rookie Jon Leuer on Thursday night against the Pistons, which sent forward Ersan Ilyasova to the bench. That didn't deter him as he scored 14 points on a 5-for-13 shooting display. Ilyasova nailed both his foul shots and converted 2 of his 3 attempts from downtown. He added six boards in his 19 minutes of work. The Bucks went on toe beat the Pistons, 102-93.
Analysis: Ilyasova entered Thursday's outing averaging 6.7 points and 6.0 rebounds per game, so there is room for improvement. The Bucks have a lot of players at the same position, which makes it hard to gauge value on a nightly basis. For now, Ilyasova is a low-end Fantasy forward best left for the deepest of leagues.
News: The Bucks' official website reports coach Scott Skiles is making a change with his starting lineup by replacing power forward Ersan Ilyasova with Jon Leuer. The change will take place Thursday against the Pistons.
Analysis: Leuer is beginning to show a strong presence at both ends of the court, which is why Ilyasova is being moved to the bench. Ilyasova is averaging 6.7 points and 6.0 rebounds per game. He still will probably see 15-20 minutes per game off the bench, but Ilyasova continues to have low-end Fantasy appeal.
News: Bucks PF Ersan Ilyasova saw his minutes decreased with the return of Luc Richard Mbah a Moute on Monday at Denver. Ilyasova played just 20 minutes in the game and scored six points on 3 of 7 shooting. He missed both 3-pointers he attempted in the loss to the Nuggets. Ilyasova added four rebounds and a blocked shot in the game.
Analysis: Mbah a Moute was making his season debut and it clearly affected the way the Bucks chose to use Ilyasova. Averaging just 7.5 rebounds and 6.5 boards per game, Ilyasova's numbers should only go down going forward. He has just low-end Fantasy appeal in deeper formats.
News: Bucks F Ersan Ilyasova was not much of a scorer on Monday night against the Bobcats but made up for it on the boards. He hauled in nine rebounds and finished with two points in the 96-95 loss. He went 1 for 4 from the field in his 27 minutes on the court. Ilyasova also chipped in with two steals in the defeat.
Analysis: Ilyasova took a bit of a step back last season but still put up some decent numbers for the Bucks. He can help owners with some low-end scoring and rebounding but will not provide much else. Continue to view Ilyasova as more of a low-end Fantasy option at this point.
News: Milwaukee forward Ersan Ilyasova has played all three of his NBA seasons with the Bucks, but over two stints. He took a step back from the 2009-2010 season in most statistical categories. He averaged 9.5 points, 6.1 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game in 60 contests -- all career lows. He also shot a career worst 29.8 percent (36 of 121) from beyond the 3-point arc. Ilyasova missed 21 games with concussion symptoms and didn't give the Bucks the offensive punch they thought he would.
Analysis: Ilyasova is under contract for one more season with the Bucks, so one would think he'd want to put his best foot forward for a new deal. He was an everyday starter for the Bucks before getting injured, which hit the team hard this year. He started 34 of his 60 games for Milwaukee, but only saw seven more minutes as a starter compared to coming off the bench. He's normally a much better 3-point shooter than he showed in the 2010-11 season. Fantasy owners should monitor him during the offseason to see how he tries to improve. He could play a key role for the Bucks next year. In terms of Fantasy value Ilyasova should be viewed as a late-round selection in deeper leagues on Draft Day this fall.
News: Bucks F Ersan Ilyasova, who missed the last 21 games with concussion symptoms, returned to action in Friday's game against the Pistons. He had picked up his scoring before suffering the injury, and he continued to grow even after missing so much time. Ilyasova came off of the bench to score 18 points on 7 of 14 shooting, and a perfect 4 of 4 from the foul line. He added six rebounds on the night in 36 minutes of action while assisting on a basket and recording a steal in the loss.
Analysis: Ilyasova was an everyday starter before missing the huge chunk of games, and his scoring was on the rise. But Friday's effort, as a reserve, was tied for his fifth-highest scoring outing of the season. Ilyasova clearly has been able to shoot and stay in some kind of shape during the time off, and it paid off in his return. Fantasy owners may want to keep an eye on the Turkish swingman in the last few games of the year. He was a decent option at one point, but he should be considered just as a marginal guy at this point in the year.
News: Bucks F Ersan Ilyasova is expected to make his return to the court during Friday night's game against the Pistons. Ilyasova has missed the previous 21 games after suffering a concussion.
Analysis: Ilyasova is finally ready to make his return for Milwaukee after missing nearly two months with a concussion. Still, at this point of the season he will likely come off the bench and not produce enough to warrant starting in most daily formats. Leave him on the waiver wire moving forward.
News: The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports that Bucks F Ersan Ilyasova (concussion) was able to practice with the team on Monday. Coach Scott Skiles said there is a chance Ilyasova could play later in the week. The 23-year-old has missed 19 consecutive games with a concussion.
Analysis: Ilyasova may finally be ready to get back on the court after missing over a month because of a concussion. Still, at this point of the season he won't be much help for Fantasy owners even if he is able to come back, which isn't a given at this point. Owners in daily formats may want to keep an eye on his status moving forward, but the majority of owners should continue to ignore Ilyasova, even when healthy.
News: The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports that Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova has yet to return from practice but worked out on the stationary bike Tuesday as he continued his recovery from a concussion he suffered Feb. 26. Ilyasova has missed the last 12 games and no date has been set for his return to the practice court.
Analysis: Keep Ilyasova reserved in all leagues and hope he can return soon. When healthy, he has minimal Fantasy value in the majority of formats, and there is a chance the Bucks could keep him reserved for the rest of the regular season.
News: Milwaukee forward Ersan Ilyasova did not play in Saturday's game against the Sixers as he continues to recover from a concussion. Ilyasova has now missed seven straight games with his injury, but is expected to begin light physical activity on Monday.
Analysis: The Bucks finally gave an update on Ilyasova after not commenting on his status for over a week. The news was not very optimistic however, as is appears the 23-year-old will need a least a few more days before he is ready to get back on the court. Fantasy owners should continue to monitor his status moving forward. Consider Ilyasova a low-end Fantasy option, when healthy.
News: Milwaukee forward Ersan Ilyasova did not play in Wednesday's game against the Cavaliers as he continues to recover from his concussion. Ilyasova has now missed five straight contests with the injury, but is still being considered day to day.
Analysis: Ilyasova remains sidelined with the injury and there has been no official timetable announced for his return. Still, the 23-year-old struggled after returning from an eye injury and was subsequently moved back to the bench. Fantasy owners should continue to monitor his status moving forward. Consider Ilyasova a low-end Fantasy option, when healthy.
News: The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports that Bucks F Ersan Ilyasova was ruled out for Wednesday's game at the Wizards. Ilyasova is dealing with lingering effects of a concussion. This was the fourth consecutive time he has been ruled out.
Analysis: Ilyasova has no concrete timetable for a return. With head injuries, it really is treated on a case-by-case basis. We saw his own teammate, Carlos Delfino miss two months after suffering a concussion earlier this season and we have also seen players return within a week. Continue to monitor Ilyasova's progress, but he clearly remains a player to avoid activating in the meantime.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova was not available for Sunday's contest against the Celtics as he continues to recover from a concussion. Ilyasova has now missed three games with the injury but is still listed as day to day.
Analysis: Ilyasova remains sidelined with a concussion and why team is still considering him day to day, there has been no timetable announced for his respected return. Fantasy owners should continue to monitor his status moving forward, although we don't recommend activating him heading into Fantasy Week 20 (March 7-13). He should only be considered a low-end Fantasy option, when healthy anyway.
News: Bucks F Ersan Ilyasova did not play in Friday's contest against the Suns as he continues to deal with a concussion. Ilyasova suffered the injury during practice last week and has now missed three straight games. He is considered day to day.
Analysis: Ilyasova continues to be sidelined with a concussion and there has been no official word on when he will try to play. The team continues to list him as day to day, but that doesn't mean he will be back anytime soon. Fantasy owners should continue to monitor his status moving forward. Consider Ilyasova a low-end Fantasy option, when healthy.
News: The Arizona Republic reports that Milwaukee forward Ersan Ilyasova is out for Friday's game against the Suns with a concussion. Ilyasova also did not play in Tuesday's contest against the Pistons.
Analysis: Keep Ilyasova reserved in all leagues and hope he can return soon. The Bucks have four games in Fantasy Week 20, and we hope Ilyasova is healthy. He could have an increase in Fantasy value with Andrew Bogut also out, but if everyone is healthy for the Bucks then Ilyasova has minimal Fantasy value in the majority of leagues.
News: Bucks F Ersan Ilyasova did not play in Tuesday's contest against the Pistons as he continues to recover from a mild concussion. Ilyasova suffered the injury last Friday when he collided with teammate Jon Brockman in practice. There has been no official timetable announced for his return.
Analysis: Concussions can always be a bit dicey, so there is no telling when he will be able to get back on the court. Still, the 23-year-old struggled after returning from an eye injury and was moved back to the bench. Fantasy owners should continue to monitor his status moving forward. Consider Ilyasova a low-end Fantasy option, when healthy.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova has been ruled out of Saturday's contest against the Bulls with a concussion. According to the team's official website, Ilyasova suffered the injury at practice on Friday after colliding with Jon Brockman. There has been no timetable announced for his return.
Analysis: Ilyasova apparently suffered a concussion on Friday and now it will cost him some games. Concussions are always bit dicey, so there is no telling when he will be able to get back on the court. Still, Illyasova struggled in his return from an eye injury and was moved back to the bench. Fantasy owners should continue to monitor his status moving forward, although he now will be a huge injury risk heading into Fantasy Week 19 (Feb. 28-March 6). Leave him reserved for the upcoming scoring period.
News: Milwaukee forward Ersan Ilyasova was limited to just 12 minutes on Tuesday night against Minnesota. He missed the last game for the Bucks -- his first of the season -- after taking an elbow to the eye before the All-Star break. He was cleared to play for Tuesday's contest after he said he was feeling better and was no longer having headaches. Ilyasova shot 2 for 7 from the field, missing his lone 3-point attempt, finishing with just four points. He added one steal, one rebound and one assist for the Bucks. Milwaukee went on to win the game, 94-88.
Analysis: Ilyasova may need a few games to shake off the cobwebs after missing his first game of the season. Over his last 10 games, Ilyasova is averaging 9.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and shooting 42.9 percent from the field. Fantasy owners should keep him reserved for a few games to let him get back into the swing of things. When he's healthy, Ilyasova is worth using in deeper category-based Fantasy formats.
News: The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports that the swelling over Ersan Ilyasova's right eye has gone down and he was able to take part in practice on Monday. He missed his first game of the season on Wednesday after taking an elbow to the eye. "I feel much better and my headaches are gone," Ilyasova said. "It was good for me to have the all-star break and to have time to recover."
Analysis: Ilyasova should continue to play around 30 minutes per game, but his production has been spotty. He averaged 9.7 points over his last nine appearances prior to the break, but did provide around seven boards per game over that span. At least in terms of health, he is a safe play.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova sat out Wednesday's game against the Nuggets with a right eye contusion. He was injured in the opening minutes of of Monday's game versus the Clippers. He's being considered day to day by the team.
Analysis: Ilyasova didn't record a stat in Monday's game after making an early exit and won't have a chance to redeem himself on Wednesday. He was a wash for Fantasy owners this week, but with the All-Star break here Ilyasova will have some days to rest up. When healthy, Ilyasova is a low-end forward option in deeper Fantasy leagues. Continue to monitor his progress heading into Week 18 (Feb. 21-27).
News: After taking an elbow from Clippers forward Blake Griffin on Monday, Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova was sporting a black eye on Tuesday. He did not return to that game after sustaining the injury in the opening minutes. His status for Wednesday's outing against the Nuggets is still up in the air.
Analysis: Ilyasova didn't record any Fantasy stats for owners in Monday's contest, which definitely hurts. He has been playing well recently, averaging 12.6 points, 8.1 rebounds and almost a block and steal per game over his last 10 contests. While this injury doesn't seem serious, with the All-Star break approaching, the Bucks may opt to rest Ilyasova with some other banged up players. Continue to monitor his status heading into Wednesday's outing.
News: Milwaukee PF Ersan Ilyasova suffered an injury to his eye after playing just two minutes on Monday against the Clippers and could not return to the game. He did not score and had one personal foul before leaving. He is day to day.
Analysis: Ilyasova was averaging 12.6 points, 8.1 rebounds and almost a block and steal per game over his last 10 contests prior to being injured on Monday. Fantasy owners will wait to see just how badly the eye injury was. It doesn't seem serious at first glance, but owners will definitely want to check back. The Bucks were already without Corey Maggette in the game and John Salmons has been dealing with some injuries as well.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova scored 15 of the Bucks' 22 points in the first quarter on a 6-of-7 shooting display. He would finish with 23 points, two shy of his career high, and grab 13 rebounds. Ilyasova hit a milestone, needing 12 rebounds to reach 1,000. He finished the game shooting 10 for 20 from the floor -- 1 for 2 from downtown -- and hitting both his foul shots. Ilyasova added two assists, a steal and a block in his 34 minutes on the court. Milwaukee would not be able to hold on to it's lead in the fourth quarter, as Golden State went on for the 100-94 win.
Analysis: Ilyasova has scored at least 15 points in four of his last five games. Over that span he's averaging 18.4 points, 8.6 rebounds and 2.2 steals per contest. With both Drew Gooden and Andrew Bogut dealing with injures, Ilyasova will continue to see quality minutes. Once Bogut returns, Ilyasova's production should decrease. It is difficult to take a hot player out of the lineup, so we could be wrong. But the one sure thing is, while Gooden is out of action, Fantasy owners in deeper leagues should view Ilyasova as a solid start. Most weeks he'll be a low-end forward option, but right now it may be worth starting him.
News: Milwaukee forward Ersan Ilyasova continues to play well for the Bucks, despite them losing two games in a row. Ilyasova scored 15 points in a second straight game, but it would come in a 92-77 loss to the Suns on Wednesday. He added a team-high nine rebounds and four steals in his 33 minutes of action. Ilyasova struggled to find his the range though as he went 7 for 20 from the floor and 1 for 5 from downtown.
Analysis: Ilyasova got plenty of rebounds, but the Bucks were missing Andrew Bogut and Drew Gooden. With Gooden expected to be out a few weeks, Ilyasova could see an increase in minutes and production. Over his last five games he's averaging 15.4 points, 2.2 steals and 6.6 rebounds per contest. One of those games even saw him match his career-high of 25 points. With an opportunity to produce, Ilyasova should be viewed as a low-end starting forward in deeper Fantasy leagues.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova matched a career high with 25 points before fouling out of Friday's 116-110 overtime win over the Raptors. Ilyasova made nine of 10 field goal attempts, including two 3-pointers, and went 5 for 5 from the line. "He was very efficient," coach Scott Skiles said. "You could tell when it was coming out of his hand that he was in one of those grooves tonight." He logged 34 minutes in the victory and also chipped in with seven rebounds, three steals, two blocks and an assist before fouling out. Ilyasova also scored 25 at New York on Feb. 5, 2010.
Analysis: Ilyasova has found himself back in the starting lineup of late, and is averaging 12.6 points and 3.8 rebounds over his last five contests. He continues to see around 25 minutes a game, however, that could change once Drew Gooden gets healthy. Keep an eye on Gooden's progress moving forward. If he remains out, Ilyasova can be considered a No. 3 Fantasy forward heading into Fantasy Week 15 (Jan. 31-Feb. 6).
News: Bucks F Ersan Ilyasova had scored in single digits in each of his previous four games but was able to break out of that slump on Monday night against the Bulls. He scored 17 points on 8 of 16 shooting in the 92-83 loss. He went 1 for 3 from beyond the arc while playing 32 minutes as a starter. Ilyasova also had two rebounds, an assist and a blocked shot in the defeat.
Analysis: Ilyasova has seen sporadic minutes recently but saw some solid playing time on Monday night and put up some points. He is averaging 8.6 points with 5.2 rebounds and one steal over his last five contests, while shooting nearly 43 percent fro the floor over that span. His playing time usually rides on how healthy Drew Gooden is so Fantasy owners should keep an eye on his progress over the next few days. When seeing minutes and going well, Ilyasova is a low-end option in deeper Fantasy leagues.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova recorded his second straight double-double for Milwaukee on Wednesday night. Ilyasova scored 11 points and grabbed 10 boards in his 34 minutes of action against the Spurs. He shot 5 for 13 from the field -- missing both of his 3-pointers -- and hitting his lone foul shot. The Bucks would fall to the Spurs, 91-84, despite Ilyasova's efforts.
Analysis: Over his last five games, Ilyasova is averaging 10.8 points, 8.0 boards and 1.4 steals per game. He's shooting 44.2 percent from the field over that span and has missed just one foul shot. But with Drew Gooden returning to action, Ilyasova could see a decrease in minutes. Granted Gooden is still getting back into the swing of things, so Ilyasova could hold onto his starting job for a few more games. This is a situation to watch in Milwaukee. For now, consider Ilyasova a low-end forward while he's getting the starts.
News: Milwaukee forward Ersan Ilyasova tallied 22 points and 13 rebounds in the Bucks' 115-92 victory over New Jersey on Saturday night. It was his sixth double-double of the season and his second in the last five games. Ilyasova made on a season-high 10 of 14 shots (71.4 percent) from the field to connect on 70 percent of his attempts for the first time this year. The fourth-year forward added four assists and three steals as Milwaukee halted a three-game losing skid.
Analysis: Ilyasova had his best game of the season while continuing to fill in for the injured Drew Gooden in the starting lineup. He had been struggling recently and had posted single digits in scoring in his last three games while averaging just 7.0 points per game in that span. Ilyasova is averaging 8.4 points and 5.8 rebounds -- third-best on the team -- per game this season. He is a decent Fantasy producer for owners in deeper leagues and should be considered a low-end forward while he's in the Bucks' starting lineup.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova turned in another solid effort in Saturday's 99-87 win over the Mavericks. Iiyasova scored 16 points in the victory to go along with a season-high 17 rebounds. He shot 5 of 11 from the field in the contest and finished with an assist in 36 minutes.
Analysis: Ilyasova has now scored in double digits in consecutive contests after scoring a combined nine points combined over his previous two games. His scoring numbers are right around his career average, however, he has been playing much better of late after an ice-cold start to the season. Ilysaova has also been rebounding the ball better of late and can be useful to owners in deeper leagues that need help on the glass. Consider him a low-end Fantasy forward heading into Week 11 (Jan. 3-11). The Bucks play the Magic, Heat and Nets in the upcoming scoring period.
News: The Bucks dominated the Lakers at Staples Center on Tuesday night and the team was led by two unlikely sources with Brandon Jennings out. Bucks guard Earl Boykins played well off the bench and forward Ersan Ilyasova recorded a double-double. Ilyasova shot 6 of 13 from the field over 33 minutes and hit a 3-pointer to score 17 points. He added 11 rebounds and a block in the 98-79 improbable win, just the fourth on the year on the road for the Bucks.
Analysis: Ilyasova scored a combined six points in the previous two games with six rebounds before Tuesday's outburst. Fantasy owners might want to keep an eye on him but we doubt he's really going to keep playing like that. He really only has value in the deeper Fantasy leagues.
News: Milwaukee forward Ersan Ilyasova got the start Wednesday night and finished with 13 points and six rebounds in the Bucks' 92-90 loss at San Antonio. Ilyasova, who will remain in the starting lineup for the foreseeable future, connected on 5 of 9 shots from the field and added a steal and a block.
Analysis: Ilyasova's output was his fourth consecutive game scoring in double digits as he tries to provide a spark to the Milwaukee starting lineup. After a cold start to the season, his shooting percentage is beginning to heat up and he now has made 45 percent of his shots or better in the last four games. Fantasy owners looking for cheap help at forward can take a look at Ilyasova off the waiver wire.
News: The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports that Bucks F Ersan Ilyasova has been named a starter by coach Scott Skiles. Drew Gooden and Larry Sanders will come off the bench behind him for the time being.
Analysis: Ilyasova has upside. On Dec. 8 against Indiana, he scored 21 points with 10 rebounds in 40 minutes of playing time. He may only hang on to the job long enough for Drew Gooden to get back to full strength and considerable playing time may not be available on a regular basis. However, Fantasy owners looking for cheap help at forward or power forward can look to him off the waiver wire in the meantime.
News: Milwaukee PF Ersan Ilyasova dropped 12 points Monday as the Bucks defeated the Mavericks in Dallas. Ilyasova shot 5 of 11 from the field and nailed two big 3-pointers in the upset win. He played 23 minutes and added three rebounds.
Analysis: Ilyasova has scored in double figures in three straight games and he's been seeing the minutes that Corey Maggette has been missing. He's averaging 10.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists per night over his last five and is picking up the pace all around. The more he plays, the more Fantasy owners need to start adding him in deeper Fantasy formats.
News: With the Bucks PF Drew Gooden missing another game, Ersan Ilyasova took over in a win over the Pacers. Ilyasova scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the double-double in the 97-95 win. He played 39 minutes and shot 7 of 14 from the field. He missed all four 3-pointers he attempted and otherwise could have had a monster night. He added three assists.
Analysis: Ilyasova is still averaging just 10.8 points and 7.2 boards per game over his last five, despite the big performance on Wednesday. Those numbers make him viable in deeper leagues, but nothing more until he plays as he did Wednesday consistently. Gooden should be back soon and that might hurt his value again.
News: The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel has confirmed that Bucks F Drew Gooden will miss a third consecutive game on Wednesday night against the Pacers due to the ongoing effects of plantar fasciitis. In his absence, Ersan Ilyasova could see a boost.
Analysis: Lately, Ilyasova has not been taking advantage of this situation to put up more numbers. He has been held to below five points in Gooden's last two absences despite averaging around 25 minutes in those games. Larry Sanders looks like the more attractive fill-in off the waiver wire for now.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova scored just four points in Saturday's 96-85 win over the Magic. Ilyasova shot just 1 of 4 from the field and missed his lone 3-point attempt. He played 30 minutes off the bench and chipped in with eight rebounds and two assists. Ilyasova is averaging 12 points over his last five contests.
Analysis: Ilyasova has been coming off the bench for the Bucks despite the fact that Drew Gooden is sidelined with a heal injury. Milwaukee has instead opted to go with Larry Sanders, however, Ilyasova is still seeing decent minutes off the bench. All bets are off once Gooden returns and with the Bucks only playing three times during Fantasy Week 7 (Dec.6-12), Fantasy owners may want to leave him on the bench. Consider him a low-end Fantasy forward.
News: Milwaukee forward Ersan Ilyasova replaced the hobbling Drew Gooden (toe) in the starting lineup during the Bucks' victory over Charlotte on Saturday and finished with 17 points in a season-high 40 minutes. Ilyasova made just 5 of his 12 shots but sank three buckets from 3-point range.
Analysis: Ilyasova, who is contributing 6.5 points per game and 4.9 rebounds per game this season, just missed on his second double-double in a row Saturday. The Turkish forward finished with nine rebounds before fouling out late in the fourth quarter. He had quietly notched his second double-double of the season in the Bucks' loss at Detroit on Friday. He could see more extended minutes if Gooden remains sidelined but should stay on your Fantasy waiver wire if he returns quickly.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova recorded his second double-double of the season in Friday's 103-89 loss to the Pistons. IIasova scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in 34 minutes off the bench. He went 3 of 4 from the charity stripe and a pair of blocks and an assist in the defeat.
Analysis: Ilyasova has proven he can be effective when he sees decent minutes, however, he was averaging just 17.4 minutes entering Friday's contest. He continues to play behind Drew Gooden and until he sees an increase in playing time, Ilyasova can be left on the waiver wire heading into Week 6 ( Nov. 29- Dec. 5).
News: Bucks F Ersan Iyasova had a second consecutive weak stat line on Tuesday against the Lakers. He scored nine points with four rebounds after being held scoreless with three rebounds in his previous game.
Analysis: Ilyasova had 17 points and 10 rebounds the game before that and had been on quite a role. But Drew Gooden has picked up the pace on his end and that has limited the need for Ilyasova to play big minutes. Expect more up and down play here going forward. Remember Ilyasova can be productive when given the playing time, but he should be avoided for now.
News: Bucks F Ersan Ilyasova had another strong performance in Wednesday's game against the Knicks. He scored 17 points with 10 rebounds in 27 minutes off the bench a day after producing 12 points with nine rebounds in 18 minutes against the Knicks.
Analysis: Ilyasova had totaled just 12 points and five boards combined over his previous two games, but he seems to be back in a prominent role after a very slow start to the season. He may continue to be inconsistent, depening on what Drew Gooden offers up ahead of him in the starting lineup. But Ilyasova produced numbers like this last season when given a chance and remains a solid Fantasy reserve option to add off the waiver wire.
News: Bucks F Ersan Ilyasova had a productive game off the bench for the Bucks in Wednesday's overtime loss in Boston. He scored 15 points with seven rebounds, playing 35 minutes despite not starting. Ilyasova had scored a combined six points with 10 rebounds over his previous four games.
Analysis: Ilyasova had not played more than 16 minutes in any of the team's first four games, but he got heavy playing time over Drew Gooden on Wednesday. This is something to monitor going forward as it appeared Ilyasova had been pushed out of the team's rotation in the early going. We are not ready to declare him back yet, but Ilyasova has put up solid numbers in scoring and rebounding whenever he is given good playing time. He is worth taking a flier on off the waiver wire in deeper formats.
News: Bucks F Ersan Ilyasova played just 13 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's game against the Trail Blazers. He had played a combined nine minutes over his two previous games.
Analysis: Ilyasova is averaging just 9.5 minutes per game and is not a major part of the team's rotation despite a promising season a year ago. As long as Drew Gooden remains healthy, it appears Ilyasova will have no Fantasy appeal.
News: Bucks PF Ersan Ilyasova missed all four shots he took Friday against the Timberwolves and finished with no points in eight minutes off the bench. He did pull down three rebounds and picked up four fouls. He has four points and six rebounds in his first two games.
Analysis: Ilyasova averaged a career-high 10.4 points in 2009-10, but that was when he was seeing significant minutes for the Bucks. The team got a roster makeover in the offseason and now Ilyasova fights for his minutes off the bench. He is not worth playing in Fantasy if he keeps posting these poor numbers.
News: Milwaukee forward Ersan Ilyasova was one of three Bucks that scored 18 points on Friday against the Pistons. He made all 11 shots from the charity stripe, but shot just 3 for 10 from the field. He also dished out four assists and grabbed seven rebounds.
Analysis: Ilyasova averaged 10.4 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 81 games last season, which was a big improvement from his rookie season. Milwaukee added veteran forward Drew Gooden in the offseason, so Ilyasova will have to battle for playing time in 2010-11. He has a good upside, and could see an extended role as the season progresses. Consider him a late-round pick in most Fantasy leagues.
News: The Sports Xchange reports Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova showed his future is bright with a solid series against the Hawks and a quality Game 7 showing Sunday in Atlanta. The 22-year-old Ilyasova kept the Bucks in the game in the first half by scoring nine points off the bench. He then started the second half in place of Luc Mbah a Moute and finished the game with 13 points and 11 rebounds in 28 minutes. This wrapped up a solid season for Ilyasova, who averaged 10.4 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.0 assists. He appeared in 81 games and improved off his rookie season.
Analysis: Ilyasova is worth a late-round pick in all leagues in 2010-11. He will continue to come off the bench in Milwaukee, but he's proven he deserves playing time. Consider him a solid reserve in all leagues next season.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova played 24 bench minutes in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference playoff series against Atlanta. The Hawks won 96-86 but Ilyasova played well as he shot 5 for 10 from the field to score 13 points and grab 15 rebounds. He hit one 3-pointer and added a blocked shot.
Analysis: Ilyasova averaged 10.4 points, 6.4 boards and a 3-pointer per game this season and is likely to have a bigger role with the team next year as he's just 22 years of age. He will definitely be a worthy draft choice in 12-team and deeper leagues heading into next season.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova had 17 points, seven rebounds and one block Tuesday at Chicago. It was the third game in a row where he had at least seven rebounds, and he's averaging 13.8 points and 6.8 rebounds in his past five games.
Analysis: Ilyasova should finish the season strong with Andrew Bogut (elbow, hand) out for the year. Keep Ilyasova active in all leagues while he's playing at this level.
News: According to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, Bucks C Andrew Bogut will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a broken right hand, dislocated elbow and sprained right wrist in a nasty fall during Saturday night's game against Phoenix. He will likely have to undergo surgery. A recovery schedule has yet to be determined. Veteran big man Kurt Thomas is likely to move into the starting lineup, and coach Scott Skiles will have to get very creative with his lineups. The Bucks may have to play with smaller lineups at times, and 6-foot-10 Ersan Ilyasova might play the center spot in certain situations.
Analysis: This is a sad end to what had been a bounce-back and mostly injury-free season. Bogut averaged 15.9 points, 10.2 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game and had re-established himself among the elite centers in Fantasy. He'll enter the 2010-11 season as a viable No. 1 center option to draft in the early rounds. He's had a history of injuries, but there was nothing Bogut could do about Saturday's nasty collision. Ilyasova could be the biggest beneficiary while Thomas' appeal is mainly just that of a last-minute emergency option for deeper leagues with limited upside. Ilyasova had 12 points and seven boards Saturday.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova scored 20 points in Tuesday's win over the Clippers. In 26 minutes, he shot 8 of 14 from the field, just 1 of 5 from three-point range. He added eight rebounds, two assists and one steal.
Analysis: Ilyasova is averaging 25.1 minutes a game this month, but not always making the most of it -- he's scored in double figures just five times in 13 games. While he flashes potential, he's too inconsistent to trust on a regular basis. Keep him reserved in all Fantasy leagues.
News: Bucks F Ersan Ilyasova had seven points with two rebounds in 25 minutes off the bench Sunday against Indiana. He is averaging just 8.4 points and 5.6 rebounds in his last five games.
Analysis: Ilyasova is a talented player who is just not currently in a situation to contribute consistently. He is seeing 20 minutes per contest and will be too erratic to trust in Fantasy unless that changes.
News: Bucks forward Ersan Ilyasova played well Wednesday night against Washington with 19 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, one block and steal. Ilyasova's six assists were a career high.
Analysis: Ilyasova's play has been inconsistent all season, especially recently since the Bucks acquired John Salmons in a trade from Chicago. Still, in his past five games, Ilyasova is averaging 12.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists. He is worth using as a No. 4 Fantasy option while he's playing at this level.
News: Bucks SF Ersan Ilyasova scored 17 points in Thursday's win over the Pacers. In 21 minutes, he shot 7 of 9 from the field, 1 of 2 from downtown. He added five rebounds and one assist.
Analysis: Ilyasova continues to give you what he's going to give you. Over his last five games he's averaging 10.4 points and 6.0 rebounds, just a hair off his season averages of 10.3 points and 6.2 rebounds. But he's far too inconsistent, scoring 10 or more points in just five of 12 games this month; it's feast or famine with him. His only value exists in the deepest of weekly Fantasy leagues.
News: Bucks SF Ersan Ilyasova scored 10 points and grabbed six rebounds on Monday during a win at New York. He shot 5 of 8 from the field over 22 minutes.
Analysis: The Bucks are playing well right now and Ilyasova has not been a consistent part of that. He has a good game every now and again but his value lies in 12-team and deeper Fantasy leagues.
News:The Sporting Xchange notes that Bucks F Ersan Ilyasova has had a roller-coaster type season. The 22-year-old Ilyasova has had three outstanding games in the last five outings, scoring 16 points against the Pistons Friday night, 18 against the Nets on Feb. 10 and 25 points against the Knicks on Feb.5. In the other three games, though, Ilyasova scored seven, zero and five points.
Analysis: Inconsistency has been the major problem plaguing Ilyasova throughout the season. He has shown flashes of potential then followed it up with abysmal performances. Until he can find any type of consistency, Ilyasova remains a player that provides Fantasy value in only the deepest of leagues. With Milwaukee playing five favorable games during Fantasy Week 18 (Feb. 22-28), Ilyasova should be in some starting lineups.
News: Bucks SF Ersan Ilyasova notched a double-double off the bench on Friday in a win at Detroit. The Turkish delight scored 16 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in 33 minutes. He shot 6 for 6 from the field, including hitting a 3-pointer, and he added three assists and three steals.
Analysis: Ilyasova has so much ability and has shown it plenty of times this season. That said, he's only scored in double figures twice in his last five games. He should be on most Fantasy rosters in 12-team and deeper leagues, but Ilyasova is really only worth using consistently in the deepest of formats. The Bucks do play very favorable matchups in Week 18 (Feb. 22-28).
News: Bucks SF Ersan Ilyasova was given 22 minutes on Wednesday at New Jersey and he responded with a huge game in the blowout win. Ilyasova scored 18 points and grabbed six rebounds with a steal. He shot 8 for 13 overall and went 2 for 3 from 3-point range.
Analysis: Ilyasova scored 25 points three games back against Indiana but combined for five points in 22 minutes over the next two. He doesn't see consistent minutes but has proven the ability to produce when he does get time. For now, his Fantasy appeal is lower end but if the team begins to play him more in the second half of the season, that can, of course, change.
News: Milwaukee F Ersan Ilyasova scored a career-high 25 points to guide the Bucks to a 114-107 victory over New York on Friday. Ilyasova replaced center Andrew Bogut, who left with migraine headaches. "Ilyasova's the one that killed us," Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni stated. His players agreed. "Ilyasova is the one that made a difference," David Lee said. "Jennings didn't shoot a great percentage, Ilyasova did." In 30 minutes of play, Ilyasova shot 10 of 18 from the field while adding nine rebounds.
Analysis: With Andrew Bogut suffering from migraines, Ilyasova could see some increased minutes over the next few contests. He is quite capable of scoring in double figures and has averaged 11 points over his last five contests. If Bogut returns quickly, Ilyasova only shows low-end Fantasy appeal.
News: Milwaukee SF Ersan Ilyasova hasn't scored in double figures since recording a double-double with 13 points and 11 boards at Utah on Jan. 16, a span of four games. In his last game, Saturday against Minnesota, the Bucks' forward managed eight points and eight boards and shot 3 of 9 from the field.
Analysis: Ilyasova is averaging just 7.0 points per game over his last five and that is well down from his current average of 10.7 PPG on the year. He's clearly not factoring into the scoring as much of late. He's still bringing a similar number of rebounds but he's shooting less overall and seeing just 20 minutes per night. Right now he only has low-end Fantasy appeal for anything but deeper leagues. The Bucks play a rigorous three-game schedule in Week 14 (Jan. 25-31), further depleting his value for the upcoming scoring period.
News: Bucks SF Ersan Ilyasova scored a team-high 24 points on Wednesday during a loss to Portland. Ilyasova shot 9 for 15 from the floor and hit four threes in the defeat. He added five rebounds and a steal.
Analysis: Ilyasova is averaging just 9.2 points per game over his last five contests and that is with this 24-point effort. He'd been struggling and hasn't been nearly as consistent as he was earlier in the season. It appears he will have occasional nights such as this one but the days when these are the norm are in the past. Treat him as a low-end Fantasy option with upside.
News: Bucks F Ersan Ilyasova had four points with two rebounds and an assist in Monday's game in Phoenix. Ilyasova has averaged six points and six rebounds over his last five games.
Analysis: Ilyasova still has the occasional solid performance, like the 13 points and 11 rebounds that he had on Jan. 8 against Chicago, but it really does not happen on a consistent basis for him anymore and Fantasy owners can't rely on him if he's only getting around 20 minutes per contest. Until that changes, he remains a player to avoid activating.
News: Milwaukee SF Ersan Ilyasova fell one field goal short of a double-double on Saturday in an overtime win over the Thunder. Ilyasova went 4 for 12 in the contest, scoring eight points and adding 10 rebounds. He also had two assists, a steal and two blocked shots in the contest.
Analysis: Ilyasova was the hottest player in Milwaukee just a few weeks ago, but his production has really tailed off lately. He has finished in double digits in scoring just twice in his past five games, averaging 8.6 points per contest during that span. He is still worth having active in deeper formats, but that's about it.
News: Bucks SF Ersan Ilyasova continued his hot run of late when he scored 18 points and added seven rebounds in Friday's loss to the Cavaliers. The native of Turkey is now averaging 17.8 points over his last five games.
Analysis: Ilyasova is the hottest player in Milwaukee right now and has been deservedly racking up the minutes. He's definitely worth owning in most Fantasy leagues and using in at least all deeper formats for the time being.
News: Bucks SF Ersan Ilyasova scored 24 points on Wednesday during an overtime loss to the Lakers in Milwaukee. He played 34 minutes and shot 10 of 18 with three threes in the game. He added five rebounds, four assists and a steal.
Analysis: This Turkish delight is averaging almost 16 points and eight boards per game over his last five contests. That comes with two threes per game and 1.4 steals. He gets over 35 minutes per night and is starting of late. He's definitely worth owning in most Fantasy leagues and using in at least all deeper formats.
News: Milwaukee SF Ersan Ilyasova shot 6 of 17 from the field with two threes on Tuesday in a loss to Boston to score 19 points. He added eight rebounds and three steals.
Analysis: Ilyasova starts for the Bucks but had not scored in double figures in his previous three games. He's having a fine season for Milwaukee as he's averaging over 11 points and seven rebounds per game. He's definitely worth owning in most Fantasy leagues and using in all deeper formats.
News: Milwaukee SF Ersan Ilyasova has played well lately, especially on Saturday against Orlando. He scored 20 points in the game on 8 for 18 shooting, adding 16 rebounds. In a loss at Oklahoma City on Friday night, Ilyasova shot 5 of 13 and scored 13 points. He hit a three and added 12 rebounds and three assists.
Analysis: Ilyasova is good for at least one three per contest and has been thriving in his role as a starter.
