(4/14/2015) Raptors forward Amir Johnson is listed as active for Tuesday's game at Boston, the team announced.

Johnson has been dealing with an ankle injury, which caused him to miss the last four games. While Johnson is active, forward Tyler Hansbrough will receive the start.

Meanwhile, guard DeMar DeRozan will be held out to rest. Guard Lou Williams should see his minutes increase with DeRozan out.

The Raptors are 1-point favorites.

Johnson has missed the last four games with an ankle injury. While coach Dwane Casey said he would like to play Johnson, the priority remains his health for the playoffs. Forward Tyler Hansbrough has seen his role increase with Johnson sidelined.

The Raptors are 2-point favorites.

(4/13/2015) Raptors forward Amir Johnson said his sprained right ankle is improving and would play Tuesday if it were a playoff game, per TSN Sports. 

Johnson, who remains questionable for Tuesday's game in Boston, said he doesn't want to rush the recovery. 

He's been out since April 4 with the injury. 

Tyler Hansbrough has been seeing increased starts and minutes with Johnson's absence.

Johnson is averaging 9.4 points and 6.1 rebounds per game this season.

Tyler Hansbrough is expected to continue to start for Johnson.

The Raptors are 3.5-point underdogs against the Heat.

(4/10/2015) Despite being able to participate in Friday morning's shootaround, Raptors forward Amir Johnson has been ruled out of Friday's game at Orlando, reports SportsNet 590.

It will be the third-straight game Johnson has missed because of an ankle sprain. Forward Tyler Hansbrough will likely start with Johnson out.

While Johnson will not play Friday, he said he was feeling good and was hopeful to play in Saturday's game at Miami, reports the Toronto Sun.

The Raptors are 6-point favorites over the Magic.

It will be the seventh-straight game Lowry has missed because of back spasms. Guard Greivis Vasquez has been starting in Lowry's place.

Meanwhile, forward Amir Johnson is dealing with an sprained ankle and Wednesday will be the second-consecutive game he has missed. Forward Tyler Hansbrough is expected to start with Johnson out.

(4/6/2015) Raptors guard Kyle Lowry participated in some parts of practice Monday but remains questionable for Wednesday's game against the Hornets with back spasms, while forward Amir Johnson did not take part in practice due to a knee injury, per The National Post.  

The Raptors continue to take a wait-and-see approach with Lowry, but the guard has missed eight of the last nine games with the injury.

Johnson's 90.9 shooting percentage was his best of the season (minimum five shots), and his 24 points marked his best scoring performance since Dec. 5. He also grabbed seven rebounds in his 35 minutes of action. The Raptors take a five-game winning streak into Saturday's matchup with the Wizards.

Johnson shot 6-7 from the field. He sunk two free throws, finishing with 14 points. He was effective on the boards as well, pulling down 10 rebounds. Johnson also added two blocks.

(12/1/2014) Raptors' forward Amir Johnson banged up his big toe once again on Sunday in a loss to the Lakers. Johnson, who injured his toe against the Mavericks on Friday, stubbed it again in the first half Sunday and said it was bleeding through his sock.

He only played six minutes in the second half and overtime. Johnson also said it was slowing him down and he couldn't get full lift off of it. 

Johnson finished the night with six points, four rebounds and four assists. The Raptors head to Sacramento a meeting with the Kings Tuesday.

(11/9/2014) After practicing Saturday, Raptors coach Dwane Casey indicated forward Amir Johnson will be ready to play Sunday against the 76ers.  

Johnson had missed three games while dealing with ankle injury, and he left Friday’s game against Washington after playing 21 minutes.

In three games, Johnson is averaging 12.0 points and 7.3 rebounds.

Coach Dwayne Casey indicated that Johnson could have played through the issue Friday if the team needed, and while the forward is questionable for Sunday's game, it seems like he has a good chance of suiting up. He has averaged 12 points on 54.8 percent shooting in three games.
