Derek Fisher scores in double figures vs. Cavs

(3/20/2014) Thunder guard Derek Fisher managed to score in double figures for the 10th time this season in a 102-95 win over the Cavaliers in Cleveland.

Fisher scored 12 points on 4 of 7 from the floor, including 3 of 6 from downtown, and 1 of 4 from the free throw line. He also chipped in with three rebounds, one assist and four steals while logging 24 minutes of game action. He is averaging 5.8 points, 1.8 assists and 1.6 rebounds over his last five appearances.

(2/9/2014) Thunder guard Derek Fisher knocked down a pair of treys and managed to score in double figures on Sunday against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

Fisher scored 10 points on 3 of 6 shooting from the field, including 2 of 4 from behind the arc, and 2 of 3 from the free throw line. He also contributed with two rebounds, one assist and one steal while logging 19 minutes of game action. He has averaged 7.6 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.2 assists over his last five games played.

(1/29/2014) Thunder guard Derek Fisher made a rare impact Wednesday against the Heat, as he caught fire from three-point range in a 112-95 win.

Fisher couldn't miss from long range in the game, connecting on all five of his attempts, including a pair of banked in threes. He finished 5 of 7 overall from the field, with 15 points in 18 minutes, while adding three rebounds, one assist and one steal in the win.

Fisher remains a consistent part of the team's rotation, averaging 20.7 minutes per game in the month of January, but has scored in double figures just five times in 16 games.

(1/21/2014) Thunder guard Derek Fisher scored 10 points on 3 of 7 shooting in his team's 105-97 win over the Trail Blazers Tuesday.

It was Fisher's first double-digit scoring performance in five games, though he's seen an uptick in production this month, with all four of his double-digit efforts this season coming in January. He also recorded two assists and one rebounds in 18 minutes Tuesday. Fisher has averaged 4.2 points and 16.1 minutes over 41 games played.

Fisher also chipped in with four assists and two rebounds while logging 25 minutes of game action. He has averaged 6.0 points on 37.5 percent shooting over his last five games played.

(11/10/2013) Thunder guard Derek Fisher took a back seat to Reggie Jackson in the rotation Sunday, going scoreless for the second straight game in his team's 106-105 overtime win over the Wizards.

Fisher only played six minutes despite Russell Westbrook being ejected late in the fourth quarter, leaving the Thunder without their regular point guard for the final few minutes of regulation and all of overtime. Fisher missed his only shot and pulled down one rebound in the win.

(7/25/2013) The Thunder re-signed veteran guard Derek Fisher to a one-year deal worth the veteran's minimum, according to multiple media reports. Fisher spent parts of the previous two seasons with the Thunder, signing midway through the season for the stretch run and playoffs.

Fisher played 17 minutes despite dealing with soreness in his left foot. He finished with seven points on 2 of 9 shooting in the game, with just one assists. Oklahoma City lost, 95-89.
