D.J. Augustin signs two-year contract with Pistons

(1:05 am ET) Free agent point guard D.J. Augustin has reached a two-year, $6 million deal with the Pistons on Sunday, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports. Augustin averaged 13.1 points, 4.4 assists and 1.8 rebounds over 71 games last season for the Bulls.

Caron Butler reunites with SVG in Detroit

(1:02 am ET) The Pistons have signed free agent small forward Caron Butler to a two-year, $9 million contract on Sunday, according to Marc Stein of ESPN. Butler will be reunited with head coach Stan Van Gundy, who coached him for one season in Miami.

Butler shot 44.1 percent from downtown after signing with the Thunder in March. During his time with the Thunder and Bucks last season, Butler averaged 10.5 points and 4.1 rebounds over 56 games.


Matt Bonner signs one-year minimum deal with Spurs

(12:55 am ET) The Spurs have reached an agreement with power forward Matt Bonner on a one-year minimum contract, according to the San Antonio Express-News on Sunday. Bonner averaged 3.2 points per game over 61 appearances last season for the Spurs. He also shot 42.9 percent from downtown over that span.

Chris Andersen signs multi-year deal with Miami

(12:51 am ET) The Heat have signed forward Chris Andersen to a multi-year contract on Sunday, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports. Terms of the deal were not made public. Andersen averaged 6.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 19.4 minutes per game last season for Miami. He also shot 64.4 percent from the field in 72 appearances.

Rockets won't match Mavericks' offer sheet to Chandler Parsons

(12:47 am ET) The Rockets will not match the offer sheet submitted by the Mavericks to forward Chandler Parsons, the Houston Chronicle reports.

Parsons will sign a three-year, $46 million contract with the Mavericks. Parsons averaged career-highs of 16.6 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game, while appearing in 74 games last season for the Rockets.


Kirk Hinrich stays put with Chicago

Wizards, Rockets, Pelicans finalize three-team deal

(12:37 am ET) The Wizards, Rockets and Pelicans have agreed to a three-team trade involving Trevor Ariza, Alonzo Gee, Omer Asik and Omri Casspi, David Aldridge of NBA.com reports on Sunday.

The Pelicans will receive Asik, Casspi and $1.5 million cash from Houston. The Rockets will get Ariza, Gee and a 2015 protected first-round pick from the Pelicans. The Wizards will receive Melvin Ely 's unguaranteed contract and a $8.5 million trade exception.


Heat bring back Mario Chalmers on two-year deal

(12:27 am ET) According to ESPN's Marc Stein, the Miami Heat will bring back free agent point guard Mario Chalmers on a two-year contract, worth in the region of $8 million.

With LeBron James out of the picture in Miami, Chalmers could be one of the top ball-handlers on the team. Last season, Chalmers averaged 9.8 points, 4.9 assists and 2.9 rebounds per contest. He shot 45.4 percent from the field and 38.5 percent from downtown in 73 games as the starting point guard.


Brian Roberts signs two-year deal with Hornets

(12:21 am ET) The Hornets have signed free agent point guard Brian Roberts to a two-year contract worth just over $5.5 million, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

Roberts appeared in 72 games and started 42 last year, average 9.4 points and 3.3 assists per game, while shooting 42.0 percent from the field, 36.0 percent from three-point range, and leading the league in free-throw percentage at 94.0 percentage.


Richard Jefferson signs one-year deal with Mavs

(12:17 am ET) Free agent forward Richard Jefferson has signed a one-year minimum contract with the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday, according to CBSSports.com NBA Insider Ken Berger reports. Jefferson averaged 10.1 points and 2.7 rebounds in 27 minutes per game for the Jazz last season. He also shot 45 percent from the floor in 56 appearances.
