(5:34 pm ET) Heat coach Erik Spolestra has ruled out guards Dwyane Wade (hamstring) and Norris Cole (finger) for Sunday's game against the Hornets. Wade is missing his sixth straight game, while Cole will be out for the second straight.


Rockets' Dwight Howard, Patrick Beverley miss practice Sunday

(3:42 pm ET) Rockets center Dwight Howard (knee) and guard Patrick Beverley (hamstring) did not practice Sunday, the Houston Chronicle reports. Both players remain questionable for Monday's game against the Knicks, though Beverley indicated Saturday that he'd play Monday.

Lakers' Carlos Boozer (shoulder) questionable Sunday

(3:40 pm ET) Lakers coach Byron Scott considers forward Carlos Boozer questionable to play Sunday with a shoulder injury, the Los Angeles Daily News reports.

Boozer played just 20 minutes Friday, scoring 12 points and grabbing just one rebound. He sat out practice Saturday with the shoulder issue. Boozer has averaged 13.3 points and 6.5 rebounds in 13 games.


Lakers PG Jeremy Lin (back) good to go Sunday

(3:38 pm ET) Lakers point guard Jeremy Lin said his back is good to go for Sunday's game against the Nuggets, the Los Angeles Daily News reports.

Lin sat out practice Saturday with the minor issue. He has averaged 11.8 points and 4.8 assists in 13 games.


X-rays negative on Pistons G Brandon Jennings' thumb

(3:34 pm ET) X-rays on the sprained thumb of Pistons guard Brandon Jennings have come back negative, Pistons.com reports. Jennings missed practice Sunday and remains questionable for Tuesday's game in Milwaukee.

Bulls' Hinrich, Rose, Gasol gametime decisions Monday

(3:32 pm ET) Bulls forward Pau Gasol (calf) and guards Derrick Rose (hamstring) and Kirk Hinrich (chest) are gametime decisions for Monday's game against the Jazz in Utah, the Chicago Tribune reports.

All three are set to participate in practice Sunday, though Hinrick will only practice in a limited fashion. Power forward Taj Gibson has already been ruled out until at least Friday.


Pacers announce injury updates for Monday action vs. Mavericks

Knicks' Andrea Bargnani without timetable for return

(3:24 pm ET) Knicks center Andrea Bargnani is without a timetable for return after straining a calf muscle in a workout Friday, the New York Daily News reports.

"We just have to remain patient," coach Derek Fisher said. "It’s been tough for him ever since he’s been here."

Bargnani missed the first 13 games of the season with a hamstring injury before sitting out Saturday with the calf issue.


Celtics assign SG James Young to NBADL
