Report: Free agent Robin Lopez commits to join Knicks

(1:00 am ET) Free-agent center Robin Lopez has made a commitment to join the Knicks, sources told ESPN.com's Marc Stein.

Lopez will join the Knicks unless free agent DeAndre Jordan chooses the franchise during his free agency.

Lopez averaged 9.6 points and 6.7 rebounds in 59 games for the Trail Blazers last season.


Report: Wes Matthews agrees to four-year deal with Mavericks

(12:55 am ET) Free-agent guard Wesley Matthews has agreed to join the Mavericks on a four-year deal, sources told NBA.com's David Aldridge.

Matthews averaged 15.9 points and 3.7 rebounds per game last season for the Trail Blazers before suffering a season-ending Achilles injury.

Matthews reportedly received a multi-year contract offer from the Kings as well.


Report: Knicks discussing $12-13 million per year for Robin Lopez

(7/2/2015) Center Robin Lopez is in talks with the Knicks on a deal that could average him $12-13 million per season, according to Yahoo! Sports

This follows news that Lopez met with the Knicks about potentially joining their roster. During the 2014-15 season with the Trail Blazers, Lopez averaged 9.6 points and 6.7 rebounds in 28 minutes per game. 


Report: Kings offer $45 million deal to Wesley Matthews

(7/2/2015) The Kings have offered guard Wesley Matthews a sizable contract, according to ESPN's Marc Stein. 

The deal is reportedly for three years and in the $45 million range. This news comes on the heels of Matthews meeting with the Raptors and Mavericks in recent days. Before his Achilles injury, Matthews averaged 15.9 points in 33 minutes per game with the Trail Blazers.

Previous reports indicated Matthews wanted a deal averaging $15 million per year, which would have the Kings right in the ballpark. 


Report: Pacers to re-sign F Lavoy Allen

Allen's deal will be for multiple years. During the 2014-15 season, Allen averaged 5.0 points, 5.1 boards and 1.2 assists in a backup role. 


Longtime NBA forward Kenyon Martin retires from basketball

(7/2/2015) Kenyon Martin is retiring from the NBA, according to Yahoo! Sports. 

"It's been a great 15 years," Martin said. "Thanks to all the fans that supported me over the years. But a time does come when you have to walk away, and the time is now for me. I'm ready for the next chapter of my life. I would like to thank the Nets , Nuggets, Clippers, Knicks and Bucks for the opportunity to play the game that I love.

"It's been real. Thanks for the love."

In his career, Martin, the first overall selectin in the 2000 NBA draft, played with the Nets, Nuggets, Clippers, Knicks and Bucks. He finishes with averages of 12.3 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. 


Nets sign Thomas Robinson

The Nets have long been admirers of Robinson so it's no surprise to see the two sides strike a deal.

Miller took an elbow and also endured a scratched eye. 


Report: Wizards to receive Jared Dudley in trade with Bucks

The Wizards are projected to give up a second-round pick for Dudley. Dudley will likely be a role player off the bench for Washington. 


Hornets sign first-round pick Frank Kaminsky

(7/2/2015) The Hornets announced that they have signed first-round draft pick Frank Kaminsky to his rookie contract. 

Kaminsky was selected ninth overall and was named the National Player of the Year as a senior at Wisconsin. Kaminsky helped lead the Badgers to the national championship game. Kaminsky shot 18.8 points, 8.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.5 blocks in 33.6 minutes per game as a senior.
