Kings' Malone: Rudy Gay could see some rest this week

(6:46 pm ET) Kings coach Michael Malone said Tuesday that small forward Rudy Gay could receive a few days of rest this week, the Sacramento Bee reports.

Gay has already been ruled out for Tuesday's game in New Orleans with right Achilles tendinitis, and the Kings travel to Houston Wednesday and San Antonio Friday. The Kings "remain hopful" that Gay will be able to play Friday, Yahoo! Sports reports. He has averagd 21.1 points on 44.9 percent shooting in 13 games.


Report: Pistons PG Brandon Jennings (thumb) out Tuesday

(6:42 pm ET) Pistons point guard Brandon Jennings will miss Tuesday's game against the Bucks with a sprained thumb, FOXSportsWisconsin.com reports.

Jennings told reporters earlier Tuesday that he's unable to shoot due to the injured thumb. The Pistons play again Wednesday and Friday.


Spurs list Cory Joseph doubtful, Tiago Splitter out Wednesday

(6:39 pm ET) Spurs guard Cory Joseph has been listed as doubtful to play Wednesday against the Pacers, while Tiago Splitter has been listed as out Wednesday.

Joseph will likely be missing his second straight game while recovering from an ankle injury. Splitter has played just once this season, missing his team's last 10 games with a calf injury.


Bucks G Nate Wolters (illness) out Tuesday, to miss road trip

(5:55 pm ET) Bulls center Joakim Noah was a late addition to Chicago's injury report for their Tuesday game against Denver due to injuries to his left eye and his surgically repaired left knee, according to ESPN.
