Jazz list forward Derrick Favors (back) as questionable for Monday

(5:03 pm ET) Jazz forward Derrick Favors continues to be bothered by back spasms and is considered questionable for Monday's game at Minnesota, reports the Salt Lake Tribune.

The back issue caused Favors to miss Saturday's loss to the Thunder. In 68 games, Favors is averaging 16.4 points and 8.3 rebounds.


Heat clear guard Shabazz Napier (hip) to play Sunday

(4:34 pm ET) Despite dealing with pain in his right hip, Heat guard Shabazz Napier has been cleared to play in Sunday's game against the Pistons, reports Fox Sports Florida.

Napier has been dealing with pain in his right hip, but he will be available to play. In 51 games, Napier is averaging 5.1 points and 2.5 assists.

The Heat are 3-point favorites.


Heat rule Whiteside, Andersen out Sunday; Wade questionable

(4:29 pm ET) The Heat will be without centers Hassan Whiteside and Chris Andersen for Sunday's game against the Pistons, reports the Palm Beach Post.

Whiteside is dealing with a cut on his hand, which has caused him to miss the last two games, while Andersen will also miss his third-straight game Sunday with a calf injury. Forwards Udonis Haslem and Michael Beasley are expected to receive more playing time with Whiteside and Andersen out.

Meanwhile, guard Dwyane Wade (knee) is considered a game-time decision. Wade recently had fluid drained from his knee Saturday and he will test it out before making a decision on his playing status, reports the Sun Sentinel.

The Heat are 3-point favorites.


Timberwolves guard Kevin Martin (hamstring) will not play Sunday

(4:15 pm ET) The Timberwolves will be without guard Kevin Martin for Sunday's game at New Orleans, reports the StarTribune.

It will be the fourth-straight game Martin has missed with a hamstring injury.

The Timberwolves are 12-point underdogs.


Rockets' McHale: Patrick Beverley (wrist) probably won't be back

(3:44 pm ET) With Rockets guard Patrick Beverley reportedly seeking a second opinion on his injured wrist, coach Kevin McHale said Beverley probably won't be back before the season ends, reports the Houston Chronicle.

Beverley is dealing with a torn ligament in his wrist, which could require season-ending surgery. However, no decision has been made about Beverley's recovery.


Rockets' Dwight Howard notches first double-double since returning

(3:28 pm ET) Rockets center Dwight Howard continues to show signs of progress from his knee injury when he recorded his first double-double Sunday since returning from knee surgery.

Sunday's win over the Wizards was Howard's third game since returning from knee surgery and it marked the first time he has recorded a double-double since Jan. 19. Howard finished the game with 11 points on 3-of-6 shooting and 10 rebounds.

With the Rockets set to play Monday, Howard will sit out the game to rest.


Wizards' John Wall falls two rebounds shy of triple-double Sunday

(3:21 pm ET) Despite only being two rebounds shy of a triple-double Sunday, the performance by Wizards guard John Wall was not enough as the Wizards lost 99-91 to the Rockets.

Wall finished the game with 25 points, 12 assists and eight rebounds. He shot 7 of 17 from field, including 11 of 12 from the free-throw line. He also added four steals and one block. His lone blemish was the seven turnovers he committed. Wall has scored 25 or more points in three-consecutive games.


Kings' George Karl indicates he could sit Cousins, Gay to rest

(3:16 pm ET) Kings coach George Karl said Sunday he may rest some players to help experiment with various lineups, reports The Sacramento Bee.

Karl said he spoke with center DeMarcus Cousins and forward Rudy Gay about sitting a couple of games in order to rest. Cousins has been bothered by a variety of injuries, while Gay has been dealing with a knee issue.


Knicks sign Ricky Ledo to second 10-day contract Sunday

(3:10 pm ET) As expected, the Knicks signed guard Ricky Ledo to his second 10-day contract Sunday, the team announced.

In 10 games, Ledo is averaging 3.7 points and 1.3 rebounds.


Timberwolves bypass signing guard Sean Kilpatrick

(3:05 pm ET) With the Timberwolves regaining their health and no longer able to use an injury exception, the team announced it will let guard Sean Kilpatrick's contract expire without a new offer.

Kilpatrick was signed to a 10-day contract earlier this month to help alleviate the numerous injuries the Timberwolves were experiencing. In four games, Kilpatrick averaged 5.5 points and 1.5 rebounds.
