Citing rest, Garnett did not play during Wednesday’s loss to the Raptors.

A strained right calf has Nets guard Deron Williams out of the game Friday night in Cleveland. He will not return. He is set for an MRI on Saturday.

Williams sustained the injury guarding Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving. He was immediately escorted by trainers into the locker room.

Nets forward Mirza Teletovic is expected to be back for Tuesday’s game against the Heat, reports The Record.

Teletovic has missed the last three games with a hip pointer. In 19 games, Teletovic is averaging 10.7 points and 5.3 rebounds.

In two of the three games Teletovic missed, forward Cory Jefferson played more than 20 minutes in a game for the first time this season. During Saturday's game against the Hornets, Jefferson also reached double-figure points for the first time this season when he scored 11 points on 5 of 5 shooting.
