News
Celtics point guard Avery Bradley scored a team-high 18 points on 7 of 11 shooting, including 4 of 5 shooting from three-point range, in his team's 100-99 win over the Nuggets in Denver Friday.

''I was able to make some shots because my teammates were able to get me open,'' Bradley said after the game, per the Associated Press. ''We were able to execute. I felt like we were able to get stops at the other end. We forced them to take tough shots and we were able to convert on the other end.''

Bradley matched a season high with four turnovers but still posted an efficient scoring effort to help lead the team to wins in both legs of a set of road back-to-back games, scoring 18 points in each. He also delivered six rebounds and one assist in 30 minutes Friday. The Celtics will face the Warriors Sunday.

Illness - Questionable for Jan. 25 at Golden State (Updated - 1/23/15)
News
Celtics guard James Young will be inactive for Thursday's game against the Trail Blazers, according to MassLive.com.

Young is dealing with an illness, and was considered doubtful heading into the contest. Coach Brad Stevens said that inactive spot is going to be a tough choice once Young is healthy. Young has missed the past two games due to the issue. He's averaging 3.1 points per game.
