Bulls point guard Derrick Rose scored a team-high 34 points on 12 of 23 shooting, including 5 of 9 shooting from 3-point range, in his team's 113-106 double-overtime win over the Bucks in Game 3 Thursday.

The Bulls endured a scoring drought near the end of regulation to let a 10-point lead slip away, but Rose was able to make one of two free throws with less than five seconds left to send the game into overtime. After the two teams traded six points in the first extra period, the Bulls pulled away with 12 points in the second overtime, six by the leading scorer. Rose also racked up eight assists, five rebounds and three steals in 48 minutes.

"He's back with the attack mode," coach Tom Thibodeau said after the game, per the Chicago Tribune.

The Bulls will look to close out a series sweep Saturday in Milwaukee.

News
Ankle and shoulder ailments have Bulls forward Taj Gibson hurting, but he's not about to limit himself in the playoffs. He was given a cortisone shot in his shoulder last week, but an injury to teammate and fellow forward Nikola Mirotic has forced him into extra playing time.

"It's tough," he told the Chicago Tribune. "But you still have to go out there and do your best."

Gibson snagged eight rebounds in the fourth quarter in the double-overtime defeat of Milwaukee in Game 3 that placed the Bulls on the verge of a sweep.

"I was just determined," an exhausted Gibson said. "It's the playoffs. You can't worry about injuries right now. I'm just trying to be there for my teammates any way I can."

Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said his team is healthy and everybody should be ready to play for Game 5 of their Eastern Conference Quarterfinals series against the Bucks on Monday, reports ESPNChicago.com.

Bulls forward Nikola Mirotic missed Game 3 of the series with a bruised left knee and strained quadriceps but played in Game 4, saying afterwards he was not one hundred percent during the contest.

The Bulls lead the series 3-1.
