Pistons point guard Reggie Jackson had an off shooting night Friday, scoring 16 points on 5 of 24 shooting in his team's 121-115 double-overtime loss to the Knicks.

Jackson averaged 19.5 points on 42.4 percent shooting in his first two games with the Pistons but turned in his worst shooting performance of the season (min. 10 shots) despite the high volume.

"He makes the decisions he makes," coach Stan Van Gundy said after the game, per the Associated Press. "The last two games, he was great. Tonight was not great."

Jackson also racked up five rebounds and five assists in 41 minutes. The Pistons will square off with the Wizards Saturday.

News
Pistons point guard Spencer Dinwiddie scored a season-high 20 points on 8 of 14 shooting in just 21 minutes in Saturday's 99-95 loss to the Wizards.

Outside of filling in for coach Stan Van Gundy after the trade deadline when the team was managing with a depleted roster, Dinwiddie has seen sparse action this season. However, starting point guard Reggie Jackson struggled for a second consecutive night, allowing Dinwiddie to play more than 20 minutes for just the second time this season.

"He was terrific," Van Gundy said after the game, per the Associated Press. "He was playing too well (to take out). He was making a lot of plays and stayed on the attack. Outstanding game."

Dinwiddie also chipped in seven assists, four rebounds and one steal in the loss, the team's third straight. They'll look to put an end to the losing streak Wednesday in New Orleans.
