News
The Heat announced guard Dwyane Wade (hamsting) and forward Luol Deng (calf) will be held out of Friday's game against the Mavericks.

Wade strained his hamstring during Tuesday's game and coach Erik Spoelstra said Wade did not receive an MRI on the hamstring and will receive treatment, reports Bleacher Report. He did not offer a timetable on Wade's return. James Ennis will see an increased role while Wade is out.

Meanwhile, the Heat expect center Chris Andersen to return in Friday’s contest. Andersen missed Tuesday's game while dealing with elbow and back issues.

Injuries
Hamstring - Out indefinitely (Updated - 1/29/15)
News
Heat guard Dwyane Wade spoke to the media Thursday about his strained hamstring and offered no timetable on when he'll be healthy enough to play.

"Just go day by day, get the treatment and see how I feel," Wade said.

Wade has missed nine games this season due to hamstring injuries and has been ruled out of Friday's against the Mavericks. Wade strained his hamstring during Tuesday's game and said he feels frustrated with missing so many games.

"I know our fans are very frustrated. I just want them to know that they aren't more frustrated than us," he said.

News
With guard Brandon Jennings lost for the season, the Pistons have shown interest in acquiring Heat guard Norris Cole, reports the Northeast Ohio Media Group.

While no deal is imminent, exploratory talks are ongoing and the Heat indicated Cole is available. Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy said he would like to add another point guard.

"We definitely got to get a third point guard, there's no question," Van Gundy said. "To go out and get a guy who would be a huge difference maker, you probably have to give up something that would hurt you down the road."

In 39 games, Cole is averaging 6.2 points and 3.4 assists.
