News
Heat power forward Chris Bosh is contending with greater defensive attention this season, greatly as a result of the departure of LeBron James. He is leading the team in minutes, scoring, rebounding and free throws attempted, but his shooting percentage is significantly down.

Bosh has been struggling more from the floor lately. He was 54 of 111 (49 percent) in his first seven games, but just 17 of 60 (28 percent) in four games since. Included was a 2-for-17 effort Sunday against Milwaukee.

"It's extremely frustraing to go through it so far but that's a part of it," Bosh told Sheridanhoops.com about his new role and recent inaccuracy. "The coaching staff has really been on me to be a leader and be an inspiration to the guys no matter how the game is going. So I just have to be that voice every day. So as long as I'm doing that I'm sure my game will catch up."

News
Heat guard Norris Cole is questionable to return to Thursday's game against the Clippers with a dislocated left middle finger, the team announced.

Cole was taken to the back after suffering an apparent hand or finger injury in the first half, and it's possible he could be held out of the remainder of the game for precautionary reasons with the Heat down big already. He missed all three of his shots in 10 minutes of action before suffering the injury.
