Pelicans forward Ryan Anderson scored 26 points on 10 of 14 shooting Thursday but his team was unable to avoid a 123-119 overtime loss to the Warriors in Game 3 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.

Anderson delivered a big shooting performance in 30 minutes off the bench, finishing only behind Anthony Davis (29 points) on the scoreboard for the Pelicans. However, the Warriors were able to force overtime after outscoring the home team 39-19 in the fourth quarter. Anderson also managed five rebounds and two assists in the loss.

The Pelicans will be looking to stave off elimination in Game 4 Saturday in New Orleans.

Pelicans guard Jrue Holiday is considered a game-time decision for Saturday's Game 4 against the Warriors, coach Monty Williams said per NOLA.com. Holiday will give it a go and play Saturday, according to BourbonStreetShots.com

Holiday has played the last two games of New Orleans' series against Golden State while recovering from a stress fracture in his leg. Holiday scored 10 points and dished out four assists in 17 minutes of action in Game 3 Thursday. The Pelicans are currently 6 1/2-point underdogs Saturday.

The Pelicans want forward Anthony Davis in their plans for a long, long time. 

According to ESPN.com, the Pelicans have offered Davis a maximum deal that could be worth more than $140 million over five years. Negotiations between the two can begin on July 1. 

Davis averaged 24.4 points and 10.2 rebounds per game this past regular season.
