Noel, who was considered probable to play, missed Wednesday's loss to the Knicks. Sims was deemed questionable after playing 32 minutes Wednesday, while Mbah a Moute was also listed as questionable after missing the team's last two games.

The Sixers are 13-point home underdogs against the Raptors Friday.

76ers guard Tony Wroten has been ruled out of Wednesday's game against the Knicks, the team announced.

It will be the fifth straight game Wroten has missed while dealing with a knee issue. He is currently in Los Angeles having his knee examined and coach Brett Brown said anything is possible in terms of the diagnosis, reports the Bucks County Courier Times. Guard Hollis Thompson has seen his role increase during Wroten’s absence.

The 76ers are 2-point underdogs to the Knicks.

Knee - Out for season (Updated - 1/23/15)
News
76ers guard Tony Wroten has suffered a torn ACL in his right knee and his status for the remainder of the season is unknown, the team announced Friday.

Wroten suffered the partially torn ACL during Jan. 16's game against the Pelicans. The injury will require surgery to repair the ligament in his knee.

"Until the procedure takes place, we are unable to provide a specific timeline for his return to play," the team said in a press release.

Wroten was averaging a team-high 16.9 points with 5.2 assists in 30 games this season.

He rounded out his line with seven assists, six rebounds and five steals in 38 minutes. The 76ers take a three-game losing streak into Friday's home game against the Raptors.

Noel was probable to play Friday due to an illness and managed to log 33 minutes after drawing the start. The double-double was his sixth of the season and second of January. He also tallied two steals and one assist in the loss, his team's fourth straight.

The 76ers will square off with the Grizzlies in Memphis Saturday.

Covington matched a season-high with his 11 three-pointers attempted but couldn't reach his 39.1 percent season success rate on shots from behind the arc. He also kicked in six rebounds, two blocks and two steals in 35 minutes in the loss. The 76ers will square off with the Grizzlies Saturday.

Grant also shot 2 of 4 from 3-point range and 4 of 8 from the free throw line in 26 minutes. Coach Brett Brown is liking what he is seeing from the rookie.

"(He's) our poster child at the moment. Jerami's work ethic and the fact he's getting minutes is helping him grow as a player," Brown said.
