News
76ers power forward Nerlens Noel delivered season highs of 17 points and 12 rebounds Saturday and expressed confidence in his play after the game.

''I am really starting to feel like my legs are under me now,'' Noel told the Associated Press. ''(After) not playing basketball in so long, I am already starting to feel my timing is a lot better and I'm feeling a lot more confident.''

''That was Nerlens' best game. So everybody in Philadelphia is seeing what we're seeing. It's slow but it's coming,'' coach Brett Brown said.

Noel will look to build on the excellent outing Monday when the 76ers host the Blazers.

76ers shooting guard K.J. McDaniels played a season-low 11 minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Celtics as the roster continues to get healthier, and the rookie expressed frustration with the reduced role Thursday, CSNPhilly.com reports.

"It is frustrating," McDaniels said. "But the minutes I do get, I have to go out and play as hard as I can. I can't determine the playing time, I just have to stay humble about it and keep grinding."

Coach Brett Brown indicated that there are areas of McDaniels' game that need to improve for him to be effective at tne NBA level. "It is important we don't forget what [McDaniels] can do," Brown said. "He can stand still, catch and shoot it, and he can play defense, particularly weak side defense where he is a great shot blocker for his size. But growing him is going to require more skill-related things about passing and dribbling especially."

McDaniels has averaged 8.5 points while shooting 46.7 percent from the floor in his first 11 games.
