News
Spurs point guard Tony Parker is still dealing with the lingering affects of a hamstring injury, which kept him out of action for nearly a month.

"I think it’s almost a mind thing," Parker said. "There’s not really pain. It’s just weird. I’m trying to stay positive and not think about it. I’m joking with the coaches, like, 'Stop asking me about it.'"

Parker, who is averaging 14.5 points and 4.7 assists in 33 games, is hoping to be able to shake off the injury and round back into form.

"I’m still trying to work through it," Parker said. "I’m trying to put it behind me and get my game back."

Coach Gregg Popovich said he thinks Parker is worried about conditioning instead of the leg injury.

"He’s a confident player," Popovich said. "I don’t think he’s thinking about his leg. I think he’s thinking more about getting more minutes and getting into shape and playing."

News
Spurs forward Danny Green is averaging a career-high 30.1 minutes per game, but he admits the extra playing time has taken a toll on his energy level, reports the San Antonio Express-News.

"Some days the energy is there," Green said. "Some days, you're fighting to find it."

With the Spurs dealing with a variety of injuries earlier this season, Green said he didn't have a choice, but to play.

"Right now is the healthiest we've been," Green said. "There are times we could have sat some guys, but we couldn't afford it. If you were healthy enough to play, you had to play."

Green has gone four consecutive games without scoring at least 10 points, but he said the ups and downs are part of the season.

"You can't lose confidence and change your game," Green said. "You have to stick with it, and hopefully the worm will turn."

News
Spurs small forward Kawhi Leonard scored a team-high 24 points on 8 of 18 shooting, including 4 of 8 shooting from three-point range, in his team's 105-85 loss to the Clippers in San Antonio Saturday.

Leonard was one of just two Spurs to score in double digits Saturday as the team struggled through a rare off-night at home. He also racked up five rebounds and three steals in 34 minuts of action. The Spurs will look to bounce back Wednesday against the Magic.
