News
Wizards point guard John Wall and forward Paul Pierce were unable to participate in Friday's practice.

Wall wasn't 100 percent certain he would play in Saturday's game because of a lingering ankle injury as well as persistent migraines. He is visiting a doctor about the migraines later on Friday. Wall said he should have sat out Wednesday's game as well.

Pierce is dealing with a toe injury that caused him to miss Tuesday's game, even though he did play Wednesday.

Wizards shooting guard Martell Webster (knee) is available for Wednesday's game against the Suns, while power forward Nene (foot) has been ruled out, the team announced.

Webster suffered a knee injury in Tuesday's win over the Lakers and did not return, playing just six minutes and scoring five points. Nene will be missing his first game since Dec. 8 because of a sore right foot.

The Wizards are 6 1/2-point underdogs in Phoenix Wednesday.

News
Wizards guard Garrett Temple hasn't logged a lot of playing time this season, but he knew what his role was going to be when he re-signed in the offseason. Temple understood he was going to provide depth at the guard position as a defensive specialist, as well as serve as a leader in the locker room.

However, Temple is hopeful he will earn more playing time as the season progresses, per The Washington Post.

“I know I can play in this league," the 28-year-old Temple said. “Hopefully I showed that I deserve to play. I’ll get my chance but like I said, I’m going to be a great team player. Whenever I get a chance to play, I’ll go out there and give it my best and that’s basically it.

“I want to play. I always want to play. In the NBA you have to have some kind of confidence to be here and I know I can play in this league and I know I can help this team. But at the end of the day, it’s a team sport and we have a lot of guys that have that same mentality.”

Injuries
Ankle - Questionable for Jan. 31 vs. Toronto (Updated - 1/30/15)
News
While Wizards guard John Wall has been hampered by an ankle sprain and a sore Achilles' tendon, he said dealing with migraine headaches has been worse, reports The Washington Post.

"It's just been killing me, man, to be honest," Wall said.

Wall is scheduled to see a doctor Friday to help alleviate the headaches. He added the migraines have been bothering him for the last two weeks, but intensified Monday.

As Wall continues to deal with the sprained ankle and migraines, he said he plans to play in Saturday's game against the Raptors.

"I missed too many games my first three years to miss games now," Wall said. "Hopefully the two days off will help. But if it ain't broken, I'll play."
